History / About Me: Darrius Hawkins was a boy abandoned. He was put into an orphanage in the Lower Commons. Darrius could not remember anything before being in the orphanage, for as long as he could remember it was his home. The orphanage was run by a negligent manager and because of that, like the rest of the Lower Commons, the orphanage was in chaos. Darrius often found himself in fights with uneven odds. But despite that he was able to fend off the boys that attacked him, sometimes forcing them to be hospitalized. As a result Darrius was kicked out of the orphanage. He ended up in a gang on the streets getting in different kinds of trouble. Eventually he was caught by the police, but the officer who caught gave him a unique chance. Darrius would go through the police academy training program, excluding the firearms training as he was still young, several times. Here Darrius learned discipline and hard work, and it was also here that he discovered his extreme athletic ability. Encouraged by the officers that had become like his family and going into his Sophomore year of high school he finally decided to do something with his ability, he was done with being with the wrong crowds, and he was ready to start his life. Darrius decided to join Track and Field at SHS, it was perfect to test how far he could really bring himself. He would do this before deciding if he would pursue any other sport.
