| Eyes are on her from the time she gets out of the car until she goes into the bar to have her first drink. Someone like her would easily stand out, especially in an area resembling the wild west saloons that were run by testosterone and shovenism. There are slender two males in particular dressed in business casual attire who sits in the back of the saloon keeping to themselves and playing a game of cards between friends. As the young lady enters one looks up and then down to his cards. He remarks in a low tone to his friend, "how about that one." Without turning around, the other male there is able to see her. He wears a pair of black slacks with a white shirt with the collar unbuttoned and a black silk tie with the knot loosened and hanging down a bit. "In that case, I'll lure the prey," he assures before making casual strides to the other side of the room. | The males eyes follows the sound of the cup as it slams to the bar and then stroll back up to her in a lazy gaze leaning back casually and with confidence as he spoke to her. He watches as she walks past him to the music player and twists in the stoll, keeping his sitting position about the same. He was analyzing her movements and speech patterns for a moment before he looks back towards the bar keeper and requests two more drink, but something a little bit stronger. The drink comes and the male holds both of them in his hands as he walks over behind the young lady and then to her side as she looks into it, offering the glass and assuring, "on me" before turning to the juke box. "If you're looking to party," a social smile is on his face, "then you're going to have a hard time finding the right song. Tracks 23 and 45 aren't too bad for dancing though." 169 | |

She seemed as if she was eyeing them both, so he offers, "you can have both of them, I need to drive later." Coincidentally enough, he transitions into his next statement saying, "there are better places suited for... a different scene. The sweat mark comes back and he turns to look at his partner in the back of the room. The partner shrugs and the man hangs his head. It quickly raises as he resumes looking 'as he was' when she turns around and asks if he had said something about going somewhere else. The man who had come with the man currently speaking to the young lady was no longer in the bar, but such a thing was small and unnoticeable. A magician never tells his secrets, but see if you can find the illusion in this…” He walks towards the door of the saloon, but no one else in the room seems to notice him. He looks to the left and then to the right as he surveys to see if anyone where around. There would be the obvious bystanders and people walking to and fro, but no one would really take notice of them thanks to the behind the scene workings of the second male who had vanished. Basele places his hand on the side of the wall and a silver oval grows from the size of his hand to the size of a person. With it he grins and motions to it, “and with this, you can walk to the other side of the wall.” Of course, this wouldn’t actually put her on the other side of the wall as it would be a worm hole to an alternate pocket realm, which would start off as a black void if she were to venture through it. 187 | |

| The black void disperses and Izumi would feel a hard and solid concrete floor beneath her feet. The air would be chilly and still with little to no movement in it. The alternate pocket realm transported her to another section of the city and inside a building. The inside of the building would look like a basement. The immediate area she was in would be as wide open as two living room and there would be cages like cells lining the walls and stacked up on one another. Inside of them, bodies would writhe in the dim red light provided by emergency light type illuminations. A main white light would be on the ceiling, which was abnormally high, being two stories up, and it would shine down casting a dull light but keeping a dim atmosphere still. In front of her, would be two figures standing side to side. The male she was familiar with would be standing with his arms folded and a smirk on his face as the other would be dressed in a similar attire of black slacks with a white collared shirt and tie and glasses with short black hair. I'm sorry things aren't to your liking, but I do hope you will get used to the place, our new pet. Now, it is time for the training!" The business casual male swings out his right hand sending five razor sharp nails flying in her direction, not for the purpose of striking her, but more so to tatter her clothing. The longer she was here, she didn't even assume them to even be hitorinji's anymore. This appears to be more so the work of a demon Merely standing there when the nails came flying, she looked over in thier direction. she did notice the buisness casual male throwing something, but she just stood there and allowed it to do what it was suppose to do. She had some of her cloths ripped in five different locations, but they were intact enough to not fall off yet. I guess i should play the role of the helpless drunk woman? Acting, you gotta love seemingless 'useless' appearing skills which are more useful then what people think they are. "huh? w-w-what's going on? W-what do you mean I'm going to be your new pet? Let me outta here!" she said sounding as though she's starting to freak out. The look on her face looking around quickly, as things being wavy and hazy really didn't help much, but she was formulating a plan into getting out alive.

