Dwem had a meeting to get to that morning as he was just fresh still in his mind from the work on the rewrite and waiting the many, many reviews from his think tank of friends and his personal Beat test groups that were empowered to not only read but to rip apart his book from all angles. After a week of waiting Dwem was informed that the research and marketing Division of the Raithen Publishing House.

When he was called in, as he was informed the results of the study and test review groupings were ready.

Dwem woke up as he was up for a good early start as per say. Looking around Dwem popped out of bed and went towards his bathroom, as he was all so eagerly ready to get started on his day. Showering and dressing Dwem made his way out of his bathroom to the sight of a tearful Nasakie and an obviously upset and completely distruant Megumi. Dwem gave pause, as he knew they normally did not react like this unless there was some good reason of course.

Dwem was troubled while looking at the both of them for a moment considering them. Dwem seemed a bit curious but at the same time concerned in his own way. As he finished dressing Dwem was told the Raithen House car was there waiting for him. Gathering his things Dwem asked them what was wrong.

Nasakie started to say something but tearing up all the same to the point, she was unable to be understood at all, no matter how much Dwem tried to concentrate on her words. Looking up at Megumi as to ask for some help as he expected by her facial features knew what was going on. Dwem was motioned to sit down and he did as he was given the whole of the story.

After a bit of hearing what had occurred through Megumi Dwem was not at the least amused, some low nothing editor in the Raithen Publishing House would so blatantly insult his friend and cheerful advisor like that. Taking the letter from Megumi as it was addressed to Nasakie as Dwem pulled out the letter and read over the whole thing nice and slowly before he looked up at his friends. Turning around Dwem was taking no time at all to finish dressing before he was storming out towards the car. He was steamed and he was in a hurry to get a hold of that prick and choke what sense he had remaining entirely out of his thickheaded skull.

Dwem was stopped as his friends joined him but Dwem was still fuming mad as they entered the car before him with all of his stuff. Dwem got inside the car as Dwem picked up the phone as he instructed the driver to get there as quickly as he could. The car took off towards the Publishing Houses Main Corporate building. Along the way, Dwem looks into the other friends who were helping him and gave his Agent a call leaving her a message since she was in a meeting.

Dwem was not all too concerned by that, as he simply wanted her to look into this matter as soon as she could and get it fixed if he was unable to himself.

Dwem moved along with his to do list he had created since he discovered his upset friends and was enlightened by their story as of what was befallen onto them from the soon to be former Junior Editor. Reading the letter again and again as it clearly insulted Nasakie as in some way she lacked any experience to judge a piece of fiction writing or to give a readers point of view in advice for the books content.

Looking up as Dwem was making some notes as he considered the distant structure as it was coming closer and closer every few minutes. As they finally pulled up to the front of the huge Office Building Dwem was quick to open the door and hold it open while his friend exited the car while the door attendant stood there silently stunned as he realized Dwem did not wait for him to open the door before exiting himself. Offering a slight smile Dwem put a tip in the man pocket as well as the driver. Heading inside as the door attendant quickly rushed towards the door to open it for them. Dwem walked in bowing slightly towards the man before thanking him.

Heading up past the reception desk as the young woman at the desk seemed to be busily reading over something until she saw Dwem pass by her. Rushing out from behind the counter front desk and running after Dwem all the while attempting to get Dwem’s attention.

“Sir, Your Mark Nasackia right. I recognize your picture. You are kindly requested up to the Chief Editors Office at once. Chief Editor Sanzo Heritockie says he wanted to speak to you about something urgent. “

Considering the young woman who seemed very urgently attempting to steer him away from the direction he was heading as the offices of the lower editors. Looking at her Dwem smiled, as he was not amused a dumb ass was undermining his efforts to get something productive to increase his books advanced sales potential. Looking towards the elevator as he saw it open with his agent nearly jumping out of it panting for her breath.

Ms. Gotahomiesia rushed to Dwems side as a young arrogant man came walking out of the other elevator while talking to his fellow coworkers. Hearing the discussion realized it was the Mr. Terzia Hashatai who had written Nasakie that nasty little letter. Dwem was reaching inside his jacket to pull out his gun when the Miss Lentashian Herataw reached out and stopped Dwem as he pulled it out. As Dwem was guided to one side as, she pushed the gun back into its holster.

Dwem was directed back towards the elevator as Dwem glared at the man, as he seemed to be coming along with the group heading up to the meeting.

