"Hey Metro, have a drink.." | SIMRP: Open Untitled-1

A smile that once held a place on my face had disappeared. The state of the human world, in all of its volatility, had gone into what I considered a dark age. There was a powerful demon running around somewhere, and current relations between our two people was at an all time low. If I had known that things were this bad when I was protecting the other world, then I would have tried to do something about it early. Humans were so narrow minded, and for some reason I felt it was my duty to bring it to their attention. There were still people out there that wanted a peaceful solution to this issues. Unfortunately, the only way for me to get them out here was to draw them out. I had to be careful, so I stood there for several minutes while contemplating ways to not kill anyone. I stood on top of a roof at the edge of the city. There was a strange force that kept me away, even though I figured I could probably break through it if I absolutely had to. I wasn't about to do that, especially if it decided to keep me in there. I thought some more, then made my decision. I hadn't really done this one in a while, so maybe it would work. It was a beautiful day anyway. I had a feeling that alarms would go up everywhere after I was done. turning away from the city, I looked towards the area to find an escape route, just in case things went downhill.

"Spatial furiousity, destroy. Hall of the Thunder King!"

Slowly, my body lifted off of the ground and shot up into the air. I floated high above the city, about a quarter mile, and looked down there in thought. For a moment, I was at peace. Finally, it was time for me to begin. I inhaled sharply, splitting the energy across my body. Throwing my arms forward, the skies would darken for a moment before several bolts of lightning rained down upon the city metro. Im sure there were lights going off in an office somewhere. Lets see what you've got.

PostSubject: Yo, sexy   "Hey Metro, have a drink.." | SIMRP: Open EmptyThu Oct 29, 2009 6:02 pm

It seemed an ok time to be out and about, though usually her travels commenced during the night and she would be asleep around now. The lower commons had a giant border with city metro, the largest border between subdivisions in the entire city. Grunty, now a small black vixen who fluttered on misty, black wings from rooftop to sagging rooftop like some mammalian raven, was surveying her territory and doing some deep soul searching. Sales had dropped off dramatically, mostly because she hadn't been out selling herself. Somehow peddling chemical vacations to the impoverished felt appropriate when she still had no elemental control and was a newcomer to this plane. Now that she felt the strength in her muscles, the electricity that snapped and surged through the black mist, the sharpness and potency of her teeth, doing work herself seemed wrong and a waste, even the administrative work she did with the two lycans. There had to be some easier way to generate revenue, a way that would leave her with more time for the pleasure she'd come to this plane seeking.
Such thoughts ran through her head as she skirted the border to City Metro, the invisible line enforced by a number of turrets that turned their baleful barrels in her direction, vaguely detecting her spiritual signature and warning her to come no closer.
The fox spirit would heed the inaudible advice. Nothing in City Metro ever drew her to the point where she would risk injury to explore it...
...until something came into her sight that drew her to an abrupt stop. All four of her paws went into arresting her progress, and she almost seated herself, flapping her wings and gaping until she fell ears over tail and rolled a short distance.
It didn't take her long to pick herself up, her jaw slightly injured as she looked on at a kamikonjou. It was the guy from her salvia trip, even though she knew her bloodstream was clean now. He rose into the air until he was but a small dot at around a thousand or so feet in the sky, and seemed to call down lightning to hit the barrier.
Grunty sat back down, now thoroughly confused. What spirit in his or her right mind would be attacking that barrier? Especially a spirit that she perceived as weaker than herself... she must've taken something this morning to bring on such an illusion. Mentally, she went over the last fifty or so things she took, trying to recall if any of them had particularly strange side effects..

SIMRP| Hey Metro, have a drink...
Escalated NPC Interaction

The stimulus begins in the facts that there is a spiritual target about a quarter mile over the streets of the City Metro. Related to this is the fact that the skyscrapers of the City’s metropolis easily measure over a quarter mile in height. Generally unknown to the likewise general population, between spirits and humans not within the confines of the organization known as Division 12, a barrier system known as SpiritNet covers the City. The manner of this system exists as a hemispherical barrier of area enough to cover the City Metro and all the buildings within from outside spiritual and magixal harm.

Regarding that fact, while darkening the skies momentarily, an unnatural lightning attack castes down from the skies and strikes this barrier around the same height as the offending target is flying. The multiple lesser strikes of lightning as well as the coupe de grace illuminate the stress points where they strike giving translucent green outline on the barrier, giving some semblance of its massive size and shape.

Internally, Division 12 central control in the City Metro would be quietly answering the threat. The various cameras positioned upon tall buildings would be able to zoom in and give a visual of the offending spirit, and information from the attack on the barrier would be added into the Division’s database in real time. Within a control room, technicians murmur out tidbits such as the existence and pinpoint location of an unknown spirit with Delta Level output capabilities. The attack is described as being “too close for comfort.” The counter response is set up.

After the lightning strikes the barrier, there would be a momentary awkward silence where it seemed that nothing was happening in a response. The city below was unharmed and there were no alarms, sirens, or vehicles flooding the streets.

The lightning sent a scatter of green light across a small area. I brought my right arm up to my chin to scratch it for a moment. it seemed like my idea to bring a human out to talk had failed. Curiously, I wondered if they even noticed the bolts. Oh well. I chuckled lightly to myself, wondering why I had even bothered trying to start with. The humans weren't the type to listen to reason anyway. On the other side of that, I had attacked their city with no real reason. Maybe they had some kind of way of seeing me. A city with something like that would probably have a decent system for surveillance.

"Heeeelllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

My right hand would run itself through my hair, spreading it lightly between each finger before waving around above my head. I'm sure there was someone on the inside asking himself "wtf"

The man spoke, his voice hadn't changed a bit since she'd seen him in that dream. Perhaps deja vu', since the spiritual barrier hadn't yet acknowledged his attack. Knowing how he hit like a pansy, though, she would guess that maybe they decided he was a bird smacking into the shield or something.
"Oy!" she would shout, not sure the figure could hear her at his considerably more elevated position. "Ye batshit or something? The fuck is ye doin?".

