Due to a report in increased demonic activity from the forests I find myself positioned near the outskirts of the city in the Eastern Gothstone area. Of course, the city had its defenses against such things in this area, but brass wanted a sergeant near the area in case there was a breech. Lately activity had been on the rise and several new and much larger and bolder demons were starting to rear their heads. More importantly than that, my new telephone had succeeded in pissing me the hell off as I could not understand how to sync my calendar with my computer in the office.
With a sigh, I toss the mobile device softly into the passenger seat and then lean my head back onto the leather seat of my black sports luxury sedan. My head rocks softly to the side as I gaze out at a starry night sky with a three quarters moon glowing over the city. I recline in the passenger seat with my legs slightly cocked open on both sides of the steering wheel in a pair of black slacks, with a black Div12 t shirt and chest holsters, with my opened overcoat covering much of my frame. With a slight frown, I recall that I never did like full moons, and now that I worked in the aspect that I did, full moons would be like my Mondays since the strongest demon types reported liked to come out then. Sound comes from my earpiece and the phone glows from the passenger seat as a voice speaks to me. “Sergeant Asei, there is reported spiritual activity in your area.” I answer back, “I’m on it.” My finger rises up and presses the end call button on my earpiece as I give a soft grunt-sigh coming up as it was time to get to work. My arm reaches behind the passenger seat and grabs the stock of a shotgun before I open the passenger door and step out. 332

It's been quite sometime since she was last in the city. these pass three days had been tragically hectic for her since the rise in activity had occured due to some legendary beast being unleashed. Foolish beings to what end will they go into trying to obtain ultimate power. Truly not really something she wanted to do. She was being cautious on her way back home. She was feeling aches all over her body, the cloths she had went in, which were traditional monk's cloths, a mix of orange and red. She made her way back through the forest. Being catuious as she would hide behind trees every so often whenever she saw a spitirual being in the area. she made it by rather well since the ones she had passed by lacked in the sensing area. but then there were some that appeared to be rather good, but relied upon other things such as movement, or body heat and such. But for the moment it was a good thing she hadn't run into those yet. she wasn't sure if she would last in a fight against those kinds of demons. It was night time as well, plus the full moon is out so she had to take extra caution in moving throughout the forest she didn't want to end up meeting up with one of those demons that got stronger in this kind of setting. She held her monks space, The Death of Love, tightly within her left hand

Of course the city wouldn’t have a fence around it or anything, since that would mean there was something to protect it from. The type of protection provided by the Division was of the invisible type using people such as myself. A seasoned Division 12 officer, I didn’t have much going for me other than my sharp senses and ability wielding a weapon. Luck had been on my side much of my rise to my current position since I did not hold the ability of many of my cohorts. Instead of a fence, the high way bordered the city, a grand loop around the place. This high way, was of course elevated in most areas being a ‘high’ way and all, as one should be. Beneath this high way would be what’s beneath almost any highway: a slummish type cement district between support pillars where homeless people often come to build shanty houses or sleep temporarily.
Away from the black sedan on chrome rims I stroll as I make my way through an area that seemed to break off from being urban. By this time, the shotgun had been slung around my shoulders and was being worn in a diagonal fashion across my back with my two pistols in their normal positions holstered beneath my underarms at upper rib level. The concrete of the city borders the grasslands leading out into the forests with a few access roads heading out towards corporate property, but no real main roads into the forest area. There was no real need to get the exact coordinates of the beast since I would be able to sense it. If all else failed, I would have the co ordinates already sent to me in my phone… I pause for a moment walking away from the car. Turning around, I head back to the car, open the door, lean in, and grab the phone from the passenger’s seat. Standing back up, coming from within the car, I close the door, turn, and place the phone in my pocket, proceeding in the direction that I needed to go. Back to the internal dialogue, I feel a small fry in the distance rummaging too close to the land of the living.
I continue walking for about a block beneath this area of the city’s edge, beneath the highway, when I come upon the demon. This was one of the types that did not appear before normal humans and due to the fact that it did not sense me, I could assume it was of a lower order. It looked like a normal dog and its head was down as it feasted upon the body of another unfortunate Yokai. If left alone, these types could continually devour one another until they became a problem. Eventually, within a few meters of the thing, it notices my presences and its head rises up appearing as a normal Doberman with three eyes; two where they were supposed to be and one in the middle. All three eyes blink at once as it looks to me panting with blood, guts and bile dripping from its muzzle. It bares its teeth and growls slightly turning its about around to me as I come to a stop. Reaching behind my back, my hand comes to my shotgun as I inform, “it’s time to put you down lassie.” 561

She had came to a sudden halt when she noticed a creature ahead of her. It looked like some sort of wierd and twisted worm demon. Izumi merely stopped moving as she held a serious look upon her face. "great...a worm..." she mumbled as she looked around and hid behind a tree. She began to peek from the side of the tree and watch the giant demon worm wriggle around a tree and wrap around it. When it did spike's protruded out from it and into the tree and it crushed the tree and released this wierd hissing noise from the opening in it's head which can be considered it's mouth. the spikes began to spin around it's body like a saw and then disappear into the body of the demon worm. "ewww..." she shivered and mumbled to herself as she looked just a smidge worried. "this isn't good. I won't how it sees." she looked around for something and loked to the ground seeing some rocks. she would kneel down and grab a rock and then throw it off to the side. The worm quickly turns it's head to where the rock landed. "okay... it can hear.."

