| First topic message reminder :The Dark Tourney - Pre Battle Karnival Time: Variable Location: Variable
Realm: Present
2 months pass since the Blast to the Past events. The resilient city rebounds from attack on the Lower Commons. After the attack, the Demon Samurai Army is nowhere to be found in the city. Nothing abnormal happened after that. Division 12 monitors the destroyed area that they dropped a laser on, but do not know where chunks of the city went. The Division use what they learn from the attack to create future counter measures. There were people in the Lower Commons who saw what happened. They saw the physically manifested demon army and the battle with Division 12, but the media labels them as lunatics. The media explains that the terrorists caused a very large gas leak. They explained that the fumes from this leak caused hallucinations and extreme paranoia with lingering effects. The gas leak also explained the large explosion that ended the fighting. Division 12 was hailed as heroes again and cleaned up the mess with the help of the local police forces. The Major gives an announcement to the city and the ‘terrorists:’
“In partnership with Psi Corp, we will run a campaign to clean up the Lower Commons! It will no longer be a den for terrorism. We’ll smoke them out from their holes and hiding places. Terrorists, there is no where you can hide. We will make the entire city a safe place for our citizens! I have a dream… I have a dream that my four little children, one day will grow up in a city free of drugs… free of poverty… free of those who do wrong… we will fix this city and shine a brilliant light over the darkness… we shall overcome and we shall create a city of peace and prosperity!”
-
It is a normal day. Life continues like normal in the city. The sky is blue with light and fluffy scattered cloud cover. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. People dress in summer wear. Construction crews contracted by Psi Corp are almost done rebuilding the area in the Lower Commons damaged by the demon invasion. Beep beeps can be heard from large construction vehicles. In parks in East City and Gothstone, kids fly kites with their parents, bird chip, etc. In the Lower Commons there’s no barking from the dogs, no smog, and momma cooked a breakfast today with no hog. Today was a good day (Ice Cube). Ballers are out flossing in their whips and honeys were on the block showing off. The donuts were just right today at the police department and there were no misunderstandings with drug deals on the streets.
-
Realm: Past
The villages recover after the attack of the Demon Army. The leaders of Saichuushigai reach out to Hejar. The chieftain of Hejar sells Sai Village information on the whereabouts of the demon army. The villages come together and form an alliance against this army, but they still don’t know anything about it. Large walls are reinforced around the major villages. The militias are strengthened. The leaders of each village send scouts to get more information on their new enemy. The temples are busy with people praying to ward off evil and hard times. There is a reinvigoration in the church.
-
Realm: ???
Something happens in an area that looks like the forest. A barrier forms a misty black dome over about three blocks of room in the forest. The barrier raises high over the tree tops at around the same height as a small skyscraper. Inside the dome, metal forms and twists into large structures, Yokai (being controlled by someone or something) transform into twisted versions of Teddy Bears, Bunny Rabbits, and other things you might see at a place like Disney, and a carnival grow out of nothing. It boasts large rides, balloons, games, concessions, booths and tents. There are large red flags and a welcome banner at the gates with a twisted clown face.
-
Realm: Past and Present
Very weird looking signs start to pop up at random places around the city and villages in both the future realm and the past realm. They look like twisted stop signs, but are bright colors with the words looking like they were painted on with a paint brush. The main word says “KARNVIAL.” They have a poster taped to them with a message:
“FuN fUn Fun! Kum one kum awl to the KARNIVAL! Games, prizes and a live event! Fighters WELKOMED. Think yEr strong? Enter the Unholy Fighter Championship! Singles and team kompetitions available. Bring yerself or bring yer family! Fun for all!”
In really tiny letters it had the caption: “all your souls are belongs to us.”
The signs are enchanted to attract people with strong senses, will, abilities and/or magic to it. Normal people aren’t able to see these signs, only people who can see spirits. Every poster has a place that says ‘touch here to go!’ that portals people to the gates of the carnival.
Rules: no set post order wait at least 2 ppl (or 4 characters) before between posts if you interact with starred npcs, wait on that npc to respond before reposting (npcs coorindator’s: label storyline important npcs with a star by their name like *Glucose) Do not start off with “I touch a sign”…. -.-‘ xP BTW - this is just the carnival portion, not the tourney that will take place in onitoshi |

| Pulling the mask back into place Adrian frowned, glancing over his shoulder. He saw her but he didn't want her to know he was here. But somehow she always ended up finding him. And he had better things to do than spend the day fighting with someone because she didn't like the way he dressed. Or any other thing she might be harping on this time. He looked back to Seiki and bowed lightly before he walked away, not saying another word. His possible good news had even been ruined because of that damned woman. But there were things that he had to deal with before they confronted one another. It didn't matter. The Soul Eater had been right. He was alone, no matter how much he tried to keep fooling himself. But he could at least keep the facade up for a little while longer.
He might not have any friends, or any allies but that wasn't going to sway him from the task at hand. He had to get stronger first. Perhaps after he was strong enough he could return to modern times, and allow himself the few meager moments of happiness he desired. But the world was changing. And if he wanted to end this war soon he was going to have to move quickly.
"They turn against the world they know. Now our Destiny will be decided. We have to send, our brothers in arms. With pain in our hearts we watched them go. Will they return? Truth is we had no choice. We'll try to shield those we can, no better world will let this end. Mothers cry, our boys die. But we'll stand 'til the end." he said, walking through the crowd.

A nod would follow her statement about the stranger. I thought he was rather strange, but he wasn't the one to send us here. Then why were we here? I would realease a low sigh again and then moved to the gate, getting it for Lady Kazakura and would walk with her like her bodyguard. My eyes narrowed at anything that got too close and my hands twitched just in case I would need to draw one or more of my blades. I would notice that it didn't seem all that dangerous, but then Lady Kazakura spoke up and mentioned that they may not be on Earth. I would blink and look around before she suggest that we find a way to get back- Master Domen'yun might get angry if I wasn't there to do what he wanted. I would move at a pace to get ahead of Lady Kazakura as she headed for a tower. I would tilt my head at the place and stop before the door. I would listen to what Kazakura said- game show. My eyebrow lifted as I wondered what she meant by game show. I knew what a 'game' could be, but what was a show? I would shrug and place one hand on the door and nodded my head as I sucked in some air so that I had some when I went, since I thought that I would be holding my breath. I would push the door or open it (or even knock if I had to do that), ready to react if there was a need to.

