Site Event - Manifest Destiny Location: Western Forests (somewhere near the edge of the forest several miles outside the city to the north) Time: Late night / Early Morning
Post 1: The lights from the city can be seen from the forest line. The cityscape is dark like a dimly lit silhouette against the dark skies. The deep gray skies are filled with clouds and moderate rain that falls down over the city. At the city everything is relatively quiet with the muting sound of the rain fall and soft rolling thunder. Most of the city is sleep, office lights are off in the large skyscrapers that litter the metro, and night lights set dots in the burbs. Water drips from awnings. Hobos take refuge in alleys beneath covered shanty houses and the drug dealers decide not to sell drugs, canceled due to weather.
This night, two demons float in an alternate realm with a portal of the city in the background. One that looks like a little girl pets a small black cat that rests in her lap. She sits casually Indian style in the air. She looks at a stone alter in the center of the two. The demon, a pale skinny male with purple tribal markings and white and mixed hair, rests his elbows on the stone alter with a smile. A screaming body is strapped to the stone alter. It writhes in pain. Bandage tape with rune markings and small odd symbols covers its head, face, upper torso and right arm. Only its mouth and lower face can be seen. It screams but no voice comes out. The male demon, Imorte, speaks.
"All done. Now let's go send it to play."
Krys looks up and smiles.
Moments later a walking corpse walks into City Metro. It doesn't register on the barrier until it's right in front of the Division 12 HQ. Alarms go off and soon the body is surrounded by roughly 12 agents and a van pulling up. The man's body and face is covered in bandages. It looks around and yells randomness.
"The end is near!... They're coming for it all!... don't allow them to awaken the six pillars! Hell manifests on earth."
He continues to rant. The yelling isn't exactly understandable. The only thing understandable is something about a Forrest. He is answered with normal very understandable cop talk:
"Sir! Lie on the ground with your hands behind your head, or we will take you out!"
There is no prior warning. The time is up, the bandages activate and the male explodes. The explosion is very large and takes out the squad surrounding him. The street, parking lot, and Division 12 HQ is damaged and the City Metro barrier system goes off line. Action: It's raining, it's pouring, an old man is snoring and there was an explosion somewhere in the city. Rules come as I need them o.o

Current Location: Arden, Onitoshi
Asleep in my chambers at the compound, I awaken to mass clamor of demons and dark kami outside and I telekinetically open my door. One of the dark kami looks at me and I inquire as to why they are making so much noise. He tells me that Onitoshi is buzzing about another explosion in the city. I ask how long ago it happened and he tells me that the independent intelligence network that surveys the city just reported it. Wow, I guess big news travels fast. I ask him why everyone is so excited about an explosion and he tells me that the attack was launched against the anti-demon force. I appear in front of him and ask him who is responsible thinking that the attack has been launched against Psi Voli SOC security forces. He tells me that no one is sure, but they say that it was a suicide bombing. I look at him confused and ask which force was attacked. He tells me that the city task force HQ was bombed. "You all know about them?" He looks at me and nods, "You pay attention to the ones that can kill you, Prince." I nod with a half grin as that was understandable. The female demon in my bed stirs in her sleep and I tell the dark kami that I must return to the earth realm. He looks at her and tells me that he'll send someone for her. I nod to him and tell him that I need help getting back to the earth realm as well. "You had better ask your uncle first. The Warlord would not be pleased if you were harmed."
I nod to the Dark Kami and a robe floats over to me and covers my nearly nude form before I dive over the rail of the walkway and fly down to my spirit uncle's private study. It would seem that fate and destiny are often the mask of calculated decisions. Walking into the room in robes, he looks up and tells me that he already knows why I am here. "Yisima, Saicity is my home as much as this compound and Arden is. Something is amiss. Your forces would not be buzzing if it were just an explosion. At the very least allow me to go and inspect what has transpired. I will return soon after it is all over and I have concluded my business. I will be careful." Yisima looks at me and nods. "It is better to know that you are going than to be surprised when you do it. Let me know what you find." I nod to him, "If demons are planning to flood the city again tho, I would not send your forces as your adversaries would obviously be weakening their forces to your benefit. Also, I don't want to risk killing any of them if this explosion is anything like the last one." Yisima nods to me and I leave to get dressed. I would be heading for the portal soon enough.

The door to my bedroom slammed open, and Lauren and her mother both came running in. Her father had been in the metro for a political hearing, and something was amiss. I was brought from my deep slumber and wonderful dreams and into their panic. Slowly, I arose from the warm, satin sheets to face them. It had to be something important for them to come to me at these hours. “Sanzon!!” Lauren cried out. “Father is in the metro and there was an explosion!” I instantly looked to her mother, who confirmed it with her gaze. If there was something going on down there, and he was at their penthouse, then he had to get out of their quick. I was unsure of his status or location as of right now, but he was probably there. “Sanzon, I wouldn’t ask this of you if I could avoid it.. but could you please go to him? I’m worried about this.” I nodded my head in respect to her mothers’ request. She was correct, and I was already aware of the severity of her question. If something was going on, I had to get her father out of there. The only thing that concerned me was the barrier that was around the metro. I had no way of getting in, but then again, I hadn’t really tested it out since I gained my strength back. Maybe I could figure something out to assist me in this venture.
Wearily, I climbed to my feet in front of them, wearing nothing but a pair of Lauren’s athletic shorts. They were a bit too short, and kind of didn’t stretch very much, but they covered the important stuff. I stretched lightly, yawning and shaking my body out. “No problem, I’ll leave immediately. Keep the news on, and hopefully it won’t take me long to get there.”
Her mother gave me a rather warm smile, the first one I had received in a very long time. I could sense her sincerity and gratitude in this action. Without waiting, I pulled my normal clothes on, and finished doing a light stretch. I finished gathering what I would need, which wasn’t really that much. I turned to depart the room when her mother stepped in front of me. “please.. take his bike. The keys are on the counter.” “As you wish. I will hurry.” As she requested, I shot out of the room at full speed, rounded the corner and leapt off of the balcony over the main hallway. My body landed softly on the ground, allowing me to immediately sprint forward down the hall towards the kitchen. I swung open the door, and looked across the counter, where there was a basket of keys. It took me a moment to dig through it before I found the ones I was looking for. With a smile on my face, I headed to the garage to find the beautifully restored bike. I had never rode one, so this should be interesting.

:: Though the dreary weather was crappy and rain descended upon the city, wetting all unsheltered crevices, this did not omit the duty of the men and women of division 12’s night’s patrol from doing their job. The member of my former team had been promoted into higher ranks becoming team leaders themselves. As such, I find myself in my capacity of supervising a squadron during a night run. This process involved the breaking in a team of newbies consisting of fresh recruits with the notable addition of Ingel, whom I had recruited myself. My job in this patrol supervision wasn’t close to hard, as it was to make sure the new guys didn’t get in over their heads against a low level threat. At the moment, they were out chasing down a lobster spirit, or something to that nature, with the order to take it out. Because it was raining outside, I would within the confines of a parked black sedan parallel to a sideway near the corner of two streets in the lower commons, casually sipping from my coffee, listening to their communication via the com signal while watching the rain drops streak down my driver side window. I knew that the spirit they were chasing down didn’t seem too powerful, so I doubted that I would have to intervene, whereas if I did have to, an intervention would probably be the equivalent of running the thing over if it came out into the streets.
As I recline, listening to the others, I receive a message to my cell. The soft vibration at my waist triggers me to reach for it with my free hand, the left one not holding the coffee, before rising it up and flipping the phone open to notice a mass communication that suggested that there had been a breach of the barrier in metro and for all available officers to check it out. I knew a few squadrons a lot closer than myself, so I would allow them to handle it; but still, the fact that the barrier was breeched was enough to leave a lump in my stomach since a demon would have to be sufficiently strong in order to do so. Lowering the phone, I look out of my front window in the direction of the distance metro noting myself at least twenty miles away from it.
Moments later, my cell buzzes a second time as I receive another message. My hand lifts my phone once more as I read the message which causes my eyes to widen at the news. Reaching for the communicator, I give the order for Ingel and the squadron of fresh meat to pack up and return to the vans. It was time to check out home base. ::