There is a moment in the stand off as I stand at a distance from the demonic canine loading the shells into my shotgun. Bounding towards me in a leap, it thrusts itself towards me. My body shifts and my right foot steps back as the gun is cocked and releases a loud resounding bang followed by a sharp yelp inaudible to most humans. To a normal bystander it would look like I was shooting a bug on the ground, or something to that nature. Looking down, I am able to see the broken body of the dog that was repelled from me a foot or two, its body damaged from the shell and my ability to imbue my weapon to affect the spiritual. Its body begins to fade away in spirit particles and I sling the shotgun back around my back where it rests passively. Placing my hands in my pockets, I look up as the dog’s spirit fades away. “That was easy,” I remark before looking around and reaching for my phone. “And next…” I murmur as my hand reaches into my pocket, retrieving my phone. Looking through it, I attempt to get the Div12 application to run on it so that I could see what area I needed to go to next, but unsure of what a Navtype RS Domain was I find myself once again working on activities that would frustrate me. “Hmm…,” I reiterate in a low murmur meaning, ‘stupid technological device.’ 247

the loud echoing sound of the shotgun had reverbed to her location and it caught the attention of the demonic worm. Izumi merely blinked and arched a brow as she crouched down watching from where she was hiding. "What was that?" she asked herself. Kind of a stupid question when she knew it was a gunshot, but it was more so asking who was shooting the shotgun and what for. Izumi would look to the worm that was gazing off in that direction, which happened to be where she needed to go. "it would be bad if the thing headed for the city." she mumbled as the worm began to make it's move that way. "crap..." Izumi would begin to move and the worm's speed would begin to pick up. it was a quick giant demon worm. Izumi would give chase, the giant demon worm was the size of a regulat four door sedan and was as long as a bus. It was lookin rather slimey and has spaces along it's boy where spike's would protrude out from it' body. The head indicated by the opening at one side of the worm's body is always open and while the spikes aren't protruded they pint inward in the body and are always rotating like a blender in which it eats by devouring whatever it wants whole and blends it int a liquid state in which it was easily digest whatever it wants. Izumi was chasing behind the giant demon worm. For some reason it didn't bother stopping to attack her, it was probably more interested into what the larger sound was.

As I tinker with the phone, I look up for a moment and pause. It felt like something was heading to me for that moment, but that feeling goes away as soon as it came. Because of that, I am unable to get a good reading. It was something that’s been happening relatively recently. Somehow I gained the ability to sense when something was off. I figured it was just a heightened sense of paranoia, but it seemed to be on mark some times. The only bad thing about it was that it wasn't something that was one hundred percent reliable. Shrugging it off as I continue to loiter beneath the dark shadow of the night beneath the bridge area, I look back down to my phone and just press buttons. Suddenly there is a blip on it that said there was something heading my way. Another "hmm..." comes out as it didn't seem to be anything higher ordered, which was always semi deceptively good. 165

Probably by now the sound of the worm just burrowing the ground it shreded over would be coming to ear. The sounds were light, though the demon looked so heavy. Izumi was still behind it and looking a little annoyed. As she ran though she would bend over grabbing a rock with her free hand and continue running after the creature. She would toss the rock in attempts to get the creatures attention but the rock merely bounced off the body of the beast and it continued. It most likely sensed something rather tasty. Did this demon eat humans? Or metal? or something else all entirely who knows but one things for sure. It had to die. Izumi would growl to herslef a moment as she would look around her for anything that could be of use to grab this things attention and it was pretty fast for something of it's size. Izumi in her calmed state wouldn't be able to catch up to it, but she didn't want to activate her inner powers with the off chance that she could be seen. she would try again with another rock this time, her rock didn't hit the beast but it just flew right past it, and landed into the opening where the trees ended and the sight to the city would begin.

