~ "Until its location is revealed and the seal is broken, I cannot access it..." ~
Darkness lingers over the city. The clouds threaten to bring down rain. Lightning flashes in the skies and thunder roars. It is still early in the work day. The news warns residents to stay inside.
"There is high chance of rain. Our instruments predict a downpour that can last a full day. Maybe even longer." "We haven't had a flood in the city in quite some time, have we?" "It's been a pretty long time. I doubt any of the good areas will actually flood. The lower commons might, but everyone else should be fine." "Haha. Yeah, they always get the worst of it. I'm glad I stay in the Metro. Still expect rain and high winds..."
-
Three monks dressed in traditional attire walk into the Division 12 HQ. The lead monk holds a staff that he uses as a walking stick. He is an old man with long white eyebrows, hair and beard. The two other monks are much younger. People would be able to tell they were from the forest. They would be unarmed. The lead monk speaks out.
"I need to speak with whoever is in charge here. It is of the utmost urgency."
Lightning flashes in the sky in the background of the newcomers. Rain starts to pour down.
-
Marcos sits in the air in the sky. He is protected from the rain by a barrier that surrounds him in a bubble. He rests his elbow on his knees and looks over the dark city.
"It's kind of boring if we give them a warning."
The Leviathan stands in the air next to him.
"That's what the plan is. In the end, the humans are not our target."
Marcos sighs and lays on his back.
"But they're fun to mess with. This sucks. I could have done this with my demon army..."
"Something this simple I could do alone."
"Me too... Hell... my kid probably could... I'm just saying."
The Leviathan turns and looks to the forest.
"He says it's more fun with the weak ones struggle against each other. Our time will come."
Spirits flow from the Onitoshi portal. Yokai and forest spirits group up in the forest. Birds and animals flee from that portion of the forest. It is completely overrun by spirits. They gather and grow in numbers. Lightning flashes again. Something big was about to happen from the forest.

Phase I - New Direction (Heavenly Manifestation Arc) Location: Future Realm Due to the fact that the human seemed to be hung up on the remaining two demons, I look between Sanzon, the human and the demons and decided that if their deaths expedited my time here, it was a little cost to pay overall within the grand scheme of the universe. Obviously Sanzon wanted information from this one and the two nameless ones were of little consequence. Lifting my hands to the heavens, the already dark skies unleash a pummeling onslaught of dark bolts onto the location of the two demons and their surrounding radius (Dark Skies, -10 sHP). There would most probably be a large crater and ashes in the area where the two minor NPCs once where, along with their shadowy third friend who may or may not have survived Sanzon’s initial attack.
The situation had warranted a bit of thought, however. From what I remembered of this realm, demons were not supposed to be in the streets, regardless of weather, fighting against humans. Though odd, it wasn’t enough for me to think that something huge was up. It wasn’t until Paco, the small fairy who had traveled with us up to this point, returns to my side, that I am informed of something amidst. “Master,” he notices looking toward a screen in a window display of a store, “it looks like spirits are encased within those rectangular containers.” With a frown, I confirmed the idiot was speaking of a television; I had become accustomed to them through Natsuki and knew of their magic. Something on the television catches my attention, however, as the soundless broadcast displayed a picture of a very familiar demon, one I had seen in my previous final days in this realm once before. Looking towards Ingel, I was now curious as well. Pointing towards the screens, I speak, “human, what do you know of that demon?”

Phase I - New Direction (Heavenly Manifestation Arc)...
My gaze lingers on the dead body as it lays in the puddled lawn; the blade, Goronova, is held limply in my right hand with its tip pointing to the ground. A soft frown is on my lips as the rain from the dark skies above travels down my face and body. Suddenly, the rain stops making contact with my body as Natsuki’s umbrella comes over me and draws me back into coherence. I feel the softness in her touch as her hand comes to my face; my face turns to meet hers. Her voice was soft as it called my name and it reminded me that I needed to be strong here and not show her my weaker side. I had dealt with a lot up to this point; my life was only just now starting to get to where I could call it enjoyable... I might have been getting spoiled as of late. For now, I make the effort to repress whatever emotions I was feeling as best I could. I would either revisit these emotions later, or store them deep within my heart in hopes that they did not rot within me. As I look at Natsuki, my eyes widen slightly as I notice the cut on the side of her cheek. My hand comes up to it and rubs at it softly, smearing the blood there. “I should get something to clean that out for you…” I say returning the soft tone and attempting to push the kill from my mind. My body jerks to the side as I sneeze; it would make sense, since I was basically outside in the rain in my underwear. With a sigh, my mother speaks, “get in the house, naked boy… but stay away from me. Natsuki, can you take care of him please?” In my mind, I thought, ‘we have two dead bodies on our lawn and she’s worried about me catching a cold?’

