Ooc: To wrap up the Bosses Visit and progress the storyline past the completion of Kotohai’s construction.

Outside, the moon hangs high in the skies over Kotohai, a peaceful calm lingers over the fertile valley. The visit had gone well as did the dinner with the council lady Ciena and captain Shinsuke and the time had come for the Supreme Commander to be shown to his room. Many of the vice captains who had dined with, had found their way out, being dismissed, and the captain had also found his way out of the room leaving the servants to clean up and such. At first, the captain has a few men escort the commander, but Kyrojin halts that order and diverts his eyes to the councilwoman asking her, “will ya show me to my room?” She would be much better company than several sausages and due to Shinsuke’s tactful positioning, the women from earlier were removed from sight and thus out of mind at the moment. Plus a subtle mischievous gleam behind the commander’s friendly grin might reveal that he had been playing a game with the council woman this far to gauge her reactions, but wanted her company for the time being. For the moment, Kyrojin waits for Ciena’s response in the hallways dimmed by the nights, slightly illuminated in areas by wall-mounted candles, surrounded by the three man entourage that was ordered to send him to his room, who were, at the time, disposable. 246

Dinner was an affiar I do not wish a repeat of. That girl with the blonde hair. I have never had my temper tested in such a manner. Walking the halls of the manor I had secured is a bit better. The women are gone. Though I had no worry about Takeo's woman, it had been the other. I knew the servants would clean up the mess and I had ordered them to make sure breakfast was ready in the morning the moment the Commander was seen. There was to be no delay. I blink as we come to a sudden stop and I feel eyes on me. I lift my gaze, my hand coming up and brushing ivory tresses from my face. I blink as I realize it is his Lordship smiling at me. My heart flutters as he asks me to show him to his room. I smile softly and nod, stepping forward. I look at the Vice Captains and walk past them and to the Supreme Commander.

"This way, Lord Kyrojin-sama," I say and move forward, hands clasped in front of me as I lead the way to the room I have been using. It was the only one refurnished with new items and I would give it up for his stay here in Kotohai.

The invitation was accepted, and the men standing about the commander bow to the lord and lady before walking off having been dismissed. With a nod, the commander walks up behind the councilwoman, his interests amplified by the ale running its course through his veins making him more playful than usual. He gives her a soft pat on her rear before folding his hands within the sleeves of his kimono as he gets into step with her and to her side. The act would be slightly playful and slightly territorial at the same time, but he would follow for now as they make way in the direction of the room. After the gesture, his voice would be light and airy as he casually asks, “anyone touch ya since then?” simply to inquire if she had continued to be pure after their encounter; basically it was his way of inquiring if anyone had marked her territory after his being there last.

The captains sense the dismissal and bow to us before taking their leave for the evening. I find myself alone with him and walk casually, only to feel a pat on my backside that makes me jump, startled by the action from him. He had not truly paid me any mind since he had arrived. Well..Not in this manner anyhow. I blink and flick my azure orbs over to him, wondering what that had been about. But then a question comes that makes me stop in my tracks and look at him with wide eyes. I feel my cheeks burning a bright crimson. I blink several times before gathering myself and huffing a bit.

"Of course not. None of the intrest me in the slightest. I have only been touched by you, Lord Kyrojin-sama," I answer him and begin to walk again, my room up a flight of stairs at the end of the hall we were walking down.

The commander’s steps pause with Ciena’s halt. His amusement seems to increase with the reaction that comes with the question. Her blushing faces were among her better ones; his head tilts slightly with her words and his gleeful squinted gaze follows her as she begins to walk off and away from him. In a soft and tickled manner, he giggling lightly and comments from his standing position, “heh, ain’t that good.” His steps resume as he picks up pace behind the young lady and starts to make his way up the flight of stairs behind her towards the end of the hall with his arms still cross in his sleeves. It would seem that she was more comfortable around him; given their first meeting, it was something that many might not have thought to happen. His interest stays on her and her movements as she leads the way to where he would be sleeping; the same place he assumed she would be as well. 164

The urge to turn and hit the man rises as I here him finding clear amusement in my formerly flustered state. Damn him. He knows just how to get under my skin and make my mask fall away. Damn him. Damn him for making me love him when I know it is dangerous and that I will most likely end up with a broken heart. But. Dammit I cannot stop my heart from fluttering when he looks at me and I know he is actually paying attention. I mentally sigh as we reach the stairs and I begin the trek up them. It is somewhat of a narrow stairwell that leads up to the private rooms on the second floor. I can only guess that this home belonged formerly to some T'Somian who was of the higher class sect.