This was one of the few times that Izumi was actually working in the office at HQ. It had been quite sometime since she had actually worked at the office instead of Jyn's apartment. She was sitting behind the desk, tis the life of a secretary, merely typing away at a visual monitor imputing information about recent spirit tracking reports that Jyn seemingly forgot and left in his office. Honestly she wondered how this man was capable of doing any paper work done on time. His office is must worse then his home, I can't believe theres a stack of paper left here. No wonder he likes to work out from his apartment, he gets bombarded with too much over here. She merely sighed and outstretched her hands above her head for a moment and gazed at the visual monitor before her. She herself was doing her own little side projects, keeping it hush hush from the rest of division 12, she wanted to find out more information about spirit-human relations and exactly find out whats the current standing along with what happened in the past if any that shows what occured between the spirits and humans for things to be like this.
By this time that demon had crepped up in front of HQ and finally the alarm went off, in which it spooked Izumi. Her eyes shot open and she stopped what she was doing and looked towards the door. Luckily she did bring her personal weapon with her, which was resting against the wall behind her in it's bag and she kept it unzipped if anything. How exactly did Izumi come to division 12, especially around this time. Well by bus, she didn't feel the need to bring her car out over here, so she left that at home. No matter now, Izumi would look out the window that she could see from where she was and saw the other people within the office stopping what there doing and looking around slightly surprised. There was quick movements within the office as members began to mobilize and make thier way out to handle what came into Metro city.
It just donned on Izumi, since she was so into her work, the alarm was ment for demon's. Did one get past the barrier? The explosion rang and Izumi was even more startled, her eyes widened as she heard the noise and even felt the vibration's. That sound and vibration felt far to close for it to be far away. this definetly caused the other members in the building to stop what there doing. What in the world should she do, soon someone bursted into Jyn's office, it was Cathy. "Cathy? What happened?" Cathy looked rather freaked to Izumi. "Just letting you know to be on guard there's been an attack on HQ." Izumi would blink as she stood up and placed her hands upon the table. "Are you serious?" Cathy nodded her head. "Yeah, i'm rather sure, boss man is freaking out about this and yelling people out his office to get them to handle the situation." soon the sounds of more shuffling people caused Cathy to enter more into the office. More of the offensive unity of division 12 were sent out to handle whatever was going on. Izumi would grab her phone from her inner jacket and quickly she wrote a text in which she sent it out to Asei Jyn. The text said "This is bad, HQ under attack. Be very careful." Izumi had to find Jyn. Putting her phone away she looked at Cathy. "Well what do we do?" Cathy would rub her head and merely sigh as she shrugged. "For now we're to stand by, if it show's that it's a problem I'm sure that we'll have to either join in the fight or evacuate."

I cant say that I was enjoying what I was doing, it was alright, a lot better then hunting down criminals that plagued the streets, no, now I was hunting down demonic spirits that plagued the city, but tonight just didn't seem like the night to doing such a thing, not with the rain and the crappy weather, but you cant pick a time and place to go out and protect the city, with this type of job, you are always on call. The creature we were sent after was something of an oddity, then again, I guess all demonic creatures look strange. We had cornered the spirit in an ally and two of the men I was teamed with were moving into kill it when the call came in from Jyn, an order for the squad to head back to the van. When gunfire rings out from the area were we had the spirit cornered comes out, I look over at it as I respond with an 'Alright'. With the creature taken care of I turn and lead the team back to the vans. As we come upon the vehicles I make my way over to the vehicle that Jyn was in, coming to the passenger side door I reach out and take a hold of the handle and open the door before slipping into the passenger seat and look over at Jyn, " Everything's been taken care of. "Eh? Well, this weather sucks..." A drug dealing spirit decided, looking from her perch on someone's fire escape out at the weather. "It's all wet and muggy. Nobody wants out during this kind of weather. Bah!" Frowning up at the skies above, she shifted back down to her smaller vulpine form, deciding a long nap might be in order. That is, until a distant boom sounded in her ears. "Mother... who's the... making up all that... mmm?" It seemed something had changed... really it was more along the lines of a hunch or a feminine instinct... or the fact that when there were explosions of that kind it always meant something changed. Last time some disaster happened she was supposed to get some weed, pizza, and male strippers. Maybe the same entity was there and she could make him pay up on his promise. With such thoughts as these in mind, the little fox hopped off the fire escape onto a roof, sprouting wings like a corvid's and fluttering up, barely grabbing onto the roof before scrambling up and making her way to the next set of sagging shingles, on and on towards the center of the city.

Manifest Destiny
I had been enjoying a night of rest, since I didn't have a mission like the others, when my phone sprang to life and filled my room with its lullaby. The first few rings did little to rouse me from my slumber but as it persisted I began to wake up until I was fully awake. With an unenthused and annoyed groan I roll onto my side and reach out, grabbing my phone, though I wanted to throw it against the wall I pick it up and bring it closer as I check the message I was sent. After reading the message that told me to go to Metro to check something out, I set my phone back down and got up before I began to get ready.
Once I was ready, I set out, making my way out of the Den and onto the streets where I was picked up to be escorted to Metro. Once I was in the car I rested my head against the window and watched the world outside the car as it spread down the street on its way to Metro City.
It wasn't long before the car was coming to a stop and the driver glanced up at me in the rear, " We are here. ". When I heard the driver speak, I shifted my attention in his direction and gave a faint nod. Since the driver was no longer able to to take me any further, it was up to me to go the rest of the way to where I was suppose to go.. I grabbed the door handle and gave it a pull before pushing the door open and stepping out of the car, stepping back into the rain.
Once I moved away from the car and shut the door, I pitched my head up, turning my face to the dark sky as I closed my eyes and allowed the rain to sprinkle upon my face for a moment as the car began to drive off. After a moment longer I opened my eyes as I lowered my head and began to move down the side walk heading for the Division 12 building where the explosion had taken place.

The new apartment was better than I had ever imagined. I was settling in quite nicely, even if there were still a few boxes left to be unpacked. Work had been the top priority as of late, what with the major task of making sure everything is in order for Psyre's much anticipated return. What little free time I had managed to scrape together had been spent in the company of my only two remaining friends... well one demon living in the body of a cat friend and one incredible man who had become so much more in the past weeks. Tonight was one of the few that had not been spent with the pair of them. Work had taken longer than expected and the lack of sleep due to other nighttime activities had finally caught up to me and sent me scrambling for my covers well before midnight.
Sleep came easily, or should I say that sleep ambushed me and dragged me under before I could stage any form of protest, and would have lasted well into the morning had there not been a rude interruption in the form of some disturbance. Immediately upon waking I had no idea what had been the culprit. All I knew was that I was awake and not happy about it. Since there was little chance of falling back asleep, I threw back the covers with a growl and reached for the remote. Turning on the all night news I waited to hear if anything was going on elsewhere in the city as I fingered the buttons on my phone. Saito didn't sleep when I wasn't spending the night so I could probably call him and find him out fighting demons or at least training in some capacity.
Before breaking down and securing my place in the 'needy girlfriend' annuls of history, I walk to the window and cast my gaze out over the city. It looked like there was a plume of smoke from the city metro but I couldn't be sure with the darkness and obstructions in my way. I hoped there wasn't any trouble out there. 356

Dreams of Lexi plagued my sleep, just as they had since giving the young man the mission of finding out her current whereabouts. I hadn't mentioned it to Trinity yet, I felt the need to wait until I had something to actually tell her should she seem interested in finding our younger sister. In the dreams my mind played out all possibilities of how Alexis's life could have turned out. Her living on the streets, addicted to any number of the various drugs out there; her working as a dancer to scrape by; selling herself for rent and food money; the list went on. All horrific images of what a life of abandonment could have done to what used to be such a charming little girl. There was also the possibility that the demon had finally gotten the better of her too, if that were the case then I had already decided not to mention anything to Trinity. If the young man brought back information of my sister's death, I would have to find some other way to right the wrongs that had been done to her.
Since the dreams wouldn't allow for peaceful sleep, I found myself sitting at the kitchen table drinking a cup of coffee waiting for Trin to get home from work when I felt the floor beneath me rumble. I thought there had been an earthquake at first, but when it was only that one small rattle my mind began to switch over to something a bit more contained than an act of nature. Rising from my seat, I cross to the window and try to make out the epicenter of the blast or whatever had caused the disturbance. As I was scanning the subpar view from the apartment window I heard my phone begin to beep from the bedroom. By the time I made it down the hall to my room and pulled the phone from the charger there were seven messages waiting for me. All but one were from the security team on duty tonight at the Information Center. The first ones saying they had felt the same tremor that I had then those messages gave way to others about a possible explosion in City Metro. The last had come from Trin, asking if I was awake and if I had noticed the mini quake. If there had been an explosion they never would have heard it over the music of the bar unless it was right next door. They could however notice bottles shaking and clanking together and easily believe there was an earthquake.
Tossing the phone to the bed, I pull on some clothes and get ready to head out. I would see if the guys wanted me to come in for a while and if they had everything under control for the time being, I would drop by and see my sister at work. 484