"Hmm.." Shou hummed to himself in thought, as he took a step forward to come beside Grunty. His gaze was also upwards into the sky on the kamikonjou, having arrived just in time to see the bolts of lightning strike against the invisible wall that surrounded the Metro of the city. The oni wasn't certain what Lightning Tiger might have been trying to accomplish, especially since this barrier was supposedly very powerful, able to keep even higher order demons out of the City Metro's borders. Slipping his hands out of his pockets, he snickered lightly before throwing a glance Grunty's way. "Been some time, eh? This looks fun, though!" With that, he kicked off from where he stood, since it didn't seem as if the other demon would be partaking in this kind of fun. Shou had always wanted to test the force field that protected the heart of Sai City, but he had never expected to come about doing something so soon. In the midst of his ascent in the air, he called out his chant, "Infernal flames! Sharpen your form!" Fire blasted from his hand and out into the air around him, coming to mold into the shape of four scimitars set aflame. They then shot forward towards the barrier while Shou came within speaking range of the kami, not expecting to succeed where the other had all ready failed. For this one, such a thing might have been acceptable since he was an angel, a being of good that was supposed to be on the human's side. If he just wanted to talk, surely they would grant him audience. Shou, on the other hand, was a demon, being of chaos. Such priviledges weren't usually granted to him, but those things no longer mattered to him. "Hey, Lightning Tiger. Heh, should we be preparing for some kind of retaliation here?" The oni asked, the quietness from the area unsettling as he crossed his arms over his chest and awaited something more proactive.

SIMRP| Hey Metro, have a drink...
Escalated NPC Interaction

Time: Middle of the Day

Surveillance remains on the original aggressor as his voice is recorded and his mannerisms questioned while preparations continue. The great thing about the military state of mind was that a danger was often met with some type of offensive force. A second demon comes into view as a secondary attack strikes a portion of the barrier causing a similar fiery response. In like manner the barrier is stressed, but holds as data is taken on the secondary higher order demon to be recorded in the Division’s databases. Though the lightning would be easy to explain as a weather phenomenon, the fire in the sky would require a bit more creativity to explain to those who would notice it during the busy day or catch it at such a height. However, in a world with Realm2.0, it wouldn’t be impossible. Even though the targets were high up, they were far from invisible, especially to cubical gophers in the taller of the building in the Metro who might find it odd that two people would be walking on air if they were to notice at the distance. Still, having waited long enough, the response team had been in position quickly after the first attack. Their retort would come quickly after the secondary attack and during the demon’s dialogue with the other; probably around the word Tiger.

This response would come simultaneously and inaudibly, as it was still daylight outside. Though there was already a level 1 disturbance, the issue did not need to be exacerbated. In this scenario, the sound of a high caliber sniper rifle coming from the heart of the city wouldn’t do, even if it had a chance to be hidden well in the sound of daily life, cars, horns, traffic signals, metro rails, etc. Therefore trained snipers in urban camouflage would be in position hidden at various locations within the Metro as to not draw attention from the general populace and cause worry. They wouldn’t emit any special type of energy signal different from the thousands of humans who currently populated the metro. It is assumed the Division’s snipers would be competent enough to judge a targets movement and aim properly. The fact that it was a nice day out with good visibility, not described as windy or rainy, would aid in the response swift response. As most snipers are required to be able to hit the body of a target at 400m (i.e. ¼ mile) the range shouldn’t be an issue in this situation.

So in short, two precise shots from silenced sniper rifles are taken, targeted for the both demons’ chests with the fact that a direct hit wouldn’t be needed for damage. Aside from that, critical redundancy efforts are put in place with control waiting on the sniper’s results watching the scene unfold and active units are updated on the situation.

"Hey Metro, have a drink.." | SIMRP: Open Untitled-1

I heard a familiar voice, causing me to turn to face the other.
"Probably something soon.. maybe.. I dont really kno-"
This would put my position completely perpendicular to the shots that would be fired. With a smile on my face as he attacked the barrier, I wondered how much damage it would be able to take before faltering. Whether or not I would test that was about to come to fruition, with the deciding factor the bullet that would strike my arm. I had never been shot before, but the pain was something that i would not soon forget, especially since it took me straight out of the sky. I wondered what would have happened if I had stayed standing there with my entire body open wide for an easy picking. The humans in their infernal, eternal arrogance had managed to strike me without cause. Sure, I had done something to get their attention, but I had also floated up there where they could obviously see me. I brought no harm towards them, just a friendly knock to see if they would be willing to openly communicate. The only thing I got out of it was a highly painful injury. As my body fell through the air, I would fall between the buildings and down across a semi truck. The trailer would falter from the force, and the shock to the driver would cause him to slam on his breaks, bringing the vehicle to a halt. The contents of the truck were none of my concern. Slowly, I laid there for a moment in thought, wondering why they would actually shoot down something without question. If I had wanted to do what I was now going to do, then I would have just done it. Now that I had been attacked for little reason, they were definitely going to get something back.

I rolled out of the side of the truck, all the while pulling my arm down to my side. I lowered my jacket while traffic horns blared around me. I had managed to cause a scene, which was something else I had wanted to avoid. Pulling my right arm up, I tore my sleeve off of my left arm, then wrapped it tightly around the wound. Flexing my fingers, I could feel myself becoming slightly more angry than I had wanted to ever be. Hopefully, the Fire Lion would be in better shape than I was. Inhaling deeply, I held it for a moment before thrusting the air straight out of my lungs. I was currently standing on a city street, with a boat load of electricity to use. I wasnt happy about doing this.. not at all. Taking straight flight at full speed, I tucked my body against the side of a building.

"Tear of space, shot of light, scream my children, strike!"

Balls of light would rise up across the area, being pulled from the lights, through the air, out of the buildings and cars, and from other random sources of energy. It was the middle of the day. If they wanted to play dirty, then I wouldn't hold back, regardless of how many people got in my way. I wasn't leaving here until I got to talk to someone.
I would hold the balls of light across the streets, not wanting them to attack until I forced them to. I wanted a peaceful resolution to this, unless provoked by the humans.