It catches me a bit off guard when Ashram says that this place wasn’t the past realm; still he seemed to have an answer for it. He explains that it was a realm between both worlds existing and not existing at the same time. I didn’t know if that was true or how he knew that, but I assumed it was a good a theory as anything else. All indications to me showed that he had been in this realm longer than I had; though I didn’t know by how long. I carry a boastful smile as he expresses what seemed to be mild surprise that I had made it back okay. When he asks what I had been doing with my time, the answer was ‘not training’ though I would not say that. I had normally stuff I had to take care of and everyday life just kind of happened to get in the way. I rub the back of my head and look to the side sheepishly as I think about how to answer that question. Looking back to him, I notice that his attention shifted from me to our surroundings. It reminded me, “oh yeah, I lost Akera again…” The comment was out loud, but more so to myself.
Even as we spoke, new arrivals were falling into place in the area in front of the carnival grounds around us. It was interesting to see how many people were duped by those freaky little teleporting signs. On further survey I happen to see REI and KAZAKURA as well. I recognized both from the past realm; it seemed like familiar figures were abounding. I suppose it just wouldn’t be right without my girl friend popping up out of nowhere. The whistle is an attention getter in their general area where people portaled in much like Ragnarok Online. Still, from the looks of things, she seemed unfazed by the displacement, casually eating her ice cream in a string bikini. It was around this time when I attempted to tell myself that I was probably in some sort of weird dream. I figured something might have happened when Akera and I left Moonbucks. I could have gotten hit on the head by a falling object or something that would have me unconscious or in a coma now; everything around me was just too weird for words.
My attention turns back to my sensei and he is gone. I look back the other way and REI and KAZAKURA both seemed to have moved into the carnival. “Mou…” I complain girlishly finding myself alone once more. I walk over towards where Natsuki was, still semi delusional in thinking this as a dream as I don’t really say anything, just kind of look towards her.
462 / 1979 Action: Just kind of looking at Natsuki. |

| SeVen is dressed in a pretty black dress with white lacing. She looks around and sees a big carnival and smiles because the bright lights make her happy since she has not been to a carnival before. She skips through the people who were around and looking at the carnival and looks around at the rides and other things. "What should I do first?" she wonders to herself as she skips around. She puts her finger to the side of her lips and says "hmmm" and looks around. She sees some people talking to an old man, but he looked stinky and boring. She starts floating in the air so he did not have to walk anymore. She sees a shop and thinks that maybe she can get a cute toy from there so she goes there and moves a guy with swords out of the way so that she could go in first saying "move" and then goes in. | |

| A single gargoyle, one of the many bustling about and adjusting the demonic looking pews and rushing about with brooms, approached the couple who came into the shop [Rei and Kazakura] He wasn't very tall, perhaps about five feet in height with shiny, black skin and a bald head. His ears were finned and perforated, and his eyes gleamed reddish yellow in the dim torchlight. Behind him, the heavy secondary doors of the cathedral crashed open, and he hovered in the air on his insect-like wings. He grinned, revealing perfectly white, though crooked and jagged teeth, and embedded in his human-like chest was a name tag that said *Kurogs Stix, usher. "Welcome to Darci's Shop of Horrors. We've been expecting you. Would you like a seat?" A bored, fairy-sized goblin begins to poke Seiki in the head with a stick.
|
The old man grinned feebly, seeming glad to see this strapping youth, Mukesh, come along. The old timer's eyes didn't seem to be open, simply hidden beneath his bushy eyebrows. "Oh, thank you. Thank you so much for offering young man. You see..." he coughed. "I live here in this carnival, and I have to move my vast treasure out of the way so these people won't steal it when they see it. Oh, would you please... put your hand on this pile of loot, like so, and help me get it out of the way? I'll be forever in your debt!" A raven sat on an out-jutting stone, cawing, "Baka! Baka!"
|
"You talk too much," the man growled in his usual tone, seizing another creature that looked something like a chicken from a cage by the side of his cart. Indeed, there seemed to be many cages that held many different animals lined up for execution. "You can see where those other bastard merchants went. They're supposed to pitch in, but it's a donation-based thing so they might be trying to duck this year. They'll have carts like mine. Tell them if they don't get their asses over here I'll wring their scrawny necks." Down came the cleaver. "If your friend knows anything about spirits he'll probably show up. Ha ha ha. Ah, but you shouldn't worry so much. I can't think of anything that will bother you here unless you enter the magic tournament... or talk to... *the Elders. You should watch out for them, they're... strange. If it makes you feel better..." Down came the cleaver again, a final squawk ringing through the air. "You can take one of my knives. Got a couple on the other side of the cart in a black box."

| Adrian made his way through the crowd, hoping he would disappear among them, his hands disappearing into his sleeves as he moved. His eyes narrowed when he saw SeVen butting in front of someone. Getting into trouble, possibly. But he didn't know if she would need help or not. He'd seen her fight. She could handle herself to a degree. But even someone as powerful as her might need help. He stepped back into the crowd, trying to blend in while he watched the scene in front of him unfold. Occasionally he would glance around, trying to spot Isuku. It was painful, not having Goranova or the Devil's Teardrop at his hip. It was like feeling naked, if akin to anything. But he knew better. It was more like missing your hand. You could almost feel it there but you knew it wasn't.
This place was strange, and things were starting to get to him. His eyes narrowed as he stood there. The world around him was always strange but, while demons weren't anything new, they were still strange. Customs so much like humanity's own, but at the same time they were twisted versions of one another. Demons might consider eating a baby perfectly normal where as humans wouldn't. But humans did a number of things that demons considered dastardly. Good and Evil were perceptions. But there were things that were commonly good and evil. Anyone that knew what Adrian was up to, would probably look at him as an evil bastard. But it was all for the good of humanity.

