The engine revved like a purring kitten and soon roared down the street like a thunderous tiger. She loved that sound it made her grin with evil intentions of doing some crazy stunts with this car. But those were few moments she had thoughts like that, right now she was on her day off. Off from her secretarial work and from her acting work. Life sure has been busy since she had returned from the forest. Right now she was looking to relax and she had thought of the perfect spot which was Starlight Point. It's a rather high point in the northern hieghts at overlooks the entire ocean and gives you a very clear view of the stars at night espcially the true northern star. It was a a perfect relaxation spot for her right now. It was a highly protected place and there shouldn't be any spirits around. Well it didn't matter to her so long as they weren't hostile she wouldn't have to destroy them. She came up to the parking spot to Starlight Point. It seemed like no one was really there, she didn't see any other cars parked in the parking lot. She came out and locked her car and placed her keys between her breasts. She looked up to the top of the point and she had smiled. there was a very nice breeze and the sun was out. "It feels nice." she uttered to herself as she would start to walk towards the bottom of Starlight point. She stopped a moment and she looked around. Was someone in the area? She saw nothing and merely shrugged her shoulders and she began to make her way to the top of the point.

The beautiful stars. That was all that I could really think about right now. The nights had been clear lately, and it was really nice to get back out and about. Things were finally settling down at Lauren’s manor, and the cops had started to lay off the area. I had just recently been able to start going outside again, but only when Lauren was with me. My secret was more important to her than anything. As long as she kept me safe, I would protect her whenever she needed it. It was hard getting around without one of those pesky humans messing around with my stuff. I moved quickly through the underbrush, trying to avoid the main road before getting to the cliffs. Upon arrival, I perched myself up on the rocks, looking over the ocean. I could feel the soft, fall air floating around my body. There was a gleam of sunlight across the water, so I sat upon the rock and watched the soft waves down on the beach in the distance. I couldn’t feel anyone really around me, so I relaxed a bit. A soft, blue and yellow glow would lightly be given off in my relaxed mood. It would probably have been better to be in my other form, but it was easier to get in and out of Laurens manner as a simple cat.

For now there wasnt anything to worry about. She had her phone set to vibrate and it was located where it always was on the inside jacket pocket of her jacket. She normally never got a call, but she had it for just in case of an emergency. Izumi would continue to make her way up the point heading for the top. As she would walk her mind would wander as she was remembering the last time she was up here. It was many years ago, and it has changed since then, but it was still generally the same. Back then it seemed a bit more peaceful then now. Now it seemed like this place had been disturbed many times over. Soon she came close to the top, the walk wasn't bothering her at all since she's walked farther especially in heels. She was close to the top when she stopped again. There was that feeling again as though your being followed. Geez, since she's been apart of Division 12 things just gotten more paranoid around her and she keeps getting this being followed feeling. But from what she could see, there wasn't anything in the area. She turned her head and look towards the top of the point and finally she would arrive there. She stopped her walking as she looked out to the point and she had a broad gentle smile. She walked up near the rock that was near by but she stood next to it and just kept her gazed focused upon the ocean. she had just yet to notice the feline that was settled upon the rock since her focus was upon the view.

I sat there, overlooking the ocean waves while wondering about the other realm. I had not the energy to get back up there right now, but it would be soon. I really had nothing to worry about. Now that I had been able to return to my normal self, I could restart my training. The first stage had gone over rather well, and now all I had left to do was figure out how to open up my lightning passages once again. That was the trick to purifying your internal energy. By forcing it slowly through spiritual filters, a being could refine it over and over until it was able to reach its peak energy output. Unfortunately for me, most of my energy filters were closed off from the battle with my brother, the ice dragon. I narrowed my view and kept forward, standing up to all fours for a moment, then returning to my seated place. I could hear footsteps coming up from behind me. Tightening the muscles through my body, I tried to relax, with the idea of keeping myself unnoticed. I didn’t really have time to hit the bushes, so instead I just sat there. A young human lady waltzed up and stood there, only a couple feet away from me. I looked at her, tilting my head to the side with a hint of curiosity. There was something interesting about her. I watched her for a few moments, waiting to see if she was going to make a move. After a bit of boredom, I decided to go just a little bit further. Something told me it was a bad idea, but then again, I really didn’t take too much to my gut feelings. I was the lightning tiger after all, so hesitation wasn’t really one of my finest qualities. Then again, neither was thinking ahead. “meow.” [311/ 543]

As she stood there gazing toards the lovely view. she heard a meow, the first thing that came to her mind was Little Ghost, from her boss's apartment. But he didn't follow her, she left him in the apartment, didn't she? Why would she think something like that would happen? She turned her gaze now over to where the meow had came from and it was most certaintly indeed a cat. She stared at it a moment taking in it's appearance and she soon came to a smile. "Awwwww..." she started out first as she faced the small feline. "It's a kitty." she said in a cutesy type of voice as she crouched down to look at the feline face to face, when she did this motion, glasses that was resting upon her head just dropped down. They looked like they were perscription glasses, but they weren't merely there to add into her appearance, she's been told glasses made her look better. But that's to the opinion of others. She rested her arms upon her lap as she still smiled. "Hello little one, what are you doing here? I take it your enjoying the view also. I hope I didn't interupt anything. I just came to watch the view myself and watch the sun go down."