Batshit indeed. The fox spirit rolled her eyes in derision, noting the tiresome predictability of the humans in response to some nut bothering them. Quite a pity to see the one she'd taken under her wing engaging in such self-destructive behavior, but with his rebellous nature it seemed fated to happen, so fated that she wouldn't actually move to help him or try to convince him to stay away from this one who she viewed as a weakling.
Then again, as the tiger tumbled down from the sky, she felt that they might be in considerable trouble, especially since the other lytning user didn't seem to get the hint. Standing up to her four feet, she leaned backwards, her rear going into the air and her front claws springing out to their full length as she gave a wide yawn, stretching herself almost lazily.
Trotting shortly to the edge of the building, she hopped off, allowing herself to fall gracefully until she came to balance atop a flagpole that jutted out from the side of the slummy brick building. It seemed a nice enough vantage point to watch the action unfold, but she certainly wasn't entering the fray yet, if she were at all. Such a troublesome matter seemed hardly worth her time unless she had some strong allies by her side. Then again, she wouldn't hesitate to bail out her friend with a portal if the other got them too deeply into trouble..

His arms would have come to cross over his chest at the opportune moment, providing a buffer to the attack that had come far more swiftly than he could have expected. A sting shot through his right limb, his eyes widening at the sudden intrudence to his body as the bullet came to lodge into his chest. The force of it forced his arms out wide and his body to drop from his position in the air of his flight, beginning a descent where he still found himself shocked and unable to comprehend exactly what had just transpired. Just before him blood spilled out into the air from his arm and chest and the pain from the foreign object in his body brought about a clearer realization. Looking to the side, he saw the kami in the same position he was in, rapidly falling down to the ground below. Well, the humans certainly had a pretty effective way of picking off those that bothered them. As the wind rushed and greeted him, Shou coughed out, the bullet interfering with the notion of steady breathing, terribly disliking the mortal's weapons all ready.
Rather than allowing him to fall away to the streets below, the oni suddenly flipped through the air, a trail of flame following the path of his feet as he came to land ontop a platform of fire. His next thought came quickly: motion. The disc he stood upon allowed him random and sudden movements through the sky, starting with a sudden flight to the left. His hand reached upwards and felt along the point of entry, the bullet having been halted before it could have gotten too deep in his body with the fortunate slowing his own arm had provided. The demon's fingertips could feel the very metal.
His breaths came in deep gasps as he forced himself to gain the wind he had lost once more, the disc redirecting an instant later to shoot him straight down, then right, down, then left, down. It was almost nauseating. Losing altitude was key though, pulling away from the openess of the air. His gaze was fixated on the plausible buildings that would have housed the shooters, considering where he had been hit. "Bastards.." Shou growled before he allowed the walls of other buildings to rise up and take him out of their vantage point and eventually dropping his feet down to the pavement of a sidewalk. Again he continued to move, dripping blood as he walked. By this point he had forgotten all about Grunty, more ticked by the wound inflicted on him. "Damnit.. Atilla, I need some help. These fucking humans.. heheh. They're really asking for it." His grim expression was broken by the presence of a grin that forced its way through the strain of pain.

Atilla had felt something was amiss since the pungeant smell of blood awoke her from her slumber, and she noticed that the pocket she lay curled up in was moving and thrashing about, heat fluctuations seizing the air she breathed.
Her little mouse head popped out of the oni's pocket as soon as he spoke her name, her mind filled with worry as she saw the source of the wound. "Oh my..." she said, her monotone broken by her concern as she scurried up his arm and lay her paw on him, praying in Latin for his healing as her paw glowed and began to help the skin knit itself back together and push the bullet out. "How did this happen?"

SIMRP| Hey Metro, have a drink...
Escalated NPC Interaction

Time: Middle of the Day

The report to Operations follows along the lines of “targets hit and descending. Kill shots not confirmed.”

It is henceforth assumed that the Division would have access to more than 2 snipers alluding to the previously mentioned redundancy measure set up in place; simply meaning there would be more than one angle any given shot could have been taken at. Luckily for the Division, the Metro and East City were the most heavily patrolled areas in the City.

Plucked out of the sky, there is a good chance that both demons make their descent into some vicinity of East City, given the lack of ‘bug zappering’ that would have come into effect had they made contact with the barrier surrounding the City Metro. With Operations in communication with field teams, the trajectory of at least one of the demons is easily calculated as the other takes a more round about method of getting to the ground making less of a scene. Information is continually fed to trained agents in the field who are brought up to speed on the Spirit Alert. With the events of the previous attack on the Division’s HQ leading into a citywide infestation of hellhounds, the agency did not want to take any chances, as any Higher Order demon could have been the one behind the previous attack.

It would take the ground teams a bit longer to reach the Fire type than it did for them for reach the Lightning type, though in the background of the city’s daylight, they would be in active pursuit of him. With the other, given the speed of acceleration due by gravity, the time it would take to get up and off of truck bed, tie up a wound and compose oneself, the target would be retargeted with a positive visual on the target.

“I have the shot,” an on site agent reports from his location before reporting, “wait, I’ve lost the shot. The target is heading towards the buildings two quadrants from my location. Mobilizing for a better shot. Delta team, back up. The target is still hostile; I repeat, the target is still hostile.”

RP| Hey Metro, have a drink.

“I’m requesting a stand down,” my voice speaks over the comm line, “Operation, I would advise to use this time to surround the target to reduce his option of flight. Gamma squad will attempt a live capture as the target may have information pertaining to the Headquarters attack.” The response comes in from Operations, “Sergeant Asei, you have the green light to attempt a live capture on target alpha. Teams will be in place to back you up. You have five minutes to negotiate his surrender before the target is neutralized.” I lower my hand from my ear and look up giving a soft sigh. Given the current direction of my team, I found it would be a shame to slay this demon without attempting to gain intel from it. The demon had fallen in the proximity estimated by HQ and I just happened to be in the area to check on my squadron during their morning patrols. I was in my normal daytime attire of black slacks, boots, belt, undershirt and collared shirt with the top two buttons casually undone with my various ‘tools’ holstered on my belt. The Division 12 crest with the sergeant rank would be on my belt just to the right of the center. Having pulled Tapp and Ingel with me, we would be on the scene as the demon manifested his balls; probably for something destructive. Luckily, the demon held his balls. I make my way towards him with team member or members in tow as I look at the mess created from people responding to someone falling out of the sky, onto a truck, and then dashing away.

“We have multiple shots,” I am informed in my earpiece as I approach the Lightning demon. I advise Ingel to look alive. My steps come to a pause within a few yards of the demon, if permitted, and in speaking up, I comment, “stand down and come with us.” I didn’t want to be vague or have any misunderstandings with what I was trying to convey.