I stand looking out towards the forests, the city to my back, with the cell phone lowered in my right hand as I get a familiar inner ping telling me that something was coming or on the way. Since it was dark, I would not be able to see anything against the shadow of the forest, but I knew that I didn’t want whatever that was coming to enter into the city. The wind presses through my large coat and bangs slightly as I attempt to be still to get a good reading on where it was coming and which direction I should go in order to encounter it. I knew that it would be easier to simply dispose of it in the fields that rest between the forest and the city. However, it seemed like whatever was coming was coming fast. Deciding to go ahead and get ready to battle something, my body leans forwards and I pick up a run as I begin to make my way towards the interior of the surrounding grasslands. Whatever it was, I would met it half way, take it out, then go and get some donuts and coffee at the nearby shop. 200

"Damn this thing won't slow down." she would continue to give chase and whatever ti was after had began to move. Izumi though she was getting closer until the beast rose up into the air and then bashed into the ground. To izumi's ears she heard a rumble and then a heavy drilling sound. She skidded to a stop slamming her spade into the ground to stop herself from free falling into the whole. "It can burrow..." she said in a sort of disbelief moment. "greeeaaat...." she said with sarcasm and looked around. "I wonder what it's after." she would utter and pull her spade out from the ground and take it with her as she went around the large whole and burst out into a full blown run. Underground it seemed to move a lot faster then it did above ground since it had a bunch of trees to get past. Izumi would run quickly through the forest and eventually she would come to an opening where the forest would stop and there would be a clearing. But when she got there, she saw nothing, well the darkness didn't help much. But even in the darkness seeing ahuge shadow would be noticable. But even the worm wasn't above ground. Was it still below ground? or did she just lose track of it?

I continue to run away from the city and towards the forests as I come near the middle of the grasslands. I stop for a moment as I feel something like the ground was rumbling. I could tell that I was near where the spirit was. It would be annoying if this was actually a strong one and I came out here alone. Still, I was sure I had enough bullets to at least turn the thing back around. It was pretty bold to come out here all the way from the forest, but as a Division 12 sergeant, I would be ready for him. My body tenses slightly I lower my stand and look around. I notice something in the distance that seemed to hold a humanoid figure with some type of weapon in its hand. At that moment, I figure that I must either have mistook the spirit for a lower order when it was really a higher order, or there was another spirit vigilante around out here on the case. Not wanting to be brash and start shooting, and unaware at where the spirit went, since I didn’t see it, I stand up straight and look out towards the silhouette waving my arm and giving a sharp whistle. If it was demonic, it would come after me and I could shoot it, if it was normal, then it would probably try a means of communication. 238

She would continue to look around for a while. she felt the hairs on the back of her neck jsut begin to rise. This odd sense of paranoia was just aweful when you know it's around but you just can't see it. she held onto her spade with a good firm grip as she looked around. What caught her attention was a whistle. which caused her to turn her head to where the whistle had come from. she tried to look in the dark, but it wasn't helping much since all she could make out was another sillouhette. "crap..." she uttered to herself. "Hey you! you have to get out of here now!" she would yell out to the person. Another rumble occured this time it was stronger. Clearly it was a sign that the demon worm was in the area. Izumi blinked as she looked towards the ground and she brought her spade in front of her and was holding it with two hands. "you better get moving now!" she ordered out as she looked around for where the worm could possibly be coming up from.

‘I had better get out of here?’ I think to myself, ‘I get paid for this shit.’ Still if some nut wanted to take out a spirit, that was no issue to me. The only bad part would be if that nut failed and then I had to take it out anyway… wait. The voice had come pretty clear in the night air. There were a few things odd about it. The first, previously mentioned, was that it told me to go ahead; the second odd thing would be that the voice was female and the third odd thing was that I knew who’s voice it was. “Izumi?” I call out in a questioning tone just as I felt the ground begin to shake. I look down with a variation of what could be referred to as my spidey sense as it starts to tingle. Looking back up from the ground I question, “what are you doing in the middle of no where in the middle of the night?” After thinking about my words, I was ashamed to say the same thing could be asked of me in this odd coincidence, but I didn’t know she was a demon huntress as well. 202

The voice had responded and Izumi istantly recognized it as Jyn. Crap... now i'm even more restricted in what i can do. I was hoping to be alone on this. She thought to herself. Izumi had looked over to were Jyn's voice was coming from. Right now wasn't really the time to be asking questions. the ground began to rumble stronger. "Well right now isn't the right now, sir!" She yelled out as from the center of the ground it rumbled stronger and soon the ground began to crack and the demon worm shot out from beneath the ground with a loud demonic roar. Rocks began to fall in all direction. Izumi would swing her spade to knock any rocks that came her way. The boss battle had just begun and the players take the stage, life bars are filled and the battle begins.

