An Honest Buck

Ingel finishes off the rest of his coffee before he sets the cup aside and picks up his Hakaisha pistol. He looks at the weapon for a moment before he ejects the magazine, checking to make sure he still had bullets in the gun before loading the magazine back into the weapon and tucking it into his waist band before he slipped out of his SUV and locked it up before heading down the street. This part of Saichuushigai was known for its high crime rate and the law is few and far between so it seemed like a good place for Ingel to practice his trade. Ingel slowly moved down the street, his eyes scanning from one side of the road to the other as he looked for his pray and it didn't take him very long to find what he was looking for. He came to a compleat stop when he spotted a man being hastily pushed into an alleyway by another man. With a faint nod, Ingel began to move towards the ally, glancing around as he neared the ally entrance he reached into his waist band and gripped the handle of his pistol and as he entered the ally he pulled it out. Neither the mugger nor the victim had seen Ingel as he came into the ally, both to worried about the opposite. He came up behind the mugger and pressed the barrel of his pistol into the back of the man's head as he spoke up \" Drop your weapon and put your hands behind your back. \" Ingel's words were met with a quick response from the man \" What are you, a cop? \". \" No. \" Ingel said as he grabbed the man's shoulder and started to pull him back as he looked at the one he was mugging \" Run along now. It's going to get messy. \" The man nodded and quickly ran away before the mugger could grab him. Ingel roughly pushed the man forwards into the wall and he turned around to look at Ingel \" H-Hey man. Take it easy- \" The man started to speak as Ingel looked up on him and squeeze the trigger. Before the man could finish his sentience the gun went off, sending brain matter and blood onto the brick wall behind him. As the body fell to the ground, Ingel put his gun away and looked at the body for a moment before he turned and left the ally, heading back to his car.

I casually walk down the street, hands tucked into my pockets as I glance around for signs of criminal activity. So far it was growing longer into the night and I had yet to find anything but with each passing hour things changed and I knew it offered a new opportunity to find what I am looking for, things like muggings, hold ups, and any of that type, nothing to heavy, not yet at least.. I sigh lightly as I continue moving down the side walk, glancing around once more before my gaze fixes on the path ahead of me. I was beginning to think tonight was going to be one with out any work but as it may, things quickly changed. When I heard a feminine scream I came to a stop and my gaze shifted from side to side as I tried to pinpoint where the sound came from. A second scream allowed me to pinpoint where it was coming from and I quickly took off down the street. As I moved down the street I reached into my coat, around to my back and gripped the handle of my pistol and pulled it out from the back of my belt, bringing it up in front of me as I made my way to the mouth of the ally were the screams were coming from. Once I was in the mouth of the ally, I took a moment to see what was going on, it appeared a man was in the process of having his way with the woman. Seeing this, I brought my pistol up, taking aim at the man, and two shots rang out. Both shots struck the man in the chest, dropping him to the ground.
The woman let out another scream when the man was shot and pressed against the wall, shaking as she looked at the dead body. I put my pistol away and made my way over to the dead body and the woman, looking to her I paused for a moment, speaking up " Are you alright? " I ask, though she really didn't look alright. I watched the woman for a moment, not getting any response out of her, I sigh lightly and kneel next to the dead body and begin to pat it down, searching for money or anything of use. I slowly climb to my feet and reach over, taking a hold of the woman's arm, this simple action causes her to jump and fight back some. I release her arm when she fights back, shaking my head faintly as I slip my hand into my coat, sliding the pistol into the back of my waist band " I'm not going to hurt you. So come on. " I said before taking a hold of her arm again, this time she struggled but I didn't let go, instead I lead her out of the ally. Once we were out of the ally, I lead her down the side walk, walking until I came to a house that had some lights on. I let go of her arm and knocked on the door, waiting a moment before I started to walk off, pausing a moment when the door opened to wait and hear what would go down. After deciding she was safe I began down the street again.
I nod " Alright. Just come back over here and have a seat before you upset that poor man any more then you already have. ". I fall back into my seat, leaning into it as I sigh, shaking my head " Why me... " I mumble lightly as I wait for her to come back to our table, though I had no idea what dish the man had..

I sit back in my car, taking another bite of the power bar as I look out the windshield over at the corner of the street. A few days ago, I had potted a drug dealer who frequented this corner when peddling his drugs so I knew he was bound to show up. And when he did, the plan was to summarily take them out. I knew this wasn't something I normally targeted but I figured it would be alright, give the police a little help with there work... As I watched the street corner, I watched as a person came up to the corner, coming to a stop. Unsure if this was the person I was waiting on, or another rug dealer. I decided to wait a bit to see what would go down. As I waited I reached over to the passenger seat and picked up my pistol. Ejecting the magazine I checked to see how many rounds I had left. I had yet been able to buy a new stock of ammunition and I was running low, down to about half a magazine. I would have to make this one quick, a single shot if I could. Sliding the magazine back into the pistol, I release the switch allowing the top to slide forwards, making sure the weapon was loaded before I looked back to the person on the corner. Looking up I catch another person standing with the first. I watch as something is passed between them and one walks off. I wait until the one who appeared to buy something was gone before I put my car in gear and drove up to the one on the corner. " Yo man, what can I get you? " The person said as they began to move towards the driver side of my car. By the voice I could tell it was a male. Lifting my right arm, I pulled the pistol from my lap as I looked at the man. Before he had time to react I gave the trigger a squeeze. Discharging the pistol, I struck the man in the shoulder which caused him to stumble back. " Shit " I thought as I watched him. I had to use another shot and this time I took more careful aim and fired the second shot before he could get away. This time it was more like a quick pull of the trigger and the weapon discharged again with a loud boom sound, my shot aimed more carefully hit him in the chest again. This time he went down and I got out of my car and walked over to him as he lay there, spitting up blood as he held his chest. I knelt down next to him and reached out, checking his pulse before I checked him over for anything of value. Pulling a bag out of the mans pocket, I look at it for a moment, ahh I knew this stuff, something called 'lovemusk' I put the bag of lovemusk into my pocket before I climb back into my car and drive off...

