| Rat tat tat tat, rat tat tat tat.
The beat growing ever louder. No more waiting now. No more waiting for him. His powers were growing, and growing quickly. All that was required now was the pieces to fit in with each other. Did he know when it would happen? No. But Mittens would. Yes, Mittens would know when everything was right. The druming growing ever louder, even now Mittens rubbing against his leg as he stood in the rain. Hat pointed downwards, eyes hidden under the shade of it. Eyes glowing in their unique yellow colour. Thoughts of the last few days and the people he had met.
Mr Scaley. The now very decomposing lizard head who had accompanied him for awhile but was now really begining to stick. And Shiori. The bitch with the torque ass and nice tits. Mittens let out a meow as the thoughts about her reached their peak. " Yes Mittens....it was raining just like it was now....". He held out a hand, letting the rain drops find their way into the cup of his palm. " Nothing better for the soul than a bit of rain wouldn't you agree Mittens?". Another meow from the cat. Mittens was odd in this fashion. Perhaps mimicing him. She had for whatever reason, a liking for the rain.
This was distinctly unlike other cats. Who avoided water whenever possible. Once again Pennywise looked up to the heavens as his fingers stopped their rapping on a nearby wall. The sound had stopped again. Mittens meowed. Ah. Time had come once again had it? Well there was no real arguement here. All this meant was that Penny would be revealing his inner powers. He was rather excited to see his true form emerge. Mittens curcled around his leg. Purring once again as she sat down next to his shoe. He reached down and stroked her slightly. A black line running down from his nose and dripping onto Mittens head.
The cat let out a meow, closing her eyes. Then reopening them. Revealing the same eyes as Pennywise. The man removed his top hat. Ran a hand through his hair. And then...it happened. Both Mittens and he were surrounded by a cloud of darkness. Within that darkness, there were animalistic noises. The sounds of bones cracking, of flesh tearing. The darkness then moved inwards, revealing nothing but a black shape made of a thick oil like subtance. The shape was rather large, around ten feet tall. The oil like substance began to fall off. Dripping to the ground like the rain and disappearing into the concrete.
A deep growling, when the last of the substance was removed. The beast form of Pennywise revealed. A large Feline shape, boney and disjointed. There was no fur, more like leathery skin. Said skin marked with strange tattoos. A whipping tail. Head looking upwards. Two things however...made it obvious this was Pennywise. The grin on the face of the creature. And those yellow eyes. It took a step forward, getting used to moving on four legs. The change in size was not as...amazing. As that of certain Oni. In fact in comparison to some who reached the size of buildings. This beast transformation was relatively small. That was not to say however, that in comparison to human shapes. This form was not large. Or terrifying. In fact, that grin alone was enough to send the shits up most mortals.
So, Mittens the cats true purpose. A sealed form of Pennywise's true Oni powers. None the less, part of him or not. Love for the cat would remain unchanged. Perhaps. Even the mad one knew all along just what Mittens was.
Deciding that stretching his legs so to speak in this form was enough. He drew back. Which was a much more difficult process than changing into it in the first place. The tattoos on the body began to spill out that black liquid again, and this time the body warped and contorted back into its original shape. The black liquid falling off. Pennywise was left brushing some of the stuff off his top hat. Still grinning away as he heard the familiar sound of Mittens meowing by his leg. Petting her on the head and then sending her on her way to chase some mice.
He removed his packet of cigarettes from his jackets inner pocket. Then taking one out and placing it in his mouth. Lighting it up and blowing out some smoke. The tapping on his leg had began once again... and off into the rain he walked.