| The nails pierce the ground several meters behind her after passing through her clothing and ripping portions of it. The act of helplessness amuses Basele greatly as he looks to his friend and laughs, “look, she’s gone from hot to cold after she’s realized what happened.” He looks back to her and smiles, “good, good… show me that terrified face!” The other keeps his position and chants causing the atmosphere to change into something much darker, closer representing the depths of hell, for show probably, as Basele slowly hovers towards her speaking, “if you’re a good girl, I might let you go after an eternity or so… but you’ll soon learn that 100 years is a short amount of time.” He would continue until he was standing right in front of her if she didn’t move. 136 | |

Jesus, these things must be over doing it on these abilities, but i certainlty do wonder what sort of power this is rather interesting if you ask me. she wasn't some stupid human who held no idea what was going on, she knew this was some sort of power, but what she didn't know was, what kind of power it was. Be it illusion or even real, she wasn't certain on that. Maybe it was even the process of teleportation. As Basele hoveredover to her, Izumi looked to him and tripped over her own foot to land on her ass, and she gazed up at the hovering Basele with a scared look upon her face. She would begin to crawl backwards as he hovered towards her. "No! Dont get near me!" she yelled. He then said something about letting her go after an eternity or so. "No please let me go now!" she said making her own self tear up and start to cry from being freaked out.

The bone dagger continues south, cutting and ripping the fabric of her shirt as he comments, “we’re just going to have a little fun. Nothing you probably already haven’t done… though it would be more fun if you hadn’t.” Behind him, the same old goes on as the other male keeps the hellacious background in tact. Basele rips down to slash the middle of her shirt fully and discards the nail to the side and then stands up and walks behind Izumi a few feet where he reaches down and pulls up a large cross from the ‘flooring.’ Chains are wrapped about it with various cuffs in places to hold her down. “It’s been a while since we’ve used this,” he says speaking across to the other guy, “I think she’ll fit it well.” From the looks of it, it the bondage type table/pillar could be shifted both vertically and horizontally. At this time, there were a few options around. There were several discarded nail daggers around. After stepping back to observe the outcome of the brave offensive, he begins into the rant that is the villain’s dialogue with a fluff of his hair. “Silly woman, that was a baited response. His chanting is not just for our audible pleasure; he is also telling me your actions in our own little way that you, of course, would not be accustomed too. Now, I know you must be confused given your situation. Your plan was flawless as I had my back to you. There was no way I could respond in time to stop you from getting one up on me even if I hadn’t been warned you picked up my long hard nail.” He pauses and opens his arms in a dramatic fashion, “intangibility! Through harnessing the powers of the essence of the void shroud I am able to shift the phase of my body’s molecules so that things of this realm pass through them. This is all high level magics that a human of your caliber would not be able to understand. Oh, but I digress… none of this will help you my fragile human woman!” 224 | |

Well just like a villian to tell his plan, oh how cliche. But it was a good thing also, because she was confused to how she just passed through him and well he just revealed what it was. Intangibility. So thats what the man over there was saying. She couldn't quite hear him, nor really understand him. She turned to face Basele while she was on one knee still rubbing at her shoulder that hit into the cross. She was right in front of him, so her view from the other guy, was well pretty much blocked. She remembered where the guy stood, and if this guy was all phasey and what not. Intangibility huh? So thats what he is using. The powers of the void. Well the guy pretty much revealed what his powers were in his little speech so it wasn't hard for her to know what it is. Not from past experience, but just by going by what he said. So this guy still think's she's a human. Good, thats how she wanted. "Y-you freak!" she yelled out acting scared. she then threw one of the long nail daggers towards Basele, in which she was hoping he wasn't all phasey mode so she could hit him. So the dagger, would shoot directly for the dead center of Basele's chest, but if he still was all phasey, the dagger would simply shoot through him and head straight for the skull of his partner. Well hopefully this guy goes down, maybe i can take the other down myself. Void eh? I should give it a try and see if it works for me, it would really give him a surprise. Now here is where the problem for her would come in, exactly how would she work with void magic?

| Basele seems amused at the toss of his nail at him. Like anticipated it goes right through him. Had she the ability of a shinobi or at least a good baseball arm, it would be feasible for it to go through Basele and to his partner, but with the distance of the partner being at least a pitcher’s mound away coupled with the skill level of the person throwing the nail, it would not have the speed, accuracy or technique for the partner not to have easily evaded it if it were in a trajectory for the small hitbox that was his skull.
Adding insult to further insult, Basele continues, “do you really want to fight? When you first came in here, the cages around you were full of women just like you. They all came in, fought and eventually when we tired then out and were finished with them, they took their place in our collection.” There is a change in tone as he sits upright, “now, let’s begin. You’re much too lively as you are now. I’m going to show you yet another blessing of the Void Shroud.” He holds his finger up and points it towards her as if pointing down to her. “The concept of the Soul Ripper is very simple,” he begins as an invisible beam is projected at her, which would go along with his words if hitting, though he would leave out how the technique starts off. “Simply by looking at you, I can create a void inside of you and rip your energy out from its source.” She would feel the effects of the attack if it were to strike whereas two visible dark orbs would be extracted from her being. 289 | |