When Jyn had shown up, I first expected him to join the team but he quickly approached me and informed me that he needed me for something and I was more then glad to go along with him to help with what ever it is that he needs me for. Though when Jyn came and got me I didn't know what was going on, after getting into his car and heading on our way he informed me of what was going on with the demon in the Metro and that we needed it taken alive. Having no problem with what Jyn had to say I went along with the plan, it may lead us to more information, or at least getting demons of the streets. After arriving on the scene, I move out with Jyn and Tapp, following close to Jyn as we moved towards the target. When Jyn informs me to 'look alive' I give him a faint nod as I lock my gaze on the demon we are after, raising my pistol up and taking aim at the demon. When Jyn comes to a stop, I stop next to him and keep my gaze locked on the demon and remain silent, letting Jyn do the talking.

"Hey Metro, have a drink.." | SIMRP: Open Untitled-1

My body fell backwards, leaning against the side of the building. The balls had spread out across an eighty foot spread, covering almost two blocks. The amount of energy I could release would be more than enough commotion for me to get out of here. I left my right hand up, with fingers extended. The white part of my arm was slowly being tainted by the red that was absorbed in the cloth. The smell of it slightly irritated me. I hadn't had my blood spilled since I had came to this realm, now wasn't a good time for me to start. I thought about it for a moment before the balls lifted up into the air above the area. I wasn't a terrorist. I wanted them to know what I could do, and that I wasn't going to. there was a difference between demons and angels. I was a protector of the other world, and had felt it my duty to assist in the destruction of this higher entity that had caused so much damage. The only words that caught my ear were "stand down and come with us".

Turning, I looked at the human that now approached me. Curiosity took me, and I wondered if he was someone who would be of any use to me. I had to get along well with the military, especially if I planned on my current course of action. I had tried rather nicely to just get their attention. I had stood up in the middle of the air in broad daylight with my hands up where they could see them, and what do they do? They attack me with more than enough force. Did this human think that I was in a pleasant mood right now? I hoped he had the sense to understand that I now was wounded, and very, very irritable.
"Unless you are someone of authority, that isn't happening. Stand down, or I attack civilians."

The vixen yawned widely, her eyeteeth flashing briefly as she seemed bored by the way things were unfolding below her. She was closer to her friend than to the other lightning user, who'd fallen some distance away apparently, but she had to squint, thinking she saw some faint glint on the oni's chest. For some reason, this intrigued her, but she wouldn't approach him to ask yet, simply leaning forward a little on the flagpole and taking a good, hard look..

The demon felt a wave of relief as the bullet was pushed away from his chest, the metal clinking against the pavement of the sidewalk. Shou sighed as he felt the healing powers of Atilla work over him and repair the wounds the bullet had caused. "Those humans' weapons sure pack a punch in 'em.. all from that little bit too." The oni muttered lightly, before running his finger over the mouse's head in a soft stroke of her fur. "Thanks for that. I'm gonna need some more. And if you can.." A grin spread across the oni's expression as some devious thoughts began to run through his head, reckless notions that intrigued him. "Buff me up." Shou finished while coming to a slow in his movements. For the moment, he seemed to be in the clear, though he wouldn't doubt that the Metro's forces would be in pursuit after his attack on the barrier. That was fine. A fight could be fun. As his hand reached down and gripped the hilt of Mabushiiken, the red strands of his hair began to pick up in the air around him, spiking outwards into a great mane around his head. He tilted his head back and closed his eyes as his canines forcefully grew outwards from his mouth, transforming into giant sabre fangs. When he snapped them back open, his normal crimson orbs had lightened to a burnt orange. Drawing the katana out of its sheath, he brought it to his side, glancing down towards the blade briefly before chuckling. "Don't worry, Atilla. I won't kill any of them." Shou stated, rounding a corner and changing his course to head in the direction of the barrier once more, also figuring he might see how Sanzo faired as he had fallen much closer to the Metro than he had. "I'm just gonna hurt 'em bad."

Now the kami had been asleep in her boyfriend's pocket this entire time, oblivious to the goings on before the gunshot. Since the bullet lodged so close to his heart, she could only assume some humans had been attempting to kill him for some reason, this reason she couldn't discern.
Nonetheless, from her viewpoint it seemed as though he was acting out of some degree of self defense, and he didn't want to kill the humans in turn, merely cripple them. This trust she had of the other had grown through experience, and she no longer felt the need to question him, simply nodding and deciding to gift him all the power she could. Since he was her de facto body guard, she decided this wouldn't count as unauthorized use of her abilities.
She nodded at his request, yawning and stretching briefly. She scurried back up his shoulders and rested both paws on his shoulder, concentrating. "Maiorem hac dilectionem nemo habet," she murmured gently, solemnly, as one might whisper a sweet nothing into the ear of a lover. "Ut animam suam quis ponat pro amicis suis."
In response, a faint, golden glow would issue forth from her palms, making a small, shining cloud about her and boosting the strength of her partner at the cost of her own powers.
When the spell was done, she would scurry back into his pocket, more than a little afraid of whatever might be pursuing them as she counted her rosary beads and prepared her next prayer.

RP| Hey Metro, have a drink.

Clarification of the atmosphere: Within the portion of East City that Jyn and the Thunder Kitty would be in, the latter’s electrically charged particles would cover an area of about 80 feet in radius given the technique did not or does not fail. Noting the fact that the average city block spans between 80 and 100 yards, it is understandable that the electrically charged particles would cover almost or at least 1/3 the city block.

With the day’s events, the Division’s activity in this portion of East City and the City Metro increases dramatically. Given the fact that there were several agents now in this area and that individual agents wore equipment that allowed them to track demons and drove vans with Spirit based radar in it, the few “innocent” demons who normally were able to come into East City, posed as humans, would be picked up discretely with tactical precision and “arrested” or disposed of. Stated bluntly, being in spirit form in and around this area did not mean you would not be noticed. Walking around with a sword in a transformed state didn’t help evasiveness either. After several moment of having lost target B, he is detected and a visual is gained with the location reported back to Operations. Another target worth mentioning is detected as well.