I pulled out of the garage with the utmost urgency. The iron gate swept open in the rain, while water struck my body. My white body was covered with a white suit, black dress shirt from the night before, and finished off with a long black overcoat that Lauren’s father had given me. The water was warm against my cold skin, and a light blue tint glowed across my skin. I had awakened a part of me in this urgency, There was a feeling of importance in my stomach that was pushing me forward as I drove through those gates, and left their property. Her father had become important to me, like he was my actual family. I was angry at the thought that something might happen to him. If there was really something going on, some terrorist attack, or some form of assault, I would make sure that he was safe and far away from there. My body shifted weight, leaning into the first turn before heading down towards the city. I could see the metro lights, albeit pale, through the near downpour. My hair was soaked at the tips below the helmet. I would have preferred to not even wear one, but Lauren had told me to always do it. I didn’t really understand the point, but I did it to appease her. The ground moved underneath the bike, shifting its passage downhill, and away from the Cliffside. Soon, I was speeding through the red lights, ignoring traffic patterns, and moving straight towards downtown. If I had anything, time was not one of them. [266/791]

The bar was filled to the beams. Men and women were squeezed into every inch of available floor space in the joint. The live band on stage was local but had a loyal following and a sound that appealed to the masses. Tips jars had already overflowed a few times and were once again being emptied into the spare drawer under the register to be sorted and counted after closing time. Ric was still behind the bar backing me up since the crowd hadn't thinned out yet like they normally would have. If it was an ordinary night I would be well into my cleaning and counting duties by now, but when then music is pumpin, the liquor is flowing, and the money is rolling like this; you just can't shut it down without cause.
When the bottles behind the bar started rattling I thought the band was hitting more bass than before. That wasn't the case because the band was playing a song with almost no bass whatsoever. The rattling only lasted a few seconds and then was done. Most of the customers hadn't noticed but Ric and I exchanged puzzled glances while I pulled out my phone and started to click out a text to Jazz. I knew he hadn't been sleeping well lately so there was a good chance he would be awake and waiting on me to come home. Maybe he felt the rattle too, if so then Ric and I weren't going crazy. Once the text was sent I toyed with the idea of sending a similar one to Ingel but thought better of it. Last time something had gone down in the middle of the night like this, he tried to come find me to check and see that I was alright and ended up getting caught in the middle of the action. I would wait until I knew more before bothering him this late. Slipping into the kitchen on one of the short lulls in business, I make sure the kitchen staff have the news on to find out what caused the rattle. While I fully expected another claim of a gas explosion or something similar, I was still curious about the location, at least the affected area wasn't covered up by the media even if the true cause might be. 388

Izumi would take the moment and sit against the desk that she was just working at. It was quite the pain, since the explosion had occured right outside, it rattled the building inside and knocked over the stack of papers she had and made things a little messy in this office. She pulled out her phone to look at it and still she didn't get any sort of response. She was getting just a bit worried, but she had to have faith that Jyn wasn't in any trouble. He was quite the capable human being, well for a normal one that is. Izumi would just put her phone back into her inne jacket pocker and merely looked towards Cathy who was leaning against the door and just staring outwards. Since this had started, getting back to work would be extremely difficult since the current situation isn't exactly known if it is under control, or if the exployees would have to escape soon. Izumi woul gaze over towards her monk's spade that was still in it's bag. At least she brought her weapon, so she should be fine in case she should get attacked. She had a new assortment of skills that she could also use in desperation, would be difficult since the new skills are rather powerful, and she jsut learned them, they weren't mastered yet so the chance of failure was still grand there.
Izumi would get off the desk and began to pick up things in order to straighten things out. Cathy would look to her and tilt her head. "What are you doing? You dont have to fix any of this up." Izumi would smile and nod her head as she was picking up the papers that was scattered along the ground. "I understand that, but a messy office isn't good to have, and it's my job to keep his things neat and tracked. While there is a situation outside, we inside can't do anything as of yet. No one's told up to evacuate just yet." Cathy would just sigh as she shook her head. "You know you're one wierd woman." Izumi would smile rather happily at that comment. "I know."

:: The affirmation comes that they were finishing up and because they are close, I wait for them to return from the clean up. During this time, the phone buzzes and I reach for it looking down to see the text from Izumi confirming what was earlier said. I look up to notice Ingel and the others arriving back just in time. The other’s get into the van to follow and my gaze shifts to Ingel as he gets into my car… without clapping off his boots. I mean… it was raining and he was running through alleyways… Hobo’s poop in alleyways. There was a slight chance that I now had partial moist Hobo poop on my floor mat. Of course, the first inclination I have is to go to the car wash and utilize their vacuum as well as the cleaning products in the back of my trunk, but before that, duty calls. Pushing aside my OCD for that moment, there is only a minor glance reference to his feet while he says the word “everything’s” and my gaze shifts back up to him as he continues. “Good,” I respond, “there was an explosion at HQ.” With that, the car is started and the coffee is put into a cup holder. The ca is put in gear and I pull off from the curb, into the streets, heading towards the metro with the Division 12 van in tow behind. I speak informing, “something powerful must have been or be there in order to bypass the barrier.” ::

After speaking to Jyn, telling him everything was finished, I turn my head to the side and glance back to the vans the rest of my squad had gotten into as Jyn begins speaking to me. At first I thought he was kidding, an explosion at HQ? come on, that can't be true.. but, then again, I don't think Jyn would joke about something like that.. No, he would never joke about something like that, or at least I don't think he would.. As the car begins moving, I finally turn my head, shifting my attention to Jyn as I think over what he had just told me, was it a normal explosion? maybe some group wanting to start something with Division 12.. or was it an explosion caused by something else.. When he speaks again, adding some details to what he had told me I give a faint nod as I shift my attention to the road, " Did they say what might have made the explosion. Are we under attack again from the same creatures that attacked East City? " At the mention of East City, I couldn't help but think back to it for a moment and how I ended up in East City during the attack, " Do we know if there was more then a single explosion? " by now I had quite a few questions and wasn't sure if Jyn could answer them all for me..

I tightened my grip on the handlebars, slowly increasing the speed of the motorcycle. It felt like the closer I got to the city, the harder it rained. I pulled through the academic district, taking note of a place I had been before: Lauren’s school. The penthouse was right on the border of the Metro, and was finally in view. I had no idea if her father was at home, but I had a light hope that lady luck would be on my side tonight. I didn’t have much to worry about, and I saw sirens every other turn or so. Something had happened, and it bothered me that I had no idea what. Wondering about the flickering of lights from the building, I could see a plume of smoke above the buildings. “Metro barrier, here we go..” I whispered to myself. I was having trouble with my vision through the helmet, so I slowed down enough to take it off with one hand, and slide to a stop next to the tower. Before I could make it inside, however, my curiosity took over. As I looked at the plume of smoke, I got a weird feeling in my stomach. If I t was something from the other world, would the humans be able to take care of it? The last thing I wanted was to deal with seeing another one of my spirits being captured or destroyed due to their recklessness. Then again, if they were attacking the humans, I had to stop that as well. It was my duty as a guardian, regardless of whether or not I had been cast out of the heavens. I was the lightning tiger, and this was my duty. Pulling the helmet back on, I slammed on the gas and shot down the street at full speed, moving in and out of traffic in both lanes. I wanted to make it to the center of this issue as quick as possible. [1112]

Seven sleeps peacefully in the forest when she wakes up with a stir after having a nightmare. She lays on a bed of grass and leaves. She leans up and looks in the direction of the city with her dress falling down the side of her shoulder and one of her demons speaks to her and says, “did you feel that?” She shakes her head and says “no I did not feel that. What was it.” The demon tells her “something just happened in the city that was very big. Maybe we should go and look at it.” The other demons inside of her wake up and say that is a good idea, so Seven yawns and sits up all of the way and wipes her eyes with her fists. “Okay” seven says as she stands up and floats up to the sky moving high over the tree tops of the Western Forest.