| The Dark Tournament - Carnival Turning my gaze away from her I listen as she begins to speak as I again begin to glance around at the carnival attractions. " Ah. Well, so far it doesn't seem to be a bad thing. " I say before pausing for a moment, " Nothing has jumped out and started attacking us. " I add before falling silent. When she spoke again I glanced down at her as she moved up next to me. " Oh? " I ask as I lift my gaze from her, while lifting my gaze from her it comes to rest on someone I recoginize almost instalty, Seiki the human I had encountered before while in the past. " Seiki.. " I murmur lightly as I look at the boy, my mind quickly shifting away from him and to the others I had encounterd while in the past, if he is here, does that mean the one named Natsuki is here as well. Frowning lightly I look away from Seiki, my gaze quickly falling upon Natsuki. As I look at Natsuki I recall the event that took place in the past when she attacked me. Looking away from Natsuki and Seiki I glance at Azhure and smile faintly as I look at her, " Now that we are here and since I don't know how to get back.. What would you like to do my dear Azhure? " I ask as I look down at her, wondering if their is anyone else here that I have encountered.

| Adrian turned, his eyes scanning the crowd as he moved. Constantly looking for Isuku he sighed. SeVen had vanished from his sight. Try as he might he couldn't spot her. She'd probably moved on anyway. Walking away he frowned, his eyes narrowing when he felt something tingling in the back of his mind. The Soul Eater was begging him to have some fun. But the Cursed Rune's thought of Fun was very much different from Adrian's own. He shook his head and walked on ahead of himself, looking at the various things around him to do. The carnival was impressive, to a degree. Adrian knew several things he'd love to do but to do them by himself would just seem strange. At least if he had Isuku here on his arm he could play the games and win her things, or play against her at several things. But it didn't matter. At least life was something more than it had been previously. His only regret was he didn't have the beautiful red head on his arm.
"I guess there's not much to do around here. Maybe I should check that fight tournament out. At least then I could get some interesting ideas for techniques, or maybe study new ones." he muttered to himself.
It would be interesting to see how others fought. And to observe without any form of fighting on his own end he could learn things much easier than if he were facing them in combat. But that only went so far. Ultimately to learn how to counter an opponent completely you had to face them. People watching the ordeal could judge because they didn't have to react to the situations that they were observing.

| I didn't quite gather why I was here or where exactly here is, but I continue to walk around and I stop at some of the booths to watch others in attendance. Some seem to be having an excellent time and others seem to be utterly confused. I notice that there seem to be people from all three realms that I have lived in... Onitoshi, Earth Realm, and Yochi Furi, the Past Realm. Seeing them all around one another and completely confused by each other's fashions, mannerisms, and style. This is quite intriguing for me. Looking down at my hand, there is silence. I walk up on a show of a fire dancer and stand back in the crowd and enjoy the show going on around me. The shows gets interesting when a "female partner" made of pure fire appears next to the dancer flipping out of the flames that are blown into the air by the fire dancer. He continues to do his performance but the look on his face leads me to believe that this is not part of the show. I scan the crowd to see if I can find someone softly chanting or slightly glowing under the Myndius trance to spot the little loki in the crowd.

| Another day of morons. And now.. My newbie is missing. I swear I need a smoke before I rip the next customer's face off and eat it in front of them. I sigh and step outside, standing in the back alley. My fingers itch for a black & mild cigar. Cigarettes are just so.. I don't know. Boring to me. I got hooked to cigars due to my grandmother smoking them around me all the time growing up. I reach up, rubbing my temples. I have a slight headache. Suddenly Jigoku hums and I freeze up. My eyes flick from side to side. Something ain't right. I look around the alley and yelp as I nearly run into a huge pointing finger. The hell? I turn my head to look at what its pointing at. I blink as i look at the sign. Jigoku is saying something, but its all muffled as my hand reaches out. Then blackness and I'm falling, only to land on someone. One more newbie. its all I need to make my mood more foul. I stand outside, smoking my second cigarette in a span of ten minutes. I honestly can't take idiots long, my hand always itching to put a gun to their forehead and tell them to figure it the fuck out before i decorate the target practice room with their brains, or whatever the fuck they got up there. I sigh, smoke spilling from my lips. Dutch is now trying to help one of the newbie's out of the bathroom cause I made him piss himself in fright. Not my fault. I finish my cigarette and flick the butt away from me, tilting my face up to blow out the last of the smoke. But then I blink and look right to my side at a sign that appeared out of no where. "The fuck?" I mutter and I feel my hand reaching out against my will. I touch it and feel myself sucked in and then grunt as I hit the ground. "Fuck!" I hiss out only to cry out as a body lands on top of me. I groan and blink open my eyes and my eyes widen. "Shiori?" Updated Shiori | |

| "Once there was a good and mighty King, who wed a very nasty Queen. The King was loved but, the Queen was feared. 'Til one day while strolling through his court, an arrow pierced the kind King's heart. He lost his life and, his lady love." he sang softly as his eyes scanned the crowd around him.
His brow furrowed as he walked among demons and humans among them. He was surprised there were as many humans as there were, or at least they appeared to be human. But there wasn't much that could truly be done because he wasn't going to do much anyway. Sighing he slipped around the side of a booth and sat down, his knees coming to his chest. His eyes closed as he breathed, focusing only on his breathing. He visualized the air around him pulsing with every breath he took. The world warped with every breath he took, and did so another way when he exhaled. He was focusing himself, though he probably looked more like he was cowering. His eyes stared at the ground in front of him as they opened to a half lidded state. He was channeling everything he was, everything he had into his focus.
"When you look long into the abyss. The abyss looks long into you." he said.
The world was indeed a cold place to human beings. It didn't take much for them to be forsaken even by their own kind. And it was no different here.

