Ability 1: Pure Affinity (passive)
Being supernatural creatures who excel in battle, these Kami have learned to utilize support and light magic in conjunction with offensive magic of matching alignment. Having a heightened bond to the Spiritual Arts, they are able to use all perfected abilities in their affinity at full strength at all times.
Effect: Allows Kunashi Kami to use offensive affinity magic at full power, even with Light or Support; offensive magic tech must be perfected to deal destructive damage, technique drain over fierce is flat and cannot be lowered/reduced through training.

The drain is obviously Destructive b/c it allows Destructive damage, so it's obviously over fierce. So basically the drain is 25% instead of 17%?

Ability 2: Siphon
Kunashi are taught to neutralize and control their opponents. This power was developed for that purpose. Dagger sized (or larger) spiritual energy talons are projected out at targets (+1 per level) and upon hitting them deals no damage, so they often don't even feel the strike, but within moments suddenly feel themselves drained of their energy. The talons vanish after draining the energy.
Effect: Drains 5% stamina per level per target
(( the lvl increases the drain plus the number of targets you're able to hit. taking 25 stamina from 5 ppl and trying to add 50% to urself is too much. ))

I only take 40% or 10 Stamina per target at perfected. Also, the honest likelihood of Mukhya facing off against 5 people in a real RP is pretty low. Add on the possibility of actually hitting all 5 targets and the 50 Stamina Absorb problem is even less likely.

The absorption is:

Trained: 4 - 8 - 12 - 16 -20
Honed: 6 - 12 - 18 - 24 - 30
Mastered: 8 - 16 - 24 - 32 - 40
Perfected: 10 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 50

drain will always be as if the tech is @ novice for attacks over fierce

nah. u can use the approved version or we can toss this one. the more it's brought up, the more i dun like this tech as u got it. you already got water loving for stamina. anymore discussion create a new thread in OOC to discuss your tech to keep this board clean of back and forth

The caster creates humanoid light spirit warrior construct that are able to fight independently of their caster. The number of warriors created depend on the control level of the technique (+1 per level). They can be easily defeated by cursed attacks.
Effect: attributes and damage is Strong, Construct density = 5.

Ability 4: Siphon

Custom Technique that I know you will never allow!!

Reverse Lightning
In life, there comes a time where you must make a personal sacrifice for the greater good. Sometimes this means putting an enemy that you cant kill in an electrocution coma for days, keeping their body in a constant thriving pain. This technique, forbidden to use, can kill the user if not performed properly. By pushing your own purified energy into an opponent, instead of electricity, you can disrupt their entire body, electrocuting them from the inside for an extended period of time. The downside is that that purified energy is gone until the technique wears off.

Effect : Paralysis+ Day per level. Can only be used once perfected
Drain 2x Destructive. Stamina cost gone as long as technique is held

Lightning Eater
Being a master of electricity, Sanzon is able to redirect electricity and store it in his body. To do this, he can effectively "eat" lightning. When eating lightning, he can use the alternate energy as his own, essentially re-powering his body. It can be directed to heal his body, or give him a boost of energy up to his maximum.

Effect : 20% of lightning level converted to HP/STA
Drain : Can only be used at Perfected

So, lets say we take a single inheritance theory to our characters.. we are masters of our custom techs, and want to pass them down just like they were passed to us. Instead of another character making their own customs, can we teach them ours?

Effect : negates Water Loving, converts offensive lightning attacks received 20% per level, to HP based on how much damage the attack would normally do (i.e. at Perfected, Sanzo receives back HP = damage attack would have done if it hit him).

Lightning Commandant (passive)
Since you are so intuned with lightning, it allows a user to channel lower spells without an incantation. The wait time on the spell is the same as if there were a chant, but it does not have to be vocalized. This ability allows the user to cast up to strong spells once they are mastered without an incantation.
Effect: nullchant spells under Strong, drain is Medium

Gorgyn Tainting
A myth, a demon, a spawn of incest, a god and a sea monster related by blood hailing from The Great sea these treacherous creatures came from, but that was many, many, oh so many centuries ago and they are thought to be nothing more than a myth.