"How hard is it to understand that a merger is bascially a take over in a kind manner.." I find myself grumbled and snap my cell phone shut. I sigh and shove it in my purse and examine my manicured nail, noting a chip in the crimson nail polish. I frown. "Kyouya..Schedule an appointment with, Lulu. I need a manicure and a pedicure after all this shit I'm dealing with..Have I mentioned that my father is a fuckin' prick," I hiss out the last part, Kyouya simply nodding. He's such a good assistant. I turn my wrist and look at the time. Kami what I wouldn't give to just say fuck this shit and go and see Jyn. The thought of him made my heart twist. I miss him desparately and the thought of that sexy secretary with him...My hands clench into fists. No use becoming a jealous bitch, Shiori.
"Shiori-sama. I can cancel the morning meeting for you if you wish. Even a Kyro needs a break," he says and I peer at him. I smile softly. He was a very preceptive person. I nod.
"Please do. I could use the break for a day..Or something. Honestly I barely know who I am these days.." I sigh and lean back into the plush leather seats of the family car. I can feel Kyouya's eyes on me and I peek over at him.
"Why do you do it then?" he questions and I blink. But then a picture of my father and stepmother flash through my head. I frown.
"Because..I refuse to allow this company to drown.." I answer simply and he nods.

Izumi would take a breath as she looked around Jyn's office, it had to look neat, well as neat as this could be. She could only just imagine it now Jyn coming into his office even if it was in a rush to make sure she was okay. Hell she might even be on the floor bleeding and she could just imagine Jyn looking at her and muttering something about why is his office a mess and that she should have cleaned it before she got there. This office was a rather decently sized office with more then enough room for people to move around it. Located near to the back of the building upon the left side up on the fourth floor. Izumi would calmly walk over to the blinds that covered over the large windows that seemed to line the wall that showed the outisde. She moed a blind over in order to attempt to see if she could see anything from her position. She would glance out for a bit and then move away from the window, it was night time so see much of anything would be a bit difficult. She sighed and looked around his office, maybe he had night vision goggles in here somewhere. She looked towards the three filing cabinets that were there, and a large desk that was near to the front that had this systematically arranged pots of bamboo plants growing rather largly, close to the cieling hieght. She would sigh softly and move behind the main desk where all the work was at and pulled back the chair and sat on it, behind her rested her monk spade snuggling inside it's bag. Cathy was still by the door merely waiting for new orders.

"Why aren't you back asleep?" "I can't be turned on and off like a tap you know. If you're going to wake me up once, I'd prefer to stay awake for awhile if you don't mind. And I know you heard that explosion just as loudly as I did. What if that cute guy's at the bottom of it? He'll definitely need some backup." "You're right..." Thus went the internal dialog of a man who hadn't talked with his possession spirit for some time and the resident incubus that resided within himself, or rather, herself from appearances. A young woman clad in a tube top, a black robe, black jeans, and black, steel-tipped, Doc Martin boots sped towards the site of the explosion, hoping that the handsome kamikonjou she'd met the other day wasn't somehow at the bottom of it. Behind her, ran two wolfish dogs, one white after the manner of snow and another black and brown after the manner of a German shepard. The black one, huffing with his tongue out shouted, "Master Moskau, Master Belphegor, you must slow down..." "Yea..." the other rejoined. "Slow down a little bit. We'll never get there if the police stop you." "And how are we going to follow you if the explosion was in the Metro area?" The woman tossed her long, light lavender hair in the wind. "Look you two, if you're going to be tagging along you have to stay out of my way..." her gaze returned to what was in front of her long enough to take a sharp turn down a back alley. "I have bigger things to worry about, got it?" "Yes ma'am!" The dogs barked in unison. In a few seconds they would arrive in the middle of town and surprisingly the hounds would find little trouble. Though the deactivated turrets pointed their long barrels ominously at the two, making them whimper and run a little bit faster, no form of death issued forth from the darkness and no barrier blocked their way through. "Odd..." the dark dog reflected as they rushed past the dead defenses.

Gothstone had been unfortunate, especially since he had settled down into the place with a job and apartment, both being things he had worked hard to get. Although he had enjoyed living there, conditions made it so that he probably wasn't welcome to return. Those conditions being the hole in the wall of his old single room apartment.. the damage would have been too hard to explain and would have put him in a debt, knowing he didn't have the money to repair it. Besides, he needed work. Only money would be able to fund the neccessary restraints needed so that he could continue on living normally, at least, while he was still a human. Finding a job shouldn't be so difficult in the big city.
Majeh must have set two steps into the City Metro before the shaking of the ground almost had him lose his footing, and the sound of an explosion rocked throughout the city. "The hell?" He stated out loud, regaining his posture and glancing around at similar confused faces. "Man.. that's about as bad an omen as they come." Second thoughts of entering the city were forced to be considered, but they were fleeting ones. He had to travel here by foot, and he was exhausted at this point. Besides, the explosion could be explained by several things.. Majeh took a moment to consider them.
Now that he thought of it.. what would constitute an explosion like that? The thing had rattled the city it seemed, so it wasn't something so simple to reason an explanation. Now the young man was interested, also deciding to use the free time to study the city a little. He supposed he would check it out. Seeking word on the street, he found that the explosion occurred near the headquarters of Division 12. Being in no hurry, he began to head in the direction at a casual pace. 317

Hopping from dripping roof to dripping roof, the little fox didn't seem to be making a great deal of time... mostly because she was in her slower form with little legs, but the weather seemed simply oppressive. The cold water on her fur felt unpleasant, but it couldn't compare to the discomfort of having wet clothes sticking to your body. The water from the sky would probably contain the fire some, so she'd at least see the source of it without having to ask anybody... that was always awkward... talking to people when she wasn't in the commons. Something bothered her, though. An image of her old friend Adrian and his apartment, specifically his couch stood clear in her mind. She recalled the softness and warmth snuggling there provided, out of the rain and away from the drama of the streets she worked every night. Another image of the incubus police chief who promised her a "favor" back in the park flitted through her mind too, itself preceding the fresh memory of the handsome fellow she had hanging upside down by his ankle in the filthy back alleys that one night, completely vulnerable to any ill intentions that resided in her black heart at the time. These weren't normal thoughts for her, but they brought with them the acute realization that aside from her acquaintance the previous night, pretty much everyone she held close to and everyone attempted to gather for helping her expand had disappeared unaccounted... Or maybe the thing that bothered her lay deeper, but superficially all of her "problems" could be traced back to the sudden slowdown of business and lack of growth in her organization. On this she reflected until she slipped on the puddle of one roof that, oddly enough failed to sag under its own weight. "Wait... what?" She'd never been her before, but she recalled seeing this area from the other side of a barrier. "City Metro?"

Mask tied firmly in place over his face, Fu Leng moved through the Academic District. His body was covered with black robes, with a white fringe. Set in the red sash around his waist was a wooden sword. He wasn't bothered by the rain as he stood in the courtyard outside of Sai-U. His arms folded over his chest as he stood there, glaring up at the building he had attended.
His eyes narrowed as he summoned his sword to his hand. He would destroy this place. He'd leave nothing standing. But that would have to wait. He had orders to oversee what would happen here in the city. Turning he moved down the street in the direction of the explosion. He ignored the looks people gave him. Most would think him a crazy person. But anyone capable of seeing spirits might mistake him for one. That was what he was counting on.
"Aguaiem maha maveil." he said, invoking the power of the seven star shield, Sebunhoshi.

Seven flies quickly to the city. Because it was raining her body was all wet and her dress had been soaked, but she did not notice it. The lighting in the background makes her a shadow when it flashes. She looks down over the city while she flies over it. She sees smoke in the distance and float to it. She never been to the center of the city before so she thinks it to be interesting and new because all the building were tall and shiny but something kept her out before. She floats and lands on top of a long antenna on the top of one of the sky scapers and looks at the area where the explosion was. “This must be what you felt,” she says to one of the demons who says back to her “I wonder what happened here” and she says “I don’t know, let’s wait and watch for a little while.”

As I moved down the side walk my eyes slowly wandered across the side walk, moving from one object to the next as I scanned over the area idly. It wasn't until a few seconds later that I came to a stop at a four way intersection and glanced around before I realized that I wasn't exactly sure where I needed to be going.. This part of the city was one that I had avoided in the past so I wasn't familiar with the layout of the streets when it came to this part of the city. As I came to this realization, my gaze shifted from a building I was looking at to one of the road signs as I pitched my head up just a bit and began sniffing at the air. While sniffing at the air I caught the smell of something familiar, as I caught the scent and took it in I quickly knew who it was from, the girl I had ran into not to long ago, Grunty. But that was not the only thing that I could smell, no, another scent caught my attention as well, the other scent I had caught was the scent of smoke.
Once I caught the scent of smoke, I glanced around for a moment as I looked to the sky more, looking for where it was coming from... was that where I needed to go? I stood there for a moment before my attention shifted back to the scent I had picked up first.. Finally I began to move, following after the first scent, making my way to where Grunty was.

