Masamune, a man made of legends for blacksmiths, is a dealer in special weaponry within the past. He does not care how he gets his money, thus the Temples are against him. He sells to spirits and humans alike. He is specially adapt at creating new and deadly weaponry by feudal era standards. He is known as a master of magic and blades, likely the only reason that he is still alive because of his dealings between the two races. He is a traveling blacksmith most of the time, and until he is commissioned, he'll move every day. Anything normal that you order from him will cost x2 what it normally does but it also has x2 the density of normal weapons.

This merchant can only be found in the past realm.

BLADES

Húdié Shuāng Dāo [Butterfly sword]
A short blade made to be concealed within sleeves before being removed for surprising attacks. Often used in pairs, and comes with a leather sheath.

Shuanggou [Hook Sword]
An exotic looking weapon, the end of the blade comes up in a curve. The weapon is duel edged. The pommel of the Shuanggou is a spear blade, with hand guards that make a rectangle, with the edges pointing away being spear-blade-like as well. This is another weapon commonly used in pairs.

Kama [Sickle]
The perfect weapon for an assassin. A humble beginning, the kama is used not only for slicing, but for farming, by cutting wheat or other plants.

Kusarigama
Another weapon perfect for assassins. The kusarigama is a kama connected to a chain that has a ball or a kunai blade at the end of it. The chain can be anywhere from one meter to three meters in length. Anything extra must be specially ordered.

POLEARMS / STAFFS

Ji
A double-headed halberd with a spear blade in the middle that traditionally has a red tassel under the blade. It often has a sharpened end on the other side. It is mainly used for slashing and stabbing. One may also think of it as an Oriental trident. The whole halberd is 6 feet long, with the bladed head being 1 foot and 6 inches.

Yari
A staff with a long blade at the top end of the weapon, which is usually flat to easily slide in-between ribs and and then slide out. The bottom end are thick, blunt metal end, for a counterweight and a weapon for blunt damage. The whole spear is 6 feet long, with the bladed head being 1 foot and 2 inches.

Three Section Staff
A very deceptive weapon, the three section staff has two looks: one that seems to be a Bou staff that has chains hidden, which loosened when the staff is twisted to turn into two foot poles that twist around opponents to the three sections themselves.

Short Range

Tonfa
Simply short rods, either metal or wood, about 2 feet and a half. There is a handle that you hold onto, or you can hold onto the short end of the tonfa on the other side of the handle.

Emeici [Emei Daggers]
A pair of unlikely pair of deadly weapons. The Emeici are a steel weapon pair of daggers that look like crossbow bolts shrunk into 7 inch blades. Each has a barb at the end. They have a leather strap in the middle, meant for these weapons to be spun for a hidden attack or to dazzle the opponent while attacking with the other one. These can be hidden in sleeves or placed in pouches.

Blacksmith Order.
Masamune merely creates numerous 'generic' weapons, but if you want anything custom made, he'll make it for you. For a price, that is.

A Mandirai merchant walks into the blacksmith's shop and looks around at the different weapons and the very unique items that he is not sure if they are weapons or tools of some sort. When someone comes out to greet him, he speaks, "I was passing through on trade and heard about your shop. I was wondering if you make shields? Not tower shields or anything like that, but something the size of a buckler and can be strapped or tied to his forearm should suffice. Are you able to craft shields like that?"

masamune is sitting outside of this carriage on a box with a straw in his mouth. He looks up and listens to the merchant.
"i craft blades... a shield will cost you 4,000 shinny."

OOC: I figured that he would have some location that he would be able to meet with people b/c tracking him would be annoying. :)

The merchant nods and says, "For 4000 Shinny, how sturdy is this shield? (Guard/Density?) We must insure that my Master will be safe from attack should this shield be struck. I was told that Master Masamune could construct all sorts of manners of war in highest quality. If you would prefer to refer me to a Master Armorer, I would understand. Your reputation is valuable, sir."

Mukesh had great trouble finding this blacksmith. But he was said to be the best.

He approached the man, and laided out a set of plans. "I would like these created." He said simply. It would be up to the man to say no or yes.

Kunai sleeves
This is a pair of sleeves that have special attachments to hold kunai(5 each arm) on the outside, along the Ulna bone. Using pressure to the palms will cause one kunai to cycle up to the palm, ready to be thrown. Also can be used to slash an opponent in close quarters.
Damage: close quarters damage is weapon damage