| "A gameshow..." the gargoyle began as he guided the pair to a blackened, yet very cushy pew. "Is a sort of... event that humans have in Yochi. We decided to emulate it here with our own Onitoshian flair, as you can see." With a wide, sweeping gesture, he indicated the flying buttresses, the vast stone floors, and the ceiling concealed in shadows, the silhouettes of bats and spiders settling down, as though they too were participating in the show that would be coming soon. "We pick random people out of the crowd, and we offer you a "challenge". If you accept and overcome it, you'll win a Great Prize! Perhaps this young man [Rei] would like to compete? It's something that will be sure to impress his lovely lady friend." He seemed only partially serious as he settled backwards onto the pew in front of them. "Is there anything else I can get you before I attend to other matters?
Up front, the set remained a frenzy of chaos as the red haired woman shouted orders to the various monstrosities. "Someone find that masked guy and ask him for that thousand pound tub of lard we ordered! Judain! Stop talking! What am I paying you for? Oh dear, we have guests already..." she paused her activity to wink and blow a kiss at the cute fellow next to Kazakura in the crowd.
As Seiki jumped, the fairy-sized gargoyle would grab his hair and pull upwards with all of his strength. As a result, the high schooler would find himself aloft for a few minutes due to the creature's unnatural strength, but the hair would break soon and send the youth back towards the earth.
|
All was silent as the old man waited for Mukesh's response. He grinned, his teeth golden. The raven who cawed on the crag took wing, heaving itself into the air and disappearing into the blackness of the surrounding, permanent night.
|
"You're welcome little girl," he snarled amiably as he hung the meat up on the rack. Even bad men sometimes needed someone friendly to talk to. Come to think of it, most people who came around him simply recoiled in horror. It was therauptic to find someone who was nice despite his rough exterior... like having a puppy. "Don't be scared to use it. Don't think you'll have to, though." Moments later, a tremendous goblin that looked like some sort of grey, winged version of the Hulk, landed with a resounding BOOM! "Need the lard..." came the rumble from his throat. "No problem, Bob. Should be over there behind the cages." "ThaaaaaaaNKS," the creature stomped to the huge tub of lard in question and leaned over, it's prodigious behind casting an oversized shadow over the cart. The masked butcher grabbed another yokai out of a cage and lifted his knife before a thought occurred to him. "Hey... Little Girl, you aren't afraid of heights, are you? Might be able to get a better view if you ride Bob over the carnival." He chuckled to himself, impressed at his own cleverness.

| | The Dark Tourney - Part 1: Pre Battle Karnival Location: Domenance > Carnival Entrance
Past Realm
Much akin to a scene from the lion king, I would be standing at the edge of my lands atop an out jutted cliff gazing out into the expansive seas before me with rays of light from the heavens shining brilliantly over my regal form. The soft ocean winds would be pushing against my platinum strands softly in their wake in a manner that would make Fabio green with envy. Turning my impressive form about, I gaze over my shoulder at the lands I now called my own, the Nation of Domenance that was in the process of budding and showing signs of grown. I pause for a moment as my gaze focuses in on something in particular. Speaking of signs, there seemed to be an unsolicited sign of oddity thrust into the earth of my domain. It didn’t seem like a sign I would have approved to be on my land and it was quite unsightly. Calling upon one of my minions from the soil, a golem consisted of shadows and earth rises from the ground and bows in my presence. With a motion to the sign, I give the order for the golem to remove it and to toss it into the sea.
Carnival Realm
A golem appears at the gates of the carnival looking very confused.
Past Realm
I frown firmly as I notice that the sign was still there, but my golem was gone and nowhere to be found. Once again I call upon one of my earthly minions to perform the task of removing this eyesore from my domain.
Carnival Realm
Another golem appears at the gates of the carnival, looking very confused. He looks to the other golem who is still confused himself.
Past Realm
My frown intensifies.
Carnival Realm
Another golem appears near the gates along with the other two. After that, a lumber jack… and then a carpenter… and then a miner. They all stand there looking very confused.
Suddenly, dark orbs start to come out of nowhere, blasting in all directions from the entry point of the carnival realm. The golems and workers scatter in all directions as mid ranged EXPLOSIONS start to blast off AROUND THE ENTRANCE OF THE CARNIVAL. There are several bolts of energy that ravage the grounds in front of the carnival before one large bolt of destructive energy explodes rising up dust and ground chips in all directions with a crater beneath the dust cloud. Suddenly my body can be seen as the dust clears, with a sword in my hand, looking around, not sure what just happened. I frown once more and sheath my sword. “Hmmm…” I murmur looking around as I think, 'this displeases me.'

| Hearing the crashes of energy Adrian rose and turned. Anger flooded him as he charged forward, his body shooting toward the gates as swiftly as his legs would carry him. His eyes widened as he came to a stop at the entrance of the Carnival, his body appearing in a blur, an effect that commonly came from the burst of speed his body was used to performing over short distances. His eyes widened when he saw Domen'Yun standing there. It was times like this he cursed not having a weapon. But that didn't stop him. He let his fingers curl into their normal positions as the Devil's Teardrop formed. His fingers gripped the black bladed weapon as he stood there.
"And just what do you think you're doing here, demon? You would disturb the good time being had here? Or is it that you just can't stand for people to enjoy themselves?" he asked, pushing a demon out of his way.
He moved forward putting only a distance of ten or so feet between himself and the demon. He wasn't sure if they would be allowed to have it out then and there, or not but he wasn't about to stop until one of them was unable to fight. Adrian's left hand disappeared into his robes, pulling out a rolled up scroll. Clutching the scroll in his hand he stood there watching the demonic war lord. Adrian knew more about the other demons around him, ogres, imps, and other such creatures. They could be quantified, calculated. But this man had never ceased to surprise Adrian.

| As I am watching the fire dance, I think about what I want to do next. Off to the side, I glance at a booth with these interesting looking cakes. There are some questionable aspects of this cake but I am curious to watch someone else try it first before I dare tempt the Fates to assault my stomach. As I begin to make my way over towards the cakes, my attention is stolen by the sound of explosion back by one of the entrances. Ooooh, maybe a new show is about to start. That would make this a bit more eventful. I make my way over towards the explosions quickly since I don't wanna miss the start of the show. Realizing that walking is too damn slow, I leap into the air and just fly over towards the explosions and continue walking from a much closer distance. What I find is not a show at all... I stop for a moment... the white haired one. It has been several months since I last saw him floating over the ocean. I wonder what he is doing here and if he knows the cause of the explosion.

| | I picked out a nice sized, well balanced sharpened knife, that amounted to the same thing as a chef’s knife. It had a long blade similar to a butcher knife but was curved instead of square. The handle was black as well as the blade and I smiled again. Until I saw the massive grey hulk land almost in front of me. My smiled turned a bit nervous as I watched him, but he seemed to be coming for a tub of lard. How frightening could that be? I glanced from side to side looking for a way to carry the new found knife around with me without it cutting me. Then a spotted a bit of leather peaking out and pulled. “Do you mind if I have this strip of whatever hide?” I had found the knife with the sheath, well covering that most chef knives came with. There would be a small loop on the pouch like sheath that I would thread the piece of leathery hide through and then around my waist so it would hang. I smiled as I looked down at myself. I looked like a chef getting ready to cook. Chuckling I looked back at the two and blinked. “bob? Oh the hulk guy. Hi Bob, I’m Kameko.” I do a small curtsy and smile brightly having forgot about my fear for a moment. “I don’t mind heights. As long as bob doesn’t mind, I could find those other merchants for you real fast from an aerial view.” I was practically bouncing with new found energy, the knife having given me a confidence boost. Even though I didn’t know much about the use of knives. If bob didn’t mind, I would climb on his back and ride with him over the carnival looking for the afore mentioned merchants. But not before smiling to man in the mask and waving, saying “Thanks again for the knife. I will be back with those merchants for you.”

