Saga OOC: Beginning of the End

Figured, I would get this out of the way now. Just in case people have any questions, comments, concerns, disputes and such. This is where you voice them to keep the saga flowing.

Umm... Shin, how did the enemy army get passed all of us? Their attack was set to occur the next day and they were positioned outside of the fort. Just curious.

Wait.. the time difference between all of that was less than an hour from that battle to the point of the army arriving. Why would they move to the mountains? That's why I came first, to make sure the army that was there half an hour ago wasn't waiting for the army to appear.

So who is in front of Sanzo right now?

I mean if there were 200+ in the RP that outside of the gates and now there is less than that, I think we should know something is up, right?

@ash - lol. domenance is very far from Q11 on the map i'm lookin @. i forgot if each map grid is 5 or 10 miles but either way there's over 20 of them lil notches. so i'm guessin the army can move 1 in the time it takes jenn's lil tiger to move 20 or more. it aint been no hr! why would they move? thought i illustrated that very nicely xD b/c ppl is on the way son!

@ psi - um... might have goofed that post. there's 100 ppl @ the fort. they'll be in front of Sanzon. when i read ur post, it was like you warped sanzon then the army. dun look like he got tha tmuch of a lead ahead of you guys. yes. w/the reduced numbers and smoke signals, yall should know something is up.

@Past Realm: I think the entire scene is kinda confused, so I'll try to explain and Kyro can correct any mistakes.

Ascension is located at S11. Demon Fortress is Q11. So Ash, Sanzo is currently in the vicinity of Q11, not Ascension. Your last post sounded like you were referencing Ascension. If not, ignore. Shin, Kaeles has Ascended movement being a "completed" Mystic Mount so it is well within reason that the hellcat could cover the distance than an army moving at Average could. Already posted, so no biggie, but just saying.

So as it stands right now... in the memories that Mukhya got from Samud, he would have seen roughly 200 troops or so as stated in our RP and shared with the characters (Aria, Sanzo, Domen). Now there is significantly less. As Shin said, coupled with the smoke signals, something is off. Especially since the force was originally outside of the gate ready to march for battle and now they are in defensive siege mode.

Shin, in our RP, only about an hour, maybe 90 mins, had passed. Domen only takes 100 troops, so it doesn't take long to assemble them. Also, Mukhya teleports them so the travel time was removed as well. The time for them to gather and march an additional 200 troops AND march them should have balanced it out some to where yeah they could have already been gone, but they shouldn't be THAT close to Ascension yet imo.

Still... as it's set:
1) We are maybe a half-square away from the fortress.
2) Demon and his forces are a square (?) away from Ascension.
3) Sanzo's cloud is almost to full power.
4) Domen's present army numbers 100 troops.
5) Demon's defense force numbers 100 troops (50 archers, 25 swordsmen, & 25 something else)

Did I miss anything? ^_^

Also, Sanzo left well before the troops. He left before the army was fully formed, so he would've had maybe a 15-30 minute lead on everyone I believe. Still, we can roll with it.

the normal usage of it should be like.. 10,000 gallons..

Wait really? I didn't think pools held that much water. Well you use 1-2 gallons for a wet t-shirt contest, so 3000 should still be more than adequate to do the damn thing. Besides, I was half-asleep when I wrote that.