The single bolt would strike the demon, sending his sparking body to the ground in a smoky heap. My words to the human, Ingel, were cut short when I heard a strange war cry from the street. With his enforcer tipped over, the most it could be used for was a piece of junk shield. Looking back, I took a chance to gander over at Domen. Before I knew it, mobs of demons were in the streets. Turning again, I saw a familiar technique that I quite enjoyed. Accompanying it was a beautiful series of screams while demons were turned to cinders, and the remands pressed into the cratered street. Domen had spoken, a rarity today, and brought my attention back to the human. Was there really something going on? I came over to take a look, only to recognize one of them.. “so.. looks like we came at a perfect time.. gotta go kick the shit out of that ice dragon again.. what was his name?” I laughed while twisting my body again. I was pretty sure the Division would know I was back, so may as well get the party started the right way. My right arm would raise, left leg sliding backwards to balance my body. “emperor of the skies, spark and ignite!” Just as Domen had done with his signature attack, I had returned with my own. The technique would light the area like it was daytime, with thousands of little yellow balls of energy forming around us. Ingel would probably remember this technique as the one that nearly killed him. Smiling, I figured there was no reason to waste time on spirits who had no intention of listening to me to begin with. The bright light from the blast would spread across the area, doing massive structural damage and unfortunately giving a huge calling card for “come and get us” to the other demons in the area. Walking over towards Ingel, I would smile at Domen.. “your turn”

It wasn't exactly to her surprise that more would come along, but it was a tad bit frustrating. Her fervid temper arising, at least it was good for regaining her original nature. You could probably fill a dump truck by now with bodies yet these demons just kept on coming. A vein manages to bulge within her forehead as she looks towards the approaching mob. Her lips manage to seep into a grin; all of these weaklings were not going to progress her at all strength wise, or so that's what she thought. Hopefully these would just be some kind of warm up... because as of now it was just like training with weights that were far too light, it would make the muscles more profound, but would not build the much needed strength additionally.
Her attention fixates upon the weapon one of the approachers had currently been using. He must have been a hybrid seeing as the use of his hands were still intact, a humanoid trait. "Cobra of Light..." She chants a pseudo version of the spell she had previously used. Extending her hand a chain of electricity extends forth within its thirty foot boundary. Wrapping around the sword of this attacker she tugs it to assure she had a firm hold. It had been great since the electricity would travel through the sword and paralyse him as well. To complete this, she performs her signature technique. She melds into the shadow and appears behind the approaching mob. Her location shifted in such a short amount of time the sword which had been originally been pulled towards her would fling back in her new direction at an increased speed because of the acquired momentum from the initial pull. The size of the sword would enable the beheading of not just the attacker, but three individuals behind him as well. That was four dead. But, the sword would not stop at that. Still attached to her lightning chain she would swing her arm towards enemy units of another group using the range of the chain as her advantage. It would elegantly carve through their throats, splattering blood like crimson paint. Seven. It was up to the others, now.

Phase I - New Direction (Heavenly Manifestation Arc) Location: Future Realm After my magnificent attack, I witness Sanzon continue with his signature attack as if it were greater than mine. My gaze shifts from the mute human, looking over to him with a slight frown of annoyance I wondered if he were trying to outdo me in sheer might and stamina. Knowing him and his playful mannerisms, I had a good idea that this may be a challenge of some type. Since I did not need to go through the trouble of taking any of these demons back to the past realm with me, they were disposable. The human become no longer interesting as the battle for style points would begin. More would enter into the scene and without words, in seeing what happened to the other demons thus far, they would come in, immediately attacking. Fire makes its way through the air and towards my position, to which I respond, “minions!” With that, the concrete breaks as three of my golem warriors burst from the grounds, one on each side of me. The fire attack is met with a physical back of strong attribute from one of my golems. Now protected by my entourage and barrier from annoyances, I get a visual mark on a group of 12 within the newcomers and raise my right hand to the sky. “Sora kuro descend,” I order as dark energy strikes over several portions of the attackers, interrupting attacks and laying waste to the group. With a smug frown of arrogance, I turn my gaze towards Sanzon as if to say, ‘it’s on like donkey kong.’