For a moment my attention is to the stage as I watch things, having not spoken to Rei or Kazakura just yet. I hear words lofting upon a feminine voice which draws my attention. My gaze shifts to Kazakura as she greets me with a warm and inviting smile. Just the sight of her smiling causes a smile to grace my own visages in kind of a counter smile. My mind begins to wonder as it often does. ‘Ah that’s right,’ I recall, ‘since it’s my dream, she’s probably wildly attracted to me.’ At least my thought process was something like that. There were no inhibitions necessary if I were in my own private dream. By this point, nothing had offered to explain that I wasn’t in a dream, so by my logic I was pretty firm in believing that I was. Not to ignore him completely, I turn to Rei and give him a stern nod, more so welcoming him to my dream, though I did not know his purposes for being here. But after that, I would be returning my gaze to Kazakura and my body would be moving around him as I would come to to stand in front of her. The show in the background was moving a little slowly, so I would take my dream into my own hands, at least for right now. She was kind of hot for a priestess and she had the whole ‘older sister’ type vibe going with her. I open my arms as if offering a wide hug before my gaze drops from her face to the cleavage bearing area of her normal attire. My body moves forwards in an embrace as my face nestles in the valley of her chest where I proceed to motor boat the boobs.

The dust clears. I did not like to be transported against my will, but in seeing what happened to me, I am able to understand the series of events which made my still present golems initially vanish as well as the workers vanish. I come to understand that the sign I sent them to remove must have been a trap of some sort to lure entities into this realm I found myself in. My disgruntled gaze seems to voice ‘idiocy’ at the entire scene and premise as I look around it, noticing that my entrance had garnered a bit of attention.
In his pushing to get through the crowd, Adrian pushes past one of my golems, who was already on the scene since before my arrival. The golem would recognize him well before I and around the word ‘stand’ the golem would be moving with strong speed with a bashing attack aimed for the back of Adrian’s head.
It would only be in the middle of this, that I would actually realize that I had been addressed and by whom. I recognize him with my gaze early in his words around the word ‘disturb.’ I did not give the order for the golem to attack, but I did not give any order for him to halt afterwards. My thoughts were along the line that the swordsman did not know his place. I wondered why someone who ran from me would run to me. In my encounters with him, I was comfortable with the face that he was no longer as interesting as when I was his master and tried to make him strong; at least in my mind. I had Rei as a disciple now, and I had ambitions to surpass the gods; there was no reason for me to associate with Adrian or seek him to serve me like I had before.
Aside from that, I was weary of my surroundings. I did not know what type of opponents would be in this crowd. There seemed to be a large human presence with a few choice demons, but I knew looks could be deceiving. Seeing as I was hovering over a crater that was probably more than 5 feet in diameter given the strength of Dark Skies, I would be more than ready if attacked. Speaking out, my gaze moves about the general populace as I speak in a bellowing and commanding tone, straight and to the point, “where is the exit to this realm?” Since there were people here, I expected to receive some type of answer. I didn’t overlook the possibility that this could be an illusionary trick; if that were the case, I knew a stronger entity had to be preserving this realm as it would be inane to think something like this could actually be real. I would seek out whatever was the overseer of this realm and kill him.

| Hmm... the white haired one looks around and even from where I'm standing, he seems a bit confused by the situation. I bore the same visage when I first arrived. I noticed the warrior charging at the talkative swordsman. How did he always seem to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time? I notice that the explosion had gathered several spirits together. Some felt familiar to me while most seemed very new. This is an interesting place to be sure. I think to turn and walk away when the white hair speaks. Glancing back over my shoulder at him, I note to myself that that is a really good question. I have no idea why I am here and what exactly here even is. I have heard talk of some battles or a tournament or something of that nature, but nothing concrete. I have to admit that I am not a fan of the tone of voice that he uses, yet I do not know him to know if that is how he normally sounds or not. I start to pull the hood of the worn down cloak up to cover my head, but delay when my attention is turned to see the outcome of the golem and the talkative swordsman (Adrian). I wanted to find something to occupy my time and while the entrance was interesting, the current status of standing around and looking around was not all that appealing to me. I take a moment to notice a new dark hair, scantily clad demoness and grin at the thought. A new concubine to entertain me could be fun.

| Growling low in his throat Adrian stood there, his body for combat as he was struck. He stepped forward with the force of the attack. He frowned as he rose to his full height once more. Growling low in his throat his eyes began to glow, the blood red tint glowing behind the ivory mask he wore. He growled low in his throat as his knuckles turned white. He turned, his blade clanking lightly in his grip. He just ignored the Golem, glaring at the demon in front of him. He spun the blade in his hand before he drew the weapon back. His eyes narrowed before he vanished, his body moving off to the side before he brought his weapon up above his head. He then brought it down behind him, and up as hard as he could, the slash causing the air around him to warp. The air shifted, turning to a vacuum that lanced out toward the white haired demon. This technique was one he had mastered in his time since he'd fought the demon. The vacuum worked like an extension of his blade, cutting, tearing, and slashing anything and everything in the area.
"Kuuhazan!" he shouted as he brought his weapon around.
The extension lanced forward stretching fifty feet long, ten feet wide. It was designed to strike opponents that were beyond his reach. And by striking at an angle that would put the vortex going up he could strike at his opponent and not have to worry about any form of collateral damage

| A few implements of torture began to arrive, though due to the shortages this year, they didn't seem all that threatening: an old record player, a Playstation 2 with a few DVDs, and a Rubik's cube. Darci shook her head in disappointment before realizing one other guest had arrived. "Oh! Wonderful! The main event's about to start..." she turned and mumbled under her breath. "As soon as that tub of lard gets here..." She returned her gaze to the crowd, smiling and looking around for the camera crew. "Get it together, Jasper... oh! I mean, Good Evening every one!" she bowed. It seemed quite a few more carnival goers had arrived by now, and the woman retreated into the back. The gargoyles finished up sweeping the last bits of dust, and the lights dimmed...

