Things just weren't going right for her recently. She felt so rusty with her skills despite having been training them so consistently. Of course, she found herself at Gunner's Delight Range, just like she usually did. Though, she'd just been training for about twenty minutes, trying to continually hit the moving target as best as she could.
It was hard, and it was tiring. Her skill with hitting these targets while they were going at such a high velocity was very low at the moment. Every, single, time, the retarded, taunting paper silhouette would just fly by, and the bullet would barely even graze it. Opening her revolver's cylinder, she curses under her breath as she pops a few more rounds into the chamber.
"Wow. Have you hit something yet?"
Mei whips her head around, promptly staring at whoever was behind her. It was a guy; he was wearing some sort of hat, which was the notable thing about him. He was averagely built, and had heavy bags under his eyes. Probably one of the least attractive specimens in society.
"What did you just say to me?" Mei asks, attempting to confirm his nigh taunt.
"You heard me, didn't you?" He says whilst picking in his ear with his pinky. He flicks onto the ground what seems to be a spec of earwax. Wrapping his tongue in a layer of the gum he was chewing, he flooded it with some air, forming a pink, spherical bubble.

It was so thin Mei could see her reflection in it.
"And why exactly should I take into consideration a statement made by a pillock like you?" Her voice begins to lack zest, becoming fairly listless as she looks towards him with an elongated gaze. Mentally, she is disgusted by what is presented before her. She should have shot him for interrupting her training for this, but the law wouldn't be fond of that.
"Eh. I could show you why if you let me take a shot at the target you keep missing." Without waiting for a response, he makes his way into her booth. "My name's Alpha. You know? Like the movie Alpha Male?"
Mei looks at him, quirking a brow and giving a questioning look.
"You haven't seen that movie?"
Rather than shaking her head, she just intensifies the amused, confused hybrid of a question she'd had on at the moment.
"What? Oh, you are lame!"
"Anyways. Please enlighten me on your amazing abilities, 'Alpha'." Mei taunts, keeping her gun by her side as she observed him closely. He seems to nod and withdrew his gun. It didn't look like a very expensive model, just some sort of handgun. He loads the magazine and puts it into the bottom of the gun. Then, he easily prepares it for firing; taking aim, he gently squeezes the trigger.
...Three times.
The target whooshes by as he shoots the gun. The three shots he took had been taken in rapid succession.

Her eyes widen as she observes how well he handled the recoil, and how he even managed to get off that many shots. Though, Mei simply recognizes this as a miss. Or so she thought.
"Your hastiness will be your downfall." She snobbishly addresses as she waits for the target to slowly come back. He doesn't say anything in rebuttal to her. Though, when the target does come back, she notices something very important. There were three bullet holes very close to the bullseye location of the black silhouette!
Her jaw dropped, she has to shake her head and come to a realization and conclusion to stabilize herself. "You see, that was just luck."
"Luck? Well, I bet you twenty bucks that you won't be able to hit the target twice let alone once when it goes by." He says. At least it seemed like she'd gotten under his skin finally. Perhaps it was the manner that she didn't praise him for it that'd aroused his frustration about the subject.
"We'll see about that." Mei says, pushing him out of the way. She was a little fatigued already from all of the training she'd been doing; such was a result from how strenuous this type of training could be. Especially when she herself wasn't as accustomed with the recoil of a gun as powerful as a revolver. It seemed that she picked a gun that she felt wasn't too beneficial for her.
Opening the cylinder again, she continues to load bullets into the chamber.

When she closes it back up, the object releases a small 'clicking' noise to signify that it was secure. With a light sigh, she waits for the target to return to its original position. Without a doubt, she would have to use a certain ability here in order to hit all of the shots she needed. It would be great if she could get at least three rounds to hit their mark. The last time she used this ability, the pinnacle of her ability was one bullet.
Not to mention, she was finally going to put her eyes to the test. Good thing he couldn't see them; they were concealed behind a dark pair of sunglasses.
The target begins to become mobile. Focusing her eyes, she makes sure that he augmented visual perception would enable her to see the target better as it moved by. The first shot is taken. Bracing herself, she squeezes the trigger gently to fire off the round towards its destination, a little bit before the target came into the firearm's trajectory. Then, things seemed to move, to her, like they were going at half of the normal flow of time. This made it a lot easier for her to aim the next shots. One, two. It was so simple.
To her fortune, all had hit. The first bullet had just barely hit near the silhouette, however. She could have done better on that one.
"Beginner's luck." He concludes. "Let's try round two."