My visage remains emotionless as I continue to look at the demon before. I give an internal sigh at the fact that he thought he actually had options in this given situation. Standing among the glittering particles of light, I could assume it was some type of attack that the demon was holding. The fact that he did not perform the attack right away meant that he did not want to randomly attack without reason. He probably had some type of motive, but that was the furthest thing from my cares. I knew the demon couldn’t be feeling well with a sniper bullet to his arm. In my thoughts, something like that would have taken down a large man, but these demons were something else. With the mindset that all demons, especially ones who threaten civilians, were the enemy, I give my response. “Terrorists forgo their rights. In exchange for your life, you will be secured and escorted to a Division 12 holding facility where you will divulge any information you have on the previous attack on the City Metro.” Around this time, a van stops within proximity of my two men and me. The side door slides open and three agents in tactical attire exit sticking close to the van and lifting their weapons to stand by. There is no pause in my speaking as I continue, “Operations is allowing me to take you into custody for this reason. Trust that time is not a luxury either you or I have. It would be best if you did not resist. Stand still and you will not be harmed as I have my men secure you.”

"Hey Metro, have a drink.." | SIMRP: Open Untitled-1

I watched the humans scurry about, as more of them began to gather in the vicinity. I was slowly beginning to get worried. Each of them had a group of friends, and a loyal family. I knew the loss of family, and how I had not seen my loved one for a long time. It would be wrong of me to do the same to others for no reason. Today was not their day to die. I had come here with peaceful intentions, and this human had threatened me on several levels, and was probably the one that ordered me to be shot down. I was not in a good mood, and was slowly beginning to lose my patience. It would be rather bad if I had to attack everyone around me to get out of here. Unfortunately, my objective was the successful communication with the military in terms of the demon from before. I had heard of him when I served in the other world. It would be best if I filled them in on what I knew.

"Officer, I am growing tired of this game. I came in peace to communicate in an open manner. Stand down, and I will come with you in peace. I have yet to attack your people, dont make me start. It would be a shame for your men to die for no reason. I come in peace for the same reason, with information that would be of great assistance to your people. If you wish to find the demon, you would do well to cooperate, as the knowledge we have may be invaluable to you. The demon is a priority for both our people."

I waited for his answer. All it would take is them lowering their weapons for me to come quietly. If not, I would see how much they were willing to put on the line. I wasnt going to be a prisoner for the humans. If they wanted a war right here, right now, I would give them one. My pride was still something that I would follow, regardless of what they thought. Slowly, my right hand rolled over, with one finger pointing at the van where they had unloaded. The balls of light would slowly float down towards the ground, spreading out to maintain the maximum level of damage. Even if they did fire at shot at me, I would probably be able to do more damage here than they would want to recover from. There was no need for needless death here today. We both had a job to do.

I kept my gun and gaze trained on the demon as I listened to what he had to say, threatening the civilians. I wasn't about to let that happen and if needed, I would take the shot and put the demon down, but only if I had to resort to such actions. For the time being, I remained silent and let Jyn continue to do the talking. When the van showed up, I glanced to it for a moment before looking back to the demon that is poised to attack. When the demon mentioned he had information for us, I glanced to Jyn. Was this information he is speaking of something we have been looking for.. There was no way of knowing right now, the only thing to do is to go on the idea that it may indeed be something we are looking for, and if it was, we needed this demon alive.

The oni's body flashed out a blast of flame around him that wisped away into the air shortly, feeling the sudden boost in strengths that he possessed. At this point, subtleties were a past thing in the chaos Shou began to thrive for, giving into his beast mentality. He snickered at the sight of the Metro, a target he could hardly resist. As he began to lean forward to dash in the direction with newly found speeds, the oni hesitated a moment. He recalled something Grunty stated about the place, housing humans that were more than likely capable of stopping his destruction prematurely. Shou kept his smirk though, knowing well he wouldn't abandon that thought. In any case, he still had his pocket angel with him and he doubted she would continue to support to that cause. "We should see where Lightning Tiger went, yeah?" The oni asked aloud, though his only company now resided in his pocket. Leaping into the air, a disc of flame ignited under him, swirling as a platform that his shoes touched down on. His form shot forward, laughing with surprise at how swiftly the road would pass beneath him as he moved forward to locate the kamikonjou. Shou figured it'd be a priority to see if his employer had still lived after having taken the bullet, then he could find the humans responsible for their wounds and enact some revenge.

The fox's large ears turned forward, picking up the sound of the little mouse's chanting. Her eyes narrowed wickedly as she licked her chops. It wasn't given to her to remember immediately that it was the same mouse she'd slipped on to him when he'd chosen to leave Propaganda, only that she hadn't eaten in some time and she really could go for some mouse.
Intrigue and concern, however, were the feelings that lead to her discreetly hopping from one building to another after the oni, following the smell of burnt air more so than his actual form, which was rapidly fading into the distance with his apparent speed boost..

The little mouse climbed to the top of the man's pocket, her whiskers reaching and feeling around in the air before she brought her entire head out, those large eyes of her seeing the world go past very quickly. She lacked the mental stamina to really comprehend it, she was tired. "Lightning tiger?" she sighed wearily. Somehow the name seemed familiar but she couldn't call to mind immediately who it was. "You came with a friend?"

RP| Hey Metro, have a drink.

With his sudden increase in speed, Operations momentarily loses their visual on Target B. They report his general direction and last known location. In this environment, the same hindrances of the terrain would apply all around, making the tracking of Target B a fun ordeal through the buildings of various shapes and the activity of the city life. Operations would assume that Target A and B were somehow connected since they seemed to verbally communicate to one another at the barrier, but they would also assume that because they verbally communicated, the chances were low that they could non-verbally communicate. Furthermore unless the two had a method of communicating to one another at a distance, then it’s projected that the two targets might not be able to reunite right away, or at least within the five minute window given to clean up Target A. This is based on the implication where Operations felt that both Targets were focused on falling after being shot, having to ensue all the down, up, down, up, left, right, left, right, a, b, select, start, of the falling from a quarter mile and focusing on buildings where snipers could have been or may be housed. Operations did not discount the fact that even though they both fell some distance from one another, that they couldn’t possibly reunite and become a larger threat. It may be true that on entering the same city block of Target A, the sparkles of light could possible be seen in the daylight. If visible from a distance, they would be hovering amongst some of the smaller city buildings. Needless to say the Division would be busy on covering all bases.