Righting herself, the little fox looked left and right, trying to discern which direction she should travel to get to the scene of... well, whatever the explosion was when she happened to sniff something familiar. The air hardly moved, but she could still catch the direction he was coming from. Surprised, she shouted out, "Hey! Brother Wolf! 'Sup man?" Of course, having no hands she couldn't wave, but she would have otherwise. "You here for the pizza and strippers?"

:: My gaze continues forwards as the lights from the city pass over the black sedan as it moves through the city streets making its way towards Division 12 HQ. The rain shifts to either side of the wind shield as the washers shift to and fro. The pur of the engine accelerates on the straight and vacant road. To his question, I answer, “all I know is that there has been one explosion confirmed.” There was still a bit of distance between us and HQ, but we should be able to arrive there within 15 minutes. I knew a lot could happen in that time, so I figured our team would be late on whatever damage was done or war that might be taking place at the moment, since it only made sense for the large attack to be a prelude to something else. My gaze shifts to the side as I look at him from the corner of my eye. It was raining, therefore there was a good chance he was wet. I was worried. Not for the chance that he might catch cold, but for my upholstery. One hand shifts to the wheel as the other reaches behind the seat seeking a towel. Luckily I am able to find one in my workout duffle bag behind his seat. The arm comes back around as I offer the towel to him speaking, “don’t want you to catch a cold.” ::

Site Event - Manifest Destiny Location: City Metro (somewhere near a bunch of guys in suits who think they're tough) Time: Late night / Early Morning
Post 2: The explosion wakes up the city. The Division 12 head quarters reacts like a bee hive or ant hill. They respond quickly to the explosion to secure the area. The sounds of a helicopter’s blades chop from overhead and it shines a bright light down to the area that exploded. Communication travels through the agency. The captains and sergeants see to the wounded. Full teams arrive in tactical equipment and automatic weapons, but nothing else seems to happen after the blast. The technical team reports that they are working on getting the barrier back online. Units have no leads to what just happened.
A body appears on both sides next to Seven. Imorte stands on air, tall and slender with his arms wrapped around himself. Krys floats petting her kitty. Imorte speaks first.
“So here’s where you were hiding.”
He tosses his hair and snaps his finger. This paralyses Seven. He pokes her in the head with his finger and smiles.
“Now be still.”
The legendary demon, Tiamat, who had been sealed in Seven is ripped from her body. Tiamat manifests in front of Seven and Imorte and holds his head. He looks up at Imorte.
“You…”
Imorte smiles and holds his hand out to Tiamat. A green light glows from his hand as he speaks gleefully.
“No time for that. She’s already healed most of you, so I’ll finish off the rest. Krys, would you please let the puppy’s out?”
The silent Krys smiles innocently with a nod. She looks down to the area that Division 12 was securing and shifts the little black kitty into her left and and holds her right hand out to the ground. The ground starts to tremble and shake and a crease forms. Agents who are standing loose their footing. The rip grows larger with a red glow coming from it. There is a loud howl and suddenly, hundreds of hell hounds leap from the rut in the ground and start to attack Division 12. The sound of gunfire, howls and screams fill the air. Imorte finishes healing Tiamat. He looks at Seven.
“You’ve been a good girl. You can come with us if you want to have more fun than what’s here. I’ll leave it up to you.”
He opens a portal and he, Tiamat and Krys teleport away. Seven is released from the paralysis. The portal is left open long enough for her to come along if she wanted to. A psionic invitation is spread city wide to al l spirits with evil in their hearts drawing them towards the forest. The lower level evil spirits would start to float that way. Stronger demons decide if they want to follow the impulse or not. Action: It's still raining but now there's puppies to play with! Evil demons come to the forest for recruitment possibilities with a 401k. Kaz, ur not evil enough, so you're not invited. I mean evil, evil, not "I do everything the right way, but inside I'm nasty" evil.

As I moved down the side walk my gaze shifts as I search for the source of the scent I am following, Grunty. My gaze continued shifting around until I heard a familiar voice call out to me. When I heard her calling out to me I began to slow down until I came to a stop and looked up where I heard the voice coming from. At first I glanced around looking for Grunty as I spoke up, " Hey Grunty. Mmm, no.. I'm here for something else. " I said, shaking my head faintly as I looked away from Grunty and to the direction the explosion had taken place at, " I'm heading this way, " I sad, pointing in the direction of the Division 12 building, " What about you? " I asked as I looked off towards Division 12.
I turned my attention back to Grunty for a moment, " Lancy, we don't need to go that way, we need to go another way. " When I heard the voice speak to me, I glanced away from Grunty, " Huh, what? " I said before as I looked away, not realizing I had just spoke aloud to the voice in my head.

With Jyn's answer to my question, I give a faint nod as I watch the road ahead of us. Though I knew it would be reckless, I felt like ushering Jyn into going faster so we could get there sooner but It wouldn't do any of us any good if we ended up getting into a wreck and didn't make it, I knew Jyn would get us there as soon as we could but with out getting into an accident.. My attention had shifted from Jyn to the road and what may be going on at the HQ and when he offered me the towel, I shifted my gaze to the towel, looking at it for a second before I took it, " Thanks. " I said before I began to run the towel through my hair to dry it off. As I worked on getting my hair dry, I glanced out the window of the car, looking at the gloomy weather and the buildings, " Have you tried to contact HQ to see if you can get any further information? " I asked as I glanced back to Jyn as I set the town into my lap once I had finished drying off my hair.

Grunty frowned to herself, hearing the same voice that last time promised her the weed pizza served by male strippers, calling her towards the forest. Her tongue hung out of her mouth, and she licked her chops, her gaze falling back over where she'd just come. "Eh... well, uhh... yew... gawn (go on and) and look into that. There's something I need to check out in the woods... we... can catch up later if ye want, eh?" Without waiting for an answer, she hopped to another roof, leaving the confused lycan to decide whether he'd like to come or not.

Returning to my chambers, the maiden is already gone, which is pleasing as I don't have time for lengthy goodbyes and all of that. I need to get moving before Yisima tries to take back the permission for me to return to the Earth Realm. I put my body armor on before putting on my robes. I had grown accustomed to the wardrobe of the dark realm. Once dressed, I fly out of my room and one of the scouts that has been helping my training catches up to me when I reach the roof of the compound and he informs me, "Prince, urgent news! There is a growing surge of dark demonic energy in the forest." My head turns slightly to look at him. My eyebrow arches in quizzical fashion before I finally seek confirmation of this intel, "Are you sure that it's not just demons escaping Onitoshi thru the portal?" The scout answers me, "Sir, they are not gathering at the portal. I believe they're heading here... to this location on the earth map." I look at the map then at him with sharpened eyes. "If this is correct, I know where they're going. That is where I am headed then." The scout tells me that Yisima will not be pleased if I do and I nod to him. "That is why he does not need to be informed of this." The scout asks how I expect to elude his notice and I tell him that a double will be sent to City Metro to gain intel on the events there. "I will leave with the hood raised so that the double will be able to appear in City Metro and keep his hood on while pretending to be me. If your intel is accurate, there are mortals who can be allies to the cause. I will go to aid them. If it will put you at ease, you can keep an eye on me since you will know what I am wearing and how my signature looks against the double's. When I return, I need you to teach me how to do that by the way." The scout thinks to object, but simply wishes me well and dispatches the double to the portal.
Pulling my hood up, I slowly rise into the air before flying off towards the portal. I arrive at the portal and the double reveals itself before turning invisible again and follows me thru the portal. As soon as we exit the portal entering the Western Forest of the Earth Realm, I feel a strange energy about, but can't decipher what it is or where it's coming from. I do notice the lesser dark demons all seem to start heading in the direction that I was concerned about. Stronger looking demons around the portal seem to turn their head and think about something, but I can't really gather what. I figure my best bet is not to kill them yet, but to investigate and find out where they are headed first. A few of them deserve to die already as they are covered in blood and some are dispatched by their leaders who choose not to answer the call, but would rather raise hell in the city. While I care about the city, Metro has enough defenses to be fine I would assume. I fly within the canopy following the dark pawns towards their destination. If I had been able to complete my training, my mind wouldn't be filled with thoughts of slaughtering some of these dark ones. Still, I need to find out where they are going before I start trying to kill them or I may find myself in quite the bind.

