Rei was being silent as he looked out at the streets before him of the city- no more memories for the moment. He was thinking on the future- what could he do, in the city? In villages, it was easier to pratice his ideals and show his justice. He didn't want to go back to he countryside just yet, but maybe he had no choice in order to patice his art. The being known as One Eyed Rei walked with a group of people, leaving the group and leaning against a tree near the edge as he looked up at the sky with his single gray eye, narrowed. How he wondered about the future, about his swordsmanship. The gray orb closed as the other opened while his hand went to the bandage cloth, pulling it off gentle and let the bandages from around his face fall along his neck as he looked out with his spirit seeing eye. It was a good thing that only a few knew his real name, because even the guards could easily see him from here, and could thus say that he wasn't really one eyed, though he used it for a more piratical purposes. He was unaware of what was going on around him as his thoughts flooded his mind.

Ooc: Yup, we're near Saichuushigai
The single ray eye continued to look around the area, blinking a few times as he had opened it. He could see that there were still people coming from and to the exit and entrance of Saichuushigai. He could see no real danger in any of them, he saw no spirits. Then again, he wondered... what few he had saw, they were obviously not weak, or they had just gotten lucky. He would heave a light sigh as his arms went over his chest. He wore his usual attire today. A sleeveless black shirt, cloth black pants, and a leather band around his lower abdomen and waist, a tan color. His shoes were leather made. Around his neck lay a white cloak. And lastly he wore bandages around his forehead, the ones that would be around his left eye were around his neck, neck, and his arms. He had no reason for anything flashy like silver because he was purely a warrior, one that held his justice to the laws of the land.
He would turn his gray eyes from the gate, since he did not see a point to watching it. As he did that, he closed his left eye and started to wrap it again, the bandages going around his left ear as well, but he wasn't concerned about that. He would then look out with his normal right eye and listen carefully, and heard nothing, really. He wondered why the outside of the city seemed so quiet and peaceful at times, when he believed that it was more violent and chaotic, from his experiences in the past.

Minions: that was the purpose of my stroll through the city. In the days after traveling to Hejar to recruit a group of brothers who were charged with the task of designing my new empire, I decided to move around to the other cities to view them in person from a more objective oriented manner. This, of course, was performed quite easily since I held the ability to remain in my spiritual body instead of consciously staying in my physical form. While in my spiritual form, I didn’t have to worry about drawing the attention of peons, or becoming annoyed; which would probably result in large explosions. From my experience with the human population, I found that their children were too nosey, their poor were too social in begging and people in general tended to caste their gaze my way due to the fact that I was of massive stature and held a strict look of disapproval on my visage at most times. My spiritual form remained humanoid with my red garments flowing in an ethereal manner in the wake of my movements. My upper garments and padded gauntlets contained patterns in a language not used in this time period. I walk at a saunter through the center of the village, moving through the streets, seemingly with an area of objective in mind, invisible to the normal human eye. A carriage passes through the street moving through my body as if I were not there as I continue walking. It continues past me and I continue past it as I continue my walk, not having yet found what I was looking for.

The male watched as people passed to and fro, the day was slowly creeping by. It was starting to shift to darkness as the sun gave off an orange glow over the land. The apart one eyed male would sigh at that time as he made a look and saw an unusual creature- a tiger with wings. He blinked and then placed his hand over where his left eye was to make sure that the bandaged covered eye was not playing tricks on him. It did not seem to piece the bandages, but he was now curious in the way that humans are. His sixteen year old face showed a bit of it, though most of the face seemed to be covered in bandages, so for anyone near him, it would be hard to tell. She seemed to be going into the city, but Rei was going to stay out and inspect the forest. As it turned out, the lady in silver on the tiger had stopped it and then it went flying off. He was amazed at that and then looked at her as she was heading over.
He had no idea if she knew about 'One Eye Rei', but he was calming down as she approached. His bandaged arms remained crossed over his chest when the lady stopped before him and spoke a single world. He blinked before he spoke back, "Ah, hello." He gave her a bow- if she was dressed in silver and the guards were not trying to stop her, then she must be someone with some power. Rei's weapon- a scabbard-less long sword- would show from his bow, though neither arm went near where the handle should be. After coming back up, he would ask her in a curious tone, "What does mi'lady wish of this rounin?"