Passing through an area of East city, a field agent picks up Target B’s presence via SpirVision. It beeps like a cop catching a speeder, but passes much faster. The report is given that Target B was sighted but reported to be moving like a bullet through that area of East City. Another blip on the radar picks up as a Target C is discovered moving much slower behind Target B. It is reported that the demons could possibly be growing in numbers and it was assumed that Target C was a threat as well, being a spirit following a spirit.

I noticed the gaze of the demon shift past me to my men as they came in and set up near the van. The demon remained hesitant to use his technique but seemed more than willing to speak more. My secondary strategy heavily banked on a lengthy response from him if he chose to refuse to lower his guard willingly. I find his words a bit of a contradiction. He states that he had not attacked ‘my people’ so far, but my people were humans. He performed an attack on the city in the middle of the day, which was full of people. Had the barrier not been set in place, then innocent people would have died. I couldn’t be lead to believe that the demon was fully aware that there was a barrier around the city and that if he performed an attack, it wouldn’t go through the barrier and hurt innocent bystanders. I felt that either this demon was really dumb or really smart. Giving it the benefit of the latter, I assume he’s intelligent enough to change his tune given the fact that he was surrounded. It was also a possibility that the lights covering this third of a block were all show and he didn’t actually have anything to attack with. There did not seem to be any other rational motives to me to why he would prefer to speak rather than attack when this entire event was raised because of a senseless attack. It was common knowledge to me that coming in peace did not involve an offense; in fact it did the opposite. I wondered if he thought if his actions would seem like water under the bridge given the fact that his initial attack failed and he was heavily wounded. Of course, I was no mind reader, so I would not be able to readily tell his intentions, or whether his words were truth or lies; I just the short pattern of history to go by.

After his words, I get the signal into my earpiece from one of the men by the van who advises that “we’re set in 3… 2… 1… online.” With that, I did not think there needed to be any more words for a demon that thought he could call the shots with the Division. We would take him in, reviving him if we had to. Maybe he would notice the movement of the balls or maybe he wouldn’t. I hated for it to come to this, as this was the messier option of the two, but this one seemed to dense for the amount of time I had to spend with him and was furthermore unversed to the world he had come into. I give the order “fire” to the two at my side for them to quickly render the demon harmless with their pow pows.

Holding my ground, I kept my attention focused on the demon who is holding the attack, poised to unleash it upon the area around him, but I wasn't going to let that happen, if Jyn allowed, I would take the shot and put the subject down, with lethal force if I have too. Though, since it turned out this demon may have information that we are after, or at least information that could help the Division, I didn't think Jyn would want it to be taken down with lethal force. No, if it has information then if the time came I would be going for something that wouldn't kill the demon, just put it down for the count so to speak. When the order was finally given by Jyn, I didn't hesitate to follow the command. Without hesitation, I make a slight adjustment to my aim, changing from the demon's chest to one of his legs, taking aim at his knee before I give the trigger a quick squeeze, firing a single round targeted at the demon's knee in an attempt to take him down.

Post WC: 185

In unison with Ingel as the signal came to fire, Tapp would fire a round with is pistol aimed for the shoulder region of the demon with further shots pending the demon's actions. The hope was that the shots would beat out the spell in reaction, breaking the demons concentration and interrupting the spell causing it to fail if hit.

"Hey Metro, have a drink.." | SIMRP: Open Untitled-1

I had hoed the human would stand down, and lower their weapons. All I would have done is walked over, and got in a vehicle with them. I had tested getting into the city before, and had already been fully aware of the barrier. The knowledge that no harm would come to the humans had I attacked it was within my memory bank. I released a sigh as the words finally escaped his lips. If my blood was to be shed, then so be it. Unfortunately, it was the humans who held the hostility this time. I had offered an alternative, and even asked nicely twice to stand down to avoid bloodshed to the humans.
My right arm would slam towards the ground, drawing the glowing balls of energy to spread out across the area with the humans, they would ignite, sparking into a burst of destructive energy that would be focused into the area of those three and the van. While there were more humans here, I wasnt about to strike those who were innocent. This would come I felt the pain strike my leg, and one hit my shoulder. Great. Two bullets in my arm didnt make me very happy, but with the amount of energy going off, I knew my subordinate would easily be able to find me. I tried to bend my leg to take flight, but that would have put me into firing sight of another sniper. Without trying to harm more than necessary, I wanted the human to know that my blood was spilled, and an equal amount would be paid in his men.

I felt my back hit the wall behind me, and my body hit the ground as I slid to a sitting position. My right arm would finally fall to my side, resting on the ground. At a light spark, I would deal my last little tidbit before closing my eyes in submission. I had two courses of action, and neither one involved me going "quietly" so to speak. Hopefully the Lion would get here. Then again, I had also hoped he would stay away. He would probably kill someone if he had the chance. I bet he wasn't in a very good mood. In a light tone, I spoke.
"Void of spatial thunder."
A light singe within my chest would split as I let my final spell off. Smiling, I hoped the human would reevaluate his course of action between now and our next meeting. Slowly, I let out a deep breath, lowering my head. I didnt want to see what was coming.

As the streets continued to rush behind him, a series of loud explosions and shots had managed into Shou's hearing. "Heh! Yeah, I'd say he's having all the fun without me too right now." This became less of a scavenger hunt for his employer as he now moved at near-bullet time speeds with purpose and direction. That direction took him to the block that housed these commotions, sighting up ahead the downed kamikonjou who was surrounded by a number of vans and several human agents. It was a shame to see the Lightning Tiger done so soon, but of course the man didn't hold the same advantage he did with the companion that he held. "Infernal flames!" Shou shouted, his form continuing to rush forward as the humans and Sanzo would draw up very near very quickly, while beginning to flare out with a new intensity of his magic. "Rage your unrelenting chaos!" Surely they would have heard him finish his chant, coming into their view as well, as he threw Mabushiiken towards the ground, the blade cracking through the pavement slightly with the fierce amount of strength he had backed in his thrust. Red rings would have flown out and coated the ground and streets around them in a wide range that wouldn't have neglected to include even the buildings of the block (50 yard radius). Unfortunately, the Lightning Tiger would have been in the midst of this blast as well, but as far as he knew there were hardly any wounds in this world that Atilla wouldn't be unable to attend to. Besides, these humans must have belonged to the same group as the snipers that had shot him out of the sky. Revenge was an issue he didn't care to deny.
Shou dropped from the air, his foot coming to land on the hilt of the blade as a grin spread across his face. "And burn it all!" He shouted, thrusting an arm upward into the air as the flames of hell blasted forth from the rings that had painted the streets allowing it to consume vehicles, civilians, agents, and the lower bases of buildings alike. Any other approaching vans within that fifty yard radius would have been taken in by the same flames, and those that were outside of the blast would find it in their better interests not to tred into the carnage.
Shou chuckled as he ripped the katana forth from the pavement, his feet coming to land down onto the street as he dashed forward towards Lightning Tiger, with the intentions of retrieving him from the sticky situation.

