Keep it Secret, Keep it Safe

Luckily this day I was in the present realm. Things had gone pretty well in getting my Sensei squared away and my training had bore fruit. I had leveled up a bunch since the previous me and now dubbed myself Seiki II. I knew my Sensei had lovey dovey stuff to do with that cop I didn’t like, but I had learned what I needed to from her. I would continue to help as a Hiramoto Clan member, and maintain the balance, but for now, I could train on my own and proceed with my normal life for a little while.

Because I needed a way to get some money I got back into acting, and related to that I was in a studio when I received the call. I was in the process of taking off a black suit with several green orbs attached to it. I wasn’t going to start in the production I was helping with, but my moves would be shown, since I was the CGI actor aka stuntman for the guy who would be the star. The black suit is half off of my body, leaving me bare chest next to a locker in the production break room when I hear my phone go off. Reaching for it, I answer it and bring it to my ear, speaking, “hello, this is Seiki.”

I became a little happy when I heard that it was Natsuki. Easily read, a smile comes to my face as I cradle the phone against my ear with my right hand. My body moves from the area where I was, stepping to a quiet corner of the break room. I answer when asked, “no actually we were just finishing up here…” I would allow her to continue speaking. I am quiet when I hear the request; my heart sunk for her and I felt bad for her loss. I answer her, “of course I’ll go with you… are you okay right now? Do you need me to come to where you are?” One of the coordinators walks up and states that they needed the suit back quickly. I hold up a finger telling him one minute as I continue to pull myself out of it while holding the phone to my ear so that I would not miss her response. I am left in my boxers as I hand it over to the male who nods with a thanks and exits heading back to the set.

With the tone of voice she was using, I figured it would probably be better if she wasn’t alone right now. “I’m on my way,” I assure her, “just let me get my clothes back on…” Reaching for my pants, I pull my legs through the relaxed fit jeans one leg at a time before hiking it up to my waist and buckling and zipping it. Reaching up, I take my sneakers out and lean over, pushing the phone against my ear with my shoulder as I had to use both hands to get my shoes on. Thinking about it, I realized that I had never been to Natsuki’s apartment before. I begin to make my way back to the locker with my clothing in it as I ask, “hey… where do you live at? I don’t think I’ve been to your place after you moved out of my place.” If I hadn’t been there before, chances were I wouldn’t be able to warp to it, but if it was close by it would only take me a couple minutes to make it there, though I had to watch my speed when inside the city since human’s wouldn’t be used to seeing it… if they could keep up, that was.

After getting my pants up and shoes on, I reach and pull my shirt over my head, moving the phone away from my ear for a moment so that I could get into the shirt. After getting on my red tee shirt, I bring the phone back to my ear and get the area where Natsuki lived. I comment, “I’m not going o remember that, so just text me the address.” I start stuffing my wallet and stuff into my pockets as I continue, “I know where that area is since I’ve ran some errands that way.” I get everything I needed and started to head to the door, since I really was done for the day. Passing by the CGI director he waves and says, “good work today, see you tomorrow.” I nod and wave towards him before heading out of that room and then exiting the receptionist area to get outside. I advise Natsuki, “I’m on my way now. 6-D is on the 6th floor, right? It should just take me a couple minutes to get there.” Remembering that I had a phone, I remembered I could just use the GPS function on it when Natsuki sent me her address. “See you in a moment,” I conclude, “okay?”