The only thing that could have possibly gone through my head at this point of time was “helloooo nurse”. I saw that on a TV back at the mansion a couple weeks ago. The lady was beautiful for a human. I sat in front of her with a smile on my face. The sun was slowly starting to descend towards the watery horizon. Her glasses accented her overall appearance quite nicely. Lifting my weight up off of my hind legs, I moved towards her just a bit. Twisting my body, my tail rose upwards and curled while I walked in a light circle around her present location. Another meow pressed between my lips while I stopped right in front of her, and sat down. Her voice was soft and pleasant, making it rather relaxing to the ears. It had been a long day of hard work, and a decent hike up these hills in this body. The last thing that I needed was to stress out about something stupid or useless. Thankfully, she was neither. With the best tone I could manage, I let a soft purr come out of my lips to let her know I was on friendly terms. [211 / 754]

Izumi merely blinked as she thought she saw a smile on the cats face. Was her eyes playing tricks on her? Last she remembered was that cats can't smile. Could they? she shrugged it off and merely figured her eyes playing tricks on her as the kitty had walked in a light circle around her as if inspecting her. Izumi would turn her head as she watched the kitty, when the kitty got to the point where her head couldn't turn that way, she merely turned her head in the opposite direction to meet the kitty on the otherside and follow him as her walked in front of her. She merely giggled from what she saw, it seemed that this cat was use to human, was it possible that this cat was owned or constantly given attention to by humans? She heard the feline purring and she merely closed her eyes in a pleasent manner as she smiled. "Would it be okay if we watched the sunset? The stars from here are extremely beautiful so lets watch them together, okay?" she uttered in a soft voice as she would get up and move over a little closer to the edge of Starlight point and she sat down with her legs on either side of her, and she would gaze back to the kitty and she patted the soft grass next to her. "Sit next to me."

I tried to not nod my head in response to her words. I didn’t want her to think that I actually understood her or anything, but it was quite difficult to resist the temptation to relax a little bit. I twisted my body around and sat there to watch her relocate. She was kind of cute now that I thought about it. Oh well. I had my angel on the other side, well, if she even knew that I was still alive. A light chuckle came through my mind when I stood up. This was a really, really bad idea. I probably should have hit the bushes as soon as she showed herself, but it was far too late for that now. Shrugging my shoulders, I waltzed over to her side where she patted the ground, and plopped. The grass was rather soft, and greatly enjoyable. I had tried to come up here at least once every week or so, and I had never seen her here. It made me wonder who she was. She didn’t really look like the high and mighty type that graced us with their presence. Oh well. Maybe she would slip up or something and tell me. I didn’t want to be direct here, especially not with where I was. I couldn’t tell if she was armed or not, and that slightly bothered me. If things did go the wrong way, I wouldn’t have much to do in terms of escape, besides actually running. Then again, I did that rather well lately. [257 / 1011]

Izumi would turn her head back towards the view and just watch. IF the kitty left, it left, if it came it came. It didn't bother her which the feline decided to do. She merely shifted her eyes the moment she saw the cat sit next to her. At least the kitty was capable of understanding. Someone must have taught it some tricks. This feline was too docile to just be a stray. her eyes returned to looking ahead of her as she would talk to the feline as though it actually understood. "This place is really beautiful, I try to come here at least once a month or so, mostly i'm capable of making it when i have some free time." She had her hands resting upon her lap as she kept her eyes foreward. IT was too bad this feline cat can't talk, she felt kinda stupid talking to herself like this. "I use to come here a lot many years back."

I sat there on the soft grass beside her while gazing out across the waves. Her voice was nice and soft, and took part of my sore shoulders away. I lay down for a moment of thought while thinking about my next course of action. If she told anyone, I doubted anyone would believe her. With only a feeling in my stomach, I decided to go ahead and look at the sunset through a normal type of vision, not an obscured one. It wasn’t like I was an evil demon that wanted to consume her flesh or anything like that, I just wanted to watch the sunset with her. I stood up and walked a few feet away from her. Trying to focus a bit on my internal passageways, I pushed through two of them, allowing my body to glow a soft shade of blue. A little crackle of electricity would emerge, but would be kept under control. The last thing I needed was a fight. Standing upwards, the light would shift into a new form. “that’s a bit better..” I pulled my hand up and ran it through my hair. The soft yellow strands had survived the transformation once again. It was only the second time I had done it, and I was still getting used to it again. After spending so much time in that form, I had almost become content with it. What a waste that would have been. I looked past the young lady and stepped to the cliff, ignoring her for a moment. “Its beautiful.” [260 / 1271]

Izumi kept her gaze onto the view until she noticed a blue glow in her peripheral which caused her to look in it's direction. It was the kitty that was the next to her, it was being covered in sparks and a blue glow. she merely blinked, well this comfirmed that the feline was a spirit of sorts, maybe a demon. She merely watched it as it transformed into a man and blinked taken a back by it. Well this was her first experience with a feline that transformed into a human, so she was indeed surprsied, but it bearly showed upon her face. with her family background and the line of work she ended up in, this shouldn't be as surprising as it was. She merely placed her fingers upon her glasses and shifted them up on her nose a bit. Taking that time to sort her mind out. okay...so the kitty that I was talking to was an otherworldly being.... her blue eyes shifted to him a moment as he stated that the view was beautiful. not a bad looking guy at that...okay Izumi, keep calm...no need to freak out about this. It's irrelavent to freak out....right? I mean i've seen worse, just about a month ago i was fighting a giant worm for god sakes. Izumi would then lower her fingers from her glasses as she returned them to her lap and she smiled happily. "The scenery hasn't changed in years, and no matter how many times I come here, it's still a breath taking view."