"GWAH HA HA!!!" the old man cried before being consumed in a blast of cold air, ice, and white light. His new form, a huge, white wolf stood in his place, and the gold was replaced with ashes and bones just as soon as the transformation was over. "Foolish mortal! You have freed me with your stupidity and greed! Now you will be bound to this carnival forever unless y--" Unfortunately, it seemed that Domen'yun and Psyre made their own enterance. A cross-shaped vein popped up on the wolf's forehead. "Hey you two!" he growled, marching over on all fours. "You stole my thunder!" Supernaturally, the damaged ground and buildings caught up in the explosion would repair themselves, as would a mascot who'd been caught up in the dark bolts from the sky. He pointed a lone paw dramatically. "I must challenge you to mortal combat! But, it would be completely unfair of me to challenge you myself, as I am an ancient and powerful spirit. You there! Foolish and greedy mortal [Mukesh], you shall defend my honor from these ruffians so you won't be bound to this realm for all eternity... oh wait... that wasn't the quest. How did you get unbound from the realm? Darn, my Alzheimer's is kicking in..."
|
The man with the tremendous cleaver didn't bother waving goodbye. The meat swung in the wind like bloody strips of party foil as the gigantic goblin took off. The monster didn't seem the slightest bit hindered by the weight of the girl as he hovered in the moment, finally heaving himself clear of the ground's gravity. Off they went over the carnival, over the festive lights, through the lightning bolts in the sky that he managed to dodge, and under a roller coaster with a few screaming patrons rolling overhead. "Merchants..." the hulking gargoyle groaned as he attempted to lend an eye to the search for the merchant as they sailed towards the Shop of Horrors. Yet, fate wouldn't have him find a merchant. Instead, his hawk-like eyesight picked up a much smaller object, whose whiteness stood out against the dark grey of the ground. "It-- it..." he snarled, stopping in one spot over the air above the unfolding scene below. "It's so... CuTE" In his preoccupation with the cuteness, he'd drop the one thousand pound tub of lard. It seemed to be falling at terminal velocity towards Adrian, who would find a very flamboyant flame demon snapping his fingers and weaving his head back and forth and talking in a very fast ebonic dialect, insisting, "Oh no you di'in't, Gurlfriend. Hold the f!ck up. I will cut you. Someone hold my press-on claws. Ruu-uude! I know you didn't come up in here all like m--" et cetera. The demon/demoness all up in his grill would likely distract him from the impending impact of the lard, which would be far from deadly no matter where it landed, but it would send fat everywhere in an explosion of salty, gooey whiteness. And yet, no matter the outcome the winged ogre would land, arms outstretched towards Hoax, attempting to coax him from his spot on the other side of Domen. "Heeeeeeere Kih Tee Kih Teee..." he'd bellow, a crooked, toothy grin across his visage as he'd eventually kneel and hold his hand out.

| | I glanced to Rei and blinked as I was hugged and then my cleavage violated. What had gotten into this boy? I was so shocked that I stood there for the merest breath of time as I wondered what to do. But then the assault on the breast began as if being between them was not enough. I was not a violent type of person but this was a little extreme, my warm smile turned to a frown as my silver eyes glinted with a mixture of mortification, embarrassment and just a touch of anger. Reaching up, I grabbed his hair and pulled his head from the valley of delights he was currently plundering and spoke softly, “What has possessed you, boy?” ….In anime style, I uppercut him and send him through the roof of the building, where he would be a screaming chibi figure that was hurling towards the sun complete with howling sound effects. Down below a sweat bead would form on my forehead as my back is turned from the scene, a twitch happening around my eye region. Rei would have his hand over his brow as he looked up whistling. Then he would look to me as I glared at him grouping all males in my current hatred, and he would begin to back away before he too joined Seiki in flight…. What really happened was I smacked him across the cheek. My left hand then turning and smacking him across the right, like I was waking up an unconscious person. Not enough to hurt but enough of a slap to get the point across. The I would scoot away from him and release him.

| | And we were off flying, with me hanging onto the behemoth with both hands. This was better than any carnival ride. My heart almost stopped as he did his diving and such around and through the rollercoaster. I kept my eyes open for the merchants that man in the iron mask needed. The big monster I was riding on soon said merchants and then stopped, dropping the massive tub of lard. My hands came up to come my mouth as my eyes got wide for a moment. Then we were diving down and I held on again as the monster began to say how cute something was. I looked around at all the fat everywhere. I was pristine and clean. It was rather funny. That was when I saw the cute little thing that was doing handstands and I pulled my hands to my chest and squealed in delight. “He’s so adorable” I slid off of the monster named bob and said. “Don’t go anywhere. You’re suppose to help me find the merchants.” Then I move to the little monster (Hoax) and offer my hand out. “Aren’t you so precious. I just want to take you home and cuddle you.” If allowed I would scoop him up in a wonderful hug, still dressed in my typical cosplay uniform that my friends loved to dress me up in on a daily basis for work. Today’s choice was a black, puffy skirt that came down to my upper thighs, black silk panties and black knee high boots with pink lacings. A pink peasant shirt that left my shoulders bare, and a black corset worn on the outside of the shirt accompanied the get up. The corset had straps that went over my shoulders and pink lacings. My hair was in pigtails again with black and pink bows.
I cuddled the cute looking dog like thing (Hoax) if he had allowed me to pick him up and turned to face the others in the crowd, a light bulb demon flashing over my head in some stupid joke and then flying away. These must be the merchants. “Well… finally, I found all you merchants… though where are your carts? You must get them. The man in the iron mask is waiting for you and he said to tell you all to…” I tap my chin with one finger and then smile as I repeat his words. … “if you don’t get your scrawny asses over there to him, then he will wring all of your scrawny necks.” I nod and smile like I had done a good job. “Now get your carts and get to the eating contest.” I glance from spirit to spirit (Domen, Psyre, Murkesh, Aria, the old man wolf, Adrian, Azhure, and everyone else at the entrance)I lean over to Bob and whisper. “These are the merchants? Right? They are spirits… well most of them… SO they would be the merchants.” …… Somewhere, someone was doing a multiple facepalm while watching this young girl doing something rather stupid. There should be a sign over her that said, “Comic relief”

