If you look at her basic xformation, her ability to hide her appearance should negate the effect of the Gaze. There, problem solved. Though, it's odd that it's called the Gorgyn's Gaze when it's the target's gaze that gets him turned into stone.

Lawgiver
Soul lines are known to those to be descended through blood and soul from lineage, blood, or ancestor. Not so for those this soul line, they are chosen. They burn with righteous indignation at the enemies of the living realm and wield powers directly meant to combat these otherworldly powers at the direction of the soul lines progenitor and direct patron Sol Invictus.

Essence suffusing strike
A lawgiver faces foes who frequently use magixcal abilities to try and thwart the Lawgiver's abilities to right the balance of the living realm. The soul line of Sol Invictus grants those chosen of his line to use their essence to sear the magic circuits of those opponents causing their control to be worsened.
Effect: each essence suffusing strike causes the drain of a magixical attack to drain one category higher then normal. This effect stacks.
Drain: ???

Castigating Judgment
The lawgivers have felled many of a mighty beast that threatened the balance of the world with nothing more then a raised fist. The unique essence which suffuses their entire being allows the blows to be rendered anathema to spirits that are not native too the living realms.
Effect: renders fist or weapons of the Lawgiver to count as blessed or cursed relative too the opponent being fought, but has no effect to those spirits or persons that are native too the living realm

Those that think they should engage a lawgiver at range finds a nasty surprise in store for them if they attempt to evade a lawgiver's wrath. The lawgiver gathers his essence into the palm of his hand or a suitable receptacle before unleashing the essence as a bolt of pure light while following it is a shockwave that will damage those that manage to dodge the blast.
Effect: direct hit by the beam is fierce but damage from the shockwave is medium

Sacred Bodhisattva Palm
A esoteric move consecrated amongst the chosen few of the unconquered sun that seals off the spiritual pathways of beings. Most enemies of the Ignis Divine would not realize the true deceitful nature of the move in that it does not to try too instantly bind the person, but slowly builds it up in power with each strike until the creature that had been so confident before is bound and helpless before the ire of the lawgiver.
Effect: the first strike of Scared Bodhisattva Palm inflicts a low powered bind that goes unnoticed by a person struck by it, but it builds up with each strike inflicted upon them until it reaches the level where it can safely bind them.

@ sexi 2 - depends on what you mean by naval. the world dunno anything bout warships, etc since they don't fight on the water. so that's kinda out . that's tru even in the future realm. we don't even really have boats there. i dun see any reason for them to have ships or anythin larger than a canoe. they prolly use the same type boats @ sai city since they got that river. but there's no real incentive to trading by water when everyone's connected by land and most of the villages are on the interior. you'll prolly have to start from scratch w/that. create an ooc thread to discuss this.

@ kaza - if you want to 'recreate' a SL there's gotta be a reason for it IC... not like "it's been a while"... if she dies or goes thro somethin that'll make her change that makes sense IC, then it'd be more reasonable to request a change. let me see what ur changing and why it's changing and we'll see if that's a good enough reason. if worst comes to worst, just kill her and bring her back, then you can change pretty much everythin. can't have SL's hotswappin out tech packages on the fly like that.

It is said that long ago, the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis, chose a select group of humans based on their hunting prowess to be her champions and blessed them with some of her power as long as the vowed to hunt the most fearsome beasts that walked the planet. This was to be done in tribute to her. "The order," as they called themselves, grew in numbers and fame... until, that is, that The Order was summoned for help in town that was being plagued by woylfs. Upon arriving to the town, they barricaded the town and thought themselves safe but come night fall the whole town turned before their eyes into vaspires,woylfs, and many assorted spirits. Despite Artemis's blessings all but a single husband and wife were murdered. Artemis demanded justice and bestowed more power upon the Devereauxs with the promise to bring justice to these creatures.

Devereaux Xformation (passive)
Not all Children of the Devereaux are born powerful. Only once one is acknowleged by Artemis is one granted her blessings. She will visit in person and ask for their vows in exchange for some of her power. Upon being blessed the users eyes turn purple and somewhere on your body a small tattoo in the shape of an arrow appears. The sign of Artemis. Your altered Eyes grant you enhanced vision allowing you to see current and possible projectile trajectories. Giving your environment a faded blue hue with your possible tragectory in bright green and your projectiles current trajectories in a light green. This is possible by allowing your mind to be microattentative. It picks up directions the weapons are pointing and paths currently moving objects are following and lays out the true trajectory. Without Artemis's blessing it would be too much for a normal brain to register even then its confusing and takes some time to utilize to teh full effect.
effect: Alters Eye color, gives small tattoo,Improves projectile accuracy + 5% per level