In my walking, I pause in front of a building as I fold my arms at my chest and look at it. Ever since beginning the theoretical creation of my new kingdom, architecture had become interesting to me. I find the building lacking in the amount of prestige which I would wish to acquaint myself with and turn to move on. As I do, I notice a familiar large beast move past me running down the road. I recognized it as my pet’s pet, which in turn, almost made it my pet. In my spiritual form, the beast probably would not be able to see me, but with my dark energy being the source of its abnormal growth, I decide to test a theory if it could feel me or not. I give a simple pulse of my energy, not emitting a spell or anything of the sort, just a small charge of the magical powers stored within me to see if it would cause the beast to pause in its running. I knew if it were around, its master would be as well, but at the moment, I did not have a use for her in any special capacity.

Rei would look at her a moment and then give a light chuckle as he said, "Ah, yes, they are a part of my dress, but..." He bit his lower lip- she was important, and knew of the healers, he just hoped that he didn't sound crazy, "My left eye is different. It's not like my right eye- I can see beings with it, rare as they seem to be..." He would pull off an arm band, and added, "Though every piece of clothing I wear hides scars." The arm he showed her- the right arm- had scars, some new and some old, three in view were pinkish, showing how new they were. He would look away slightly as he pulled the bandages away from his left eye and turned it to her with the right eye closed. It was a deeper gray then the right eye as he asked, "Is there any difference between the colors?" He wasn't sure, since he never really looked at himself in a mirror. He just hoped that she wasn't scared off or freaked out, or even thought that he was crazy. This was the first time he spoke of it to another person after that village two days before he got to this town.

A short grin comes to my lips as I watch the prowess of the creature as he stops at the feeling of my spiritual power. Animals were more useful in my book than humans were because they lacked many short fallings that the human consciousness gives to them. I watch as the animal moves around the area where I am attempting to sense me out and am impressed when he actually confirms my position. It stands there and awaits a command, seemingly, and I nod and speak to him, “good. Kaelas, isn’t that what the priestess calls you? You are a good animal. Walk with me, I shall have you in my company as I move around the town.” With that, I phase my body into the normal realm as I become physical. To normal humans, it would have appeared as if I had appeared out of nowhere. I really didn’t care about the reactions of the humans. After becoming physical and praising the animal, I look up and towards a market. I remember my ally, Malloc, in Hejar and the fact that trade was an important venture for him. If I had men with me at my build site, it might be easier to keep them supplied if we created our own food. With that thought, I move into the market to inquire about famers.

The warrior would nod, opening his other eye as he looked at her. He hadn't heard her other part yet, but now he did- spirits, it appeared they were. Strange that these beings, some ugly and grotesque, could just be ignored by others. He would nod his head as he spoke softly back to her, "I had heard that is what they were... or rather, are. I had found this ability out only recently, you see mi'lady: I killed a spirit with my blade, so I wonder if it's taint remains on it. It had been a request of the village's elder that I kill it- apparently it was immune to magic, or that is what he told me. It had been eating children, you see." She might be able to guess that fight is where he got the scars from, but that was not where they were from. They were from fie days ago, when he had rescued a little girl from a group of men.
He had a weird feeling, at the moment, in the back of his head. Talking to her seemed unlikely when she had first dismounted. He rarely spoke to females. He didn't find them disgusting or vile, he'd just never had the time while dealing with learning swordplay or preforming his justice. Perhaps it showed that he was new to this. But he wondered if that was all that was making him feel unease. Could it also be that there was a nearby spirit? He wouldn't express it- not with night rolling around. He didn't want to scare the lady. He had no idea if she could actually fight, but she seemed nice enough to him.

Rei gave a smile at the hero comment as he said, "A sixteen year old as a hero sounds a bit too young for me, and I'm still learning." He would look at her and then his eyes looked away as she said that they should get something to eat, which the swordsman replied to with, "G-getting something to eat would be great... I don't know when the last time it was that I ate something... I'm not waiting on anything." He had looked to the right, when a voice that only those near them and that could hear spirits were likely to hear, "You read my mind, human!" Rei turned to the left when something felt like it had stabbed through his chest, his eyes bulging as he felt a bite on his neck, and a hand pressed against the back of his spine's area. A vampire with white, silvery hair had his other arm around Rei as he spoke to the woman as he drank from Rei, injecting his spit as well, "Foolish to leave that bow behind, woman. Those guards will be too late to save him, and you. Your cloak hides my form from them..." He appeared overly arrogant for being in the shade of a tree with the sun still out. Rei himself was paralyzed from the strike and hold on his back. He wasn't a great warrior- he was just starting. But if this vampire had his way... would it be ending here and now?

