Closing the folder in front of me, I looked across the council. Each of them was here for a reason, and that was to not only lead the student populace, but be studied from the ground up. Those with traditional martial arts would be studied, so that we could duplicate their sacred forms and teach it to others. Essentially, we were industrializing martial arts while focusing magic. With that in mind, I knew that the upcoming year was going to be one hell of a year.
“are there any final questions?”
Silence once again took the Student council room. There were computers and cabinets stretched across the room, with one side covered in open windows with blinds. The opposite wall had the same, but showed the hallway. Normally, the blinds would be down so students couldn’t snoop on the council. After a moment, I leaned back and stood, dismissing them.
“Get settled, get acquainted, and go eat. The café will be open until term begins.”
It was nearly five o’clock, and the timing for her to arrive would be shortly. Moving my body backwards to the elevator, I would be taken up to my office where I could change into something more.. relaxed. That essentially meant I would remove my jacket and hang it up. Megan would be waiting there for me with a smile. I had told her about finding a guardian, and that the search had been successful. She wanted to see this character herself before making any judgments, even though she would have preferred one of the agents protect me. One of the agents would be downstairs at the front steps of the academy waiting for the car to pull up. Myself, well, I would let Megan follow me while heading out and into the hallway. There was a large set of stairs down the hall that would lead to the main floor, where I would be able to wait for my gues.

I rub my temples. Kami that had been a mountain of paperwork. And then calling Kyouya... I feel a headache coming on. I wonder if I still have that vodka in the apartment. I might delve into that tonight once this meeting with Sanzon is over. I step out of the cafe five minutes before the car should be here. I look up at the slowly darkening sky and sigh softly. I cross my arms under my breasts, letting the sounds of the city fade a bit. I haven't been feeling well lately. Yume is scared. SHe says I cry out in my sleep. I don't know what it is. But that voice is speaking more and more. And its not Kyrojin. No. He randomly giggles and makes my body get riled up, but this voice is different.

I blink back to reality as a nice car pulls up and I suddenly feel like my old life is staring at me. But I know there is no Kyouya waiting for me with stocks within. I wave the driver off and get in myself. I lounge back within the expensive interior and say nothing. I close my eyes as the car pulls away from the cafe. What am I getting myself into with this? Can I bring myself to care? Something is telling me this is something I have to do. Don't know exactly what it is. But its driving me to turn my back a bit on those I know well. I'm searching for something. Like.. Something more in life. I want to know why it is we are constantly fighting with the spiritual beings. What is it that influences both sides to kill another? I know the reason I kill the lower being ones is because they are out killing innocent people who cannot defend themselves. My head begins to hurt again. I push the thoughts out and force my mind to go blank.

The car is stopping already and I thank the driver and get out. I look at the building. So.. This will be my new workplace. Hired muscle it seems. Not like I know what Sanzon really wants me to do. But I'll find out with time I suppose. I walk up to a man who seems to be looking at me. "I'm here to see Sanzon," I say to him, wondering if he is here to lead me to the blonde kami.

A mid height, skinny man with a black suit and glasses was waiting outside. Bowing lightly to the guest, he turns to escort her into the academy. The iron gates would slide shut at the main entrance, completely sealing the facility from the outside. The wide, plat formed stairs would lead to a wall of glass, where sections would slide open. The entrance foyer was a large, open top with a skylight ceiling, which darkened with the oncoming storm. There was a large symbol engraved into the marble flooring, with the old language for “Without sacrifice there can be no victory” . The building was white, with dark green and gold accents. The interior was clean, as the school had yet to be opened. There were several people moving around, pushing carts with large boxes on them, probably to labs or storage. The last shipments were finally coming in, giving us near completion of the entire Academy.
Coming down the large staircase to the left, I would finally be able to lay eyes on the beautiful tea master from gothstone. A smile would curl across my lips while I listened to Megan make a remark under her breath. Of course I heard it, but chose not to make any comments about it. After all, she was my guest. I had offered her a position as an extension of my will, and the actual job could not have been explained while out in public at her little store. After all, you never knew where the division was, or what they were listening to.
“I assume the ride was comfortable.. follow me.”
I would turn upon reach the bottom of the stairs, and head past them to the right. Moving down the hallway, I would bring us to a single sliding wall that would reveal an elevator. This elevator would be the passage way down to the lower levels, where the upper school was located. Once in the elevator, I would be able to explain the entire facility, and its operations to her. Also, the reason for asking her here would be explained. It wasn’t like I needed an assistant, but with her connection to the division, and ability to move freely without being watched, she could be a huge asset to my goals.

My eyes take in the elegance of the academy and I suddenly feel the urge to run. The walls feel like a cage. I feel like a child again, being told by my family what I could and couldn't do. Once mother died I had no one to guard me from grandmother's visions for me. I had been isolated and sent to the best private schools. But no one would talk with me. I was 'That Kyro Heir'. I remember the loniness. It had been my chance at a public high school that set me free and let me meet Yume. She was a breath of fresh air from the life I had been forced to live. CHoked by my grandmother's ambitions.