| Begging was like music to a twisted type like Basele. “You –will- do anything,” he laughs, “and you’ll feel the ecstasy of pain!” He performs two more soul rippers on Izumi’s body (if hit) at close range mocking and laughing at the same time, “I’m surprised your conscious. A normal human would be faint after just one of my attacks!” He holds back enough on the soul rippers so that it wouldn’t cause Izumi to pass out, faint or die, though his goal would have been to weaken her to a state where she could not struggle. Around this time, the other guy gets bored with his holding up the arena of hell while his partner has all the fun and his vision is blocked, so the atmosphere drops. It returns to the cold, damp, and dark basement; he starts to make his way over to the two stating, “you’ve had your fun, now it’s my turn damnit. | The man gets a grip on Izumi’s arm and pulls her up harshly. The words reach Basele, but he only gives a teasing smile as he informs, “this is just how Gerrick is. It cannot be helped… but he sure is sexy when he gets forceful.” The other works on pulling Izumi onto the cross to lay her out as he speaks a bit turned off, “I told you not to speak like that. How is it that she can still speak?” Basele shrugs as he walks around passively to the other side and mentions, “perhaps she is more than a human. I didn’t hold back, I swear it.” Gerrick frowns, “liar.” He attempt to get Izumi’s ankle into the first strap while Basele walks along side her, trailing her skin with his finger, starting at her leg and moving its way up her inner thigh, to her belly button and finally to the torn fabric of her shirt, moving it past her breast to allow it to be revealed into the cold air. “Maybe she has a point,” he chuckles, “I may want to go first.” 187 | |

| Tickled, Basele questions, "why would a half dead woman ask a question like that? You wouldn't be trying to pit us against one another, are you? You must realize, a great deal of intelligence is required in order to learn high level magics such as that granted by the void shroud. Haven't you ever played D&D?" Gerrick looks over at Basele in an annoyed manner as he locks her other leg in place scolding, "you talk too much. Help me raise this up." Basele giggles, "of course dear." Gerrick stands up and turns to Basele demanding, "I told you to stop that..." Basele hesitates for a moment and seems to give stating, "don't look at me in such a scary manner...." He crouches to the side of the cross and liftsit up, it's gears clicking into place as it stays horizontal but lifts to waist height. The base portion of the cross swing out causing her legs to open. By the point of the next break, both her ankles and one of her wrists should be tied in place; Gerrick stops and looks to Basele, "maybe she had a point..." Basele pauses and swallows hard, "what... what are you saying?" Gerrick presses his glasses along his nose and folds his arms, "do you think you're better than me?" A grin comes to Basele's face as he turns his head to the side, trying to regain his confidence as he shrugs, "maybe, who knows." Gerrick nods, "I see..." he steps away and motions towards her, "fine... then you go first. We will judge by her noises who is better... I am giving you the handy cap." Basele pauses for a moment, then looks at the girl, then grins making his way in between her legs as he unzips his pants stating, "then I will take you up on that offer." 309 | |

| | Great another plan foiled again. Damn you storyline god person in the sky for this. Izumi merely watched them. She said nothing as she was deeply thinking while being fuly aware of what they were saying. Thinking back on what Basele said. Dungeon's and Dragons... That thought resonated in her mind for a moment like a rippling puddle. Thinking back to the game of DnD she never exactly played it herself, but she did have one friend in high school who was a fanatic for it. She would talk about her character for days on end if anyone would have ever gotten to talk to her about it. It was this one conversation that she had with that very friend. They for some reason ended up talking about magic spells and the such. Which in turn brought about her talk with DnD and her character. Her character that she had made was of a Druid class. Learning many dark arts and the such, but that really isn't the point. It was merely the theory she had behind using magical spells. Her friend stated that in the game, in order for one to be able to use such techniques and have such a devastating effect upon it, one must have a strong chant and an understanding for the spell itself. Like if one were to cast a fire spell, you wouldn't do so without understanding what fire is and how destructive it is because then your spell would just rage out of control. Really this was just her thoery to how it would effect into real life, not the game where you just let the roll of the dice effect your spells and such.
Basele and Gerrick had a smell conversatio while she was thinking and her body was being lifted off the ground, and the bottom of the cross split open. Izumi merely watched, she wasn't feeling any pain anymore, since she was thinking. She still had one hand free, guess she should just eliminate one of them. Izumi's thoughts on using a void spell on Basele should be a good attempt and she can give it a shot, if she failed completely then, well her life might as well end in the void. Now what was that, that he said about the void thinking back on what Basele said, The void was high level magic, so your intelligence rating had to be above the norm. She looked at Basele. "Wait...before you do anything. May you explain a bit more about this Void Shroud? It's rather...how you say...sexually exciting..."