I glance down as the beast disappears for a moment to feed himself before returning. So he was like me in that sense. He took what he wanted without worrying about the outcome. Still, that could be annoying if the merchant would have found out. As he comes back to me and follow with my steps, I warn the creature, “if you get caught, I’ll kill you.” That might provide it with a bit of motivation to only do things that he knew he could get away with; but then again, I had a feeling he went along that path regardless. After reaching the merchant’s cart, I look to the lad who smiles as he addresses me asking if there was anything he could help me with. That much was good; he had nice service, so I wouldn’t have to kill him. With a nod, I confirm, “bring your master to me so that I may speak with him.” The boy raises an eyebrow, a bit confused at first. My visage showed no jest in it and probably a bit creeped out by me, more than anything else, the boy offers, “The boss won’t be back until this evening. Is there something I can help you with?” With a frown, I find that this was not the answer I was looking for. Speaking more clearly to assist his understanding, I restate, “bring your master to me, or die.”

Feeling the blood enter and whatever the hell was entering him, he was let go after a moment and pushed forward as the vampired licked his lips, saying, "A magic user! Much more delicious then a spiritually aware human!" Rei had fallen to the ground with searing pain. One did not easily change into a vampire when bitten- a biological and chemical change was flowing through him and a grunt of pain came from Rei. He was doing everything in his power to keep from yelling. He heard her tell him to run, but with this pain, he didn't know if he could. He body was moving its self to curl into a ball as the night arrived slowly. Shop keepers and the like likely wouldn't stay out too much longer for those in the city, and it was likely it would close at night. The vampire would be more daring now as he jumped at the woman, ready to drain her blood. Not that he looked entirely sane to begin with. Through all the pain, something struck Rei- a thought came to him. She had called him a leech, a being that lived off another. The only beings that Rei knew like that were from legends he was told as a child in the village before it was destroyed: a vampire. A being that lived off of humans and sucked their blood to live, but the scariest part was that they could change others into vampires. The myth and wife's tale was that it was virgins, at least from his village. He fit that, though, and so he believed that he would be one. And if she acted this violently towards the vampire... would she kill him? Fear added to the pain as he wondered within his mind, "Will I... really die here, in the night and just meters away from guards...? As a beast of the night that craves blood?"

This was taking too long for my tastes. The other merchants around the area seemed to be in the process of packing up for the night and putting away their things. Another boy was in approaching, to assist the first with taking down the counter and to board up the wagon to leave. Unfortunately, the boy had a dissatisfied customer who decided to come to the counter near closing time and I demanded customer satisfaction. Of course, with the happens of another portion of the area, there may or may not be a ruckus forming depending on how the people and guards react to the situation, but I would only notice if the senses of Kaelas were perked by it. For now, my attention stays on the lad, until someone else walks up. With the annoying pitch of a woman’s voice entering into the affairs of men, my hand almost rises in a back handing gestures to remove the woman from my side by a block or two. But my hand is stayed by the response the woman gets from the male who seems to recognize and respect her. I frown at the fact that a woman could possibly be in a higher status position as a male. Since the male was now useless to me, I would turn to the woman, and in pointing at the wares simply state, “you, woman, go find me the man who produced this, or find someone who can. I will wait here as you perform this task.”

| | And so with a faint smile, I finish casting the spell with the words, "By the grace of the heavens, You are sealed" (Seal) I grimace as the spell drains some of my magical strength away. But the vaspire would not be able to use any of its magic or vaspire powers for a few days. Which would leave it weak to my next attacks. Hopefully the sealing would surprise it as I ducked under his jump with a forward roll to come up on my feet and turn around to glance at him my lips forming another spell. One did not mess with this priestess and get away with it. "Heavenly orbs come and attack my foe" Three orbs of light appear before me and form quickly into the shape of swords made from the spiritual light I had called upon. With a flick of my hand, palm out the hovering swords make a be line for the vaspire. After the attack, I glance down to the young man and sigh. I would have to take him to see Treshin after I finished with this vaspire. If I could just get him inside the temple, the priests there might be able to help.
Kaelas' ear perk up at the sound of new voice. He turned and sniffed the air his mouth partially open. Her scent was familiar, it had been on his mistress a few times but he was not sure what to make of her. The demon seemed to be commanding her at the moment so he plopped down and waited for something to happen. He would be on guard for now. Then he caught sight of the guards making their way to them. His hackles began to rise and a low growl emitted from him as made his mistress' master, mate, whatever he was aware of the coming authorities.

