Lightning Blast - Lightning is a form of energy. By drawing all of your spiritual energy, you carve it into a highly compressed blast of lightning. For most, this would be considered a highly suicidal technique, as it draws out a large amount of energy. Once again, it uses the base foundations of EOTL to expand and purify energy, but instead of refining it for storage and articulate use, it blasts it in one large, unrefined wave around the user. If it doesn't kill you, this technique is able to disrupt your ability to channel for a limited amount of time.
Effect: radius = 10 feet per level, dmg = sta used/2, counter affect +stun to user lasts for 1 post per dmg lvl

So, because I am going over the +4, which is requiring 10 syllables of chanting, I am taking an extra post before actually performing the technique. I figure, +6 levels should leave me with no stamina, and about 60 health left. The blast will have a 60 foot radius at +150 damage.

Actually, Ash, it would be the exact opposite. If I'm TBW, I don't want people knowing that I use the Geisha House as a front, b/c the GH is a lucrative business and I don't want someone interfering with my money. Same with the Casino. Either way, I went off of what would be known for territory. With a group as powerful as that, why would they be afraid of hiding their front end? We all know that the mafia controls much of Atlantic City, as well as las vegas, and there isnt a thing anyone can do about it. Site wise, everyone knows that the academy is the front end for my own syndicate. In the halloween party, they said they knew about it. I guess it just made sense to me, that in a local area with crime running rampart, it would be easy to figure out where they were.

According to this, the building should fall onto him. Though in the past realm, most house types have Strong defense attributes while Manors and Keeps have Ascended strength, which, I suppose, would keep the building up. Probably. If the attack hit at 125% (+6) like he claims, then at its weakest (for a future realm building that supposedly self repairs) we could say it has +3 defense, so it would hit for +3 damage which would be 75%. This brings up the question on how long it takes structures to self repair, because a post has now passed... but also, I doubt human's and structures have the same HP limit of 100%. Continuing on that, reinforced walls in the corporate market have a density of +20, so it may be easier to think of normal walls as having a density of +5 or +10 for simplicity's sake and 'repair' at a 1 density per post.

That was part of my question.. since its a radius, it would go up as well, so would it have cleared out the ceiling? Also, if that were the case, what's the point of labeling a technique that can knock down walls as doing so, if it actually can't..

The labels should just be removed because if that's the case then destructive level attacks should easily rip a person apart since often times flesh is weaker than reinforced wall.

we'll say that the club was heavily damaged w/in his radius since he was in a corner and that corner would have much of the damage and not whatever's outside that range
so a portion of the club is heavily dmg'd, not the whole thing

To me, the issue isn't blasting a hole in the wall, the site states that you can do such a thing. A wall is different form a structure and both are supported differently. The actual structure should be stronger as it is supported by multiple walls.

Not based on where I am at compared to the picture. A ceiling probably wouldn't be as structured as a wall, since it doesn't have to hold up much weight, and is practical for guarding against the elements.

I wouldnt walk out the front door unless there was a really, really good offer for amnesty.. and I think I'm correct in assuming that isnt going to happen.

If I got in a fight with the man of the syndicate, who obviously isn't a human, would the division step in? What about a fight between two spirits in the city? Are they only interested in protecting their own, or will they get into spirit politics.

if this is a syndicate building, then the division probably wouldn't be able to access the inside as easy as the outside. I was hoping that it would go straight to the BWS so that I could make my point. Either way, you never know until you try... and sometimes I think I'm the only one that tries lol

If it's known to be a syndicate building, then I see how it would make sense for them to attempt to take a legal way out of disputes rather than cause trouble for themselves. The Geisha House in itself is a legitimate operation that I would assume simply funnels money into it's mother syndicate. How it makes that money and it's existence is probably legit, as indicated by their calling the police instead of henchmen and why the guards didn't have guns. Killing people is a messy way to handle a dispute when you can have the city do it for you. It also looks like the people who worked there were normal, save for the male with the dragon tattoo perhaps, meaning that whoever runs the business and handles the money would be the ones tied up in the syndicate. This could be a day job for the workers there much like working at a slightly seedy Moonbucks. This seems very familiar to what Jyn warned you about; it will be fun playing this out... -some-body just needs to post.

Amen to that one. I have an option here for what actually went through to the division. Since i don't really know, its a gamble for walking out the front door. The other thing I could pull is that I didnt know that it would kill them, since I'm not allowed to kill humans. Technical flaw on the governments part maybe? The easiest way for you to get out of this would be if you had gotten one of those 'miracles' that were passed out in the Dark Tourney. It might be able to make all of this disappear... though I do have an alternative if you wish to be indebted to one of my characters.