I peer over my shoulder st him as we ascend the stairs. "You enjoy making me blush it seems, Lord Kyrojin-sama," I comment in an offhanded manner, clucking my tongue at his antics towards me. "Also. What would you have said if I had allowed another man to touch me during our time apart?" I inquire, curiosity getting the better of me. Why had he wished to know?

Steps are made in an upward manner as the spiral stairway is ascended with the commander following intently. Her words reach his ears in the dim nightlight of the narrow staircase. Much of the manor was starting to quiet down and the sounds of the men from the dinner was fading away as activity was coming to a halt for the night. Sentries would be taking position in front of the manor and the sound of guards sounding out on detail outside would be audible through the calm night air. Often times, the commander picked and choose on what he decided to respond, but he obliges this particular question and the statement before it. “You’re mine, remember?” he inquires alluding to statements made in the previous encounter. Seeming to think slightly further, he assures with a toothy grin, “I enjoy making ya blush, but I like how you squirm and make noises too.” 153

His words make me blink. It was not what I had expected him to say. Flashes of our night together in Belcia flash through my mind. I had given myself willingly to him. Had told him I was his that night and belonged to no other. I was drunk on passion and my words had tumbled from my quivering lips without restraint as he claimed my body under the light of the moon. That night had been Jiseki and Yukina's wedding night, but it had also been the night my innocence was lost to the devil with the child-like smile.

I step upon the landing of the second floor and my gaze flicks to him again. Around us the night air is still. The night is cool and the faint sounds of the night insects can be heard mixed with faint snatches of commotions made by the night sentries around the manor. I find myself laughing softly and smiling at him.

"You are right. I am yours, Lord Kyrojin-sama," I say to him and turn from him and walk to the second door on our left and open the door for him. This is my bedroom and it is done in soft colors of lilac and white. My gaze looks to him again as I gesture to it.

"Your room, Lord Kyrojin-sama."

He pauses as they reach the second floor, his gaze on her with a visage of innocence and attention set in a gaze towards her face as she turns to him. Her smile lightens his facial features and she confirms what she had previously said, much to the likings of the commander. The walk continues to the nearby door and he approaches it as she reaches and opens the door, gesturing into it. His arms unfold from his sleeves as his steps take him, not into the room, but towards her as he encroaches into her personal space bringing his body in close to hers, hovering over her slightly as the tilt of his head gazes towards her asking in a soft voice, “will ya show me to my bed?” 130

Where so many have feared this man, I feel nothing but a desire for him to look at me and to give me his attentions. I know Takeo would most likely call me crazy. No one wanted the attention of this man upon them. I've watched him unnerve men and women alike so easily just by looking at them for more than a moment. I watch him, waiting for him to enter the bedroom. His hands slid from his sleeves and I realize as he approaches that he is not heading for the room, but myself. I do not take a step back as he fills my personal space with his tall frame. I am forced to tilt my head back to be able to look up at those smiling lips. Whispered words that make my body heat in remembrance of his touch. Not of just his fingertips, but of that smiling mouth and the wicked tongue it hides from the world.

I feel mysef flush and I smile softly at his request. "Of course, Lord Kyrojin-sama," I answer him and gently I move into the room, still facing him and walking backwards. I know my room very well and do not fear tripping over anything. The moon filters in through the balcony doors which have been left open to allow the night air to cool my linens before I sleep. I had a western style bed brought to Kotohai for me to sleep in, not use to futons and liking to be off the floor when I slumber. I back up till I feel the back of my knees hit the bed frame. I find my smile warming as I beckon him. "I hope the room is to your liking.."

Much like a mongoose eyeing its prey, his eyes are on her watching movements with a sense of interest as she backs into the room. “Good girl,” seems to roll off of his tongue with approval. He is able to make out her features due to the dim light from the balcony that sets an alluring tone for the room adding to its overall mood. His hands slide to the frame of the door, pulling it closed behind him, shutting the rest of the world out, leaving them alone with one another in this room. Soon after she reaches the bed, his steps begin towards her in a slow and deliberate way as he answers in a jovial yet dark tone, “yea.” The room was far from his mind at the moment, as he had not even taken a moment to glance at it, his tunnel vision set. His basic weaponry, which consisted only of two blades within his obi, seems to shrink into nothing and form elsewhere on the floor as his weapon bonding allows him to displace it off of his frame. His steps come to a stop directly in front of Ciena, and leaning into her, his body comes into contact with her own as his face passes the side of hers, brushing her lightly as he takes in her scent and the feel of her hair, softly whispering to her that it was time to disrobe him. 241

The door shuts. A sense of finality with what is to happen here. I feel a pleasant ache fill my body. I have only lain with this man once, but all ready my body cries for him and the touch of his long fingers skimming over my soft flesh. His gaze is solely on me even as he answers my question. I know he has not even looked around.