The crazed vampire smirked as he thought that he had the woman when a spell was uttered and he was struck by the spiritual attack, forcing him to land and skid a bit, a groan coming from his lips as he rubbed his head. He would quickly spin around and get up as a new spell was cast, three blades of light piercing into him. "Guh...!" Blood, Rei's blood, came from his blood and the stabs. Placing his hand to the blades, he tried to pull them out, feeling the pain of the blades within his chest. Pain! He should't be feeling that! Rei seemingly went unnoticed until now. A blade sliced through his back and stabbed into the heart of the vaspire, and ended up slicing through the body as blood blossomed from the blood drinking spirit's chest. The head of the vaspire turned around to look at a Rei with white hair and crimson eyes. He spoke in a soft voice, though it sounded sad, "Sorry, but... I had to kill you. According to the lore of my village, you would have been my master... and I can't have a monster like you as my master." After all, he was a rounin, and did not want to be bound to a master that would make him a lowly servant. The vaspire no longer had 'lives', and the last thing he said was, "And yet, boy... ha, ha, ha... it's far too late for you..." Removing his sword as he watched his own blood flow out of the vaspire as it fell to the ground and died. Having used adrenalin to move, Rei went to a near kneel, using the blade to keep him up as he panted. What had become of him now...?

As the woman looks to me, I look back at her waiting for her reply. She gives a reply that is acceptable and I nod to this and allow her to speak to the boy. The boy looks at her and bows answering, “he… he should be back any moment. I’ll go and fetch him to let him know to hurry.” With that the boy turns to the other boy and states, “start packing up here. I’ll be back with The Farmer.” The other boy nods and the first takes off towards the direction where we had come. The Farmer, as he would come to be called, was actually near the area where the chaos was taking place, one of the displaced bystanders of the priestess’s battle against some unknown evil. The priestess seems to prevail, and The Farmer gives a soft sigh of relieve as he seemed to share sentiments with whatever crowd was around. The boy approaches the area and The Farmer to pass along the message. During the time that this takes place, I notice the mood shift of the beast to my side and I look in the direction which the lad had run. The beast already seemed to notice something in that direction; maybe that was a sign to me to go that way? I turn back to the woman and comment, “I do not require shelter. It only takes me a moment to fly here from my domain.” I notice something about her attire which seemed to be similar to Kazakura. The remaining lad confirms it as he offers, “would you and your friend like a free sample of our fruit, Priestess Seijin? You can have one on me.” I look to him as he speaks, then back to the young lady as I nod, getting it; so she was a priestess much like Kazakura. “Hmm…” I murmur lightly.

It seemed that the woman was not going to strike him down, but instead try to help him out. The newly made vaspire would not refuse the help as he gave a groan of pain, his body still adjusting to such pains as she helped him up. Placing his sword into his make shift scabbard and allowed her to help him along the way. The guards seemed to let them into the city soon enough and the white haired youth assisted her in taking him as he merely gave a delayed nod to what she had said and said, "That would be great. Thank you... by the way, I'm Rei Yan." As they moved along, there would be a halt where a name was called out, Seijin. Whatever she meant to say stopped and then Rei noticed that something in the situation seemed off. The vaspire would straighten as he looked at the others, though he was still in pain, he tried not to show it, nor his mouth and its extended teeth. He wondered what was going on and why they had stopped here.

I look to the boy as he offers us some food. I frown at him slightly wondering if the deviant were up to something. The priestess offers one to me and I take it within the confines of my large palm. I look at the edible object but before I am able to partake in it, my attention is captured from the side. Apparently, this young one knew my pet woman. “Ah, you are here; put that thing down…” I begin, but am cut off by the young priestess who excuses herself to tend to the thing my pet woman was dragging around. Some people approach and would probably nab the thing and in hup hup hup manner, take him off somewhere to be serviced. If the lunacy occurs in a swift manner, it would leave me standing there, slightly perturbed. Either way, by this time, the boy returns with the Farmer and announces, “I brought him… high priestess!” I look to the man who is to be the farmer and sigh that something finally was starting to go in the direction which I wanted it. “Do not move!” I command the farmer, not wanting him to get carried away with the scenarios going on around me, “I have to speak with you.” The priestesses could do whatever they needed with what should probably become a corpse soon; that was unimportant. What was important was that I had my farms. I pause for a moment realizing they said something about a temple.

