What control level is your starting technique?

Why would the food of the gods (kami) grown in Koutaku-shi not fully heal them, yet heal humans which should never eat the fruit since it's only grown in Novartis? When I first looked at this quest, I thought it was an offset to Ambrosia which already gives this same item. Is it supposed to be the same or is this a typo?

@Rune: Nope. I mean they could use it as part of an explanation for them becoming an oni if they were to die in that RP, but nah, no side effects.

okay, I've got a question, when a spirit crosses into yochi do they gain a flesh and blood body, or is it even then just a spiritual flesh?

When a spirit first comes into Yochi, it is simply in spiritual form. It's not until it performs the spiritual impression quest that it gets a physical body. Due to their make up, their bodies automatically sync to their environment when they go back into the spiritual realms.

I need a little manager input/help. In this thread; https://wotr.rpg-board.net/t2396-landing#40232 on Blue's resent post with Mei, she puts she has the Time-piece Jewel and Able-mind Charm, but they where bought after the thread was started and updated on the bio after the thread was underway, so I was wondering if she would have the items or not, would it be meta-gaming to start the thread and then be like 'oh, my character has these items now'

Edit: I beleive the tech Mental Defense is also one added after the thread was started.

If you have a specific complaint against a member, you have to go the dispute route.

But when you reply to a post instead of contesting it, you lost your ability to report it as you've accepted what's happened. You can't go back and point things out after you've posted.

If it's against a situation, state it without asking 'is what this person did okay?' The correct question for this particular board would be: "can you start a thread then do a training or make a purchase after the thread is up and running, then update your bio during that thread so that the training or purchases reflect in your current bio."
If that's the question, we don't currently have a rule against it to my knowledge. I normally use the most recent bio updated just before the thread starts, since the bios are archived with our updating system. As far as whether it is meta gaming, gaining general techniques and ammunition to restock is something different than specifically making purchases to counter a situation you come upon and would seem so. To me, that's a no brainer for meta gaming since you're doing something outside the current thread to counter an IC situation. To me, that would be frowned upon and probably who no one's tried anything like that to this point. Since there should be no unspoken rules, there might need to be a rule that locks threads with their respective bios.

1. When attributes 'sync' to something, can outside influences (spells from the support package) increase those attributes still?
2. Is it the area of effect techniques that require charging or all above Fierce damage? (For physical packages)

@1 - so if like you're sync'd and someone casts a buff on you, ur stats can go up. if ur buffed, then transform and sync then ur stats... synch xD
@2 - all area affecting fierce attacks and stronger have the 3 second build up on it

Shin, I thought all AOE Fierce+ & Destructive techs have that 10s channel time thing?

That's for magix. It's 3 seconds for physical attacks.

If someone casts Rend Armor on a normal human, will they still have a Defense score of 1 (Weak) or can it drop to 0?

I also ask b/c what if a character with weak stats use the Support Ability that takes 1 level of your attributes and gives them someone else... do you remain at Weak and they essentially receive a free boost or do you drop to a score of 0 for ur attributes?

Someone answered this for me in the past. Attributes drop to 0 from 1 regarding enhance from the support package if the user's attributes are weak. This means Rend Armor could drop someone's weak attributes to 0.

When you use like wind spells, and say if you were having a spell race with someone next to you and they shoot off a heftily sized boulder, they both move at strong, but would the wind spell move faster? Like, comparatively, how fast is 'Strong'? I know it specifies it surpasses what could be considered normal, but how fast is that specifically?

The two spells would move at the same speed regardless of the matter of which they're made up unless there was a special property in the effect, such as some techs, that advise it moves at a different rate of speed, i.e. ascended. Specifically, Strong is defined on the site as the same speed at which an arrow would move. So if you move at strong, technically you're as swift as an arrow. Speed has not been quantified into mph or m/s on the site in the same manner that strength isn't measured in lbs of force, etc.

Ayo, Kyro... a few questions: In terms of personnel units, I have a few questions:

1) What is the difference between a Hito unit and a Human unit?
2) For the past realm Teksearcher, would magic substitute for technology?
3) Would Mathematics be used for economic projects/developments? (Teksearchers)
4) Berserkers are said to excel at offense, does that equate to an attack bonus in battle? Especially since they have the lowest number of techniques.

Oh and if I did a quest where I had to "pay" for something can I do a steal roll and beat the shit out of the guy or something like that so I don't have pay?

@ quest - depends on which quest. if you pay a random guy then prolly; if it's a specific npc that's prolly strong, then a steal roll prolly wouldn't work. so.... request per quest'll prolly be the best option

Okay, we've seen what the elder mode for the oni, but whats would be the equivalent form for a kami? I got the feeling though that the answer will only be revealed via plot though.

Okay, I am pretty certain that I know the answer too this already, but I figure its best to ask anyways. Would a technique that lets you use the techniques of one package with the skill of another package, like being able to use the weapon melee weapon special techs with the unarmed skill. Would that be considered to be a combo technique.

okay, got another question if you used the anti-magic bullets would that prevent a supporter from casting buffs on the affected person?

It should only affect the person from casting magic, not being affected by it. Because if it worked that way, you could shoot yourself in the foot with it and be immune to magic attacks.

another question, what would be the speed of grenades, rpgs, missiles, and the like?