“I assume the ride was comfortable.. follow me.”

His voice draws me back from my mind and I calm. I'm not a child anymore. Grandmother has no hold on me. I make my own choices. I'm not going to be locked away. I smile a bit and nod to his words. I notice a girl with him, but only simply incline my head in greeting to her. My feet are moving, following him without thinking much of it. THe life I ran from. The life I hid from to be with Jyn. It was all coming back now. Jyn and I are friends. Its time I took responsibility for the name I bear. Kyro Corperation was only just now beginning to grow and I had to help continueing to guide it into something more.

My eyes flick around a bit more, memorizing our moment till we enter an elevator. My hands are clasped in front of me, my posture falling back into my old ways. I hold myself as a Lady of the Kyro family would. Elegant and poised, like a flower displaying itself in spring. I finally flick my eyes to him. "There is much more to this than you were willing to impart earlier," I say softly, unable to stop myself from becoming the business woman.

I leaned backwards against the elevator wall while the numbers slowly went down. There were only two other stops below this one, but it was at least sixty feet to the first one, and another fifty to the second one. The facility had been tiered in construction for the underground portion, allowing us to maximize the usability of space when finished the initial design phase. The outcome was exactly what I had envisioned, from the ground up.
“you can relax..”
I sighed lightly while the elevator finally made it to the first, where a ding occurred. The door would slide open before Megan exited. I immediately followed, then turned left. Moving down the white corridor, there would be windows on both sides, some to class rooms, the ones on the right to the student council room, a conference room where they could run the student body in their entirety. I had left that to them simply because I knew they would know the students on a more personal basis than any of the faculty. We could monitor their activities from the side, and intervene as necessary. After that, the hallway would open into a large foyer overhang with glass siding. The stairs would lead down to a study lounge and cafeteria. Across from it were the entrance to the dorms for the upper students.
“What do you think?”
Smiling, I would turn and continue down the hall, which came to a stop. On one side [the left] was the arena, where you could enter a room and observe training matches that were occurring. Other than the scientists who were studying and monitoring the fights to study the martial arts styles, this was the only place where you could see inside the arena. On the opposite side was the top level of the gym, which possessed two weight rooms, a track that wrapped around the upper level of the gym, with a center balcony that overlooked the gym floor below. Entering the observation room, I would take the corner staircase down to the entrance hall, where we would be able to enter the arena. Megan would stay upstairs to observe and monitor the oncoming events.

His words don't answer much. And then him telling me to relax isn't going to help it happen. I look forward, watching the doors in a bored manner. He doesn't know me all too well. He knows me as the tea girl. But there is a darker side to me. This ruthless business woman that my grandmother helped mold. A faint sigh escapes me. I hate to be so cold. But I am simply being cautious of all of this. Its new to me.

The elevator stops and the doors open. I always the other girl to leave first. I wonder who she is, but I do not ask just yet. I wait for Sanzon and follow behind him. My gaze slides along length of the rooms. Studying each. It would seem this would be for students who show more potential. Hitorinji perhaps? I know I always had to hide my powers so I would be called a freak. Also my grandmother would have probably had a heart attack if she knew.

His question makes me look at him and I nod. "Its well made. Elegant, yet efficient. You did very well," I reply as we continue to walk. We enter a new are and I look around, a faint frown coming to my lips. He goes down a staircase, but the girl seems to be looking down. I move to look down and note it is a place to train. My frown deepens and I move to follow where he has gone. What is he planning?

Unlike most of the facility, the upper class was for a special breed of students, those with magical abilities or private martial arts styles. Here, we would let them reach their potential while learning their styles so that we could privatize them. Entrance into this school as by my word only, even though the lower school was open to everyone who wanted to attend. The lights would kick on below as soon as I entered. There were movement scanners in the corners of each room. When a room was empty, the lights would be off, and when someone entered, they would automatically turn on. I smiled at her compliment of the school, and this was just one more testament to our caring about the environment. Actually, it was more efficient to do it this way, all across the board. The room we entered was considered a waiting room. There were two doorways, both identical. Along the far wall was a comfortable bench that students waiting to enter could sit on, and above the entrance we came through, a decently sized flat screen so people could watch what was currently going on inside the room.
“follow me, and the questions you probably have will be answered.”
Beams inside the doors would lower, giving off sounds of air being depressurized. The large steel doors would slowly part before sliding into the sides of the wall. Before us would be the arena. It was essentially a carbon steel reinforced ceramic cube with a domed roof. The square sides were a hundred feet each, giving for a decently sized place for sparring between students. After all, the only way to grab a spot on the student council was to essentially take it. That was the joy of this school. The strong had power, and those below them would be pushed forward, or be destroyed. At the end, we would be left with the strongest of the new generation, ready to defend the lower commons and slums from the oppressive government.
My body would move forward, effortlessly gliding with each step before walking into the bright lights of the arena. After all, I wanted to know if she was ready for all of this. It may be hard for a human to take in, but I wanted to try anyway. I was even willing to let her leave at any moment in time, but something told me that she wasn’t that type