Everyone had just assumed that Rei would be taken, but he was wary of soldiers or guards from cities, as he disliked being bound to serve a single individual, he liked to travel too much for that. He seemed to narrow his eyes at them, but he didn't have the strength to resist them, for now. They had neglected to notice that he had a sword under his cloak, perhaps, one without a sheath. Moving too quickly would get them or someone still out in the night slashed. When he heard something about exorcism, he wondered something in his mind, "But... do I really want to get rid of this power? I was bitten and given this, and even killed the one who gave it to me. Is it worth getting it removed after doing those things?" He looked at the guards, and wondered just how smart they were. He might be able to hit one and draw his blade, but he didn't know how long he would last. From the biological and chemical change in his body, he ached all over. However, he would now turn his head to the girl that was likely coming with him- this Seijin person. He would ask a question to her if he was going, "How far away is the temple, Miss Seijin?"

Aside from the fact that they were going to a temple, my woman advises that the boy had been bitten by a vaspire. Having been around for such a length of time, I at least had knowledge of what that was, or rather the myth behind them. Those types were known as possessions that strengthened humans with their demonic tainting, or so was my understanding. That changed things around with this knowledge. The boy was no longer a dying thing; he now had potential and now they were speaking of exorcising him? That was silly. As was evident with my training of the human known as Adrian, I made a hobby of amusing myself by strengthening lesser beings into a form that would be able to contest me in the future. If the boy was truly strong, he would survive my tutledge and grasp the immortality of fable. If not, he would die and probably end up tossed in the sea. Looking to Seijin as after she apologizes and start to move on, I advise, “No, I will be taking the boy.” I address Kazakura, “Woman, wrap that (the boy) up and leave him here. Kaelas, pick up that boy and punish anyone who would stop you.” My gaze shifts back to the Farmer as I inquire, “I will need you to create floor plans for a farm that will span across an empire.” Of all of this, at least the Farmer seemed to be taken aback by the request, but I wanted to make sure my will was clear and that everyone knew what they had to do.

As the guards held me and likely started to move, there was a command from the guy, he wanted Rei. Then he said that, also likely meaning Rei, and he suddenly got curious: what was he thinking? Two priestesses here, because he was sure that Seijin was one as well as the other woman. He would only assist the woman in his getting out: as it was night, his strength would likely be on par with these guys. A command from a priestess should be followed by soldiers, as he saw them. Common guards in his mind. However, his movement would be to the tiger and he finally got a chance to look at the cloak- the entire side was soaked with his crimson liquid. He looked away quickly as serpentine pupils formed in his eyes. Damn, now he was thirsty... why was he so thirsty? Was it true then, that even as what one might say was a lowly servant, he was a vaspire? He would control himself from trying to get up and attacking anyone. They were only here to help him, but they were on different sides: three versus the village. He failed to see the logic in the silver haired man's logic. He would ask weather he was still in the guards arms or if he was on the strange tiger creature, narrowed eyes at the big man, "What... are you?" He had the supicion that he was not a human, he didn't know if that size was actually possible for a human to achieve.

Seijin's guard's were second's from speaking, but Seijin lifted her hand causing them to shut up as they held back there tongue, Seijin was adding pieces together in her mind as the look on her face became a little serious compared to her kind hearted nature, she was remembering things and then looked toward's Kazakura who was listening to what this man said. Exactly who was this man, what sort of power did he hold to order Kazakura around that easily. Seijin's guard's permitted for Kazakura to take the boy from them, but soon after all that the serious look disappeared as though it was never there to begin with as she lowered her hand and she smiled and nodded. "Quite the kind heart you have, very well, he shall be left in you're care." She said as she looked toward's Kazakura now. | | As Seijin gives me those looks, I sigh a weary breath. Taking a few steps towards her, if she lets me, I lace my arm through hers like a I use did when I was going to talk and walk. My expression very serious and grim. When we were far enough away from everyone and out of hearing range, I sat down on a low wall and patted the spot next to me. I was still within viewing distance. “Priestess, I have not nor will ever lie to you. But do you remember our talk at the temple a few days ago about being wary of those two specific demons? I glanced at Domen and sighed. “That is one of them. I am trying to keep the peace at the moment. For if I cannot stand to him, I have tried a few times now, I know that High Priest Treshin cannot. And even if he could, a fight in the center of town with what that demon can do, will destroy the town and kill hundreds of lives. I have seen him fight first hand. He has no care of anyone but himself. The power of his spells would spell the death of too many. If he wants the soon to be vaspire, let him have it. One life versus hundreds is a fair price. Eventually I will find the vaspire and destroy him. Of that I am certain.” I watch as said vaspire is nudged and prodded by my tiger. “I found kaelas after the demon and my first battle. Apparently the demon’s evil has tainted him more than I had originally thought.” Another sigh as I look directly at her for the first time in my explanation, my eyes showing the truth of my words. “I have not given up on stopping the demon, but I cannot stand and fight him in the center of a village. That would cause too many deaths on my soul.” Hopefully she would understand the weight of the knowledge I carried and the decision that I had just made.