He gave half-heartened glances each way down the intersecting streets. The solution was all so simple now. The true solution. "Ohhhh..!" Majeh suddenly bursted out into a running pace, turning into the first alley he could and moving through it. Eventually he came to a man pacing through the alley and pummeled him to the ground. From him he stole a knife and he held it up proudly. "Seppuku!" Majeh shouted before repeatedly stabbing himself while yelling out, "Seppuku!! Seppuku!" It was only moments later before he was on the ground, curled up into a little ball as the rain washed away his blood, embracing the sweet touch of death.

I slid the motorcycle to a stop, bringing myself off of it for a short time. The ground was rumbling, and the noise was getting louder. There seemed to be a lot more action coming from over there now than I had originally suspected. A feeling soon emerged in my chest, taking my attention for a moment away from the city metro. I had no idea what was going on out there, but from the feeling I could tell it wasn’t an afternoon picnic. I thought for a moment about what course of action I would take. Would I figure out what caused this and maybe breach a new level of trust between the humans and my own kind, or would I go investigate that weird feeling. Without thinking, I started the bike back up and continued down the street towards the source of the explosion. I had only been a few minutes away, and traffic was minimal thanks to the crappy conditions.
Shifting my weight across my body, I turned to the next large street, only to see complete pandemonium. There were hellhounds everywhere. I took the helmet off, and looked up. There were search lights in the sky, probably helicopters. I couldn’t really tell from here, but that was my first guess. Great, I couldn’t call down lightning with those here. I was unsure of whether or not lightning would even be able to destroy any of those as it was. I really didn’t have time for a fight, but as it was, I could see where the commotion was coming from. This was in no way a good thing. If there were hellhounds, then a higher order was probably involved with this. There were people everywhere as well. It seemed like they had it under control for the most part. As it stood now, I was completely useless to them. I couldn’t use any of my abilities without putting the humans at risk as well. If It came to that, I didn’t want to be on the receiving end of a war again.
I slid the warm helmet up over my head once again. The skin that poked through the clothes held a light blue glow, and I quickly tried to cover it up before anyone would notice me. I flipped the bike around, and hit the gas. There was something to the west that was bothering me still. That feeling of voided energy in my stomach, a knot that had formed from the feeling, was getting stronger. If something was going down over there, then the humans were probably few and far between. If that was the case, I would be able to go into it at full swing without a problem. There were a few main roads that would take me the direction I wanted to go, so I slammed on the gas and pushed this thing to its limit. The rain pattered against my body, and I was feeling a bit chilly, but I had been through worse. This was just one of those days, and for some reason I felt like it would definitively end up ranking at the top of my shit list. [532 / 1644]

Seven looks surprised as there are two people by her. She tilts her head at the man but when he snaps his fingers, she finds that she cannot move because she is paralyzed by his spell. The demons inside of her ask, “what is happening to us!” She feels her soul ripped in half when their father is ripped away from her and out of her body. She feels pain all over her body and pants with the rain falling down her wet body but she still cannot move. “Father!” one of the demons call out, but they cannot hear him. She cannot move her mouth to talk, but in her mind she tells her demons that their father would protect them. She feels a terrible trembling and sees hell dogs attack the humans underneath them very far down on the ground. She feels the spell off of her body and the pain isn’t as back anymore. She answers the man “I will follow my father!” and rushes into the portal grabbing Tiamat by the arm and cuddling close to him saying, “don’t leave us daddy!”

NPC MODERATION Location: City Metro + Sai City (global)
Scattered fissures in the ground open up around the city allowing more hell hounds to escape and wreak havoc about the city. Normal humans are unable to see the hounds, but are able to notice the destruction. This has caused most normal humans to flee to their homes and nearby buildings where they can lock the entrances and exits. Elgoog Field Reporter, Dood Lorde, remains with his cameraman on the scene.
"This is Dood Lorde reporting live on the scene in City Metro. Minutes ago, there was a large explosion outside of a government building n City Metro. Police officers are on the scene handling the situation. As you can hear, there is gunfire in the background inside the restricted area. This leads me to believe the terrorist organization responsible for the gas leak explosions in East City last year have resurfaced! Worry not though, the brave civil servants of our Saicity Police Force are already handling this situation. The Police are asking that all citizens remain in their homes to allow them to better do their job of serving and protecting the city. We will get you more information as it becomes available. This is Dood Lorde, reporting live on the scene. Elgoog, always making sure you know!"
In Gunshyne Bastion, the Gunslengers band together to deal with the threat. Hounds have also appeared in Gothstone, East City, Academic District, and the Lower Commons. Somehow, the Northern Heights has been unaffected. Those able to sense spirits could feel the presence moving about in the different parts of the city. The melody of chaos is spreading thru the city quickly and a pulse is sent out to all "specials" within the city guiding them to the nearest disturbance. Even those who are masters at sensing would be unsure of what was guiding them, but they would feel why they were being guided. (Chaos and destruction = you need to go help stop it.)
About fifteen minutes after the pulse is sent to guide the "specials", all of relatively good nature in or closely around SaiCity (Western Forest excluded) would hear a Voice speak to them. All outside noise would cease to be heard by those being spoken to (that's everyone in the city). The voice is soothing to the mind and calm in its demeanor. It had seen too much and Imorte and Krys had gone unchecked for long enough.
"Good Children of the Earth Realm, a great swarm of darkness must be combated by a swarm of the light. Your home is being threatened and you must rise together against this dark threat. City Metro is under attack from a league of hounds from the underworld. Vanquish them, defenders of the Earth Realm."
The Voice grows silent and everything returns to normal. The choice to answer the call to protect City Metro is yours. First, you will need to defeat the hell hounds attacking your current location first though.

"You would call the attack on the mortal realm off? Why?" he wondered out loud.
He doubted very much they would be going to the woods for anything but to empower whatever had created that same power vacuum in East City. Back when he cared about what happened to humanity. Instead he stepped into an alley, his body shaking as he grabbed at his head. He wasn't sure what was right or wrong any more, but he didn't care either. He had a duty to his goddess. A duty he would see through to the end.

"Awh man, what a drag," Belphegor reflected, looking up at the sudden spirit rain. "Can't it be raining men? That'd be cool. I guess a dog is fine too. Formations, folks." The two dogs huddled around the motorcycle, snarling at the strange menace from hell, before suddenly finding that the motorcycle had taken off at full speed. The rider charged a shot at the end of one hand and released it straight off to her right, allowing the ray to consume anything the bike passed on that side. The good dogs tried very hard to keep up, occasionally snapping at a monster who got too close, but the motorcycle had been built with combat scenarios in mind and thus was pretty effective at making it through the crowd, leaving a relatively safe path in its wake for the unfortunate pets.

Location: East City, At Home Summary: Go kill stuff Kryo
My green eyes open widely from their sleep as I setup in the bed. The white buddy falls from the bed as my hand comes to my forehead. It wasn’t a bad dream or any explosion that woke me, but the feeling of something hit me in the head like a hammer. Slider legs come out from under the covers and my feet softly touch the floor as I grab a small pack out of the nightstand and stand up. Leaving the bedroom to enter the kitchen where I open the sliding door. Standing between the borders of the back door and the porch in nothing more than a black tank top and panties, I lean on the frame as I look out into the rain at the lights of the city. The reddish mark that once only on my left thigh now rules the left side of my back all the way up to my shoulder. Most believe that the mark is nothing more than a normal tattoo. A dim red glow comes from the cigar and reflects off the silver cross on the beaded necklace, after I bring it up to my lips and light it. Some funny ass stuff goes on in the streets and my smoke is interrupted by some voice that I found to be more annoying then soothing. I don’t like voices in my head. At first I thought it was Domen playing around with me again but after hearing what it had to say I know better… that and it didn’t sound like him at all. Hmm it is raining and the voice wants me go all the way to Metro… Fuck that shit. Each time I go out to have some fun killing demons and stuff like that, someone gets in the way and runes the fun. Besides that Domen is always like “Master say back I will handle this.” Or “Master place do not summon me for something so trivial.” And there is the “Can you not take care of this yourself?” It’s so irritating. Half the time when I tell him to doesn’t do it or he does something else. No I’m not going to defend the city from some stupid dogs. I think I’m going to go back inside and crawl into bed with Seiki where it is nice and warm. My brow rises when a few hell hounds jump over the fence. Two fingers come up to take the cigar from my lips as smoke is blown out. “Domen you have some work to do.” The mark on my body glows and its light fills the room as there are some cool FF summoning CGI or maybe it was more like an anime morphing scene where the magical girl magically changes cloths. Either way I’m still standing there in my panties wondering if I should even bother getting dress… so far in the show I have yet to get to kill something cool. “Hmm I think I’ll just get my coat to make things fun! I wonder if I have some hooker boots….”