| Basele smiles as he seems to find this act of desperation cute. During this time, Gerrick simply stands impatiently with his arms folded. Basele gives a cautious glance to Gerrick before he decides to stall with a bit of foreplay. Even if he wanted to indulge her and go into his rants, there was a chance that he would get his ass kicked if he delayed anymore. With his pants unzipped, but still restraining him, he leans forwards over her open legs with his hands on her thighs, pushing the already bunched up skirt, higher up towards her waist as he speaks, "the void shroud gives power to me because it favors me. I speak my blessing to it and it responds accordingly." His hands move up to push other the other flap of fabric over the remaining covered breast, allowing his hands to slide down her body continuing, " Unlike amateurs who have to chant the shrounds encantation, Basele and I am able to share a mental link, so I just whisper them as sweet nothings into his mind." 180 | |

"ooo my..." she urged him on as she made herself appear as though it was stimulating her sex. when i get out of this i'm going on vacation. Nice hot springs for me, oh yes, hot springs. Her skirt moves up and she gazed at him as he was much closer then before. A bit to close for comfort. Well now both her breasts were revealed to the cold damp air of the basement, how nice. She also would need to go shopping for a new suit. This was her favorite one too. "So what your saying is, that your power doesn't come from you, but flow through him? your merely used like a doll?" she questioned as she opened her palm on the hand that was tied, the other hand still free. The four visible orbs still floating around. She merely smirk. "Basele...your really cute, well your rants at least." she uttered as she looked at him. "With the power embedded into the void..." at this point a reaction occured into the four visible orbs that did come from her as they silently moved to opposite ends of the room but more around Gerrick and Basele. "...you certaintly believe such a being as yourself is chosen?" Her free hand shot to Basele as she punched him. But her punch wasn't a regular human punch, markings began to appear over her body, various tribal markings began to glow even upon her face. It glowed a deep blood red color that showed demonicly in the singular light of the basement. Her chant had already been stated. "...Unveiling unto you the essence of void." Grabbing him by the hair she pulled him close. "chants are a major part for magical spells, learn them well." She uttered pushing them back. "Clasm..." she would uttered that the very orbs that came from her, were her primary source for this spells power, four orbs ment two clasms The orbs would rumble a second before they would shoot out at Gerrick and Basele, the orbs would come for the face to smack them back and away before colliding into one another causing a destructive power to come out from them. The spells here was her first attempt so it is all by luck and it used up a large portion of her power so if this didn't kill them, well she's is at thier mercy. That and the clasm would effect most of the room causing noticable rumbles inside the basement and even outside. While it may not have been supremely powerful as a perfected version of it should be. It should have been enough to kill both of them, she hoped. She didn't even know where this spell came from, it was as though something within her just told her what the spell was and guided her through it, possibly a Void goddess.

| "Incorrect, silly woman, my powers flow through me, through only the void shroud! He only he hears my chants so I do not have to verbally speak them," he clarifies, "because its so unprofessional to chant while you are doing a spell..." As he is in the middle of explaning this, not really paying attention, the attack comes and in a fluke, remarkably occuring with her first attempt at the ability, he is struck by its full force. Wathcing all of this and being a bit more aware of his surorundings, Gerrick yells out, "you fool! Watch out!" Sensing the shift in power he is able to evade most the attack's force with a bit of a duck and cover while his unforuntately friend, stuck in front of her in an akward position between the legs of the table, is hit fully wrenching the flesh and features of his face as he falls back smoking due to the attack. The cages in the room shudder and weak screams come out from the captives held there in. From partially hit in his grounded proned positoin, Gerrick reaches a plam out towards her. "You bitch!" he growls as he shows yet another power he possesses in a command "Thunder god, clense this wretched mortal." Bolts of eletricity shift from his open palm to her and the table on which she rests, holding a paralysing elecric grip over her body while charging the ability causing the metal to spark and conduct his energy as he growls with anger, "die bitch!" 257 | |