In her useful manner, the woman Kazakura does my bidding as required. The beast hesitates and looks to his immediate master; for that I would not fault him as loyalty was a big issue in my book. The Farmer seemed a bit hesitant, but my gaze laid upon him long enough for him to answer. “What are you… a warlord or something?” he inquires. There is no response, as I wait for the answer to the actual question. After a moment, he nods and admits, “I probably could. But I would need to see the location… and it would be costly.” I nod and advise, “those are small things. I will meet with you here tomorrow when day comes. Be ready to travel and you will be rewarded for your obedience.” The Farmer is taken back by the method of talk, but since the High Priestess seemed to vouch for me in a ways, he would nod for now and excuse himself along with his assistants. With that, my attention turns back to the group. I was pleased with the progress of such a short talk. I hear the question from the young man, who is to theoretically be the vaspire. It was my thought that he had more important things to worry about than my identity. But to speak with a wound like that; it impressed me enough to acknowledge him with at least a nod. I turn and notice the guards back off and the priestesses go off to walk and talk. That much was fine; my woman knew where to find me. I could always send her beast after her; but I had no intentions in waiting for mortals. Looking down to Kaelas, who should have a grip on the boy by now, I order it to “come” as I walk off to take my leave. I would be heading in the direction of the edge of the building. Though the boy had mortal wounds, in my mind he was supposed to be immortal, so therefore they mattered not. As I walk, I speak to the boy stating, “I am the one known as Domen’yun. You are interesting to me. I fully expect you to walk on your own strength before we reach the edge of this village.”

Rei was feeling better in a sense as time went on; the bleeding in his neck ceased and thus the wound closed. His vaspire Regenerai had kicked in and closed the wound. So he would be gaining only the strength back to his body as he waited. It seemed that the male was creating a fort or perhaps a kingdom of sorts, with the way he spoke. The farmer (for as far as Rei could tell by clothing and the way he was spoken to) would leave with his two assistants or sons or workers, whatever they were. Soon after that, the male started to leave, and so likely was Rei via the mount he was laid on. He would gently push himself up as the other spoke, saying that he expected Rei to be able to get up on his own before the exited the village, which he thought was possible, given the strength he was feeling. To him, now, blood was power, and he would likely need some soon. However, he control himself with a swordsman's discipline, though he did not know when that would give out to this thirst for blood. He was told the man's name was Domen’yun, for that was what he was called, and that Rei interested him. That was somewhat confusing, but Rei would give a response, "I see, Domen’yun... I'm Rei Yan." Anything else he needed to know was likely irrelevant at this point, seeing as he was being taken. He could comply with the other request soon, as strength was returning to his upper legs now, as he rode the exotic beast.