The rumbling gets more intense and I defensively take a step back. There is another internal ping as I feel the position as a pre warning of where the creature would attack. Izumi was right, I would have to wait for a better time to get my questions in. By the light of the moon I was able to catch a glimpse of her, so I would also question her attire after this interruption. My body shifts backwards a in a short leap, and soon the ground explodes with what appears to be a large worm spirit lingering about with rocks and debris descending its form. My right hand pockets my complicated phone before both hands move to the butts of the pistols encased in my chest holster. My open coat is displaced as I pull both weapon out and pull them forwards, dual wielding them and standing my ground on one side of the large demon. The life bar fills over my head at 100% with my limit gauge at zero. It would seem that I held the highest react since I would have the first attack. There is a ting ting noise as my invisible cursor shifts to attack and I fire a single shot with both weapon at the large worm giving off a resounding echo. 219

The first move had been made and the worm reacted with jiggly type movements indicating that Jyn's shot's did indeed make contact with the worm. another ting had occured as Izumi's invisible action bar had been filled. She was on the opposite end of the demon worm. she came running along that backside, if it had one, and she jumped across adding a spin while holding her space out so the shovel end would slice at the body of the demon worm along with the backend when her spin was complete she would land on the oppsite end in which she would land facing the demon would and skidding to a halt.
the demon worm would wriggle again indicating that it had been hit by Izumi's attack. It made some wriggly movements and the ground began to rumble again and it seemed something was happening but not in sight. The worm somehow grabbed some rocks from the ground below allowed the rocks to move through the hind side of it's body through it's body up to it's mouth in which it would fire the rock like some sort of regurgatating rock throw towards Jyn.

It would seem that the weapon attack had done some good, but the demon was resilient. I find myself standing there as Izumi rushes up and attacks then moves back after dealing some damage. There is another rumble that I feel through the ground, but it is not readily apparent what it was. The creature reverse shits a sand stone and spits it out at me. It hits my body and breaks apart and after a moment, my body twitches and I fall on my back. ‘10% ‘ in red letters appear over my head and vanish. My legs come up and I spring off of my shoulders to my feet as I shake off the attack and lifts my weapons back up. There is one ting as I choose to defend in case of another attack, holding my arms over my upper body in a cross manner while taking a breather to compose from just being hit by a big ass rock. 163

Izumi looked over to Jyn seeing as he was hit by the rock. She merely blinked as she thought she saw numbers floating over his head. she shook her head as thought it off as a hallucination of the night sky. there goes that ting again, and it was Izumi's turn to attack. She looked towards the beast and ran towards it coming in close and skidding within range of her weapon and adding a spin so that the spade's shovel end would slash at the worm, after this she jumped back returning to the spot she one was.
The worm would wriggle about and when Izumi came to attack, it stiffed and the words 'Miss' floated above the demon worms head. It was now the worms turn to attack, and at thie point it began to rise and lower it's head doing nothing this round. words fluttered the bottom of the screen. "Demon worm is charging. 5"

The turns progress and I find that my pre-emptive guard was not needed, however, it did give me a bit of time to compose. I lower my guards and hold my pistols out and to the side gazing up at the large invertebrate that towered over my much smaller body with the starry sky as its background. By this time, my life gauge was showing a little bit of wear from my first hit, but a majority was in the green. My limit break gauge was increasing each turn and after a few back and forth turns I new that I should be able to unlock something. There are two tings and the selection is made for me to once again attack. Moving on with the normal attack, my guns raise in a dual wielding double shot that sends four rapidly fired bullet towards the belly of the earthbound creature with the gunshots reverberating in the night air. 158

The demon worm would wriggle three times as three of the shots hit and one of them, which the demon worm stiffened, missed. The worm continued to bob it's head up and down.
It was Izumi's turn now and she looked at the demon worm and saw that it was doing something funny. "Jyn becareful. It's doing something funny." Izumi gave her warning before she would make her attack like before she ran towards the worms backside and spin attacked it's back and landed on the other side.
the worm wriggled again to Izumi's attack, and it still continued to bob it's head up. "Demon Worm is charging. 4"

"Kuso..." I murmur lightly noting that one of my shots were off. Since it was no longer my turn, I would not continue to fire. Looking up across the dark grasslands, I hear Izumi's voice as she warns to watch out and that the worm was doing something. It seemed pretty obvious seeing as it was simply wiggling and not actually counter attacking. My guess was that it was charging for some type of attack that would be stronger than it spitting out a rock. After thinking about the delay it took to get that one rock out, I wonder if it was anally ingesting hundreds of rocks to power ejaculate orally at me repeatedly. Looking back to Izumi I just give a simple, "ok." She attacks and the worm does more of it's gyrations. When it comes back to my turn, I stuff the pistols into their holsters beneath my arm and reach back for my shotgun. Pulling it forth, it clicks twice and I squeeze the trigger letting out a resounding blast from my position beneath the worm aiming at its base. 184