| I would loo at the gargolyal rather annoyed and almost warningly when he spoke of sitting in pews. What was he talking about, pews were in churches, were they not? Did demons pray to gods as well? I wondered and then followed Kazakura as though in a daze as my thought swirled like a twister, I was trying to piece things together. I would pause in my thoughts as the being answered us as to what a game show was, and said that perhaps I should compete in the challenge. A sweatdrop would come to the back of my head before I said, "Maybe I will." When we got to the sitting area, instead of sitting, I would place a palm out and mummble, "I'll stand, thanks." As I watched the frenzy of work below, I was blown a kiss from a crimson haired woman and blushed, looking away for a moment. I would then look at Lady Kazakura and then back at the frenzy.
Soon after, Seiki joined us, with a crash. I would sare down at him before he stood and nod to him before looking down at the place below us. I did not know the male from the future's plan, nor his thoughts, but I did look over in time to see him buy his face in Lady Kazakura's breasts. I was entranced by his... well, his stupidity. I was in so much shock that I could not move. It was only after Lady Kazakura slapped him and stepped away when I spoke to Seiki, "Seiki kun... what the hell are you doing?" A vien would pop out of my head anime style as one of those black background and an aura of fire appeared around me- in anime fashion, of course. I would point down below and say, "We're doing this game show, okay?" I wouldn't give him a chance to say no, since we were likely less then twenty feet away, I would just godspeed him there after going Incubus.

| | | His balancing act found interruption in the form of a bathetic squeal. Doubtlessly, it had caught him off-guard, for his balance was immediately lost and his fur-paved structure entered into a fractional summersault. It rendered him unharmed and simply placed him on his rear, back now toward the approaching human female. Her figure slid into his line of sight after he had allowed a nigh stupefied glance to spill overtop his shoulder. Drizzled in words of affection, he would soon find himself within the possession of this individual. There was no resistance and seemingly no care for his current situation; in fact, it appeared he was rather enjoying himself. He looked up towards her, his blank expression overwhelmed by one of endearing delight. His eyes would soon descend upon the gathering before him as his genial captor began to relay another’s message. He did not react, but simply allowed his smile to persist throughout the duration of her message. Its conclusion was marked by two things: her uncertainty and following a short-lived duration of speechlessness, the creature’s wave.
“Hi…” it would project, a voice one would expect such a creature to give birth to.

| As the flamboyant demon goes on at him, Adrian's attack is halted as he froze, blood dribbling out of his nose lightly. He stood there, frowning as he stared at the demon, his eyebrow quirked. He had, strangely, had an aneurysm from sheer stupidity. It was strange. He was suddenly very much reminded of a cartoon about a little guy with tall hair and a big guy that was bald and they were killing strange bug people. But the big guy thought that this gargantuan bug was so cute. The hulking demon over there seemed to be doing just that except with something else. Something was very wrong. He heard something, some kind of high pitched whistle, that was getting lower and lower. Looking up Adrian blinked, a sweatdrop forming on the side of his head. Again he was reminded of cartoons. He stuck his sword in the ground and pulled out a tiny poorly maintained umbrella opening it above his head. He grumbled something before the thing hit, smashing against him, causing fat to spray outward in all directions.
Anyone close enough would have heard him say, "God dammit Nappa."

| The Dark Tourney - Pre Battle Karnival Time: ??? Atmosphere: Bright and Colorful Realm: ???Imorte stands in the carnival grounds with his arms delicately folded wearing a white kimono. Kyrs stands beside him in a white and red dress holding a black kitten to her chest in both her arms. Imorte holds the side of his face with his hand. “My my… this did turn out to be quite amusing.” Kyrs turns and looks up to him. She looks back at the entrance area. She shrugs and then yawns. “We should be checking on that other stuff, shouldn’t we?” Imorte sighs and pouts. “You’re a party pooper. They’re handling all of that stuff.” Kyrs points and asks a question. “Why do the same people always show up when we do something?” Imorte giggles. “It’s a small world after all.” Kyrs looks back at Imorte. “How long do you plan on watching them?” Imorte sighs. “Fine… you really are no fun at all.”Krys sticks her tongue out at him and turns away. They turn and walk away in an unreachable manner. They vanish somewhere near the rear of the carnival.
ooc: just passin thro xD - Rules: no set post order wait at least 2 ppl (or 4 characters) before between posts if you interact with starred npcs, wait on that npc to respond before reposting (npcs coorindator’s: label storyline important npcs with a star by their name like *Glucose) Do not start off with “I touch a sign”…. -.-‘ xP BTW - this is just the carnival portion, not the tourney that will take place in onitoshi |

I am a bit confused when I am pulled from the valley of robust flesh and my visage looks up to Kazakura’s. It was odd to me when I felt the smack come to both sides of my face; I hadn’t been expecting it. My face is to the side with red cheeks as I hold a stunned gaze on my countenance. Normally, things like this didn’t occur in my dreams, and the pain was real enough. I think along the lines of ‘oh crap… this isn’t a dream at all.’ I hear Rei’s words and shift away from the scooting priestess as I bow slightly and apologize, “sorry…” I didn’t think I would be able to explain this in any way that made sense, but in looking to the enraged Rei, I attempt to explain, “I thought I was in a dream!” My body rises up and my eyes widen as I find myself being taken away with an explanation that we were going to be in a game show. “A game show?...” I say as Rei somehow becomes much more cool in my eyes. The effects of his charm would make him seem more macho and ‘role model’ like to me, since it seemed to make him more attractive. There I knew that I could not make up for violating the priestesses chest, but I could do my best to make it up to her later. Maybe I could win her something in this game show and offer it with a floor bow in order to beg my forgiveness!