Gorgyn Xformation
This Xformation changes quite a bit of the user. Their hair transforms into new locks of living venomous snakes, which upon will can change to appear as regular hair. They grow wings of gold protruding out from their backs, obtain claws, their skin takes on the same texture as that of a serpent, their teeth changes to that of serpent fangs and their blood changes as well. With training, the user can make their appearance look like a regular human.
Effect: attributes are Strong

Gorgyn Blood
Of legend it is said that depending upon the side to which the blood of the Gorgyn is drawn from acquires different affects. From the left side a instantly fatal poison, and from the right side of the Gorgyn it's been said that the healing properties of the Gorgyn's right side can even bring back the dead.
Effect: blood causes K/O on injection (left side), blood holds miraculous healing properties; can revive others (right side) and nullify poison.

Gorgyn's Gaze
With a gaze so terrible legend speaks that it can turn anything that gazes upon it to stone. Making the user's very own sight their own worst enemy as it can turn anything that looks at them to stone, even themselves.
Effect: encases those who gaze upon it into stone, bind strength increases +1 per level.

Gorgyn's Curse
According to legends these creatures were born of a incestuous love and thus their parents were that of a god and a sea monster to which the god lineage passed onto them and they acquired immortality. Living to roam the world forever, never to be loved for fear that there gaze would turn the one they love to stone and only accompanying one another.
Effect: user remains living 1 post per level then they 'die' only to revive and respawn in the Great Sea.

No, my checkpoint was reached around 25-28k but you froze updates for a month with the never-ending Dark Tourney. So I was around 35-38k when you finally let me post for it. Also, nowhere does it say that you have to have 25k words from the last approved checkpoint.

As for the buildings, I have a full wall around the outpost, and two medium houses. We sleep in the trees and camp. We're nature folks in Mandira. ^_^ Again tho, I don't see anything that requires you to have a certain number of structures before I can advance, but the need for more Carpenters brings me to a Site Suggestion...

I already knew that it would be open to anyone and that's fine. Honestly, I originally had it as a site suggestion, but all I've been seeing is "I'll look into it" meaning that a) you're busy or b) it won't actually come into effect for a month or so. If there's not a fundamental problem with the concept, then it would basically serve as an opening for others to purchase slaves/servants to work for them.

Oh and I DO have Carpenters... like 89 of them. Gosh! That hurts...

Are you serious about the hair products? We live on a jungle island, we got those Coming to America and Herbal Essence fruits and berries and plant extracts. Everyone will have sexy, silky, smooth hair! In a very non-gay way tho for the men.

Makin' another normal character since one of mine died v.v, but I need t' see if the history is fine with ya (It was suggested I place it hyneh)

Rei was very right about all the villagers dying, but his sister had a strong will to live- she wanted to see her brother at least one more time, after the killings. Because of that, she held on and went to 'heaven', though not the heaven of her religion. Within Sprius, most of her time was being spent in a more human form, as that is how people's spirits were treated in her villager's religion. She has lived all these years with little emotion, helping when she could. However, she broke a rule, ten years ago; she prayed to her religion's dragon god until she was caught. For that, she was kicked out and placed into the human realm, living in the Lower Commons ever since.

While in the presence of sunlight, their stamina may be replenished at a quickened pace thanks to the processes of Photosynthesis.
Effect: +10% damage reduction per level from magix attacks of the lightning, water, and earth elements. +50% damage from magix attacks of the fire and ice elements. +1 stamina per level trained while resting in the presence of sunlight.

Bestows the creature with the ability to extend up to two vines from their body. They act very much like appendages and possesses the creature's overall strength, making them a powerful tool for binding their prey. The ends open to reveal mouths capable of ingesting organic matter - a wondrous and convenient tool indeed.
Effect: Damage and binding strength based on attributes. May extend 10 feet per level. Takes 5 posts to regenerate in case of destruction. (-1 post per level)

» Nectar
Such a thing has been said to be the food and drink of the gods and mortals who ate it became alike gods themselves. Certainly, such was mere exaggeration; or at least, it most surely was in the case of the Bloodpetals. Despite their savagery, they possess an ability most are unaware of for the durations of their lives. It is likely for that very reason. A nectar may be produced with the sacrifice of their own energy, excreted from the mouths of their viny appendages. It may revive a lifeless Bloodpetal and even those of other species, but since the Bloodpetal must be alive to create it, it is of little use to itself. This is the reason for the ability's scarcity. The energy required to create it can be large, making its ability to act as a food source nigh impossible. However, it is able to close wounds if administered (orally) to itself.
Effect: HP sacrificed = HP restored. May revive those KOed. If the user ingests it themselves, if the HP restored trumps the damage that was inflicted, the injury will be healed. No HP will return, however.