| | She managed to kill one of them, that attack was extremely fierce and she noticed it's power up close as it pretty much melted the guy away in it's destructive power. The other guy was still hit, but he managed to survive it. Izumi tried to break free from her chains and what not, but alas the clasm spells which took a large portion of her power made her weak and weary. Her markings began to fade, and the spell was still in effect, but it was slowly diminshing and it's power was leveling from destructive downard the scale of power, still causing firce damage to just about anything it touches. Izumi looked towards a glowing light as it came from the palm of the man who was now trying to kill her. great... lyghting. she said before the bits of eletricity shot out onto the table and began to shock her a bit causing a paralysis in her body. "Argh!!" she yelled out a little bit in the beginning. But her screams when silent after a moment. she gritted her teeth and looked towards Gerrick who appeared to be a chant short in his spell, and figured this attack wasn't over with. Great I'm gonna die here aren't i? She thought to herself in these moments. Was this going to end for her this way. She tried to move her free arm to free herself, but it bearly twitched. I'm paralyzed... I can't get out of here, I'm doomed... She gazed at him with a serious look. May the void devour you. she coudn't talk as she felt a sort of full body paralysis. Her mind began to think hoping that some sort of miracle will occur to save her. She had flashbacks occuring in her mind as he saw peoples faces. People she knew in her past, and Jyn appeared to pop up quite a lot. quess her flashback was more so concerning much closer events of her past, then her distant past. She bearly felt any energy left within her, she couldn't try that intangibility spell that Basele had been performing a lot, she didn't feel she had enough energy within her body to do it. There was nothing left for her to do then just hope her resulting effect of her clasm attack would kill him or injur him further making him unable to finish his spell, or if someone just appeared and saved her.

| Veins pop in Gerrick’s temples as he stands to his feet holding the equivalent of Dark Vader’s force lightning over the helpless frame of Izumi not caring about the harsh drain it would have on itself. The sound from the sporadic lightning is sickening, but to Izumi’s luck, the force of it is weakened by the leather restrictions that hold her down which ground some of the paralyzing electricity. All that Gerrick is able to think about is the death of his friend in a terrible accident with this woman who lay before him.
- Flack back: Moments earlier -
A van sits in the darkness of the night outside of an abandoned building in Gunshyne Bastion. Within the van, there is what looks like a sonar based computing system attached in the interior as if it were a small room. A technician type male in glasses holds half of a head set to his ear as he views the monitoring screen of the system. There seems to be a positive lock of some type and the technician turns to a slender male with long raven hair wearing in a large black coat, stating, “we’ve got a lock, Sergeant. Basement of this building, access is to the side alley.” The sergeant known as Asei Jyn nods and comments, “good.” Turning around, he faces the members of tonight’s’ team, his original troop known as Gamma as he announces, “let’s go.” A large bald football player type in black tactical gear grins within his boxed goatee and mustache set, “that’s our Serge, a man of few words. Let’s kick some demon ass.”

Near the door, there is a platform that leads to the stairs that trail downwards into the basement. There is a solid impact with the door as it is thrust open from its hinges with a large male following through almost as if shoulder tackling the door into the ground. As that man recovers, the slender male in the large black coat steps out of the door and around him with his pistol raised. The lightning attack stops and Gerrick turns around; there are two shots fired. Gerrick falls to the side, and one of the bullets strikes him in the shoulder. The sergeant free falls to the ground level as the large man stands up and prepares to fire. Several nail fly with the accuracy of Shinobi kunai and are sent towards both men whereas the large man lifts up and uses the door to block the attack and the sergeant side steps, taking a portion of the attack to his left arm as one nail sticks in, another passes by, ripping his coat and leaving a flesh wound with the others missing. Grunting and raising his pistol in his right, he fires five more shots to which the immobilized Vaspire is unable to evade. His attack stops and he drops to the ground as a pool of blood begins to form. The gun lowers in the sergeant’s hand and he begins to approach the body slowly, “Tapp, clear the room, I’ll check the body.” In a similar manner, the large man tosses the door to the side and rushes down the stairs cocking a shotgun while looking around the room stating, “Hai. Sergeant Asei, were you hit bad?” The calm voice comes out, “I’m fine, there’s supposed to be two.” As the sergeant approaches the center of the room, his eyes come upon the young lady on top of the platform.
On the ground, in a pool of his own blood, Gerrick’s gun wounds begin to slowly close themselves. 604 | |