The demon worm bended over backwards when the shotgun bullets hit. It seemed like it was super effective to the demon worm as it fixed it self and it stopped moved and was just aiming it's opening at Jyn. "Demon worms charging is interrupted."
It was Izumi's turn as he noticed that the shotgun blast seemed to have stopped it from doing what it was doing before. It was now her turn and this time Izumi ran for the demon worm and just jabbed her spade into the side of the demon worm and pierced it's flesh nice and deep. placing her foot upon the demon worm she took out her spade and returned to her spot.
The demon worms turn now and it was just resting there as it was bleeding from the side in which Izumi's attack had landed and had pieces of the side of it's head missing and it was bleeding from there as welll. It released a howl as it looked towards izumi and with a rumble like before it spat out a rock and shot it towards Izumi sending Izumi down to the floor. 6% the invisible red numbers floated above her as she stood up and grumbled about the rock hitting her.

It would seem that it liked the shotgun and I interrupted it from doing whatever it was planning; that was good. I hold the shotgun in my hand as Izumi deeply penetrates the worm's tender flesh causing it to drip slightly. After the thrust, the thing counters and orally ejaculates upon her in turn. My limit gauge fills by this point and I feel a vibration in my pants. I reach into my pocket with my right hand and pull my phone out, holding it to my ear. CGI begins; answering the voice on the other side, I explain "I'm trying, I'm trying" (yes, Crisis Core). There is the sound of blades chopping as an apache like helicopter comes from over the city with Division 12 in red letters on the side. With a cockpit view of the helicopter, a targeting system targets the worm. The turrets on both wings rotate as machine gun fire shoots down at the worm, then the howl and whistling of missiles are next as they strike down at the target with small explosions. After that, the helicopter flies off and the CGI ends. 189

the demon worm was hit by Jyn's limit break. As the CGI ended the demon worm was lazily lowering its head near the ground and just swinging back and forth seeming incapable of moving and suddenly it began to glow red as it was disappearing from the very existance and breaking apart into spiritual particles. It seemed that this limit break seemed to have taken care of the demon worm. The battle was over and the characters took this victory stances and the screen would change as the exp was distributed to each of the players. The battle was over now. Izumi merely caught her breath as she dropped to her knees holding herself up by her monk's spade. She was gazing towards the large opening in the ground and then looked towards Jyn. Well it's been quite sometime since she had last saw him so she figured it was a good thing to see him again.

My right hand shifts back into my pocket placing the phone there as I look up at the after math of the strike. Cautiously, I prepare to move back anticipating the worm to fall yet it simply hangs there for a while before fading away into spirit particles. The victory fan fare starts and both of my hands come to the gun as I rotate it around army fashion before slinging it around my back with the strap clutching my shoulders and the gun coming to rest diagonally. Crossing my arms, I look off and to the side with my arms folded as the camera rotates around me slowly with a high pitched chiming calculating my exp in the background. God presses the X button and the music fades away and things return to normal, leaving me there in the night atmosphere with Izumi.
Looking up, I notice the slump as she holds herself up with some type of pole arm. I make my way towards her at a brisk jog, slowing down and standing over her after reaching her. I found her attire as well as her weapon odd, but if she were coming from the forest, there was a chance that her family were forest dwellers who used traditional methods to combat demons. If that were so, this young lady would have more layers to her than an onion. Breaking the ice, I assure, “are you okay?” as I crouch on one knee to her side. I needed that out of the way before asking what she was doing out there alone like this. 266

Catching her breath she merely nodded her head as some rubble fell out from her hair. "Yes, I'm fine. Just a little out of breath." she uttered as she merely took in a deep calming breath and released it slowly as she had gripped her monk's spade tightly. It was something just a bit different about her monk's space and it was intricately designed. The shovel portion of the blade was completely flat, but it's edge was jagged and shaped as in the center is what appeared to be some form of heart. along the edge of the shovel side were three rings on either sidepierced throug the shovel portion. The pole was a red colors pole which what appears to be shells embbeded into the red iron pole. the bottom of the pole looked like a cresent moon, the point as sharp as any katana. she wore what looked like a regular monk's outfit, of orange and red. slightly dirty now due to the rock that had hit her.