I listened to the shouts of anger from several different locations. Between the two of us, we had marked this area as a target for the demons who were locals. Perfect! The human looked to be speechless at the amount of power displayed, so it was time to keep going. I put my hands in my pocket and took a hop back while watching another group come into the area. Bright flames shot through the air before colliding with those pesky little golems that he so often loved to use. I had a decently difficult time taking care of them and being able to focus on Domen earlier today. Shaking my head, I turned around watching a group of about the same size come through a neighborhood. They were something I had never witnessed before.. humans with fangs? What in the hell? Maybe it was a crossbreed of some sort. "Hall of Thunder, explode!" Drawing my own hand up, the skies would ignite before several bolts pillaged the area they were in. I smiled, watching the bolts, one by one, lay waste to the ground. Dust and debris covered the area once again as their screams died down, and I wondered how much this part of the city would be able to take of the spiritual kill-fest that we had going on. Either way, as long as they kept coming, we would rid the city of their presence. Backing up, I would put myself five feet away from Domen, but facing the opposite direction. “seventeen!!”

Amidst this legion of perdition-birthed creatures strode one of green skin. His strides proved wanton at best, permitting him to relatively inconspicuously fall a ways behind. His eyes could not help but skitter across the underbelly of the storm's infinitively black, chillingly foreboding clouds. Ever-still had both earth and sky trembled beneath the thunderous bellows of the tempest's ire-soused laments. The atmosphere suppurated with malignity, doubtlessly and nigh fatedly meant to bestow the inhabitants of this city with an unceasing, unwavering fear. It was a shame he had begun to feel its effects. A flux of feeling and logic urged his pace slower and slower. Even then, he felt so potently alien to this realm as a whole. He could not even interact with it properly. So, what was his purpose for accompanying this legion of ostensibly mindless creatures?
A heart-felt tremor of terror rinsed his interior through, forced him to a stop with the appearance of a girl just ahead of him. A wondrous thing it was for his lack of motivation has saved him from decapitation. How much he would have liked to flee, it appeared such would hardly do any good. That, of course, would not stop the yokai from trying. So with that, he turned upon a pivot and ran in an effort to distance himself from the gathering. A few eyes had fallen his way, the sight of his cowardice contorting their faces with a burbling frustration. They lacked the time to care and for a time, he was left alone.

A last push to destroy us, I wasn't sure how these spirits and possessed humans reached this foolish decision to attempt to destroy us. None the less, I would shift my gaze steadily to the grouping and saw that the need for this. I would wave my hand at the enemies, giving a silent command to Hyaica. It was little time to be holding back, and I would simply need them destroyed before we moved on with it.
Hyaica would notice the wave and a small smile slipped onto her lips. Enemies needed destroying, and that is what she would do. Calmly walking in front of the group, she would wave her hand to let the spell flow out, hitting ten enemies as she would only increase her smile lightly. stepping forward, she would then move with grace and calmness and waved her hand again, finishing off the ten writing in pain from the white flames that danced among them. She certainly didn't hold much back. But it was like she thought, she'd misse one. He was badly burnt, but after fifteen seconds, he was given sweet release when she stepped on his chest and broke into the skin beyond, ribbing flying up and a scream ripping through the battlefield, even as his heart was smashed into a bloody pancake.
I would nod and look around at the remaining eight opponents, and then a small green creature. However, his actions seemed very... different then the rest, to say the least. My emerald eyes would actually find him to be a cute spirit, one that was actually more like a stuffed animal then a scary demon. Accordingly, a light smile played on my face as I would bring up a hand, halting Hyaica before she would go to try and kill him. Or at least... I guessed it was a male. Could it be female? One could only wonder.

