Ok. If anyone can help, please let me know.
I am housesitting for a friend of ours and they have a Linksys wireless router. I'm looking dead at it and the internet connection (as you can see is fine). I'm having to use their computer at the moment since my laptop can't seem to find their wireless router. (I'm in the same room) Now I wont be able to post much or use my messenger until I can get my laptop onto the internet here.
HELP!

Ah, there is also this. They may only allow those with the code to see it or access it. My uncle and aunt's net is that way. Also, you may have to check what kind of wireless your looking at- seems silly, but that might also be it. Lastly, what Rune said x)

Lol yeah, like a password, security settings *sigh*. Their is also hooking the ethernet cord up to your laptop, if their is one.

yeah mine does that sometimes just pull the power to it for a few minutes then plug it back up.

Anyways, Yes first thing I check and I can see other surrounding networks. The Friends are on a cruise in the middle of the ocean so I can't call. I have the password and secruity stuff. They made sure to leave all of that for us. So I guess I will have to try the power source. I hope I don't mess anything up.