“That’s good,” I comment in a kind soft tone looking over her placing my hand into the side pockets of my large coat. I suppose she did have to move more than I did during the battle, and on top of that, she was simply a normal human woman, so it would make sense for her to be winded. I look around as the soft night air bustles through the top of the tall grass blades; I was not really seeing anything else at the moment in the form of a spiritual opponent. The presence of a large worm demon would probably have scared off anything that would have lingered this way, though generally yokai stuck to the safety of the forest. My gaze redirect to Izumi as I look back down at her and hold out a hand to assist her in standing if she wished to take the offer. Speaking in my usual calm voice, I inform, “I parked not to far from here. I can give you a ride back to your home if you like, so you can get cleaned up. That is, assuming you’re returning to the city… Are you back from your vacation yet?” 200

Taking his and she rose up to her feet and listened to what he had said. "I was on my way back actually." She said with a nervous smile. Walking for a entire day straight wasn't exactly a non-tiring thing you know. Especially without any food or water for most of the three days. She was hungry and was thirsty but she didn't permit for it to show. "i wouldn't exactly call me time off a vacation." she said as her gaze slowly shifted to the side as she was remembering some of the things she had to do, which was most definetly anything but relaxing and soothing.

After getting her to her feet, I take a step back and my hands return to my pockets. As she stands and talks, I motion towards the city, since she answered that she was on her way back. There was no reason to linger out here anymore, but I wouldn’t move unless she began to move towards the car. She didn’t look like she was in a huge hurry even after defeating the large worm creature and it wasn’t everyday that a young man got to stand in a starry field with a lovely young lady. Granted she was a slightly dirty young lady, but still pretty in normal Izumi fashion beneath the probably unflattering monk’s attire. “In that case,” I lead on, “it’s good to have you back. I didn’t figure you for the type to carry large bladed weapons. You caught me off guard out here like this.” 150

Merely blinking as she thought about his sentene about her spade. "It's not really a weapon, sir." she started out as she added. "It's actually a shovel. More preciesly it's amonk's spade which is normally used as a walking stick and a shovel to bury any dead the monk may come across in thier travels." She sort shifted her gaze to the side. "and it doubles as a weapon." she somewhat mumbled that sentence. "This had been in my family for many generations, its known as 'The Death of Love'" she said with a smile as she looked towards her monk spade and then she looked towards Jyn. "I guess you were on patrol in this area huh?"

“Oh,” I say as my secretary enlightens my eyes of understanding. It was a sharp and dangerous shovel, but then again, I had no reason not to believe that monks, in fact, used that type of shovel. Since I did not have a huge understanding and internal knowledge of traditional things and monks, I simply take her words for it, tilting my head slightly to the second part of what she said. It would seem to confirm the thought process that she was from a traditional family that held older views. It was common, since many families originated from the forest, but many of those families weren’t first generations for the city. In the long run of things, I wanted to get to know a bit more about my secretary and her personal life just to know her more as a person and this seemed to serve a portion of that purpose and even hints a bit on what might have had her at the mercy of the Vaspires in the previously transcending events. Still, I thought that it might show she didn’t fully trust me if there were things like this that she did not wish to talk about, even though this kind of thing didn’t come up in every day banter. Still, the death of love… that seemed like an interesting name for a weapon. With a nod, I confirm, “I am.” Reaching into my pocket, I find my phone in tact, gazing down at the screen. It was almost time for me to be assigned as off, though as a sergeant I had more of a luxury to create my own schedule. After the glance, the phone returns to my pocket as I looked up at Izumi. She didn’t seem like one to speak a lot, which was often awkward for me, since in my social interaction, I would prefer the other person to do most of the talking since I was a listening type. Questioning things a bit I ask, “You… wouldn’t happen to be on some type of patrol out here, would you?” 348

Shaking her head she answered him. "No, like I said, I was just returning home. It just so happened, that, that beast was venturing into this area. So I had to sop it from heading any further towards the city. It wouldn't be right for something of that stature to enter into the city and cause problems for those within the city. Its best to just kept the city thinking it's safe like it's always been." she uttered as her eyes ventured out towards the stars as she seemed more focused on that, then actually what she was saying which might possibly end up to talking a little bit more about herself and what she knew and what not.

The clear starlit skies continue to linger overhead as I stand in the grasslands with Izumi. With a soft nod, I speak, “I suppose you’re right… but me or someone else would have caught it before then.” I leave it at that, since that’s what the creation of the Division was for and I had a nice amount of pride in my job and what we did for the city. I would like to think that we did a good enough job with things, but that was probably a bit of bull headed stubbornness not wanting to see if and where the Division had its shortcomings. They had always been sufficient in the past, but things were getting worst in the city day by day; the Division would have to step up to the threat level.
Walking a bit closer and to her side, I look shift my gaze to the side as I come shoulder to shoulder with her facing the opposing direction of her. I continue, “I’m glad you’re back.” I allow there to be a slight pause before I continue, “I feel like I should know more about you. You seem to have a lot going on…”200

Izumi merely listened to im as she gazed at the starlit sky. It was quite true it would be possibly for someone else to have caught it before then, but then again the worm was capable of burrowing underground. So it could have easily slipped past them all. But the division did a good job in protecting the city so they would have taken care of the worm before it got to crazy.
Izumi smiled hearing that Jyn said that he was glad that she was back. She seemed happy to hear that. and his next sentence came in and she would respond. "I do? It doesn't seem like much to me." it was something Izumi was use to so to her it didn't look like she had much going on even though to Jyn it seemed like she had more going on with her then he knew. Izumi never really kept secrets, well she did keep a few but that was for personal reasons. but other then that, she never kept a secret rather she said what wasn't asked of her.