Phase I - New Direction ... Time: Day ... Location: Future Realm, Division 12 HQ
It would seem that several spirits had come out of the wood works in order to disrupt the order that the Division would be attempting to bring back to the city. After exiting the vehicle, I would look around and witness the shadows of our welcoming party, standing within close proximity of the Enforcer as the others exited as well. There is a rushing sound as a ball of dark energy splashes upon the barrier, causing it to illuminate a dull tinted glow of blue at a distance of several yards out on one side of the enforcer; fire strikes it on the other and lightning comes into contact at a third area. We seem composed as if knowing the vehicle’s localized short ranged barrier would hold. There are various clicking sounds as Tapp makes the comment, “let’s lock and load,” Ted is quiet as always as he gets his rifle ready and Michael remains in the Enforcer to monitor our systems. “Stay within the barrier,” comes my orders before granting, “open fire.” With that, Tapp’s husky voice growls as his rifle is lifted to his shoulder and he opens fire on the shadowy figures about and rushing the Enforcer. The sound of gun fire mixes in with the rain drops and thunder as it would look much like a scene from Left for Dead. Ted joins in lifting his sniper rifle and using his night vision to take quick aim at targets, firing critical one shot kills before reloading.
Closing my eyes, with my hands to my side, my sensing abilities spans out in a 100 ft radius about my body; using signature I lock onto the positions of incoming targets. I call forth the pistols that were bounded to my body through the mystical ink of the dark apprentice; shadowy ink swirls around both arms as my pistols form within my grasp. My eyes are still closed as the tilt of my head rises and my right arm raises and fire’s twice. My left arm comes up and fires three shots before my right shifts and fires one, gaining a head shot before my left arm shifts again and fires three shots, my right shifts and empties the rest of the clip with my left following suit. The shots, aimed through sensing, occur in rapid fire; the emptied clips are released, free falling towards the ground before my hands both come to my belt, retrieving new clips and reloading the weapons.

Phase I - New Direction (Heavenly Manifestation Arc) Location: Future Realm The flashes of lightning illuminate my form as I watch the next group of peons die at the hands of the Lightning Tiger. Moving down the list of generic baddies, the next group that would come within the crater under our constant renovation would be a gang of spider people. Though I had an arsenal of ranged attacks, I felt that Sanzon lacked in close ranged abilities and I would exploit that in my next barrage. The spider people descend into our play area, and moving forwards in a unit with my golems of shadows and earth, I generate my blade in one hand while the other unsheathes my Calabolg in the other, entering into the fray. On arrival, I would shift to the side of a web blast that would continue on towards Sanzon behind me. My blade would come up and parry the weaponless assailant, aimed to move through his throat (1). A golem would grapple another to whom I would turn and thrust my blade into, allowing that golem to slam down on its throat to finish off (2) while I turned to meet another. A sharp limb would be thrust towards me like a blade, but it would be pushed to the side by the golem behind me as I step forwards and slice the limb off with the Kensatsu before following through with the Calabolg to slice through the chest of the demon (3). The golem to my side would take down another demon and bash down on its face several times (4) as I cover it, slashing the face of another who attempted to assist his cohort (5). Behind me, the golems would each trade blows and over power two more incomers (6 & 7), and I would proceed forth, with an attack failing on my invoked barrier as I pull my cursed blade down and into the shoulder and neck portion of another (8 ) step forwards, thrusting into the belly of the next one, twist that blade and slash it through him (9) and step through spinning and slashing the next two in the way, twice across the upper torso, sending them to the side as well (10 & 11). By this time, I had taken enough attacks for my dark barrier to be compromised and I no longer held the dark tinted bubble about my form. The rain would find its way to my body as I continue to fight against those about us. I would turn to see all three golems, still animated though damaged and battling against an opponent each, all of whom, they would eventually overpower and maul (12, 13, 14). With two more left in this group, I would throw both blades at short range, striking them in their backs just between their multiple limbs, where as two of the golems would retrieve my blades, ripping them from the downed bodies (15 & 16) and returning to my side to recoup.