I stood there with my legs slightly spread. My back was sore from the workout earlier, but it felt really, really good to stretch out. A diet of just fish wasn’t going to cut it now that I had gained access to my normal form. The sun was beginning to descend across the open sky. There were a few clouds that moved aimlessly without purpose, but none of them came near the bright orange glow. The blue waters were glittery in the distance, shining like a thousand pearls . I tilted my head back, letting the soft, gentle breeze carry my dirty blonde hair back away from my body. Before it could settle, I turned slightly to smile at the young lady. It was nice to make eye contact, if only for a short moment. I didn’t let myself look her over, for I had seen enough when I was in my weaker form. “I try to make it up here every week. It’s a beautiful view, and it takes stress of the mind. I’m not from around here, so it’s hard to find something still untouched by the destructive ways of your race” I released a light laugh at the thought of being something completely different from her. A fact was a fact. Speaking of that, I wondered who she was.. “So cutie, you got a name?” [229 / 1500]

Izumi would listen to him and merely allow herself to think about how the hitorinji's acted and such and she merely shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't sure what he was talking about. All sorts of races causes destruction upon the land, whether it be human, or demon, or even spirit, but she didn't bother making a mention of this and merely she smiled and gazed back towards the sun that was slowly falling on the horizon. This place they lived in was a place completely and entirely built by humans, so having actually land was difficult since this place wasn't exactly grown onto the earth many many years ago. So he tries to make it to this place at least once a week to release his stress. What could he be stressing about? He's some sort of spirit, what would he need to stress about? Izumi took a moment to think and merely looked to him when he asked if she had a name. It was a simple question. "I do have a name." she answered it. She didn't feel the need to actually say her name because he didn't ask what he name was. She merely smiled a little after she said what she said. Finding it a little funny.

A name was nice. I had nearly forgotten my own while trapped inside that stupid cats body. If it weren’t for the nightmares of my defeat ever night, I would surely have slipped into a life of seclusion without even realizing it. I liked her voice. It was rather soothing, much like Laurens. Something Lauren did when she first found me was sing at night. It helped me get to sleep. I wondered if this girl had a home of her own, or if she was from the city. I had been drawn to the city, but for some reason I couldn’t get there. It was a troubling thing, but it was what it was. I turned my body to face her for a moment, shifting my weight backwards onto my left heel for a moment to slide it around. My left hand found its way to my pocket, and my right hand moved gently through my hair once again. “If it’s as nice as your voice, I look forward to hearing it.“ I wondered if it would be okay for me to give my name. I was unsure of the humans Intel on the spirit world. If they knew of the political battles that we had inside our own ranks, it would be a great disadvantage and a possible disaster for me if they found out who I was. The lightning tiger was a name I had been given through combat, it wasn’t something that was earned easily. Unfortunately, with that came responsibility and I had to tread lightly here. [261 / 1761 ]

Izumi watched this guy and merely listened to him as she kept a calm composure, niether looking as though she was impressed with his looks, or surprised that he just transformed. She just kept calm and pleasently happy looking with a very gentle sincereness to her. She giggled to when he complimented upon her voice. "Why thank you." she uttered as she noticed that so far he passed his hands through his hair twice, was this a habit? Or was he conceited with his looks that he thinks that passing his hand through his hair would improve his looks? It mattered not to Izumi. "My name is Hiramoto, Izumi Hiramoto." She knew somethings about the spiritual realm, but that was only as far as what was in her family's library in the woods. She hasn't read them all, so theres still a lot of information for her to read up on, but she hasn't been there much to find out anymore. "what is your name gentle feline spirit?" she asked him as though it was casual to speak to a spiritual entity.

I turned back to watch the sun as it slowly declined across the horizon. It cast lines of orange and purple shades across the sky. The beautiful colors were exactly what I had come here for after all. Her voice was rather nice, and every word that she spoke sent a little chill up my spine. There was something about it that was entrancing. I thought about her question for a moment. It was a rather simple one, that couldn’t be avoided. I didn’t want to lie to her, but I couldn’t exactly tell her everything. If she worked for the government or military, this could be a disaster. Oh well. I guess I could just take things as they came. If all else failed, I could probably throw her off the cliff or something. I hope it didn’t get to that though. I turned back to face the sunset while putting my right hand into its respective pocket. Maybe things would be okay. Besides, I kind of had a good feeling about this one. Lauren wasn’t going to like it, but nothing said I had to tell her either. “Sanzon.. Sanzon Loki.” [193 / 1954]

This guy seemed rather refined in the way he spoke and how he stood. Izumi kept her eyes upon him now merely awaiting for his answer. From what she read off of his of his body movements and the way he sounded alone, she guessed as much that he must have been in some high society of some sort. It seems that even in the otherworld there was things such as class. She finally gotten that answer that she was waiting for. Sanzon Loki, she merely gazed at him and thought about his name a moment. For some aching reason it sounded as though it was something everyone should know, but she couldn't get her finger upon it. "Sound's commanding...." she uttered as she giggled soon after that. Her blue eyes looked over to the sun as it was getting closer and closer to fully disappearing into the horizon. "this place gets so beautiful at night. I hope you dont have to return back anytime soon." Izumi wasn't stupid, from the way he acted towards a human in cat form, he must have had some interactions with humans before plus he seemed to hold some form of respect towards humans also, since he didn't just come out with some sort of superiority complex about him.