Yawning lightly, I lean back into my seat, bringing a hand up to rub my eyes before I look at my watch to see what time it is. " .. Alright, I'm calling it a night. " I said to my self, lowering my arm, I reach out and start my car before I begin to drive off, yawning again. As I drive down the street, something catches my eye and I bring my car to a stop. After coming to a stop I look over, out the driver side window into the side mirror, looking behind me, watching this man as he tails another figure. I watched a bit longer before I reached over and took a hold of the door handle then gave it a tug before pushing my door open and climbed out, shutting it behind me before I followed after the two. As I followed after the two, I brought a hand up and slipped it into my coat, tucking it away in my pocket as I followed them. My suspicion was confirmed when the one tailing the other one grabbed them and shoved them against the wall. Springing into action, I pulled my hand from my pocket and reached back to the pistol tucked into my waist band, gripping the handle of it I pulled it out. Drawing closer, I could hear the one who threw the other against the wall demand money or they would get shot. Acting quickly, I rushed forwards, coming upon them before the one with the gun had time to react, slamming my shoulder into him, I knocked him to the ground, causing him to drop his pistol. Once he was on the ground, I brought mine up and fired two rounds into him, pausing the third, waiting to see if he was still alive or dead, once I was satisfied he was dead, I lowered my pistol and moved into check the dead body. Pulling a single magazine of Semi Auto Bullets from his pocket, I slipped it into mine before I climbed to my feet, glancing over at where I had last seen the victim, who was already gone, I nodded faintly and headed back to my car.

I had left my car at home and went out for a walk, this walk had already lead me into East City, I don't know if I was coming here to check out what crime was like here, or if I was just out walking... at night, either way I was here... As I walked down the side walk I glanced around checking things out and looking for any signs of crime. I knew East City was a more, upper class, place, at least a lot more then the Commons. " Hey buddy, give me all your money and no one gets hurt. " A voice rang out behind me. When I heard it I stopped moving, aww shit I was getting mugged? me?!! When I felt something pressed into my back I knew I was right, the voice ringing out again " I said give me your money. " Letting out a light sigh, I nodded " Alright... Just take it easy. " ' I cant beat this guy ' I said to my self as I stood there, yeah, I can beat him.. " I'm going to go for my wallet. " I said before I started to move a hand into my coat, though my wallet was not my target.. When my hand got closer to the pistol in the back of my pants I quickly began to shift, turning to face the man now. Before I could pull my pistol out, the man took a shot at me, getting me in the side before he turned and started to run. stumbling back, I whipped out my pistol and took two shots at him as he ran away, my aim a bit off thanks to the bullet wound in my side now... I managed to hit him but he was still moving.. I decided against going after him, in favor of treating my injury, some how... and thus, I began the trek home.

As two shots ring out, I pull back behind the large metal dumpster, I could hear the sounds of the bullets hitting the dumpster and I couldn't help but thank the inanimate metal object for helping to protect me. At this point, this simple roam the streets and take care of a criminal or two task, had turned into a little gun fight between my self and the criminal I had ran into. I knew I had to wrap this up before it drew the attention of the police.. Leaning past the edge of the dumpster, I bring my pistol up and take a shot at the man, getting him in the leg, the hit causes him to go down and he shoots at me again, only managing to get off a single shot before his weapon jams on him. With the shot, I had pulled back behind the dumpster, expecting more but when I heard the gunfire sese as his weapon jammed, I nodded faintly. Now that his weapon had jammed, I could hear him fiddling with it, trying to get it unjammed as well as spouting off curse after curse as he tried to get the gun to work again. Pulling way from the dumpster, I began to walk towards him, when he seen me coming he threw the gun at me. The gun fell short by about a foot and I glanced down at it for a moment before kneeling and picking it up, it would be nice to have a back up and now I had just found one.. Slipping the pistol into my coat, I turn my attention back to the man who was now crawling away. Standing fully, I walk over to him and put my foot onto his back, pushing him down into the ground as I lift my gun, taking aim at him. I gave the trigger a light squeeze, just enough to cause the weapon to fire, the shot striking the man in the back of the head, an instant kill.. after the shot his body fell to the pavement lifeless..