My gaze shifts to the side a bit to see the smile before it turns and looks to the side again. Hearing her words, I nod and comment, “so it seems to me.” Once again I find her answer difficult since it was just questioning my statement. I suppose to myself that I should probably justify my statement, “well, you’re good with computers, hardworking, an actress and now I find out that you’re some type of monk…” I pause for a moment and comment, “on top of that, you’re beautiful and kind natured.” After being quiet for a moment, I comment, “Izumi… working for me isn’t pulling you away from your life is it? Do you have a boyfriend or husband, or something to that nature?” 126

Listening to what Jyn said about the thing's that she's capable of doing she merely nodded and said nothing about it. But what he said next is what caused her to laugh. Her laugh was soft and sincere as she didn't mean it in any wrong way. She jsut sound that comment rather funny. "What makes you think I have something of that nature? I've been alone all my life." she said as her smiling gaze returned to the stars. She was thinking about why she was alone all this time and it was probably because of her parent's death that probably kept her alone like this. plus for most of her life she wasn't as beautiful as she was today, in fact most of her younger years she was recoverng from a bad accident that left her in bandages most of her life.

“Is that so?” I say in a thoughtful manner to the answer. To answer the question that was aimed back at me, I reiterate, “I only thought so because you seemed as if you would make a man very happy.” The way I meant it would be that she had all that was necessary to please a man be it looks, passion, or ability. It was unfortunate that she was alone all of her life, I would have thought that she would have had a boyfriend or two along the way; it seemed almost unbelievable assuming she had a normal upbringing, but then again, it didn’t seem as if she had a normal family life. Turning around, I look back towards the city watching it from afar. Under the darkness, the glow of the city seemed beautiful in a surreal manner and would probably be more magnificent from a longer distance. It is then that I realize that this was about as far away from the city that I had ever really ventured. 173

Izumi nodded her head as she lowered her head and azed towards the round. Her right foot began to move it in a circle softly as she held onto the monk's spade. "I was covered in bandages most of my life, so people avioded me a lot." she still had a smile upon her face as she was havin memories of her past flash in her mind. "So I never really had much of a chance for socialization with the opposite species to actually have a relationship and when I was finally free of the bandages I was already in my final year of college."

With a nod I take in these facts and wonder about the psyche she must have held from behind in isolation from others for so long due to the type of experience that must have been. Still, she was pretty open with me, so I figured that she was the type that wouldn’t talk about something unless it was brought up. Therefore, the reason I didn’t know about her was my own fault for not asking anything about her. I answer softly, “I see.” The next obvious question would come out, “so… do you like men?” I didn’t know what it would be like to be void of attention from the opposing sex for so long. Even though I didn’t receive that type of attention much these days, or at all lately with Shiori’s latest disappearance, I still had a pretty normal growing experience and held the concept and expectation of male and female interaction. 155

She giggled to his question and merely answered it like this. "It doesn't matter to me what the gender is, nor the species so long as love can be developed from it." It didn't bother her if it was boy or girl, or even demon or human or even spirit. If love can be found in it, it's alright with her. Her blue eyes shifted away from the ground as she brought her spde in front of her and she looked at it with a gentle smile upon her face.

Turning around, I look over my shoulder at her words. They were interesting to say the least. So with that, I could tell that she was extremely open. It could be a good thing, in fact some guy’s fantasy, but then again, it could have its repercussions as well. My face changes a bit, as I introspectively feel a bit lonely at her words. A relationship must be a hard thing to foster. It had been a while since I heard from Shiori and she had not been answering her phone, but I also knew that she was pretty busy. With a huff, I push that off and lift my gaze back up. Turning back towards the city, I ask, “shall we go? I can give you a lift to your apartment if you would like?” My shift was approaching the time when I would be off. I had lingered here a bit to play hooky, but I did get to learn a bit more about my secretary as well as get some fresh night air and exercise. 178

Izumi looked towards Jyn as she had smiled and nodded her head. "I've been ready to be home many hours ago." she blinked as she just noted that he said her apartment. "I dont live in an apartment." she said as she looked at Jyn tiltin her head slightly, wondering why he assumed she lived in an apartment. Has she ever indicated that she lived in an apartment? She turned just so she can face him slightly and she shifted most of her weight onto one leg as she had smirked. She had a pretty big house to herself, not an apartment.