A quiet hum started off, some distance from the peak, gradually growing to a loud hum, then a roar. A rather young figure emerged, riding atop a black bike that appeared to be armored, oddly enough. On the side, a rather noticeable red swastika was painted, which the man dusted off briefly once he'd parked some 30 feet away from the others and dismounted. Removing his helmet, the man shook out his hair, which fell like so much curly spun gold about his shoulders. His overall dress didn't say "skinhead" so much as "rich kid looking fashionably poor", with his ripped black jeans and grungy band shirt. His steel-toed Doc Martin boots were well polished, however, and other than the almost theatrically smudged shirt, the rest of the young man appeared meticulously groomed. Opening up the trunk of the bike, or rather, lifting up a piece of the armor that had a compartment beneath, he withdrew an easel, a canvas, and various paints, both normal and oddly labelled. "Oh darn... I hope this sunset lasts a little bit more..." he said aloud to himself. "I knew I should've come earlier...". Removing his fingerless gloves, the newcomer set up his easel, noticing briefly that there were others there and flashing a broad smile in their general direction, almost stumbling in his hurry to get his paints and brushes in order so he could begin.

I had spent a decent amount of time down here lately. There was some internal conflict going on in the other world, and with that came the fall of several spirits that were just biding their time to make it back home. I was one of those, and I wouldn’t allow anything to stop me from returning. If t hadn’t been for Lauren finding me outside her mansion when I fell from the other world, I would have probably died. I kept my eyes on the glowing light in the distance, and relaxed a bit. The moon would be glowing soon, giving me a beautiful night to walk home to. I wouldn’t stay out late tonight. Lauren had been worrying about me lately, so I would have to satisfy her for a bit before I returned to my normal ways. I shook my head and slid to the side, taking my attention past this young lady as she spoke about my name being ‘commanding’. Funny choice of words on that one. There was a rumble in the distance, and another figure came into view. A dirty, loud, disgusting vehicle that spit up dirt behind it, and some hippy artist? Great, just what I needed to deal with. I shook my head and turned back to the sunset as it slowly began to disappear for the day. “So, do I get a name, or just memory of your smile..” [238 / 2192]

Izumi was also side trcked a moment by the loud rumbling noise of the motorcycle that drove it's way up the cliff. there was a parking lot at the bottom of the cliff, but this person seemed to be in a rush to get to the top so they just drove up here. She looked at the rider and merely blinked at what he was wearing, it looked to be too clean to be even ragged, as though it was store bought that way. It didn't look exactly natural to be wear and tear. Was this a person who lived in this area that tried to fit in with crowds of lower standings? Rather odd, but no matter Izumi would look back towards the feline spirit as he asked for her name a second time, she merely giggled as she had already said her name. "I've already said my name, it seems to me that you weren't paying much attention. My name is Izumi Hiramoto."

It appeared the most brilliant part of the sunset faded some minutes ago, to the young man's disappointment. The fellow of the pair he stood away from didn't look too friendly, or rather, the way he shook his head lead him to believe he'd somehow offended him. The stand was erected in short order, and it seemed like an appropriate time to apologize. "Sorry, Mister Spirit..." the man said gently and in perfect innocence. "I didn't mean to interrupt anything." Truth be told, this incubus was an entity who'd been able to see a ghostly mist around spirits all of his life and it didn't occur to his naive mind that such a thing wasn't the case with everyone who could see them at all. The spirit's color indicated that he hailed from a good home, though, and the intensity of the aura said that he wasn't a threat... not that he'd want to fight a kamikonjou unless circumstances forced it... One baked him cookies awhile back. Opening one of the oddly labeled paint jars, he observed the color and dumped some unceremoniously on his pallet. Glow in the dark sea green... phosphorescent paints were so cool! Even if he missed the sunset the lack of light would afford for some cool light painting. Perhaps he could do a space scene... or some whimsical mushrooms... or the design for that parsley hat he wanted.

I almost felt insulted that the other one had made so much noise. I hadn’t payed attention enough to bother catching him call me “spirit”. I wasn’t in a mood to really play tonight. Besides, I was just now beginning to get my energy back. Maybe in a few weeks when I had regained most of it, I might think about it. I looked at the girl once again, and apologized. “Apologies.. I wasn’t paying attention for a second there. The beautiful view wrecked my train of thought.” Looking back to the male, and his apparent artsy taste, I spoke over to him. Merely gazing at him with her calm demeanor she stared and took in how he acted, and how he spoke. she seemed so refined and from what she noticed. He seemed to treat males a lot differently then women. slight shift in tones was apparent to her when he had apologized to her and made the excuse that the view distracted him from listening to her, which she hardly believe but said nothing about it, and when he spoke to the artsy poor-wanna-be looking rich boy there. Well she would be irritated too because of the noise of the vehicle, but she got here first and the view does't make any noise so there was no need for her to get irritated about anything. She merely would watch what would unfold between the two, would this feline spirit break into a fight with this spiritually aware person here? It sorta surprised Izumi to know that, that even in the rich society there were spiritually aware people. This would be interesting to watch.

"Mmm? Oh, you mean my bike?" The tone of the word "bike" was one usually reserved for talking about one's children when they made all A's in school and were packing up for Harvard on a full scholarship. "Ah, yes... that noise is the engine. I got this for my sixteenth birthday, it was made from an old King Tiger tank. Technically it's not street legal, but my dad had a lot of money for the police way back when. I don't take it out much anymore, I have to ride my normal black one... but this baby's my favorite." After his small spill, the enthusiast finally registered that the other hadn't been necessarily impressed by the noise. Then again, displeasure with his precious bike proved a hard concept for the man to comprehend. "Oh! You mean you didn't like the noise... oh, well..." Bowing politely, the man apologized and smiled, "I didn't know. Please accept my genuine... umm... sorries. As I said I don't get to take her out much." (charm) Standing back erect, the incubus looked the other in the eyes and hoped that he would excuse the bike and perhaps stay. Painting was cool, but painting in the company of others was cooler.