A soft thud echoes in the room as his blades hit the carpeted floor. I feel like a pitiful doe being eyed by a hungry lion in his prime. Get the thought of fleeing is far from my mind as he presses himself close to my body. I suck in my breath sharply, unable to help myself from gasping. To be close to him again is like heaven for me. His face comes alongside my own and I can feel his breath puff on my neck as he whispers to me.

"Hai.." I return softly as my hands move from their positions at my sides and touch him for the first time in what seems like ages. They rest on his chest before sliding up, my fingertips reacquainting themselves with the form of his body. Gently they slip under his haori and give it a soft push to slid the white fabric off his shoulders and allow gravity to tug the ivory fabric to the floor.

With the “hai” he leans up straight and looks down as her hands start to explore his form. The soft ivory bangs shift with the movement of his head as it turns to looks to the side following the haori as it is slid from his shoulders falling onto the ground in a small slump that would continue to grow in the future with each garment that falls there. His gaze slowly shifts back around and towards her as his right hand starts upwards, sliding along her outer upper thigh and hip until it comes to rest on her waist. His hand took in the softness of her body. Hungry a red gleam of his pupils is barely visible as he takes in the subtle curves beneath her garments that were in the way; his mind remembering what the body beneath had looked like once the clothing was removed from the frame. 152

The garment falls away, folding upon itself on the floor. My hands slowly slid down his strong chest, savering this. I do not know when I will be allowed to touch him again. A shiver runs through my form as he finally touches me. Its feather light, but the heat of his hand sears me though my kimono, leaving a burning trail till his hand stops on my slender waist. I peer up at his face and the hunger on his face makes my body flush with renewed heat and arousal.

My hands come to his obi, my eyes never leaving his face as I been to tug at it, the fabric slowly unweaving from his waist and into my hands. The moon is the only light on us, casting soft shadows over us. This is a dark secret. No one knows I have all ready slept with this man once. Least no one I am fairly acquainted with does. I do not care if they know. I want this man more than anything. I wish this could be every night. To never sleep alone and to know his touch and let it brand me and possess me under the light of the moon or even under the blazing sun if he so wished it.

Finally the obi slips free from him and I drop it to the ground, my hands greedy and pulling his kimono top open, seeking the flesh beneath. My fingertips feel cold compared to the heat of his skin as I trace over the many scars he has received from a life of battle and blood. But that is him and I find these scars to be a symbol of a life well lived. I know I'm falling deeper in love with this man. But I throw caution to the wind as I lean forward and place a kiss over his heart as I begin sliding his kimono top off.

His gaze returns hers within the dim light of the room and soon the obi is allowed to fall freely to the ground with no protest. He seems pleased by the intensity of her eyes and the passion behind them; perhaps in a spoiled manner expecting nothing less, taking it to be his simply because he was him. The kiss comes to his chest and the kimono begins to slink past his shoulders heading in the same direction as the obi and haori. His visage shows his greedy approval of her advances thus far; of course a man like him would respond well to aggression to a certain point. His hand rises up and covers hers and holding it on his chest and his body leans forwards slightly as he brings his face to her own, nudging her lightly to lift the rise of her chin. His head tilts to the side a bit and his lips come within range of hers as he softly presses them against hers. The softness would soon fade to something a bit more engaging with any form of positive feedback within the lip embrace. 190

I am playing with fire, yet not worrying about the burn that could mar my soul. The world has vanished, peeling me away from the reality and the true weight of the situation at hand. The fabric pushes easily with the soft press of my fingertips against it. I hear it join the other garments. I let my lips leave his chest just as his long fingered hands enclose over my smaller ones. His face comes closer and I feel the nudge from him. My head tilts up and I gaze at him, eyes darkened with passionate desire. He leans in and finally my lips are claimed softly by his. I feel as if this is my heaven. My escape and freedom from the masks I am forced to put on for the rest of the world.

A moan wells up and I finally give into my body's screams to show him just how much I desire him. I press up into the kiss, returning his simple press of lips with a bit more passionate aggression. My hands slid from under his, raising up and threading into his ivory locks, my own now the same moon light color. My finger tangle into the snowy locks as I angle our faces more, kissing him like a woman starved for his attention; which I am. Another moan, muffled by our meshed lips. The choice for the night had been made well. There were attributes greater than variety, such as devotion and loyalty. It pleased the commander greatly how devoted she was considering where they had come from in their beginning encounters with one another. From the moment he laid hands on her in the kitchen of the clan compound, she resisted and fought him back, but not in a completely futile way. Right afterwards, she put her all into healing him after he fell ill; these things might be ignored, but not forgotten. She showed strength in willpower where she lacked in physical strength, but he could feel something was there. He knew that she wouldn’t stay weak and on top of that, she devoted herself to him. The combination of these things work towards a central turns on which made her a figure in his mind that he might keep around. Already he had decreed for no other man to touch her, and accordingly she had stayed pure; her honesty could be easily read. Her body presents itself to him and he takes it after the kiss is responded to. His grip on her tightens, and his body leans forwards pushing her towards the bed where he would be able to maintain his position on top almost in a mounting or dominant manner as his lips continue to press with hers increasing the intensity of the kiss in more wild than calm manner responding to the moans of her throat and the echoing screams of her body. 256

