Let the games begin? So...You wanna be a gamer?

I blink as I look at the pamplet I got when I bought the system to play Realm2.0 online. Now I'm not usually into these kinds of things, but Its usmmer and without school I have time on my hands between jobs. I frown as I read over the operating system and then peek at the time. I wonder when the tech dude is going to come and hook this up. I know Yume will be thrilled since she loves to play this when she goes home. Apparently her dad is a gamer too and gotYume into it. Its not horribly expensive and I sort of caved when I got to play a demo and make my own chick. It was fun.. And horribly addictive. I chew on my lower lip. Well I guess I can add this to my "I'm a dork" list. I mean I'm already an otaku so this is like icing on the cake.. Right? I sigh and plop myself on the floor as I continue to read. Hmm.. A world based on the books of War of the Realms. I grin in happiness. Well I know where I'm going first!

A slender male teenager in a Elgoog shirt and khakis gazes up at an apartment complex standing behind his company truck. Fair in complexion, mid in build, and a glasses type, he would probably have been either a prettyboy or cute popular type had he not gone the route of tech nerd and learned of computers and gaming. His gaze shifts down from the penthouse styled apartments, down to a clipboard held at chest level in his hands as he double checks the address of the service order; it was for a Kyro Shiori. A finger lifts to press his black frames against his visage as he starts to unload a large box from the back of the truck before closing the back of it and making his way towards the apartment, his last set up for the day. After a moment or so, there is a knock at the door. Double-checking the address with a quick look down to the label on the box, he looks up and then call out from behind the closed door, “excuse me, I have a InterSpace Realm2.0 set up…” 186

I lay back and hold up the pamphlet over me as I continue reading about the interaction and the different realms of play. THen a knock startles me a bit and I sit up. I smile as I hear a voice and I get to my feet and walk to the door. I open it and blink at the sight of a large box. Oh! Poor guy was forced to carry it. Least we have an elevator. I quickly grab for the box and pull it from whoever it is and turn, heading into the apartment. "Come on in. SOrry you had to carry this all the way up here. Just close the door and follow me to thwhere you'll set up," I chirp, the box an easy thing for me to carry. I move into the spacious living room with one of the newest models of digital screens out on the market. I then set the box down, humming happily. I really wanna test this baby out.

The male blinks as the heavy box is taken away with ease as a girl, of all people, carries it away as if it were a dinner plate. He pauses for a moment and hesitate before coming to and speaking, “oh, it’s no problem, ma’am. It’s my job.” A sweat drop descends the side of his head as he moves into the spacious living room, looking around in awe of the digs. He walks up to the side of the box as it is set down and hands her the clipboard motioning for her to sign it while asking, “so setting it up in here is okay, or where would you like me to put it?” During this time, after she sits down the box and looks up, he finds it hard to look directly at her and was blushing. 140

I finally look at the tech as he comes up and holds out a clip board for me. My eyes widen just a bit. Oh kami.. He was the cute nerdy bishi type. I take the clip board and smile. Dark and mysterious and the pretty nerd boys always were my weak point. "Setting up here is fine since there is more room here and its an easier access point for my room mate and myself," I reply, looking down at the clip board and sign it easily.

He nods, “hai, then I will set it up here. Ano… this’ll take about thirty minutes. I’ll try to hurry it up.” He crouches at the box and begins to open it up. Rummaging through it he sets the pieces here and there making a mental list of what he needed to do to set up the realm. The company was pretty good and making the system non invasive to the pieces were powerful, but not huge. He speaks as he works trying to pick up a conversation, “so are you into online games or anything?” Of course, he would say something familiar to himself, but afterwards feel dumb for saying such a geeky thing in front of a hot chick. 121