I turned my body around to face the last piece of light. The sky was shifting its colors once again, and deep shades of crimson and gold filled the skyline. The stars were already starting to speckle lightly in the opposite direction, and I could guess that the city lights would be glowing rather soon. There was something about this human that didn’t feel right. It was the smell. Maybe I was just thinking too hard on it, but I decided to keep myself facing away from them. I shook my head and looked to the girl once again. “Maybe we should leave the artist to his duties, we are after all in the way of his picture.. how about a nice walk in the sand? The stars will be out soon after all..” I extended my hand to her, wondering if she would take me up on that offer. I didn’t really want to keep Lauren waiting, but if I could relax for a bit and catch up on the latest news from the city, it would be worth it in the end. I almost felt bad for keeping my lady waiting, but she had to understand that I needed room to stretch my legs. A walk on the beach was perfect for that. [215 / 2537]

Izumi would take a moment to look over to the artist person and then look towards Loki. It seemed like the whole conversation thing was just annoying him. At least thats how she was taking it. Or was it the fact that there was a male in the area, and Loki might have some internal territorial issues or something like that. She didn't know why for sure. but she kept silent and merely gazed towards the horizon as the sun disappeared, and her eyes would slowly shift towards the sky as the stars would begin to make thier appearance. This was the best place to see the stars and the whole reason she was here. Loki would suggest and idea to Izumi and she merely turned her head to look at him. "It's quite alright, i came up here to watch the stars it's the best view and if this artist has any skill, it wouldn't matter if we were in the way or not." She wasn't going to leave just because someone was arriving into the area to paint the scenery. She did come here before him after all, she had all right to be here.

Oddly enough, the guy seemed to have faced away during the apology. Perhaps he was shy or, like a few yokai the incubus had run into during his lifetime, saw direct eye contact as a sign of aggression. This latter conclusion was soon reinforced by the fact that the other expressed desire to vacate the area. The Looking out towards the stars, the artist tried to think of a good way to apologize. The previous, traditional methods had only made things worse, and now the other wouldn't even look in his general direction. Now, this one had all his life sought the approval of others, and this other seeming so irritated by his mere presence presented an unacceptable problem. Picking up his easel, the man began to walk towards the pair. "I'm sorry, Mister Spirit, I didn't mean to scare you. You aren't in the way, honest. See?" Setting the easel down about 5 feet away, he looked up at the sky, "I can see things perfectly from here. I'm not trying to start a fight with you. Ummm..." he rubbed the back of his head nervously. "Look, maybe we started off on the wrong foot. My name's Moskva, but you can call me Moskau. Is there any reason we can't be friends? I can show you a trick."

I brought my right hand up through my hair. It was nice to be able to do that again. I scratched the back of my head for a moment and took a deep breath of the warm fall ocean air. It wouldn’t be long before it started to cool down, and the leaves would begin to fade. I listened to Izumi deny my offer. Oh well, there were always other chances for me to meet her up here ,especially if this was a normal thing for her. I kept that in the back of my mind while the other approached us. Moskau? What a weird name? There were some really strange humans out there, but this female took the cake. I watched her cautiously. She really, really didn’t smell right. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but something in my gut told me she wasn’t entirely human. Humans had a very distinct aroma, and it was something that I had become well accustomed to while spending time among a human family. I sighed lightly while giving her the chance to prove her sanity to me. “a trick? What kind of trick… on second thought, don’t answer.. go for it, show me a trick.” [204 / 2741]

She now took interest in what was unfolding it seemed that this artist was the kind that didn't like to stir trouble, or rather didn't like having the bad blood grow within two people. It was all the more interesting to her to see how this would unfold, this spirit here was rather different from the others she had met in her life. So she was curious to see how he'd react. Though she had to admit though this scene here was rather cute. One seeming so inept as being sincere to other people that aren't to his taste while the other seem too kind to let badness ensue. Her head was shifted over to them as she wasn't staring at the view but to them so exactly see what this trick could be.

Moskau smiled broadly. "Showing a trick" was a last resort when it came to other people, as it sometimes involved blowing his cover, or rather, showing that the image he so carefully cultivated every morning and showed to the world wasn't his true self. A spirit was there, however, and the girl seemed aware that he was a spirit, so nothing the man could perform would probably freak either of them out. Clapping briefly, and with the energy of a parakeet, he announced, "Ok, since I like you both, I'll give each of you a separate trick. Miss, I think I may have been ignoring you so far and interrupting your time with your guy friend, so I'll do yours first. Now..." Opening his hands, he showed both sides. "Nothing in my hands..." Indicating his shirt and his tight jeans, he continued, "...and nothing up my sleeves." Taking two steps back, the man cupped his hands together, as though he was holding water and whirled suddenly, completing three rotations and, coming to a stop, held what looked like a baby black rabbit with bat wings and very large scarlet eyes in his once empty hands up to the lady. "Ta da!" The creature blinked and looked around, as though the landscape had changed very suddenly, then scratched its head with it's back foot, to all appearances alive at least.