The other hand begins movement as it greedily seeks to take in much of the councilwoman’s form, yet there seemed to be a large amount of clothing still in the way. Moving from near their midsections, the hand rises, running the span of her body, sliding a trail across her hip, lower torso and ribcage, until it comes to rest on her breast, shifting slightly in rotation mixed with a soft squeezing manner. The palm covers much of the lower mound with the center point resting between the ring and middle fingers with the hand squeezing softly. Pressure grows and shifts in the commander’s lower quarters, pushed against the councilwoman’s outer thigh, the one that rests between his legs. The kimono is further fully opened after the first tangible inspection of her upper flesh when his body rises up slightly, his bangs trailing the side of her face softly before lifting up and gazing down over her form. If this was something that he got every day, he might get used to it and take it for granted. It worked to the councilwoman’s benefit that she was only able to give him this on occasion; but still, there was a small chance she might be able to ensnare him if she kept him sated most of the time. I bring my hand to the side of my hip and run my fingertip over the silk string of my undergarment, burning the fabric away and then repeat it to the other side. I could easily replace it. I pull it away, exposing my lower half completely. I then switch my hands behind me and unclasp the undergarment Yukina introduced me to. A bra. Honestly a genius contraption when compared to a corset. I unhook it and slid it off and it is sent off the bed. I look up at him as I pull the jade comb from my hair and encase it gently in a bubble of water and set it on the night stand. I finally lay back and hold out my arms to him, welcoming him to me, the moon light shining across my slender form.

"Kyro.." I purr, eyes half lidded in desire for him and him alone.

After the hindrances are removed form her frame and she plays bare before him awaiting him, he obliges wasting no time by shifting forwards and lowering himself bringing his body horizontally atop hers, sliding into place on and within her. Pressing with her, he brings his forearms to rest on either side of her frame, lowering his mouth back to her neck, focusing on that while making his first several entry and departures. 144

That really should not feel so good. I feel myself melting as he begins to move within me. I find my voice echoing around us as the night wanes on. I cannot stop the sounds that escape me. Many of my cries are a mix of his name and begging him for more. I lose myself in our passion. Losing myself in him and this world we have created for the moment. By the time he slumps on top of me, my skin is slick with a sheen of sweat from our activities. I panted softly and then I hug his form to my own, holding back my tears of joy of having a chance to be with him again. I release him and allow him to roll over to his side. I wrinkle my nose at how sticky I feel. A bit unpleasant as everything is cooling down. I look at him and smile and get up from the bed. I stand near the water basin and I summon water all around me. It swirls about my form, washing away the sweat and evidence of his spent arousal. I grab the lavender soup and clean myself quickly. I drop the dirty water in the empty basin and summon heated air about me and I dry quickly. I find myself unembarrassed by my undressed state and I pad over to him. I move calmly and summon more water, heating it a bit and I wash him. It takes control. But I have been a caster of the water element since I was a little girl. When he is cleaned I send the water to the half full basin. I then crawl under the sheets and pull them up and over his body.

Gently I move closer to him and then I give him a soft kiss. "Thank you.. It was wonderful, Kyrojin," I murmur, very sleepy, my eyes drooping and I lay beside him, my eyes sliding close. "I think.." I whisper, not aware I'm speaking aloud. "I love you even more.. than before.." If I had known he might hear these words I probably would have scrabbled out of the bed apologizing to him. But sleep is a cruel mistress as she drags me away from reality and casts her spell of dreams over me.

Had he been awake during the time that Ciena had gotten up, he might have held her down, stubbornly not wanting her to move after he’s gotten himself comfortable. Had it been an issue, he would have grown annoyed with her and then the prospect of her leaving the room might had come into play. Things such as cleaning and such weren’t on his priority list above other things such as comfort, and selfishly, it would not have mattered much about Ciena’s discomfort as he would assumed his evidence would have dried up on its own. But, when she shifts from beneath him, he is already much asleep, unconsciously pulling sheets to cover his frame as he rests on his shoulder. Her words are nice, but he remains peaceful in his slumber until the morning. She had pleased him well, and for now, her purpose was spent. She had gained a bit of grounds with him, adding to what she’s gained previously, but Rome was not built over night and the commander would be himself as expected he would be. 181