No one readily spoke out, which was enough to make me assume that no one here either held the ability to speak, or they did not know how to exit this realm themselves. I did, however, notice a few targets of interest. A familiar figure moves as if to walk away after my words, and there seemed to be a woman in the crowd at least worthy of a second glance.
Still, the noisy swordsman demands attention once more, after being struck by my golem. In normal fashion, the swordsman calls out a warning before striking. My gaze shifts to the swordsman in time to notice the winds shifting the terrain on a path towards me. The swordsman would only be slashing from a distance if he had the ability to hit me from there. “Hmm,” is all I am able to emit just before the extremely swift blade of wind strikes my body. My hair shifts slightly in the breeze as the attack hits. My body, hovering over the crater, disperses the technique about me on impact, stopping it there. The ground behind me diagonally on both sides are cut by the sonic blade, gaining small ruts in them and kicks up a bit of dust when it hits. I look down over my body for a moment, then back up to the swordsman. I seem unharmed (Toughness + Juggernaut) and I frown as if unpleased with the caliber of the attack.
I begin to acknowledge Adrian, but he is hounded by a very odd flaming demon and also hit by a tub of lard. My previously ignored, lard covered Golem, walks up to the sulking swordsman and attempts to bash him in the back of the head again.
During this time, a large wolf spirit arrives, seemingly speaking to me and an innocent bystander, the previously familiar figure (Psyre). At first, he seemed impressive enough to speak with, but with his words, I group him with the lunacy of this place. Another male speaks, who seems to be on the same wavelength as myself. A foolish girl speaks, which is hardly noticed amongst the amok.
Since there was nothing but madness here, I felt it was time for me to move on. I had a mind to destroy everything in my surroundings, but that would be a waste of energy, albeit in small amount. I did notice that the damaged structures had rebuilt themselves. This was evidence to me that they may be illusions. If that were true, the same could be said about those here; there was no time to waste interacting with them. I could not simply remain here. I did not feel like being here, so I would have to leave on my own powers. The first thing to do would be to get a bird’s eye view of the events. Moving towards this new objective, my body levitates up towards the skies where I should be able to get a lay of these lands.

| The Dark Tournament - Carnival When I heard Azhure begin to speak I glance at her before looking back at the carnival, listening to what she is saying until she is cut off by an explosion behind us. The explosion, having taken my attention away from Azhure, caused me to stop and spin around to face it to see what is going on. For a moment I look at the one at the explosion, Domen, before glancing to another that passes by us, Psyre. Turning my gaze from the one that passed by us I glance at Azhure as she starts laughing and speaks up. As I listened to what she had to say I frowned faintly, could we really be back in Onitoshi. As Azhure began to move towards the demons, I held my ground for a moment, looking from one demon to the other before I finally began to follow after her. While I followed after her I shifted my gaze to one that is wielding a weapon, Adrian. Looking over the one with the sword I frown again. It seemed like their may be some sort of fight about to break out here. Moving slightly ahead of Azhure, I shift and move partly in front of her, " Stay behind me my dear. " I say as I watch the one with the sword launch into an attack before watching a strange scene befall my sight. When I heard a rather familiar voice I quickly shifted my gaze from what is going and and look to a pink haired female. Glancing over the female I recognize her as one I had spent some time with before. As I look at her I frown faintly and turn my gaze away, glancing to Azhure.

| Now I definitely see no further point in remaining here. Watching the insignificant other of the scantily clad woman approach, my grin deepens a bit. I am in the mood for some fun, so after looking up at the white haired demon (Domen), I turn my attention back to the dark haired woman. Now, the kinder part of me tells me that I should just walk away and find some other form of entertainment, but the darker half tells me that she looked when her man turned away and smiled like she was interested, so to me... she chose! My steps carry me in her direction as I speak to her (Azhure) telepathically, "Now aren't you a sight to behold. I think I could have fun with you... if it weren't for your friend there." Walking closer, I ignore him as I bring myself to stand before her as if he is not there. Part of me hoped that he (Valkrist) stepped in my way, but then again, that would distract me from what I walked over for. So if he did try to step in the way, my words would be short and sweet, "You are in the way, sir." With that, my Telekinetix power would correct that, so that this young demoness and I could talk. If she doesn't run to his aid, I would speak out loud this time, "Where are my manners? I am called Tyrn. And you are?"

| The woman in the red dress comes out and bows politely. "Good evening, and welcome to my..." Lightning cracked outside dramatically. Oh, perfect timing with those special effects, Jasper, she thought. "Little shop of horrors. We are having some difficulty at the moment. The 1000 pound tub of baby lard I ordered is late. Until then, we have some... other diversions you may enjoy. This challenge comes with a small prize." By now, people were still filtering in, but most of the pews were filled. The audience was self-segregating. On the left rows, the oni sat. In the center, the humans and hitorinji settled and began chatting with one another. The kami glared judgmentally across the aisles from the right of the chapel, and the yokai settled uncomfortably on the grey bricks, some closer to the oni, some closer to the kami, depending on who they felt most comfortable with. "Anyone care to volunteer? Don't make me pick someone out of the crowd." She licked her fingers and chuckled darkly.

The wolf scratched his head, confused at all of the action suddenly transpiring. He coughed, a cold cloud of white curling as he raised his blue eyes to Mukesh "Hey, it's not good to go threatening old people, you know. We're more similar than you think. Yes, you're bound here. If you don't believe me look on your back. There's a white tattoo there that looks sort of like mine." Raising his paw, he revealed the tribal pattern adorning the back of it. "You have to go see my brother. He's sealed inside of a rock at the outskirts of town..." Coughing, he licked some of the fat from his face and began to trot off, mumbling. "So nice that idiot freed me. Gonna go clean myself off and... *cough* eat something in Yochi. I'm too old for this, these people are going to give me a heart attack."

| SeVen skips into the room and looks around at the people who are there. It looked like there were a lot of people there and there would be some type of show. She walked with Rei, Seiki and Kazakura and giggled when Seiki was slapped away. She looks at the woman in the red dress and thought that it was pretty, but it was taking too long for the show to start. there wasn't a place to buy pretty stuffed animals. She walks away from them and goes back outside to see what else there was to do and closes the door behind her. She walks near Valkrist and Pysre and stands there and looks at them. | |