I could hear his golems fighting behind me, and was rather irritated that he would chose to let them get so close. For me, I would take the easier, safer route, and just focus on letting them die at a range. The amount of lower level demons that would emerge from the right side would dwarf the ones previous. I had little that I could do in close combat, especially since I didn’t want to waste the energy required to use any of those massive close combat abilities. With that in mind, my body would twist and fly up and over the human, Ingel. Landing on the top of the flipped Enforcer’s side panel, my right arm would extend once again. I hated to use another flashy attack, especially when Domen had so many cool things he could do. Maybe I didn’t really need them, but ya know, it would be nice to have something new every once in a while. Taking a look over to the golems, I recognized the same attack pattern that he had used against me. If it had been that effective against a spirit of my level, then those lower level critters were toast. I had no doubt that he would dispose of them quickly. I continued to watch for a moment before noticing that his bubble burst. Oh.. how sad. I smiled at the sight of him actually getting wet. “spirit of the heavens, spark and burst.” The lamps would flicker before their bulbs shattered. Drawing electricity from the surrounding area, my breathing would slow down to give myself the energy required to perform this technique again. The mob was close enough to the street where a decent attack would be possible for them. Before they could get there though, I would counteract. My right arm would fly up, fingers spread towards the heavens, before balling into a fist and being thrust down towards them. The yellow and blue balls of energy would scream across the ground around the before the group split up. When they sparked and burst, the energy was enough to take out the majority of their members. Screams would accompany the sound of beautifully crackling lightning. The destruction to the terrain was once again over killed’ as the houses were slowly being pushed in from not one, but two hall of the thunder king. My left arm would move outwards, sending three strong bolts across the ground to finish off the rest. It was like shooting chickens in a barrel. Such an easy way to kill them, I almost felt bad for all of it. I had tried to communicate earlier, and they didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say. With no word from Domen, I wondered how he was doing, and how many of them he had killed with his golems. Wait.. wasn’t that cheating if he didn’t kill them himself? “31!!”

"Hey, wait a minute here..." I say, dispersing the thin chain of electricity. "That yokai..." My eyes quickly localize and settle upon the strange sight within the distance. Much unlike the other ones that had actually attacked us, this one had been fleeing. It didn't seem that anymore would really congregate around us. It was a nice slaughter, but obviously, not all of these guys were bad. Say, my actions were only in rebuttal to the offensive nature of the opposition. Can't say that I'm going to clean any of this up, though. My point is that little guy over there did quite a favour for me. He probably didn't really see me seeing as he had chosen to run. "Qualude!" I call, beginning towards him in a short jog.
Melding out from his shadow my hand extends forth, clinging fimrly onto the collar of his current vestment. With weary eyes I look towards him. The weariness likely originated from the attempt at running. "Qualude." My voice isn't within an exclamation this time. In fact, it was more within a plain tone to simply poke at his attention. As if it already hadn't been literally grabbed.

Within an instant brief, fleeting, the prickling enmity tincturing their environment ostensibly dwindled. His own fleeing physique proved a catalyst for the shift in their tender, fictile atmosphere. The hollers of the very female responsible for the instillation of his fright spawned a bewilderment that would not hesitate to engender an obligation to cast a rearward glance overtop a shoulder. A phantasmal flick flickered before his minds eye, exhibiting a scene with him tracing an aimless path throughout Arden. It was that very name he had been dubbed with. A large and crude demon had referred to him as such and without time’s notice, he had become this creature’s assistant.
She was pursuing him now. It could hardly be distinguished as a pursuit for it would scarcely amount to much of one. Almost immediately, the yokai encountered an abrupt, spirit-jarring halt as the girl took hold of his vest. Damn vest… Once more, his name had been called a second time, however lacked the accent provided by her previous shout. It was akin to a nigh disciplinal tone, exacting and firm. Perhaps a frightened, wide-eyes face would fall within the girl’s view. Such was most appropriate for his innocence and impuissance were doubtlessly he most defining characteristics; though, this had not been the case. Instead, he presented an expression conflating vexation and anticipation of the worst possible outcome.
His brows found themselves heavy, drawing a ferocity to his eyes. Clearly, they possessed a daunting task – masking the obvious fear his limbs were now snarled within. “T-that’s what my boss calls me…” Qualude stuttered while attempting to grab hold of the girl’s arm. Of course, his hands could only pass through her like a true spectre's. “How do you know that name..!”

Well it seems that the battling has begun and there is nothing more to do than just fight back. Though she couldn't do much, it was quite hard to see these creatures that were out and about. She merely lifted her hand to her neck and fumbled with the collar around her neck that gave her a different outfit at the press of a button. "My, the dangers you boys get into." she said as a tease toward's Micheal who stayed inside while the others were outside firing. Pressing the button her outfit changed in an instant as she was in something much more comfortable, though this time her helmet was down. "Much more suitable..." she uttered as she pulled out her Nutek pistol and pulled out it's magazine to check if it's loaded and then putting it back into the gun as she cocked it. The energy signals that were around them were rather easily felt since they were near by. She would wait for now.