I looked at the young one while he spun around several times. I was curious to what type of trick involved getting yourself dizzy. Oh well. I chuckled in my head at the thought of him falling over. I yawned for a moment, realizing that it was getting late. My gaze shifted over to the girl, who I thought about for a brief moment. She was rather attractive, and the orange glow behind her better suited her body shape. A light smile came across my face as I brought my eyes back to the other one. He finally stopped, and in his hands sat a little.. what the hell was it? I almost wanted to try to shock it to see, but any form of aggression might be taken the wrong way, and that was the last thing that I wanted here. I looked at it curiously, without speaking a single word. It looked like a rabbit, but had wings. Was it a lower level demon? “hhm... that’s interesting..” [170 / 2911]

She would blink as attention was finally brought to her and she had giggled and smiled merely shaking her hand. "no, no it's not neccessary...okay you're...doing it anyway..." halfway in her sentence her voice softened and merely got weaker as this person did his trick for her and summoned forth a chimera. She merely tilted her head staring at this mixed creature. "It's a Chimera...." A chimera being a mixture of two animals or more, it doesn't have to be any certain kind of animals but any animal will do. "How cute." she said giving him a gentle smile. While it was an odd thing to see, but Izumi found it rather adorable.

Guaging by the audience's reaction, the trick hadn't bombed. That was good... you never could tell who had a fear of... demonic, winged rabbits. "Yes ma'am. His name is Diggy." He smiled, performing a showman's bow. So that one was accomplished, now all that remained was to impress the other. "You really thought that was a neat trick, Mister?" There probably weren't many tricks that would impress a spirit... it would have to be something pretty flamboyant. After a few minutes, the flying rabbit hopped shortly out of its summoner's hands and fluttered over to to the motorcycle, disappearing into the darkness of the compartment that the easel came from and reemerging with a big, red bullfighter's cape. Quickly, Moskau checked to make sure the others were watching. If they were, he would hold the cape to his left and shake it off to show that there was nothing in it or on it except a swastika or 2 and continue on with the magic. Tossing the cape, he let it descend on his form, covering the flash that took place underneath it. Shedding the cloth carefully, it would be apparent that the man had been transformed in several minor, but significant ways. His face and neck were much softer, more feminine, his hair was no longer curly and gold, but long, straight, and a soft shade of lavender. Lower down, his chest now supported a shapely pair of breasts, and his hips had become the child bearing variety. The only clothing that remained on the new form was the red cape, which was left wrapped around the person's hips like a long skirt. "Her" eyes, now a little bit more almond shaped and golden amber, looked to the recipient of the trick to gauge his reaction. "Ta da!"

I thought I smelled something funny. A female spirit taking control of a human male was not on my to-do list for today. That was an interesting sight. The scent of a what I referred to as a spirit slut had revealed itself to me. Now it all made sense. I would most definitely have to keep my remarks to myself on this one. I simply shook my head at the sight of the Succubus. It made me wonder i the human girl had ever see none before. I guess that could go either way since she was fine with me. The succubus had a light, airy voice that was a bit more appealing than the humans. Then again, that was to be expected since they were natural hunters of men. “I thought I smelled spirit on you. How long have you been living off of this one? Or do you prefer to think of it as more of a mutual relationship..”
I wondered if my questions would bother her at all. I had gone through a bad experience with one of these critters a couple years ago, and with that nearly my lost my life. Forgive me for harboring a bit of personal animosity, but that was how things went down. Still though, I was curious to why she would show me this. There had to be another reason for this display, especially around two people who she had never met. Maybe she was just careless, but whatever the reason, I wanted to know what it really was. Izumi would watch as this guy was just performing his little magic trick. It wa sinteresting to know that the chimera held a name. Must have been with this person for quite sometime so it to have a name and be as calm as it was. the little magician continued on with his trick and transformed into, well a woman. Izumi would arch a brow. It was rather an interesting trick. She looked towards Loki and listened to what he said, how long has he been living off of this one? Izumi would look back towards the succubus, in which at the moment she didn't know this male/female was a succubus. "How can you be certain that she's livng off of him? Maybe it's just a custom disguise like you are with the cat, unless you spirits only take over beings instead of physically manifesting yourselves. If so, then thats rather an upsetting thing to do, either of you." she said softly, she was niether mad, nor happy. It was just calm and smooth. She looked towards the Succubus and stared, quite an interesting sight to say the least.

The cubus blinked her eyes, as though a little bit confused. "Oh! Right..." He figured the spirit would probably figure out what he was, a person that serious couldn't possibly lack sufficient powers of observation, however, he didn't expect the man to react in such a way that he'd want a spirit to spirit chat, however brief. "Oh? You wanted to talk directly to Belle?" The voice was still light and pleasant, due to the change in his throat, but a greater calmness existed in the person now than was ordinarily discernable. "She's not all the way here, hasn't been for some time, but if you want I'll let you talk to her. I figure she should get to talk to her own kind every once in awhile." As he talked, Digger once again went into the shadowy trunk of the motorcycle, this time emerging with a very big, gray rock. Fluttering with great difficulty, the creature arrived at a point in the air directly above the cubus and unceremoniously dropped the brick. The woman immediately fell unconscious to the ground from the force, but after the space of about five seconds propped herself back up on her elbows. "Ow... my head. Ugh... why'd he wake me up?" Though the voice had stayed the same, the woman's accent changed slightly... more sluggish and less childish. Looking to the left and to the right, she spotted the two people and stood all the way up. "Oh... you. Guy and chick. I remember. You had questions..." Dusting off the makeshift skirt, the woman put both her arms behind her head and continued, looking almost bored. "Eh... I'd call it more along the lines of a friendship. Was perfectly consensual. This guy was a little boy looking to run away from home, I was wandering looking for someone a bit open minded. Betrothing does that to ya. Opens your mind that is. I gave him the means to deceive and survive until he was a bit older. He has a lot to thank me for. I'd call it a good deal. Unfortunately, he likes to show off and insists I need 'fresh air' every once in awhile or some shit, but I don't care as long as he lets me chill the rest of the time. What's it to ya?" The last sentence she uttered carried a slightly more hostile tone, as though she expected there to be some problem, but at the same time her body language remained audaciously relaxed. These two didn't seem able or willing to generate a problem that the spirit and its host couldn't jointly take care of. Rubbing her eyes with one hand, she casually noticed the way the other woman was looking. "S'Not polite to stare. Not that I mind, Princess."