Combat Prowess
Blessed by Artemis, a Devereaux's adrenaline triggers enhanced combat reflexes beyond that of a regular human. This is to help the hunter stay out of the preys hungry maw. Members of the old order were rumored to equally match a vespire in terms of speed when their adrenaline kicked in.
Effect: Starting at 15% health a users dexterity gains +1. The % required goes up by 15% per lvl

In Thy Name
A champion of Artemis is able to channel the power of her blessing through themselves to bless a projectile with some of her power. A projectile blessed by a champion requires her sign somewhere on the projectile and a sacrifice of your blood to bestow some of your power onto the projectile. (projectile must have Artemis's symbol crafted before hand and requires a post of 250wc per projectile)
Effect: Projectiles bearing the sign of Artemis deal Destructive dmg at the cost of 30% of users health. Per lvl the health cost goes down 2%

Blessed Be Thy Path
The sign of Artemis is a holy symbol to her champions. Through it they gain their power and show their faith. Thus why it can be found on any champions body. As a holy symbol it holds much power. More than just religiously even. By channeling some of the users energy they are able to teleport to any of her holy symbols.
Effect: User can teleport to any sign of Artemis within 20 ft of them. Reach extends 20ft per lvl

Artemis' Insight
The highest power one can acheive from Artemis. It is only attainable after a champion perfects all other aspects of Artemis's blessing. Very few have ever obtained it. It is only triggered during emotion intense periods. During this period the champions purple eyes glow. The more emotional the brighter the glow. In this state the users vision is enhanced one step further and the are given a true hunters vision. This enhances the users already improved vision to show biological beings in bright red and where theyll be in the very near future, with the future postion shown in light red. The intense emotion allows the brains microattentativeness to go one step further and read all forms of body language and the slightest of movements to show where things will be in the very near future. Due to the stress on the brain to analyze it creates a heavy drain on the user.[requires all other techniques at perfected and this technique doesnt grant powers until its at perfected.]
Effect: At 40% health the users vision is enhanced allowing them to predict a second ahead of time where things will be, Eyes gain a glow, Drain is fierce

I think I got everything you wanted tweaked.

Realm of Sensing (Passive)
Jyn utilizes his sensing abilities within a radius based on Omnisense micro processing his sensing abilities to increase his defensive capabilities. For example, with blind sight, he can see without looking; with signature, he can feel his opponent's movements; speed of syte allows him to keep up with opponents much faster than him, and with tracking he can record his opponents movements. Beyond a simple combination of techniques, this technique utilizes and amplifies his sensing in its entirety for the purpose of helping him evade his opponent's movements and attacks in a manner that makes it seem as if he has higher attributes than he actually has.
Effect: invoked during Omnisense; drain is Medium

Finally decided on a path for Shiori and going Corporate. Just pre approving the checkpoints

Checkpoint 1:
Shiori will have established herself within Kyro Corp and gone to a meeting for all the departments heads to meet the next in line to take over

Checkpoint 2:
Shiori will begins immersing herself deeper into the projects at this point and bring up an investment she wishes to invest in. She will begin discuss turning Moonbucks into a chain of cafes for more people to enjoy.

Checkpoint 3:
By this time she will be showing that she know how to handle difficult situations with the company and discussions will begin about her finally stepping in as head of the company.

Checkpoint 4:
During this final stage Shiori will be taking on the role of President of Kyro Corporation, her grandmother signing everything over to her.


Next line of business. I want to do the Beast Harmonizer path. But I wish to do this with Shiori's cat that she got from Jyn, Little Ghost. Want to know how to proceed with this since it would be kind of odd to do a critter quest with a cat she already has.

@Shin: Sorry in advance for posting, but the answer to this one seemed easy enough...

1) If Shiori is a Storyline character now, you can just select Corporate (with approval). If not, you're gonna need to RP out the whole path like everyone else.

2) If Shiori is a Storyline character and you select Corporate, you will not be able to take Beast Harmonizer until you complete the Latent Revitalization quest to transform your storyline into a normal character.

3) In regards to the cat, if you want it on your bio, you will probably have to do the Critter Quest as a flashback or remembering either when you got the cat from Jyn or when it first started to listen to you and all that good stuff. There's plenty of ways to do that quest, so I don't see a reason to circumvent that requirement.