I kept moving forward, slowly the bike down to round a corner. There were hounds everywhere. I thought they were only in the city metro, not in Gothstone.. Great. I closed my eyes for a moment and pressed forward while a strange voice came into my head. I didn’t want anyone to know I was down here right now, so it would have been in my best interest to ignore his call to arms. Unfortunately for me, that wasn’t going to happen. Before I could bring the bike to a stop, I slammed straight into one of the hell hounds. My body was vaulted forward, bouncing across the pavement before I slid to a stop. Quickly standing up, I came face to face with one of these ugly creatures, and before I knew it the stupid thing was on top of me. Bringing my hands quickly onto its arms, I inhaled, bringing a negative charge into my left hand, and then a short exhale to push a positive charge into my right. “Void of Spatial thunder!” The electricity, based on a large static type, jolted through the beasts body, sending it splashing into the rainy street and away from me. I quickly moved to my feet, not wanting to wait for another surprise attack. Before I headed to my bike, I walked over to the hell hound, brought my foot up, and slammed it down on its face. I could feel it crackle before the creature left this realm. I brought my attention back to the motorcycle that belonged to Lauren’s father. He was not going to be happy about the scratches that were now on its surface. I picked the bike up, and went to get onto it when I noticed the rest of the hounds watching. Looking up, I checked for anything that might possibly get in the way of an electrical storm. With no helicopters present that I could tell, I stepped forward into the street. “Heavens call, void of roaring thunder, strike down my enemies in your name.” I planted my right arm upwards towards the sky, and immediately thrust it forward. I was unsure if any of them would make it down here or not. Hell, I might end up doing more damage to the actual city, but even if I did, with that much electricity coming down something would end up dead. 400 / 2044 Location: Gothstone Tech : Valley of Clasm on next turn [bringing down the house in Gothstone]

Cathy would speak calmly to Izumi tapping her upon her shoulder. "Izumi, Izumi! You okay? Hello?" Izumi merely blinked and she shook her head and looked to Cathy and just shook her head. "No, I'm fine, I just sorta blanked out for a moment lost in thought, sorry if I worried you." Cathy would merely shake her head and walk away from Izumi. "Well in the meantime, we should be getting our things ready, from what it looks like nothing much is happening."
That was a short conversation before the hell hounds had appeared outside of HQ, which caused a major barraging sounds of bullets firing through the air, which caused everyone inside to bring themselves to high alert. Cathy stopped at the door and merely looked to Izumi. "That doesn't sound right." Cathy uttered as she quickly ran off to find out from someone else what is going on. Izumi would just stand there in Jyn's office as she walked over to her monk's spade bag and look at it. Placing a hand upon her chest she shut her eyes a moment. Do I have to start fighting in this senseless war again? It was more of a meaning towards what her family use to do so long ago. She was unsure of what to do. Her blood deep within her boiled like the pits of hell and told her to do what comes naturally. Izumi would now suddenly start hearing a voice in her head.
What should she do? Part of her wanted to go, and another part of her was telling her to stay. Izumi would merely frown as Cathy returned telling Izumi what was wrong. Izumi would blink as she heard about the barrier about the city being offline, and the hell hounds scouring the city and causing a rukus. Well this was the immiediate information that she had gathered. Izumi gazed to her bag as she pulled out a chair and sat down for a moment. "This is just getting crazy, we probably should be evacuating by now or moving towards a safe house." Cathy side and rubbed her head. "If only it were that easy, dont forget those bastard's are right outside, evacuating from here is going to be rather difficult. I was told that we were to stay inside while the others handle everything outside." Cathy would pull up a seat in front of the desk that Izumi was sitting behind. Izumi looked at Cathy and she nodded her head. "Yes, it's going to be quite the hassle it seems." Cathy would for a moment look to the door and then back to Izumi. "Well I'm going to go see if I can scrounge us some gun's, we need to have out own defenses dont we? I'm sure the boss wont mind, I'll be back." Cathy said as she got up and ran off, quickly slipping herself into the rushing movements that was busily now the active hive known as division 12.
Actions: Merely waiting, as cathy tries to find a gun for herself and Izumi.

With my view of the events ruined by distance and obstacles I am forced to rely on the television coverage. The current channel evidently has no reporters on or even close to the screen since they keep showing a skyline view of the city which is just a better view of the smoke plume that I can see out the damn window. Flipping through the channels I finally find one with a live report. Even if it was only Dood Lord, the one reporter I loathed to watch, I stayed on the current channel to find out what was being said.
The explosion hit a government building in City Metro... sounds like terrorism... gunfire in the background... police handling the terrorists maybe. The story seems to fall into place at first... until something else on the live feed catches my eye. Why had the fool not mentioned the hounds from hell spilling out of the ground and attacking the police forces in the background? Hounds from hell... since when do terrorist cells use hell hounds to do their bidding? Don't they prefer to use scare tactics that can actually be seen by most of the population? Since Dood Lord hadn't mentioned them I am only able to assume that he cannot see them.
With my eyes and ears still trained on the television, I move about the room and begin pulling on some clothes. I couldn't remain up here in my gilded cage, my ivory tower, while snarling beasts from hell attack my city. If those trying to fight them couldn't see them, the hounds could easily spread through the surrounding neighborhoods and eventually reach my location.
Evidently I had been hopeful in my thinking for one more glance out of my window and down to street level showed me that the hounds had already begun to spread through the quieter parts of the city like a dark evil cancer. While I wasn't particularly patriotic when it came to the city I called home, the hounds on the street were dangerously close to my new home and I could not stand for that... oh and they were evil beasts from hell so they have no place here on earth.
I feel something inside me drawing me out to stand against the hounds, I assume that this something is tied to my conscience and overall decent level of humanity so I do not ignore it. Instead I pull on a raincoat to complete the 'sparring' outfit I had slipped on and made my way out of the tower.
I wouldn't attack the hounds head on, not at first anyway, but would observe them from the shadows, try to find out what they were after and why they were here. Should any come too close to the shadows where I was moving, I would be forced to lash out with any one of my various abilities, though I would probably steer clear of anything fire related. As with the demon I figured the element of their home would do little to actually harm them. 512

A call in to my team at work assured me that everything was under control there for the time being. Since I was already dressed and walking out the doors of the apartment building into the rainy night, I decided to go with the plan of visiting Trinity at work to make sure everything was copacetic down there. By the time I walked from the apartment the news hadn't mentioned anything more than 'there was an explosion of some kind in City Metro' so I didn't have many details. I was hoping that there would be a special report or something by the time I got to Ric's to meet up with my sister.
I assumed that the walk to the bar would be an uneventful one, moments after moving onto the sidewalk that particular assumption was proven to be oh so wrong. I soon found myself face to snarling snout with a wolf or dog that smelled powerfully of brimstone. Taking this to be one of the mythical hounds of hell, I fire off a missile blast into the beasts face and take off at a breakneck run for the bar. I had to get there and warn Trin before the hounds start attacking businesses full of patrons. With the injured hound left blocks behind me I am surrounded by the sound of rain and my own footsteps pounding along the pavement, that is until everything goes silent. My feet were still moving though no sound was reaching my ears. Just as I began to freak out and think I had suddenly gone deaf, a calming feeling overtakes me and a voice reaches my ears. The voice addresses the 'Good children of the earth realm' and warns about a swarm of darkness that must be combated by forced of light. My initial response is basically 'no shit', but that thought stops dead in my mind. If this voice was something holy or innately good I didn't think cursing at it would be the best option. The voice goes on to say that City Metro is under attack by the hounds of hell. Again I go to think 'no shit' but stop short, City Metro isn't the only one under attack right now. I would be more than willing to go and lend my services to defend the city core but first I had to defend my home and my family. 401