Well now, this seemed more interesting that I had originally thought. A human who actually agreed to let a spirit take control of them. Usually it was a forced possession and the human had no choice. Something smelled fishy here, and it wasn’t the ocean either. I watched her as she spoke, taking careful note to the lengths she put on words. Sometimes you could figure out subtleties from the way people spoke. Then again, this was a succubus we were talking about. Aye, this would probably end up being more of a pain than anything else I would do this week. I shrugged my shoulders and completely turned my body to face Izumi for a moment. “I believe her response answered both of our questions..Now.”
Turning back to the succubus, I took a light step towards her. I hadn’t came in contact with any other spirit since I had came to this realm. It would probably be a good thing for me to get to see how this realm truly operated, from the perspective of someone who currently resided here full time. “Judging by what you just said, you seem to have been there for a prolonged amount of time, so I have a question. What is the current status for spirit human relations? I haven’t been down here in a really long time, and was curious to know if they were as bad as they used to be..” [240 / 3410]

Listening to all of this from the succubi and it pretty much answered what was asked earlier about it being a possession or not. Her eyes would casually shift between the succubi who was talking and then loki merely to catch his reaction and to pay attenton to what was being said. Then the surprising thing occured as the little chimera brought out a large rock and dropped it onto the succubi's head and knocked her out. this actually surprised her. Spirits are wierd... She thought to herself when the female finally rose up.
This day was just well a bit out there to say the least. She met two spirits. One who took the form of a cat and another who took possesssion of a boy. The last comment by the succubi towards her caused Izumi to arch a brow as she would stand up after that and she dusted herself off as she would respond. "I wasn't staring I was merely paying attention, if paying attention to what you have to say is rude then I apologize." she uttered in a proffessional manner as the look upon her face went back to how it was earlier calm and mostly emotionless. She lifted her glassed above her head as she would look towards Loki as he asked about the relationship humans had with spirits. Izumi would respond first. "It depends on what sort of human your speaking with. theres varous different relationships, but for the most part the government is keeping the whole spirits thing quiet from the rest of the public and kept secure by a certain division that handles it's relationships with the spirits and demons and such."

The cubus yawned widely, covering her mouth with one hand, then studying her nails. "Well, chicks haven't changed for 200 years. Guess spirit human relations have always been bad, but now some parts of the city are kill on sight zones. Namely the middle and the northeast where you stand. Bad time to be a free roamer, I can tell you that. Here's not as bad as the center. Most of the shields and stuff defend individual houses 'cause people are rich here and can afford that kind of thing. Most free roamers I know crash in the lower commons and they say it's safest there. Good place to do business too if you're inclined to that sort of thing. Most humans aren't smart enough to be able to tell kami from oni and can't see them unless they reveal themselves, so it's best to just let them think you're one of them. Oh, and stay out of the woods if you can. They got hunters there too." The possessed one paused for a moment, trying to recall any other relevant advice that may help this apparently new to the area spirit. He was kind of cute, it'd be a pity if he got killed by something lame like Division 12.

It seemed that the days where we were able to walk freely among this realm were over. If I had taken notice of these things in the last couple of hundred years, I probably would have understood things here a bit more. I had noticed however, that there were certain places that just turned me off here. Thankfully, Lauren’s family accepted me and I was able to move freely through her home as I pleased. I yawned for a second, really wanting a Vanilla bean Frappuccino. Thinking about the locations of the city, I tried to remember if I had been to any of the relative areas back when I came here last. “So basically, we don’t exist, and there is some group that hunts us down? What fun is that..”
I shook my head while rubbing my forehead with my left hand. If things were really this bad, then it may be more difficult for me to return to the other realm than I had originally anticipated. What kind of organization would have the manpower to hide an entire separate race of superior beings from the humans? We were the guardians, and the nightmares of the world. I was curious about this kind of organization. I wonder if it would be possible to find them sometime, and see just how savvy they are in the ways of the spirit. I should probably brush up on my technology information a little bit, and then finish getting my energy back. Once that was done, I would be ready. “Izumi.. could you take me to them?” [264 / 3674 ]

Izumi would listen to what the cubus would have to say and what she said was true, things weren't looking so good for spirits. It made Izumi think and wonder about just what happened down the road that caused things to turn out the way they did. Looking towards Loki with merely her eyes she listened to his quick comment and thought about that for merely a second. from a outside perspective I guess thats just one way to put it. Though it is quick different when your on the inside. She moved her hands behind her back and just held her hands with each other. His question about her taking to them caused her left brow to arch. "Them?" Exactly who was he asking for her to take him too? Division 12? The head honcho that runs the division? The hunters? Her family ruins? There was quite a few groups that dealed with spirit-to-human relations. Just what side did he wish to talk to? Izumi would just respond calmly. "Just what group are you asking to be taken too?"