| | Being taken by the arm by her high priestess friend Seijin looked toward's her and walked with her. Seijin's guard's didn't do anything but watch Seijin as her and Kazakura walked off to talk about something. Seijin would sit next to Kazakura who began to talk about the current situation. She explained to her, not fully into details but the overview of whats going on, and it appeared that this man was one of the demon's she was walking about. Finally it clicked into Seijin's mind that this man was a demon and her eye's widened as she was surprised that this man was a demon, he looked like a regular human to her. She looked back to her and listened as she had explained about the tiger, so apparently it belonged to Kazakura, but was tainted by the demon. Quite odd Seijin began to think and process thing's more quickly as if her mind was like a pencil drawn painting and color was being added. Thing's didn't appear so black and white anymore not at this very point. Something needed to be done, Kazakura couldn't do it by herself, Seijin looked away from her and then glanced down toward's the ground, but one thing didn't sit right with her though. Why hasn't the demon killed Kazakura by now? Seijin would look to Kazakura and stared at her. It couldn't be... She thought to herself as she just smiled and nodded her head. "No need to worry, I am not so unaware as you may believe me to be." Her hands came in front of her and her fingers touched each other by the tips, but the palms of her hand didn't touch each other. | | I sigh and shake my head turning towards the way the I had come and glancing about for the two of them. My voice comes out softly and dejectedly. "Pray, Seijin. Pray for me that I come through this with my soul still intact. It hurts." For a moment my true emotions showed on my face and could be heard in my voice, depression ran through my heart at this moment. "I will tell you the story of how I met that one. After i had met those from the future, I was out hunting a lesser demon. After dispatching that beast, I heard something and that was when He showed up, he killed an innocent boy. Seijin, right before my eyes. A fight ensued, and soon enough I was unable to move as he torn my clothing. He raped me, my friend. It was unpleasant and painful. He left right after and I figured that I would never see from him again. I revived the young boy. But I could not have been more mistaken. It seems that every time we come upon each other, even tonight, it is a simple coincidence. Neither one of us has ever truly searched the other one out. I have fought him multiple times and each time ends up the same way, with rape. Sometimes, I take the easy road and appease him, like tonight. If we had fought in the center of town, there would be more death than my own." This was all said so that only she could hear it. "So Pray, Seijin. The watches have something planned for me involving this demon, but what I cannot fathom. I may not survive it, but there is some reason I am being thrown in the path of this demon. The watchers have been known to test the faith of their followers, and we as holy people are no stranger to this. But sometimes my strength fails me, I am only human."

I continue to walk, leading the way to the edge of the village with both arms folded at my chest and my chin up with Kaelas to my side during this time carrying the wounded boy. Luckily with the evening and lack of light around the village, drawing attention to ourselves would be a bit harder to do than it would be in the middle of the day. After all, a bleeding young man being carried by an abnormally wild beast next to a herculean figure couldn’t be something that perused the town on a regular basis. As the boy speaks, I notice his voice was stronger than it had been originally when he asked for my name; this was a positive sign in my assumptions. Also, I had a name for him in return to giving my own. This much was positive as well. Aside from his ability to regenerate himself, I knew that vaspires also had harsh cravings. I would make my expectations to him clear on that point. I speak, “if lore is correct, you may have an intense craving to fest upon the essence of humans. That much is fine, but what you will have to require of yourself is the strength to separate yourself from your baser cravings. I have none. Cravings are weaknesses. You should have no weakness. If you have weakness, you should have dominion over it and only allow it on your own rational terms.” We had been walking for a while, so I state clearly, “stand up.” I pause in my walking as I turn my gaze upon him. My halt in movement causes Kaelas to stop for the time being to allow Rei to perform this function.

As the trio reached a certain point within time, the crimson orbed vaspire listened to the man speak about the lore of the blood sucking race that he was now a part of. He would only lower his eyes for a moment before he tore the bandages from around his neck, since they were bloody anyway. He looked down at them hatefully before he said, "I will do all in my power to control my craving... because I feel it now, but I'm surpressing it..." He would tear his hungry eyes away from the blood soaked bandages and watch as they stopped a bit before the gates, likely before the guards would see them. Rei pulled off the cloak, which was like the bandages, though only blood soaked on the left side. He would roll the bandages within the cloak before he remembered the command. Rei would gently get off the beast as he wondered how his legs would do. They held as he reached the ground, and as he walked to get behind the man as he held the cloak under his arm. It was a part of his past, though he said, "Attachments to my past... like who I used to be... my teacher of the blade said to toss them away, once you enter a new life style. Toss away the old you, but retain the pieces for information. What do you think of this, Domen'yun?" Though the white haired vaspire was curious as to the answer, he was also wary of Domen'yun. He was as much a random figure in his life as the woman who had helped him, but he just didn't fully trust the man yet.