When Jazz didn't message me back, I figured that he was either sleeping through this or had been called into work to handle whatever might be going on. While fixing the customers who were still in full party mode another round of drinks, the kitchen guys peek their heads out the door and tell me there is a special report by a reporter on scene. Dashing back into the kitchen I stand in awe as I watch Dood Lord's report. I can tell by their reactions that the kitchen staff are only seeing the reporter and the gunfire in the background behind him. They have no idea what exactly the guns are being fired upon, but I do. Ric's call from the bar pulls me away from the tv, he was swamped out there so I had to return to my position and help. In between mixing the endless string of drinks, I told my boss what I had seen on the television screen. His eyes widen in disbelief just before they narrowed to check my sincerity. As soon as he saw that I was not lying to him, he motioned for me to hop up onto the bar and give last call for the night.
Climbing up on top of the scarred wood, I signal the band to cut the music and lift my voice over the boos and complaints being yelled out by the crowd. "Shut your holes! City Metro is under attack. An explosion has gone off at a government building. They are saying it could be the same terrorists from last year. The bar is closing. Finish your drinks and get yourselves home to safety." There were a few more shouted complaints but for the most part the crowd obeyed and launched into a mass exodus out the door. As far as I knew the hounds from hell were only in City Metro, I hoped this would hold true long enough for my customers to make it home safely. At least my regulars all lived nearby, they should be safe even if the hounds start to bleed over into this part of the city.
It took no more than ten minutes to clear out the majority of the crowd. The band was still on stage packing up the last of their gear and their moderate circle of groupies were finishing off their last drinks, but other than them all that were left in the building were employees. Ric was again asking me to stay around until he was sure things were safe or until I got a man to escort me home. The kitchen guys were cleaning up, banging pots and pans like there was no tomorrow, and I was trying to count the drawer down amid all the noise. That's when all sounds faded away and I was left with only a soothing silence before a calming voice filled the void. The message was clear, hounds from hell were attacking City Metro and the 'Good children of the Earth realm' were being tapped to help combat them. When the voice vanished and the noise of the bar returned, I knew I should be on my way to help, I could feel myself being pulled to help. Ric wasn't going to let me get anywhere near the door, not without Jazz or Ingel by my side. Another message is sent to my loving brother, asking him what he was doing and letting him know that I am in need of an escort. If he would actually call me back this time I could explain the voice and the current events to him, but I would have to wait for that call. 615

. Manifest Destiny .
:: The answer comes without glancing over as my eyes are kept on the roads ahead of me and the illuminated dashboard beneath the steering wheel. "I have not," I speak calmly before explaining, "HQ will handle all communications outbound during emergencies." At least, it was my thought and experience thus far that there was no reason for me to call ahead for more info as the Division would most likely give its officers the information they need in order to fullfil their duty. Not soon after saying that, the radio buzzes with the news of the attack in a manner that we as well as the people in the van, would all be able to hear. As it would turn out, the HQ would be under attack and our direction towards the metro would not be in vain as all available units are called to back up the HQ and the on going battle there. The enemy this time seemed to be an infestatoin of Hell hounds or something to that sort. A frown comes to my lips as I mentally think about the degredation of the spiritual status of the world. Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how grim the outcome was on the ongoing battle, we were less than ten minutes away from the Metro. Something happens suddenly when the ground breaks apart the road ahead of us. Seeing a red glow from a growing fissure in the road, I slam on the breaks as the car slides over the road way and stops several meters short of the fissure in a sideways manner with the trailing van following suite. I notice hellish dog like creatures come up and out of the crater which causes my frown to become a bit more grim. There was not way of knowing how many would be attacking from this area, but we couldn't ignore it and leave this section of the city unguarded. I press the communicator in my ear and give the orders to thse in the van stating, "set up the local area barrier and bring out the guns; let's secure this area. It's go time." My hand reaches to the latch on my door as it is opened and I step out of the car popping the trunk. ::

Asakano Seiki :: Manifest Destiny :: Home / East City
All the lights are turned off in the bedroom, but an illuminating glow flickers and spreads shadows across the wall and ceiling with the source being the television in front of my bed. The volume is turned all the way down with the door to my room locked; I didn't want my mom or anyone walking in on me while I was studying. On the ground nearly beneath the bed's wooden frame rests a box of tissues. I sit indianstyle on the fluffy mattress of my bed facing the TV as I watch two women... well, it doesn't matter what they are doing, but they were on the screen in high definition it had my full attention. My good and best friend whom's will be omitted for the time being, was so kind as to lend me some watching material that he said would broaden my horizons. While sitting there, minding my own business, I hear: "Good Children of the Earth Realm, a great swarm of darkness must be combated by a swarm of the light. Your home is being threatened and you must rise together against this dark threat. City Metro is under attack from a league of hounds from the underworld. Vanquish them, defenders of the Earth Realm." Naturally, I fall out of my bed and look left and right and then cover the visual monitor screen with my body, hugging it and trying to figure out why the damn off switch on the thing wasn't working on it. After finally getting the TV to go off, I pause, gripping it, and look around in a spooked manner with my chest heaving up and down, ready to explain what I was doing in the most innocent way imaginable. For that moment and the ones after it, everything is quiet and I see nothing, then I think on the words from the voice. It seemed like the message was in my head and spoke of danger in the city metro. Danger! City Metro! Voices in my head!? I should totally go! As if... I hold my head as I stand to my feet and look around room. It was still new to me, the fact that there were spirits roaming the earth all pretty casually. At first, I thought I was crazy, but over time, I came to realize that I heard (and saw) dead people. Of course, I couldn't tell my mom, or anyone I knew for that matter, about this, but it was something that I was coming to grips with. Suddenly, something catches my attention as I feel something to the side. There was a feeling of danger emitting from close to my house. I stay still, like a cat listening to something distance for a moment before I slowly lower my hands down and pull my pants up. Much like the lead in any scary movie, it was time to go check on that odd feeling I was having.

:: Domen :: After the CGI and visual effects, the large towering demonic male risees from the ground between the demon hounds and the house with his arms folded and looking out at the new challenge. He frowns lightly at the task before him that he felt was unworthy of his time. Confidently, he assures, "this will be a small task." Untucking his arm, he lifts a fist out and curls his arm up with a short, "dark winds rip apart these beasts!" A ripping wave of dark energy cuts the distance between the hounds and the demon for the opening blow against them.

I gave a nod to what Jyn had to say as I turned my attention back to the road. As I watched the road ahead of us, waiting for us to get back to HQ, something unexpected happened ahead of us, the ground breaks apart and a red glow is emited from the break in the road. As Jyn slams on the breaks, I reach up above the door for the 'oh shit' handle above the door and brace my self as the car slides across the road before it came to a stop. Once the car had came to a stop I releaded the handle above the door and glanced over to Jyn before shifting my attention to the fissure, noticeing the dog like creatures that were starting to come out of it.. Right now it was one of those moments that someone would think they are seeing things or they just stumbled onto the set of a movie, but with what I had seen in the past I knew this indeed was happening and when the orders from Jyn came, I knew it was going down.
Pushing the towel off my lap, I reach over and open the door, following suit and making my way out of the car. As I exit the car, I glance back to the trunk Jyn had opened before turning my attention back to the hounds that where climbing out of the fissure, " .. So how are we going to play this Jyn? ". Back in the van, the order Jyn had given over the radio was met with enthusiastic 'hell yeahs!' and 'lock'n'load!' as the rest of our squad began to move out of the van before they began to take up positions behind what cover they could find.

Manifest Destiny
I didn't have time to respond to what Grunty had to say before she was on her way again. " You should follow after her Lancy, forget about this stupid human's mission and lets go. " As the voice spoke to me, I glanced around for a moment to get my barrings, though the voice wanted me to go a different way, I wasn't sure if I should... Since Grunty was already on her way somewhere else, I began to move once more, heading once again towards the Division 12 building. The sounds of gunfire had already filled the air, eminationg from the area I was heading too.
My advance was brought to an abrupt halt as I turned a corner, only to find a large hole in the ground with some strange dog creatures surrounding it. When I seen this I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at the creatures before me. My first thought was to back track and find a way around this new development, however, I was unable to do so.. I was in the prossess of taking a step when one of the creatures attention shifted to me. When the beast seen me I came to a stop once more and looked across the distance at it as it looked back at me. As we gazed at each other we made eye contact for a moment before the thing let out a hellish howl before it charged for me.
As soon as the thing let out the howl, I knew there was no way to get away with out some sort of confrontation. While the beast ran at me, I reached into my coat, gripping two of my throwing knives and quickly pulled my arm from my coat and launched them at the creature as it charged for me. After launching the knives at the beast, I reached back into my coat and gripped the handle of one of my knife and pulled it from its sheath and out of my coat. Though the throwing knives I had thrown hit the beast they did little to stop the thing in its charge and when it got closer it lunged forwards, snapping at me with its jaws. With the thing lunging at me, I was forced to step back as it's jaws snapped at me. After my initial dodge I was able to lash out at the beast as it moved for me again to close the short gap I had created between us. Lashing out with my knife, I slashed the hound across the face before going for another attack. My attention having shifted to the one that came at me, I didn't see the other one that was advancing for me..