| | The lyghting wasn't as bad as she thought it was, but either way it was still bad in the condition that she was in. most of her energy was wasted on the two clasm attacks which were now just small orbs as they originally were just floating around. It was a big drain on her body and this paralysis effect was annoying to say the least, but thanks to the leather straps, she was still able to move, just not as fast, or even as much as she was still somewhat paralyzed. This man before her, Gerrick, was in a rage into wanting to kill her and she felt it. By now her markings which dinified her as a true hitorinji had disappeared.
Finally after this man finishes a flash back to what occured outside the place, time resume back to normal and Izumi is looking towards the door that had just been knocked down to the ground. This action here results in Gerrick stopping his attack and her finally being able to start recovering a little. Mostly it was just attempting to regain full movement of at least one of her arm. The free one at least. During thier little scuffle with the division 12 members that bursted in, which Izumi hadn't realized who it was yet, since well being dead tired, partially paralyzed, doesn't give much to a person to realize who it is from the distance that there at. But thank god whoever it was just saved her.
There was a fight ensueing between the Gerrick and the intruders, during this time, Izumi had managed to at least get her free arm to move much better. but it was still obvious that she was exaughted and just about ready to pass out at any moment, but managing to hold herself in there. She looked towards Gerrick who was close so he was in more focus to her. Her breathing was heavy, but weakening. you son of a bitch... she mentally cursed him and watched as he was shot down, a weak smile appeared on her face. "T-that's... what... you get..." she weakly said breathing between just about every word. She would reach over to her other arm and attempt to free that arm, her head was down and her hair was a mess from the lything as it's now covering over her face and being in a basement for the time that she was, she accumilated sweat so she was also a bit dehydrated, not so much, but just enough to start perspirating a lot.
she would watch Gerrick closely, oh so closely she watched that bastard. Soon she managed to free that arm and when she did, that arm dropped. It was still mostly paralyzed, she bearly was able to twitch the arm, and well since she freed the only arm that was holding her up, she ended up falling foreward like a dimino placed on it's end and pushed over. coming close to the ground her arm lit up for just a moment and it grabbed onto the ground and once it did the glow had disappeared. Her legs were still strapped into the mechanics and her moving arm searched the ground sliding along it until she came across the droped nail dagger she had from before. she wanted to stab him and stab him good. Lifting her head bearly even though the fight was over and Gerrick was on the ground. the others were checking the room, and there was even a divison 12 member right there close to gerrick's body.
Izumi would regain control well partial control of her other arm, just enough to pull herself closer to Gerrick, but sadly she couldn't get far because her legs were stapped. Gazing to Gerrick she still tried to pull closer to him, but the cross was pretty much holding her from going any farther and if she had anymore strength she would have caused the cross to fall foreward on top of her So she was just annoyed by this. "Make.... sure.... he... is dead..." she said in a ow voice while she gripped the nail dagger while looking towards Gerrick in rage. Being unable to move was something she didn't enjoy in fact it enraged her to know that she was unable to move that well.

| Having emptied much of that clip, I drop it and reload while the area is still unclear and I move to check the body and victim. Seeing the girl attempt to move catches me off guard at first. My eyes widen as I call for her to stand down, figuring she was the victim, but not knowing if something had been done to her that would make her a threat. My voice is unable to fall upon her ears, as she seems to be fixated on picking up a weapon and stabbing the one who had assaulted her. As she tells me to check the body to make sure he was dead, I instead reach for her and attempt to hold her up. She looked like a mess, but the position she was in could not be comfortable. “Calm down… put down the weapon,” I advise as my hand reaches for her wrist to attempt to hoist her back into a more safe position. To me she would seem weak in her current state. Lifting dead weight was never fun. I notice the second body, a managed corpse on the ground near the foot of the odd table as I announce, “I found the second body and a victim.” Tapp calls out, “ok, boss.” As I pull her up, I notice her face and hold her shoulders so that I can get a better look at her. My eyes widen slightly in confusion as I speak questioningly, “Izumi?…”
Behind me in another portion of the room, Tapp holds his gun in one hand and now holds a flash light as he continues to look around the area calling, “all clear!” He shines the light into the cages seeing the women locked up in there and begins to assure them that he would get them to safety while radioing in for an emergency medical team.
As I attempt to get a response from Izumi, I notice something move near my ankle. Turning quickly, my gun is pulled and the room illuminates in short bursts 8 times with loudness echoing within the walls before it stops and Gerrick lays still, finally dead from several gunshot wounds to the head. 367