Mr. Terzia Hashatai nearly fell over his own feet as he staggered along his path of progress. Nasakie seemed to consider this amusing as she saw the effort to keep Dwem from pulling out his gun on this pathetic soul and fill him with lead. Miss Lentashian Herataw and Ms. Gotahomiesia seemed to have things well in hand as did the escort of security who joined them in the elevator. The private elevator was a bit larger as it was intended to be an express elevator to the Chief Editor’s Sanzo Heritockie’s office.

Dwem seemed to look back and consider his friends again who seem to have cheered up. Nasakie smiled at Dwem as they were quite dramatically in a way completely more positive fashion than that Dwem had hoped for to resolve this completely bad conflict. Nasakie was given writers set of gear to carry now as one of the aids had gone back to Dwems home to retrieve the satchel had brought it along while they were driver towards the Raither Publishing House Corporate Headquarters and main PR anchor for all of their writers and various other projects.

Making their way to the elevator the man actually decided to take a cheap shove at Dwems friend Nasakie. As the elevator door shut was the worse time for the prick to start something, as no one was able to do anything about Dwem getting at the little ass kissing weasel what so ever. Dwem performed a row of Martial Arts strike as he made contact with every one of them. Considering no one had ever seen Dwem ever fight, as it seemed he always worked his way around from getting into a full blown contact fight.

Dwem finished it as quickly as he picked it up from the prick starting it with his friends. The man lay helplessly on the elevator floor bleeding, extremely battered, and simply bruised head to toe. Dwem was finally convinced to back off by a no less stunned Nasakie as she reached Dwem as she pulled him back from the threat range of including the conflict. Dwem friends seemed to get Dwem out of the elevator.

Making their way towards the Conference room where Chief Editor Sanzo Heritockie Assistant Chief Editor Mr. Goshiato were awaiting Dwem and associates. As they were moved along somewhat forcefully by their security escort. The young man Mr. Terzia Hashatai was tended to by just now arriving Paramedics.

Dwem main supportive Editor and Guardian Agent Ms. Gotahomiesia was the most forceful of the escort pulling Dwem along as they took him to a bathroom to get cleaned up a bit. Taking a look at him soon realized that the dark suite absorbed the blood nicely as it was entirely impossible to see in the current light.

As soon as Dwem was cleaned up and his current target of his rage taken care of as well. The meeting was convened with everyone taking his or her assigned seats. It was suddenly realized that Mr. Terzia Hashatai was to be assigned next to Dwem and would have been sitting there as that if he did not choose to act like a complete fool along the way up.

Dwem simply smiled as his Nasakie and Megumi took their new seat all so recently vacated. As soon as they could, they got right to work, as it was a rush to get things completely and a few final touches for the set up of the conference. Looking around Dwem was finally able to settle down and relax a bit as he saw the powers that be arrive and take their seats as well.

Soon enough they started as a few aids passed out a letter as Dwem was reading it to himself. Dwem was considering the wording of the whole thing as he looked up and placed it down on the table as Dwem got up from the table then he began to walk out. Dwem heard a bunch of commotion behind him as he made his way down the hall but he did not care anything about that right then and there.

After reaching the elevator, Dwem had completely read the whole mission briefing and the breakdown from the publicist. Looking up at the elevator as Dwem reached out and pressed the button. Just as he was about all ready to jump in when the elevator opened. Dwem knew his friends had followed him out when he left. Looking back at them as Nasakie and Megumi each with a plate of cookies in their grasp almost made Dwem crack up laughing.

Considering the sight Dwem heard the elevator coming up and simply waited for the door to open. As the elevator opened Frethen and Delaisia, the two junior publicists for Raither Publishing House looked up and seemed a bit surprised to see Dwem leaving so soon. Miss Lentashian Heratawa the major Raithen House’s Planner and troubleshooter came rushing up and nearly tackled Dwem as his friend consider the assault for just a moment for putting their cookies down and went to town on her. Getting up as she held out her hands pleaded for Dwem to come back to the conference room.

Looking at her Dwem was clearly now amused by it all as he held up the pamphlet and the Publishing Houses revision of the contract he signed. Taking a deep breath his friends looked at their cookies and picked it up. As they made their way, back to the conference room Dwem was going from the start as he was highlighting all the major issues he had with the new adjustments. As he sat down it took Dwem four readings and the verbal reading of it to complete a full high lighting and complete his review notes.