» Nectar
Such a thing has been said to be the food and drink of the gods and mortals who ate it became alike gods themselves. Certainly, such was mere exaggeration; or at least, it most surely was in the case of the Bloodpetals. Despite their savagery, they possess an ability most are unaware of for the durations of their lives. It is likely for that very reason. A nectar may be produced with the sacrifice of their own energy, excreted from the mouths of their viny appendages. It may revive a lifeless Bloodpetal and even those of other species, but since the Bloodpetal must be alive to create it, it is of little use to itself. This is the reason for the ability's scarcity. The energy required to create it can be large, making its ability to act as a food source nigh impossible. However, it is able to close wounds if administered (orally) to itself. If the user ingests it themselves a injury will be healed, but no HP will return, however.
Effect: HP sacrificed = HP restored, revives K/O, revives death at perfected.

» Nova

This ability displays a Tortle's prowess over the creation and manipulation of their shells. Through their pores, they secrete a substance that rapidly solidifies and forms into their carapace. Time spent in practice results in the ability to create a shell just as strong as their initial and eventually, they are able to spawn one of even greater fortification. Its partial removal and creation as well as adjustment so they may withdraw into its depths where they may fully shield themselves from hazards.
Effect: May create shell. +20% density per level trained (up to 6 density). 10 stamina per density to create/repair, -5 per level trained.
» Natural-born Swimmer (passive)
Unlike their apparent ancestors, the Tortles are endothermic and don't possess the slow metabolisms they would be expected to. Their astonishing resistance to cold makes it possible for them to brave just about any ocean of any location. Of course, their need for air is more apparent than those of the poikilothermic class. As they spend more time in the water, their proficiency and skill manoeuvring within it increases as does the length they are able to hold their breath.
Effect: +20% spd & agi per level (up to +1 attribute level) while in water. Can hold breath for 12 minutes per level trained.
» Hydrageddon
Perhaps their most unorthodox ability, the Tortle withdraws into their shell before utilizing a high-powered version of Hydro Cannon within its confines. This results in 5 separate streams that jettison from each opening within the shell. However, their affinity for the water element is utilized to influence it. Putting this to use, the water is manipulated to form a tornado with themselves positioned at its center. This is undoubtedly the Tortle's most devastating and destructive ability and those who had mastered it are regarded as those to be respected amidst their species.
Effect: Damage is Destructive. Suction strength is Strong. Repeating the cost allows the technique to continue uninterrupted. Range = 15 feet per level trained. Moves at speed attribute.

Heyas. In advance, I apologize if this isn't the respective board to make this question, though I think I came to the right spot. Would it be conceivable for me to basically have a sword {rather, when I acquire one}, a normal one {claymore-esque, though perhaps slightly larger}, with a spirit it in? This addition wouldn't particularly serve any purpose besides for the purpose of RP and for the sake of having the character which I have intention to make, their story to be valid. Literally, it cannot talk, it doesn't offer any spiritual abilities, not summoning a spirit or transfiguring the weapon into the spirit, nothing, not even communication between the user and it, and not the ability to reference it in future techniques. It wouldn't differentiate any from an actual normal sword.

Or, would it be possible, for a Summoner (Possession), to have the summon the sword specifically? I ask this in the form of a request/something requiring approval due to my current notion that the summon taking on the form of a sword may require density and the like to fulfil its role as an actual weapon.

a sword w/a spirit can be handled in the sentient quest. mold it to you.
if you want to rp having a normal sword and say it has a spirit in it
it's fine so long as it functions as a normal sword

for the sword summon...there's actually a quest for that
i think bonding or something lets you summon a sword
if you're trying to give the summon sword possession summon attributes (i.e. flying sword etc) then that'll be a lil harder. a custom should be able to work for it.

not sure if i fully understood what u asked for, so lemme know if i'm way off base or if this ain't whatcha mean.

Snow Ghosting
Ghosting refers to a type of cold teleportation that allows the user to basically disappear and reappear around areas where ice or snow is present. With this, their body disappears into the the snow or ice they are on, and they are able to move to and reappear somewhere else within the snow or ice. The Le'pard's movement is restricted by a connection of the medium in which it's moving.
Effect: drain is Strong (per post), ghosting travel speed based on attributes