I watch as she comes in front of me and smirks with that cute face of hers; she really needed to get out of the monk’s attire and into something that favored her body a bit better. With a blank expression noting that I was wrong in my assumption, I answer her, “oh… I’m sorry, I assumed wrong.” I look down over her for a moment as she stands in front of me and reiterate, “well, in that case, would you like me to drive you to your house?” A single woman in a house by herself? Something like that would seem like it would be a bit… lonely. She always seemed up beat and cheerful, so I figured that she was just the type to be able to handle something like that; she was a character indeed. 138

Izumi had nodded her head. "That would be really nice, sir." she said giving him a rather happy and pleasent smile. she personally wanted to get into her own shower and get out of these cloths. While they probably didn't seem attractive they were still important to her since they belonged to her mother and currently she wasn't wearin the sash that went with it that way it was tight to the body so it'll show her figure and look more attractive, she was tired and from her walk and had lon since hid it within her cloths. So it just looked like a regular monks outfit. "You certainly seem more wierd about talkin then other people, sir." she made a obversation and felt like saying it.

With the acceptance, I place my hands into my pockets and begin walking slowly towards the city with my legs pulling through the soft earthy ground and grassy terrain. I move slowly for her to walk with me not wanting to seem to hasty in my walking away, though she did mention she had been ready to go for a while. When she speaks again, the observation catches me off guard and causes me to blush slightly due to the fact that it was true but embarrassing to be said like that. I knew I was like that, but it was just one of those things. Still, it was kind of cute the way she added “sir” with it. My lifted level gaze stays forwards aimed towards the city as I clear my throat and answer, “um… yeah.” I didn’t know really how to respond to it. I continue, “I suppose I’m like that. Does it bother you?” 158

Izumi would walk up right next to him and she shook her head and merely smirked. "No not at all. It just seems to give away the kind of person you are and what sort of past you had. Well probably my assumptions could be wrong, but I'm merely reading the way you act, talk and move." She said as she gazed ahead and saw the city. She still held a smile onto her face she seemed rather happy to be back, she had been awaiting her life back home and her want to continue her work and do what she did. Izumi would look towards Jyn. "You know it's always good to see the city after being secluded for so long." Izumi was a knowledgable person and she was one that was capable of reading people only be the way they acted and talked and made assumptions by it. It didn't mean she was right, she just makes guesses and it was really up to the person to tell her if she's right or wrong. It didn't bother her either way though. It was an entertaining thing to do and sometimes was kind of funny when she was able to figure people out without having to ask them a ton of questions.

My gaze shifts to the side as she speaks for that moment, then looks back to the front as I continue to walk slowly by her side enjoying her company for the time being. I nod a bit at her observations of me figuring internally along the lines of, ‘so that’s is it…’ After the pause and the second statement comes, it is co signed by another nod. I admit, “I wouldn’t know what that is like. I’ve never left the city. In fact this is probably the furthest away I’ve been from it since I’ve never really gone into the forests. I’ve always been told it was an off limits area, so it never interested me to go there.” Something of a smirk comes to my face as I remember something scary and in deciding to tease her a bit, I lead on, “you know, I actually had a dream about you while you were gone.” Of course, she was a raving lunatic psycho in the dream… 168

Her thoughts came to a halt as the world seemed to have puased for a moment and things began to change as she was having a out of time and space conversation within the deep depths of her mind. "wait...what?" she stood up in this odd thought process and rambled on. "What did he just say!?" She sounded sort of freaked. "did he have a dream about me? Oh my god!" Everything returned to normal and the time began to flow normally as Izumi had stopped moving as this did seemed to have caught her attention as she was blushing as well. "What...?" was all she said.

There was a slight pause before the questioning ‘what’ came. Of course I couldn’t tell her that I had a paranoid illusion of her trying to kill me after becoming a Vaspire. That would go against the trust and report that I was currently building with her. Now I had a pretty good understanding that she probably wasn’t a Vaspire since she did not seem inherently evil. The thought of my dream’s contents did not even come to me until after thinking about it; I had totally forgotten, when I saw her, that I had suspected her for such a thing. Thus, instead of explaining the dream clearly to her to dash away any misunderstandings that may be caused by telling a woman ‘I dreamt about you’ I simply continue what I thought of as teasing as I answer vaguely, “I said I had a dream about you in your absence. Do you find that odd?” I continue to walk casually as if what I said had been perfectly normal. 170

She merely blinked as he just kept continuing to walk on. "Huh?" she said and quickly walked up after him. "Hey! that is rather odd to be dreaming about another." Izumi said with a slightly pouting and anoyed look her cheeks a little huffed as she gripped onto her spade and began to turn it slowly as she was now staring at the pole she held in her hands.