It was such a sad and depressing story, but she sounded like she wanted all the help she could get even though she say's she plans to do it alone. This demon was too powerful, far to powerful for her to handle by herself. Seijin would look down and her hands rose up to her own chest as she felt a painful feeling there. She looked toward's the ground and after Kazakura had finished talking Seijin came up to her and she brought her hands around Kazakura and embraced her in a hug. Her palms flat onto her back as she just felt her there her head along side of her's and she spoke softly. "As human's we may be weak compared to demon's but that is the source of our very strength, we may be weak compared to them, but we have something they do not have." Seijin still considered herself human, even though she was possessed by a onugi herself. "We have the will to live, we have emotions, we have the ability to survive." She kept holding her hoping that her hug would help her some. "While we may have test's we are not forced to take them alone, please High Priestess do not think that this is a problem only for you to fix, you are not alone in this world. Remember you have your temple, you have friends, you have the other priestess's and you have me. The boy takes a moment and I listen to him as his words come out. I would see from his words that he did indeed hold the symptoms of lore. It was good that he were suppressing them. I did not care at all if he feasted on humans, what I cared for mostly was his ability to hold his self control and not resort to a mindless beast who thought only to satisfy his cravings. I answer with a solemn “good” after he states he is using his self control. Watching, I witness as the boy picks himself up and off f the best. He stands and walks up to me and I nod in an approving manner. It was among my thoughts that he had potential and was proving to be strong already. As he begins to speak once more, I continue to walk, now coming to the edge of the city, moving outwards more so into the rural surroundings and moonlit countryside that would exist outside of the village. As the question comes, I answer back within a particular tone of insight in my voice, “then your master is commanding you to forget him as well. An odd request for a master.” After moving away from the village a good distance of several meters my gaze is away from him and towards my front as I speak once more stating, “it is my understanding that today you were a human and now you are something more. Even so, you are weak.” No doubt any person with a mind in their skulls would have questions. Of course, they would not matter, but in order to assure there were no misunderstandings, I clarify turning with my hands behind my back, my own crimson orbs glowing in the darkness of our surroundings, “I am one of great power. You are on the eve of witnessing my ascension to power over this land. I am a god come from another realm and another time several times over and I have found this place good. Former human, Rei, you are both blessed and damned by the acts which fate has performed this day to bring you before me with a new life and potential. Know clearly, it is my will to make you strong and use you for my purposes until you are at a stage where you can defeat me.” There was no indication that I had any reasons to lie as my voice suggested straightforward bluntness. I allow this time for his response, be it favorable or unfavorable.

Rei would follow the man and repiled to his comment on my master's words, "True, Yamamoto sensei would have said that more bluntly... forget all former masters because the new on has his own way to train. That was his reason. Though he was my first master." It seemed that they would walk in silence, meters through the countryside of the village that housed the Temple of Light. Strange that the man did not talk further, but Rei would only follow after him. He didn't need to talk, as he was used to traveling on his own and in the silence. But they would not go too far without the man speaking. Rei turned his crimson pools to the man as he stopped and spoke bluntly. To paraphrase, he said that Rei was weak (and understatement, maybe) and that Rei would witness a new era, though to him that meant lord. The man was from from some other realm and time (something hard to believe for Rei) and that Rei would be trained and used until he could defeat Domen'yun. His eyes became curious at this, and he took some seconds to process everything. He would speak slowly after about fifteen seconds, his mind racing with this new information, "Domen'yun... I do not understand... you took me to train me to defeat you? Does defeat mean beat or kill you? It's..." It was unusual, a thing he had never heard of. He would calm down a bit and then say, "But... I will take your training in the place of Yamamoto sensei's... his was a slow and not very progressive way." He didn't know what to expect, but he still didn't fully trust the man. He wanted Rei to defeat him and that he was from another realm? Or even another 'time'? Rei had yet to see such items as guns and bullets, and without items of such construction, he would be hard pressed to believe this demon of such bold, outlandish claims.

I stand there in out moonlight surroundings as he replies to my query. It was a bit to take in at once, but I trusted that he would be able to work everything out within the confines of his mind well enough. After accepting my will, I answer him shortly, “very good. You may seek kill me if you can; death would be more honorable than defeat for me, if such a thing is possible.” Moving on to more important things, I begin to go into the basics of his training with a very swift lesson plan already mentally in order. My feet slowly lift from the grassy meadows around us and my body levitates from the ground. My body comes to linger an inch or so above the knee-high grasses of the nightly meadowland and I look down at him from said height. I speak, “now that you are no longer human, your mind must move past such ideal as held by humans. To a human, the simple act that I am performing with the same ease as breathing will seem like an impossibility. Work as they might their entire lives, a human will never be able to escape the bounds of such an insignificant thing as gravity. Understand what I am saying to you and break forth from human convention that would seek to keep your mind bound by the laws of the human realm.” Possibly the most important portion of the lesson plan comes, and would be the contrasting agent between his former master and myself, depending on the answer. I allow him to answer, “Boy, do you believe that what I am doing now is possible?” It was a fairly simple question with a seemingly simple answer. I would wait upon his reply to this query.