Dwem grumbled, as he was entirely all so unhappy with the completely new inventive deal of fucking him over as tossing the tablet of paper onto the table and the copy of the whole mess of contract revisions. Dwem turned down almost all of it as total BS. Looking over at the board of advisors Dwem gave them the middle finger as which they figured by the look on their face, as anything but something they should consider good. Looking at them Dwem was not pleased with the revisions as they went over the notes of the Editors reviews as well as there more personal review with Dwem on a few minor adjustments.

When there was no results posted from the test Beta group or the small think tank of fans and review writers, he was placing most of his hope on. Dwem tapped on the table and cleared his throat.

“What about the reports from the readers and such. Where are they and why am I not getting the data like I need as of like yesterday. “

They informed Dwem it would be waste and that they knew better than any of them what to do and how to do it. Dwem glared at them as he softly retained his anger and tapped his fingers on the table surface. Dwem glared them over kind of like a death ray as he turned his attention then looked over at Ms. Gotahomiesia as she started to read. Ms. Gotahomiesia read over the troubles Dwem had over the contract then she had a say about it, which was a bit more additional concerns as of that Dwem did not pick up on because of the misleading legal language that they used.

After she was complete the ones Dwem understood as being complicities hard asses started balking at every other complaint and challenge then every single one as Dwem stood up and made his way towards the door. Ms. Gotahomiesia stood up and bowed slightly as she informed them if they wished to take up contract negotiation again at another time when they were a little more serious. Especially when they already had a signed agreed contract with Dwem with options for his future book concepts. There attempt was not legal and Mark Nasackia was walking away from the table and pursuing other avenues of getting his work published if this was the way they handled prior legal agreements when they had second guesses.

Just as Dwem reached the door Raithen House’s Chief Editor Sanzo Heritockie looked up and called out Dwems real name to get his attention as though more likely to get the other board of advisors attention even more so.

“ Johnythn MacFarlane Herikawaz I know your father would not approve of this treatment but you refuse to bring up his name. Even if it would give you a bit of some leverage from getting rolled over. Sit and let us talk a bit more. “

Dwem looked back at the older man and gave him a considerately unsure expression on his face. Cocking his head, sideways Dwem considered the board of Advisors next as he was not the least amused with their cheap asses nor their attempt to screw him over.

Taking his seat as did Ms. Gotahomiesia as all the while Nasakie and Megumi seemed to have completely emptied there plate of cookies and were asking for some more. Looking around as a Junior Editor who was sitting nearby passed them another plate. It was keeping them quiet while they were running into problems enough with Dwem. As it seemed they had been starting a blog a thon of public relations efforts for Dwem while he was still working on his first Novel.

They went over line by line of the Original contract them included there increased concerns of regaining their Original investment as well as a guaranteed profit. Dwem was not getting any closer of being in a cheerful and acceptable mood. Though the mention of his real surname had indeed shaken there resolve in forcing most of the contract changes. Going over it, Dwem insisted on some things for him as well as did his agent Ms. Gotahomiesia. That was when his friends shocked Dwem, as they seemed to suddenly to come to life as Nasakie and Megumi made a few point in the back of the last page and a few additional clauses on the back of some of the pages as well. Disclaimers and guarantees of some sort. Dwem flipped over the packet as he saw them and double-checked the revised contract, as there was lighter printed paragraphs designed to easily be overlooked and un noticeable by a quick glance.

After a bit, the Contract was agreed upon and a slight compensation for Dwem was made towards the effort to ease the tension of the rebuilding and drastic changes to the contract. As Dwem assured them of any loss if his book bombed out but if it reached the top ten best sellers list within the second or third week. Dwem would get a bonus as well as there apology for this bullshit.

As soon as this was complete, they were back onto the book. The board of advisors left as it was mostly the editors and there Assistants who remained. Raithen Publishing Houses Co CEO and Chief Editor Sanzo Heritockie tossed out a review of the surveys and the E-mails from the test groups themselves. A Secretary came in and placed a copy in front of each of the Editors and each of Dwems group. Reading over them all one by one, Dwem had a computer copy of his book as they considered several of the suggestion in the files. As it seemed to take, forever but they were making progress at least.

Dwem was on the tent page of over five hundred pages of review and notes from the test review groups and such. Dwem considering everything until he completely read it through understanding what they were intending to suggest. Writing a note or crossing it out all together. After a bit they decided to break for lunch and the rest of the mess was cleared up as the Senior Partners reviewed the contract and over ruled much of the concessions the Advisors had told Dwem he had to give to in order for them to assure the contact and approve with it.