"Eh..." the woman sighed, almost dismissively, looking up at the purple skies. "You know these people, they like their world simple, like their minds. Makes my work a lot easier if nobody else's." Rather strange of him to ask to be taken to the people responsible for the spirit conspiracy. That would be a good way to disappear in any event. "I think he's talking about the different human organizations who are trying to demolish all the spirits. That would be the Sacred Hunters and Division 12. Well, buddy, that's a very good way to die if you're inclined to that sort of thing. There's a reason why most of our sort just stay out of their way. Perhaps when you've got a bit of your strength back, huh? Ah... if you want to get their attention, you could make it through the big barrier they put up over Metro, but as I said you should probably deed off all your stuff before you try it. Sacred Hunters are a bit weaker from what I hear, what with the way they hide out in the woods. They don't have any weird technology for you to worry about either. If I had that kind of agenda I'd gather up all the little woodland spirits and go knock down their headquarters. I don't think it would be that hard since they're basically pissing off their neighbors and they don't have any support from Saicity."

So, from what I could tell there were two primary organizations. One that was in the city, and one that was in the forest. I was guessing that the Division 12 or whatever the hell it was called was federally funded. If that was the case, they probably had a decent bank account banking them. Also, there was a barrier around the metro? That was a rather odd place for a barrier. Was there something in the metro that they didn’t want spirits around? I really did have to get my energy back, especially if I wanted to get in there and figure it out. The succubus was right, after all. If I wanted a good brawl and to measure the ability level of these organizations, the first place to start would be the forest. I wondered which way the forest was, since I had never been there. When I had came out here from the city, I was in my feline form and couldn’t really get a grip on the surrounding area very well. What a hassle this was going to be. I really needed to get my energy back and fast. I pulled my hand up to my lips and yawned. It was starting to get late, and the stars were already out. It had been a long day, and I needed to get sleep, especially if this new idea of mine was going to take place tomorrow. “So, we have Division 12, I’m assuming a government military group, and then the Sacred Hunters, a fanatic group out in the trees? I guess that would be the best way to go right now. Would either of you mind pointing me in that direction, I really need to see how much of my energy has returned, and a nice backwoods brawl sounds like the right place to start. You can join me of course, if either of you would like. I never mind the company of the beautiful. ” [333 / 4007]

It was probably best of Izumi to keep quiet about her connections to Division 12, especially around two spirits. this feline one, she was probably capable of handling, but the succubus one seemed to be around for quite a while and knew what they were doing. Izumi would merely listen and then sigh as she would look to the stars. "Sacred Hunter's aren't something to mess with either, remember they are specifically trained into getting rid of spirits and demons and such. It might be more of a hassle then you would like it to be." Izumi uttered as she would return to sitting upon the rocks. "I personally cannot join you, I do not want to tarnish my family's reputation if I go and suddenly attack one of those sacred hunters." she said as her blue eyes kept glued to the stars.

The woman's eyes seemed almost closed, though that could easily be a permanent case of bedroom eyes. Yawning widely, she paused for a minute, thinking before she said anything else. "Well, my alter ego might be up for that. Always likes to meet new people, even if they hate his guts. What exactly do you mean to gain by going and beating up those sniveling temple rednecks? It might be good to get one or two in isolation... maybe hold some hostages first if your intention is to capture their base or whatever, but it's good for information gathering too."

I thought about what Izumi was telling me. There was something else behind her family that bothered me. I had a feeling that as a human, she might be uncomfortable standing here talking with two spirits, especially while I discussed taking out some humans. I wasn’t really planning on going after any of them in that way, but instead, working towards finding a way to get back to the other world. There was a strange feeling inside my stomach that had me thinking that there was something else behind my brother’s betrayal. If the humans had an idea of what was going on the other side, then maybe I could figure it out from this side, and try to get my bearings straight. If there was some little bit of information that I could get, then I might be able to figure out why this all went down, even if I had to beat a few of them to get to it. Izumi would keep her cool, of course she wasn't a spirit, but yet she wasn't exactly a normal human. She doen't even consider herself being human either, she's a hitorinji, even though it is a class of humans, she herself didn't consider herself to be. She felt she was more of a entity adorning the disguise of a human just to fit in. She would then gaze towards the two spirit entities. "You two have fun out there and be careful. Aside from the hunters you also have to worry about the other spirits that are in there as well. I'm sure you also know that some of those spirits in there do attack other spirits as well and there are some high classed spirits out there in the woods." Izumi knew a low about the woods since her family heritage lied deep within it hidden within the mist in some unscouted part. Very dangerous creatures that attack spirit and human alike. "I will however try to figure out somethings for you guys if you want me too?" She felt that she should gain some sort of alliance with this little group, that if she kept connections with them, she would be able to find out more then just what a normal secretary would find out.

"Hmmm..." the possessed one seemed to think for a minute, before yawning once again. "It's getting late though, isn't it? I guess we'll catch up later if we need it. I don't care what this boy says, we're going to bed..." A bright flash of light later, the creature returned to his original masculine form and began walking backwards, picking up the canvas, easels, and paints. "Too late to be out drawing anyways. It was nice meeting you two. You want to hang out again sometime, just look me up..." Dumping the supplies into the trunk unceremoniously, he boarded his bike and shouted over his shoulder. "Name's Belphegor." The roar of the motor ripped through the night and soon the strange person was gone.