"Well, yeah..." I begin, baffled slightly because of the ignorance of this subject. "That's where I got the name, anyways. Your boss." Had he gone completely fey? Or were all demons this fickle? Strange. And last time I'd seen him he had been able to manifest in this realm. My curiosity had been quirked exceptionally. I didn't know much about these things; did I look like a damn shaman? "But you did me quite a bit of a favour..." I would have patted him on the head, but it would be fruitless anyways. It didn't seem as though he had completely phased into this realm. Raising my other hand I stand my thumb erect to symbolize a thumbs up. "So you're safe with me." Returning to my standing position I begin towards the group. I look at the familiar 'stepping on someone's heart like a pancake'. My brow furrows. "Ugh, disgusting." I comment bitterly.

Another large explsoion springs to life in front of me, forcing me to bring my arms up and block my face once again. After a moment longer I finally lower my arms, my attention quickly shifting to another as I heard an unfamiliar voice. Turning my gaze to Domen I glance over him for a moment before looking to the television screen. " I don't really know anything about him aside from he started broadcasting. " Turning my attention I glance to Sanzo and watched as he launched into an attack I remember very well. With in mere moments my attention is taken away from the two demons and to the approaching demons. " Shit. " I grunt lightly at the new roadblock to come up and slow me down. Since it seemed the two demons had turned there attention tot he new comers I decided for my own sake it would be better if I did the same rather then run for my life. Though, intead of fighting in the same direction the two demons are, I turn to the opposite side of the street and glance down at the approaching groups of demons. Gazing at the approaching demons I bring up my assault rifle, taking aim at one of the closest demons and take aim at the demon before opening fire. Taking aim at the demons head I give the trigger a quick pull and firing off a round that turns the demons head into pieces of bone and brain. As the body of the dead demon falls to the ground I shift to another approaching demon. " Fucking demons.. " I grumble lightly as I pull the trigger once again. The round rips through the demon's chest, ripping the life from it along with pieces of flesh and blood. As the second one falls I shift my gaze, scanning the approaching demons for a moment as I tighten my grip on the fore grip on the front of my assault rifle, slipping my finger onto the trigger of my grenade launcher and give it a squeeze. There is a 'thunk' as the grenade is launched for the under slung grenade launcher. The grenade moves through the air and comes land, striking the ground in the middle of three approaching demons and as it hit it explodes, the force of the explosion sending the three demons flying in different directions. The grenade didn't have the exact effect I wanted it to have, though I knew it did a deal of damage and I could tell since they began to stagger and try to get to there feet. Turning to one of the demons as it begins to climb back to its feet I release the fore grip and reach into my coat, to my side and grip one of my pistols and pull it from its holster. Pulling the pistol out I take aim at the demon and fire off a single round, sending the demon back to the ground as the remnants of his life leave him. Turning to the other two, I do the same, shooting the both of them in rapid succession to end there life as well. With the three demons dead I turn my gaze back to the rest, my gaze quickly shifting to one of the demons as he rushes at me with a crowbar. As the demon gets close to Ingel it takes a swing at him with his crowbar. As the demon takes a swing at me I focus and call forth a burst of speed and in a blink of an eye I move to the side, evading the attack from the demon. After evading the attack from the demon I take aim at him with my pistol and open fire, shooting two rounds into him. The demon having missed Ingel begins to turn to face him but as Ingel shoots him he is forced to take steps back though the attack from Ingel seems to have little effect on him as he begins to charge Ingel again and takes another swing at him. As the demon takes another swing at me, I again call forth a burst of speed and evade his attack before taking aim at him with my pistol and firing two more rounds into the demon's chest. With the next two rounds from Ingel's gun the demon falls to the ground lifeless. As the demon falls to the ground I slip my pistol back into its holster at my side. Before I can turn my attention back to the horde of demons I am caught off guard as one of the demons strikes me. The strike from the demon sends me hurling back and to the ground, my grip on my assault rifle failing and it flying from my hand. After knocking Ingel away the demon comes upon him quickly, lifting the baseball bat above his head as he looks down at Ingel with rage in his eyes. Looking up at the demon as he lifts his bat I begin to panic some, bringing up a foot I kick him in the leg to knock him off balance before rolling over and beginning to move away, climbing back to my feet. Recovering quickly from the attack, the demon is upon Ingel in a matter of seconds as he begins to move away and takes a swing at him with the bat like Ingel was a baseball. The bat hits Ingel in the side and knocks him a few feet to the side. As the bat hits me in the side I let out a grunt of pain, the armor doing little to protect me from the blunt force trauma since it was designed to protect against bullets. Coming to a rest on my back once again I look to the demon as he again approaches me. As the demon approaches I reach to the holster on my left leg, taking a hold of the grip of my SG25 and pull it from its holster before lifting it and taking aim at the demon. I didn't take much time to aim, instead I just pulled the trigger, firing both rounds from the SG25. The shotgun fires off both rounds that exit the two barrels and as soon as they make contact with the demon they knock him back as they rip into his chest, killing him almost instantly. Coughing lightly I look past the dead demon and to the others approaching, " Damn.. " I say before glancing away, my gaze falling upon the enforcer. Climbing to my feet I begin to move, running over to the enforcer. Coming to the enforcer, I climb up on top of it, not paying attention to the demon it it. Moving to the passenger door I pull it open before glancing down into the enforcer, glancing around before my gaze falls upon what I sought. Reaching into the enforcer I grab the SRT03 sniper rifle I had brought with me and pull it from the enforcer and shut the door. Turning my gaze back to the demons I glance around as I bring up the sniper rifle, pressing the stalk against my shoulder as I flip up the guards on the scope. After flipping the guards up I gaze through the scope. It took only a moment before I picked out one of the approaching demons. Pausing for a moment I watch the demon through the scope, " Guide my hand.. " I say before drawing in a deep breath and holding it. Holding my breath I focus on the target and everything else seems to fade away, the only thing before me is the target which seems to be moving slower then before. After a moment longer I finally take the shot, though my first shot wasn't aimed at the demons head, instead at his leg. The bullet strikes the demon in the leg causing him to lose his balance as he charges and sends him tumbling forwards. As the demon comes to rest on the asfault from the first shot I shift to it's head and give the trigger another squeeze. As the demons head bursts into pieces I finally exhale and take another breath as I shift to another target. Shifting to the next demon I took aim at his head and drew in a deep breath, holding it as I focused on him before taking the shot. I watched through the scope as the demons head went from being a solid mass to being a mass of chunks and liquid. Lowering the rifle I glance around for a moment and sigh lightly, I still had something I needed to do, though I knew I couldn't just leave things how they are here.