While I do appreciate your input Kaz. I asked Shin. She is not a storyline, first off. Second, Shiori's family has been set up as a storyline themselves and are an established company. Shiori is heir to this company and I have rped her as such since H2H first began. I am having her take over a company that is already set up.

As for the pet. I was asking how I should do it since he is a tamed animal to begin with and the critter quest indicates the animals are wild and need to become tamed.

So please. Let Shin answer my questions.

Also Shin I have another request of sorts. I wanted to know if there is a way to hack into the Spiritnet to have it recognize a single signature as either human or not even notice it. I'm asking because I'm working on making a demon Shiori's personal bodyguard and need to know how I can get him into Metro without the demon being killed. I was also toying with the idea of her requesting from the Kyro Corp R&D within Nyte Industries to perhaps create an item that can be warn and guise the wearer's spiritual signature. 2 - realistically it'd be an easier to have ur org set in east city like kaz than to try to hack the div. site wise, they've got the best technology in the city. you can try it IC and see what happens. for the invention: it is possible to create approved inventions via the scientific researcher path. u may want to check that out if you want that invention to be created. it's prolly possible. if you need more info on it make a staff only discussion thread on ooc since it's not something that really needs approval.

step 1) go to a custom weapon shop and get a 'normal' version of that weapon
step 2) get a Eshureon Deformation Tag from the shin shop
step 3) do dark bonding and get a custom explanation of stopping the weapon's functionality

Spir’yt Soulline

Spir’ytual Blood
When the union between a spirit and a human bears fruit sometimes the outcome is manifested physically in the form of a human. Normally the resulting human would retain the attributes of a normal human, but under various circumstances and coming of age, this soulline is activated and spills forth showing hints of their spiritual parentage. Physically they look like a normal human save for their eyes. Depending on the demon type of their parent, they will either glow red (Onikonjou) or white (Kamikonjou). When they call upon the strength of their soul line, they invoke a mode so that their attributes will increase +1 for a 5 posts before their body requires a cool down period of 5 posts.
Effect: enables Spir’yt techs; base attributes increase by +1; cool down period decreases -1 per level.

Spiritual Flight
This allows the user to develop the same type of natural flight based ability as their spiritual parent. This can be with or without wings depending on the type of light their spiritual parent used. This ability of flight can only be utilized when in Spir’ytual Blood is active.
Effect: flight range increases 10 yards per level; become limitless at perfected.

Spiritual Flame
Depending on the type of the spirit parent this allows the offspring to call down the heavens (Kami) or call up hell (Oni) to your hand. This power can be wielded to thrust a blast of potentially highly potent spiritual energy at a target or target area.
Effect: max damage = +1 per level, blast range = 5 ft per level, drain based on damage

Spiritual Body (passive)
Due to the influence of the spirit parent, the offspring is able to exist in spiritual realms much longer than an ordinary human would be able to. The Spir’ytual Blood transformation is extended to create a light film of spiritual energy that covers the body and protect the physical body from deteriorating.
Effect: Can survive in Onitoshi for a time of 1 week (IC) per level; becomes limitless at perfected.

Spiritual Resurrect (passive)
The soul of a Spir’yt is a complex thing. It can prove to be excessively resilient, more so than the vessel’s physical body. This allows it to recreate life with itself over a matter of time. More importantly, it has the ability to retain its memories from its ‘previous death’ upon dying. As long as the user died while in the Spir’yt Blood transformation, the soul can find its way back to the user’s body or any other compatible vacant body (corpse) to revive and reanimate.
Effect: revives user after a day: disables the use of the Spir’yt Soulline for the next 10 TEXP-earning days. Wait time to reactive Spir’yt Soulline abilities reduces -1 per level.

Type: Present and Past Realm
The path to be famous and loved by the city. A celebrity is someone who is always in the limelight of things and their biggest adversary is the paparazzi. Work you way up to being well known. If you finish the Job Path for it you can skip the first two checkpoints, but for other trades, such as sports, etc, the all checkpoints will have to be completed.
Checkpoint 1: Through this, it should be well defined what it is that you want to be famous in and you will be working towards it.
Checkpoint 2: You've gained a bit of recognitions in your field of fame and you sign your first big contract with a social class increase.
Checkpoint 3: You become seasoned in your field of fame and more contracts are coming in. After this point, you will be a household name.
Rewards:
- Low to Widespread Fame
- A Mansion and optional Butler (Checkpoint 2)
- Contracted (site) Security Entourage (Checkpoint 2)