The fox, meanwhile, began to pant, the effort of hopping from rooftop to rooftop making her increasinly tired. "Bah..." she said resignedly, laying down atop one of the nicer establishments. "This is gay."
That statement seemed reasoning enough for her to lay down on the building and rest, the square design of the roof concealing her from sight for the moment. .

The pocket kami found herself motion sick, just a little bit. She hoped in her heart that her friend's friend was a good person, not another oni. Then again, he didn't seem partial to other oni, so the friend really could be anybody.
But then her eyes looked down towards the wounded fellow kami on the ground, and her whiskers began to twitch. When the ground drew up close, an exclamation point seemed to pop over her head, one of recognition. "The Lytning Tiger?" she'd exclaim, confused, right before her partner perched coolly atop her sword and proceeded to wash the area in explosive heat.
She blinked. If everything was destroyed, she would have to do a lot of healing... not that she minded, but it seemed an awful lot of trouble to kill someone in order to save them.
Then again, this was Takashou-sama in question. His attacks tended to cause a great deal of peripheral damage. She would be the one to sort out the mess.
Meanwhile, she ducked inside of his pockets and covered her ears and head with her paws. The place they were standing didn't seem to be coated in the flames that blew up everywhere else, but the fabric guarded against the unpleasantly strong stray heat that she would be susceptible to.
Taking a deep breath, she prayed, "Levavi oculos meos in montes, unde veniet auxilium meum?"
In the midst of the firestorm, a stylized, shining cloud would send down a gentle, dry rain of spiritual energy, aiming to increase Shou's abilities a little bit more.

RP| Hey Metro, have a drink.

The blast of electricity would be significant and would cause much damage to most of the third of the block it encompassed. Luckily by this point, the chance for people to stand inside of sparkling electricity while police held a man at gun point decreased with the higher brained human knowing enough to at least stay back from the electric haze allowing Darwinism to show its colors. Of course, there would be casualties as no normal human would be able to survive a destructive level attack. Car alarms would be going off for the remainder of the block and the shock wave of the blast would have affected those just outside the range of the blast. In panicking manner, people who could do so, fled from the area in attempts to get away from ground zero. Traffic would be piled up just outside the radius of the affected areas with people having to resort to leaving their cars in fear of the unknown. The general thought process was clear; something unknown causes a big disturbance, let’s run from it. Of course there are the few people who would go in to investigate the issue, but once again, Darwinism would be in effect.

I had miscalculated at least two things in my zeal of attempting to capture and subdue Target A. I had assumed that he may be bluffing and I also had assumed that shooting him would interrupt his attack. It was evident that was not the case. Data is calculated increasing the categorical danger level of Target A. Luckily I had time to get my chess pieces in order before the blast. True to the words in my earpiece, we were set. The time it took the SpiritNet barrier to push out from the van couldn’t have been more perfect. It covered the position of Ingel and my two teammates as the order to fire was given, thus the previous mention of balls moving. Yet, a third assumption was shattered as I found out that I wasn’t as prepared as I thought I was. Where I had expected to be to be protected fully by the van’s local area barrier, the barrier failed, a testament to this creatures power, upon the destructive level of the attack. Of course, even if I though the barrier would hold, I wasn’t cucumber enough to remain cool and not attempting to guard, at least from a huge burst of light of the attack, just before the barrier failed. Indeed the attack compromised the barrier and the remaining force struck my body, thus placing me on my back with the wind knocked out of me accompanied by a harsh ringing in my ears. Looking up, I notice one of the members from the van saying something that would be along the lines of, “Sergeant, you should really wear your pendant when you’re outside. Are you okay?” I see his lips moving, but it takes a while for me to hear him and assure that I was fine. A hand comes down to help me. Reaching up, one of the men pulls me up and dusts off my back grinning, “you call the close ones, Sarg. Operations is a hornet’s nest now.” There is chatter in the background among the other men there that the local area SpiritNet was compromised for a matter of moments, but since the Van itself was armored, there was no damage to the core system to stop it from rebooting itself.

RP| Hey Metro, have a drink.

Operations would be busy attempting to contact us, though they would have a clear visual of our area given their various vantage points in the initial stage of backing me up, so of course this area would have extra special attention paid to it now. I knew already that Operations would be pissed at the amount of city and civilian damage that had ensued. The orders from Operations would be crystal clear permitting no more talking and to take down mobile targets on sight. I confirm in my mind that I was right about the demons all along and that there was no way this one was here for peace of any kind. He was far from a martyr in my book. The buildings would be able to repair themselves over time, but the lives lost would not be able to be replaced. As I get up, I look around at the destruction caused by the demon and notice that was his last attack, as he lay motionless at a distance.

There is a small beep beep beep from the van and a quick yell of "incoming" which is about all that could be said with the speed of approach at whatever was already there by the time the words came out. Neither I, nor any of the men of the van would react quickly enough to see Target B land in our vacinity before he stopped and landed. Since the destruction of the lightning attack, attention would still be on the area we were in. When the demon lands, a keen sniper sees something simply "appear" there. With the orders given to shot on sight, his finger pulls upon his trigger just as the demon raises his fist and flames spread out from him out to the surrounding areas. The bullet would be en route to the demon's chest, but after the shot is fired, the visual of the demon would be loss in the growing dark flames that would spread through the streets of the area, funneling through the alleyways and open paths in an blocks radius. Those who decided to stay and watch the Division at work find themselves an early grave as the fire makes its initial rush through the area. Those who had not fled fast enough were overcome by the flames and normal humans would be burned asunder.