What was Kyouko doing, standing there and speaking with that green creature. I would have to have Hyaica go in and use her white flames. My eyes flickered over to her, and she knew my mind then. I would then start walking over towards Kyouko with my umbrella, tilting head head at the small green creature as I heard it's strange name. Or at least to me, Qualude, was rather strange name. Something that belonged to some sort of video game. I would shrug as I trusted that Hyaica was taking care of those beasties. Once I reached Kyouko's position I would chant a bit to get my stamina back. I was about ready to fall at that point.
"A final request, goddess, keep the weariness away."
Hyaica would smile just a bit, she already knew what Sakura would order. She would raise her arm, already halfway between Kyoko and Qualude (since she'd had the intent to smash that little being's head in), and would turn to face the final eight and would wave her hand out. White flames would engulf the opponent and then another hot wave of holy looking flames, despite her being that of a Onikonjou. She was just a very heavenly looking one, that was all. After dispatching the enemies, she would follow after Sakura, wondering what would become of that little being known as Qualude.
I wondered what was up with the one who was our other vaspire- was he not going to fight? Had he tired out mentally instead of physically? I would have to ask him or wait for an explain to this, as I would smile at the girl as I turned to face that demon with a neutral look on my face. I would offer Kyouko her umbrella, which I had picked up.

It seemed that they were down to the final wave of attackers. But Nagi's mind was on something else. Though he could not see the sky, he could tell what was happening. He could feel it in his skin. It wouldn't be long now, before he would change. He had not transformed in a while for wanting to test out his Vaspire abilities fully. But tonight would be uncontrollable change, and he would welcome everything that came with it.