Unfortunately, neither my shot, nor the shot from Tapp stopped the demon from unleashing his attack and before I could fire off a second round the attack was released. With the attack released I instinctively brought my arms back and crossed them in front of my face as I braced myself for the attack the demon had released. At first, I didn't feel anything from the attack but after a few seconds I felt the force of the attack, though weakened, slam into me. As the weakened force of the attack slammed into me, I kept my arms up and maintained my defensive stance as I weathered the attack. After the force of the attack dissipated, I lowered my guard and glanced around before looking to Jyn. My attention quickly shifted from Jyn as a large amount of flame burst to life and once again my instincts took over and I brought my arms up and took on a defensive stance once again, expecting the flames to hit me much like the last attack had done.

Another strike of a bullet shot him off his step on the hilt of the blade, this one passing in and through his body cleanly as he began to fall back. "Damnit.." The oni grunted, his chest suddenly feeling heavy and strained. "Atilla!" Shou would call to his companion in signal for a healing, while a trail of flame guided his feet to whirl through the air before swinging to land back down onto the pavement, his arm thrusting out to grip Mabushiiken's hilt. The suddent movement pained him, and his vision seemed to tunnel for a moment. Fortunately the cover of flame would only pass once he had regained his composure and shot out forward once more, in Lightning Tiger's direction, carrying himself on a low-riding disc of flame. The movement was fierce, so the oni only managed to grab the other by the sleeve of his shirt. Shou focused his gaze skyward, then, as the blocks of East City had recently become infested with the faraway bullet shots, safety seemed to be in the altitudes that surpassed the skycrapers. The platform of fire that he carried himself on shot upward towards the sky. "Idiot.. don't expect this of me often." Shou stated, glancing down to his grip. Within the clenches of his finger was a torn sleeve that flapped in the wind. The oni blinked at the sight, before snickering as he allowed the piece of fabric to descend. "Bah.. good luck, Lightning Tiger!" Shou exclaimed, deciding he'd done what he could at least to try and rescue the kami, continuing on upward.

Atilla seemed a little sick, what with the smell of blood and smoke permeating the air. She bravely clung on to the oni's sleeve, however, despite his movements, and managed to pull herself paw over paw to the site of the new wound, another nasty one. Hanging on the collar of his shirt, she touched the site of the injury with one foot and began reciting the names of Bleaus, as used in a worship song. "Wonderful, glorious, holy and righteous..." the mouse said in English.
Things were moving fast, however, and soon she found they were up in the air, her claws still clinging to the top of his shirt as she looked down at the shred of cloth. "Do you think he will be okay, Takashou-sama?" she said with slight concern for the other living being. He wasn't a human, so she didn't too much care to ask him to go flying back in to the chaos below after him. She had no way of knowing whether or not he'd been corrupted by his time on Earth either.

RP| Hey Metro, have a drink.
As I feel the searing heat surrounding our radius, my mind recalls the moments just when the demon landed in our midst. There was something that told me that something dangerous was going to happen. My ability to sense demonic auras had led my eyes to witness the stricken pose and the current flames that ensued around our location. The flames had a lingering effect different than the lightning attack. Through guarding myself from the lapping flames that had compromised our portal, I am able to feel an almost instantaneous departure of the demon that seemed to move skywards. By the time I would be able to look up to where he was, he would assumedly be long gone, at least for that moment.

The magical flames seem to fade with the departure of the fire demon, the visual of Target B had been lost that quickly and Target C seemed no longer to be a threat or in the area. Naturally fires lingered inside cars, on street carts, inside buildings, etc. The current ground zero of the capture operation was in shambles from two Destructive Class attacks. A bit more advanced than the archaic notion of disaster response vehicles, the city’s fire prevention measures initiate inside and around most buildings in the form of foam spray and the building’s self repair technology would retard further flames from spreading. Operations continues to be both vigilant and frantic about the pursuit of Target B, thus the search would continue. I would report that I had a strong feeling that Target B had taken to the skies. The ground unit is advised to secure Target A and to take defensive measures as Target B might be returning for another attempt at rescue. There comes a warning that the van had been stressed from the attack, but assistance was on the way. It would be a while before the area could possibly be cleared for the city’s emergency crews to perform any type of clean up, as the situation was still deemed hostile. Frustrated, annoyed, and hurting all over, I am able to brush myself off and stand on my own strength and order the securing of the now crispy Target A. Three men rush the corpse, not taking any chances. It is shackled in various manners and carried to the van, where the door would close after it’s securing. If there were nothing else nor any interruptions, the scene at this point would fade.

The oni snickered to himself at the question, keeping his gaze skyward upon the fires of the sun as he continued ascenscion, pulling passed the tops of the skyscrapers and looking out the length of the city as the disc of flame slowed to a stop. He felt his wounds blessed by the rat spirit once more, lifting the pain away from his body. "He'll be fine. He's an angel after all, ain't he? That's not the type of spirit they should be containing." Shou grinned widely. "So much for human appreciation for their kamikonjou, eh?" He wasn't an angel himself, but Shou still didn't intend to allow a capture of his own person. Not to mention his pocket kami. "All right, Atilla. We're leaving here. Keep me boosted!" Shou exclaimed, the platform of fire beneath his feet carrying him forward towards the relatively lower buildings of the slums with the sight of the western forests just beyond it. The oni decided if any aerial forces gave him pursuit, he could at least make it first to the covers of the forest. Assuming his chaotic heart still raced with adrenaline, he might have taken the time to enjoy setting some more humans aflame. If there was no aerial pursuit, Shou would exit the area of East City.

I kept my arms up in defense in case the flames made by one of the targets were able to get through the barrier and make contact with me, though that wasn't the case as the barrier kept the flames at bay. When the flames finally began to fade and die down I lowered my arms and let out a light sigh before I finally began to look around at the damage the blaze had caused to the portion of the city I happen to be in. When I noticed the men running out to what I figured was the demon we had been shooting at, I glanced at them and the target for a moment before I turned my attention to Jyn. Before heading over to Jyn, I slipped my sidearm back into the holster under my arm before I began making my way over to Jyn, " What are we going to do about the one that got away? Are we going to go after it or are we going to let another team handle it? " I asked, coming to a stop close to Jyn before I gave another glance around at the area.
